This letter puts forward an ingenious feedback control method with parametric delay to manipulate bifurcation control for a delayed fractional dual congestion model. By employing time delay as a bifurcation parameter, the local dynamics involving stability and Hopf bifurcation is examined. The control efforts can be realized with or without time delay in the strength of feedback control. It suggests that the stability performance is consumedly elevated by exploiting the parametric delay feedback controller, yet Hopf bifurcation engenders ahead of time in the event of the absence of the controller. Moreover, the impact of the order or linear feedback gain on the bifurcation point is numerically discussed via aborative calculation. Numerical simulations are eventually actualized to corroborate the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper undertakes a nonlinear analysis of a model for a maglev system with time-delayed feedback. Using linear analysis, we determine constraints on the feedback control gains and the time delay which ensure stability of the maglev system. We then show that a Hopf bifurcation occurs at the linear stability boundary. To gain insight into the periodic motion which arises from the Hopf bifurcation, we use the method of multiple scales on the nonlinear model. This analysis shows that for practical operating ranges, the maglev system undergoes both subcritical and supercritical bifurcations, which give rise to unstable and stable limit cycles respectively. Numerical simulations confirm the theoretical results and indicate that unstable limit cycles may coexist with the stable equilibrium state. This means that large enough perturbations may cause instability in the system even if the feedback gains are such that the linear theory predicts that the equilibrium state is stable.  相似文献

针对控制无线网络拥塞控制系统中流体流模型的Hopf分岔的问题,提出一种状态反馈控制器.通过选择通信时延作为分岔参数,验证模型在加入状态反馈控制器后,①增加了分岔参数的临界值,扩