We present in this paper a quantum secure direct communication
(QSDC) protocol by using partially entangled states. In the scheme a
third party (Trent) is introduced to authenticate the participants.
After authentication, Alice can directly, deterministically and
successfully send a secret message to Bob. The security of the
scheme is also discussed and confirmed.

Wireless quantum communication networks transfer quantum state by teleportation. Existing research focuses on maximal entangled pairs. In this paper, we analyse the distributed wireless quantum communication networks with partially entangled pairs. A quantum routing scheme with multi-hop teleportation is proposed. With the proposed scheme, is not necessary for the quantum path to be consistent with the classical path. The quantum path and its associated classical path are established in a distributed way. Direct multi-hop teleportation is conducted on the selected path to transfer a quantum state from the source to the destination. Based on the feature of multi-hop teleportation using partially entangled pairs, if the node number of the quantum path is even, the destination node will add another teleportation at itself. We simulated the performance of distributed wireless quantum communication networks with a partially entangled state. The probability of transferring the quantum state successfully is statistically analyzed. Our work shows that multi-hop teleportation on distributed wireless quantum networks with partially entangled pairs is feasible.

The traditional method for information transfer in a quantum communication system using partially entangled state resource is quantum distillation or direct teleportation. In order to reduce the waiting time cost in hop-by-hop transmission and execute independently in each node, we propose a quantum bridging method with partially entangled states to teleport quantum states from source node to destination node. We also prove that the designed specific quantum bridging circuit is feasible for partially entangled states teleportation across multiple intermediate nodes. Compared to two traditional ways, our partially entanglement quantum bridging method uses simpler logic gates, has better security, and can be used in less quantum resource situation.

Quantum secure direct communication with quantum encryption based on pure entangled states
This paper presents a scheme for quantum secure direct communication
with quantum encryption. The two authorized users use repeatedly a
sequence of the pure entangled pairs (quantum key) shared for
encrypting and decrypting the secret message carried by the
travelling photons directly. For checking eavesdropping, the two
parties perform the single-photon measurements on some decoy
particles before each round. This scheme has the advantage that the
pure entangled quantum signal source is feasible at present and any
eavesdropper cannot steal the message.

Quantum circuits for realizing deterministic and exact teleportation via two partially entangled pairs of particles 下载免费PDF全文
Deterministic and exact teleportation can be achieved via two partially
entangled pairs of particles [Gu Y J 2006 {\em Opt. Comm.} {\bf 259} 385]. The key point of the protocol is a generalized measurement described by a positive operator-valued measure, which can be realized by performing a unitary operation in the extended space and a conventional Von Neumann orthogonal measurement. By decomposing the evolution process from the initial state to the final state, we construct the quantum circuits for realizing the unitary operation with quantum Toffoli gates, and thus provide a physical means to realize the teleportation. Our method for constructing quantum circuits differs from the usual methods based on decomposition of unitary matrices, and is convenient for a large class of quantum processes involving generalized measurements.

A novel quantum dual signature scheme, which combines two signed messages expected to be sent to two diverse receivers Bob and Charlie, is designed by applying entanglement swapping with coherent states. The signatory Alice signs two different messages with unitary operations(corresponding to the secret keys) and applies entanglement swapping to generate a quantum dual signature. The dual signature is firstly sent to the verifier Bob who extracts and verifies the signature of one message and transmits the rest of the dual signature to the verifier Charlie who verifies the signature of the other message. The transmission of the dual signature is realized with quantum teleportation of coherent states. The analysis shows that the security of secret keys and the security criteria of the signature protocol can be greatly guaranteed. An extensional multi-party quantum dual signature scheme which considers the case with more than three participants is also proposed in this paper and this scheme can remain secure. The proposed schemes are completely suited for the quantum communication network including multiple participants and can be applied to the e-commerce system which requires a secure payment among the customer, business and bank.

We propose a most simple and experimentally feasible scheme for teleporting unknown
atomic entangled states in driven cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In our
scheme, the joint Bell-state measurement (BSM) is not required, and the successful
probability can reach 1.0. Furthermore, the scheme is insensitive to the cavity
decay and the thermal field.

This paper introduces two types of two-mode excited entangled
coherent states (TMEECSs) |Ψ±(α,m,n)>, studies
their entanglement characteristics, and investigates the influence
of photon excitations on quantum entanglement. It shows that for the
state |Ψ+(α,m,m)> the two-mode photon excitations
affect seriously entanglement character while the state
|Ψ-(α,m,m)> is always a maximally entangled state,
and shows how such states can be produced by using cavity quantum
electrodynamics and quantum measurements. It finds that the
entanglement amount of the TMEECSs is larger than that of the
single-mode excited entangled coherent states with the same photon
excitation number.

Three-party quantum secret sharing of secure direct communication based on x-type entangled states 下载免费PDF全文
Based on x-type entangled states and the two-step protocol [Deng F G, Long G L and Liu X S 2003 Phys. Rev. A 68 042317], a quantum secret sharing protocol of secure direct communication based on x-type entangled states |X00〉3214 is proposed. Using some interesting entanglement properties of this state, the agent entirety can directly obtain the secret message from the message sender only if they collaborate together. The security of the scheme is also discussed.

We study quantum teleportation of single qubit information state using 3-qubit general entangled states. We propose a set of 8 GHZ-like states which gives (i) standard quantum teleportation (SQT) involving two parties and 3-qubit Bell state measurement (BSM) and (ii) controlled quantum teleportation (CQT) involving three parties, 2-qubit BSM and an independent measurement on one qubit. Both are obtained with perfect success and fidelity and with no restriction on destinations (receiver) of any of the three entangled qubits. For SQT, for each designated one qubit which is one of a pair going to Alice, we obtain a magic basis containing eight basis states. The eight basis states can be put in two groups of four, such that states of one group are identical with the corresponding GHZ-like states and states of the other differ from the corresponding GHZ-like states by the same phase factor. These basis states can be put in two different groups of four-states each, such that if any entangled state is a superposition of these with coefficients of each group having the same phase, perfect SQT results. Also, for perfect CQT, with each set of given destinations of entangled qubits, we find a different magic basis. If no restriction on destinations of any entangled qubit exists, three magic semi-bases, each with four basis states, are obtained, which lead to perfect SQT. For perfect CQT, with no restriction on entangled qubits, we find four magic quarter-bases, each having two basis states. This gives perfect SQT also. We also obtain expressions for co-concurrences and conditional concurrences.

We present a method to teleport multi-qubit quantum information in an easy way from a sender to a receiver via the control of many agents in a network. Only when all the agents collaborate with the quantum information receiver can the unknown states in the sender's qubits be fully reconstructed in the receiver's qubits. In our method, agents's control parameters are obtained via quantum entanglement swapping. As the realization of the many-agent controlled teleportation is concerned, compared to the recent method [G.P. Yang, et al., Phys. Rev. A 70 (2004) 022329], our present method considerably reduces the preparation difficulty of initial states and the identification difficulty of entangled states, moreover, it does not need local Hadamard operations and it is more feasible in technology.

Entanglement diversion and quantum teleportation of entangled coherent states
The proposals on entanglement diversion and quantum teleportation of
entangled coherent states are presented. In these proposals, the entanglement between two coherent states, $|\alpha\rangle$ and $|-\alpha\rangle$, with the same amplitude but a phase difference
of $\pi$ is utilized as a quantum channel. The processes of the entanglement diversion and the teleportation are achieved by using the 50/50 symmetric beam splitters, the phase shifters and the photodetectors with the help of classical information.

An effective teleportation scheme for an unknown ionic internal state
via trapped ions is proposed without joint Bell-state measurement
(BSM). In the constructed quantum channel process, we make use of
entanglement swapping to avoid decrease in entanglement during
the distributing of particles. Thus our scheme provides new prospects
for quantum teleportation in a longer distance. The distinct
advantage of our scheme is insensitive to the heating of vibrational
mode. Furthermore, our scheme has no any individual optical access,
and the successful probability also can reach 1.

Teleporting a quantum controlled-Not with one target/two targets gate using two partially entangled states 下载免费PDF全文
This paper considers the teleportation of quantum controlled-Not
(CNOT) gate by using partially entangled states. Different from the
known probability schemes, it presents a method for teleporting a
CNOT gate with unit fidelity and unit probability by using two
partially entangled pairs as quantum channel. The method is
applicable to any two partially entangled pairs satisfying the
condition that their smaller Schmidt coefficients μ and ν
are (2μ + 2ν - 2μν - 1)≥0. In this scheme, the
sender's local generalized measurement described by a positive
operator valued measurement (POVM) lies at the heart. It constructs
the required POVM. It also puts forward a scheme for teleporting a
CNOT with two targets gate with unit fidelity by using same quantum
channel. With assistance of local operations and classical
communications, three spatially separated users are able to complete
the teleportation of a CNOT with two targets gate with probability
of (2μ + 2ν- 1). With a proper value of μ and ν,
the probability could reach nearly 1.

Quantum teleportation is important for quantum communication. We propose a protocol that uses a partially entangled Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state for single hop teleportation. Quantum teleportation will succeed if the sender makes a Bell state measurement, and the receiver performs the Hadamard gate operation, applies appropriate Pauli operators, introduces an auxiliary particle, and applies the corresponding unitary matrix to recover the transmitted state. We also present a protocol to realize multiple teleportation of partially entangled GHZ state without an auxiliary particle. We show that the success probability of the teleportation is always 0 when the number of teleportations is odd. In order to improve the success probability of a multihop, we introduce the method used in our single hop teleportation, thus proposing a multiple teleportation protocol using auxiliary particles and a unitary matrix. The final success probability is shown to be improved significantly for the method without auxiliary particles for both an odd or even number of teleportations.
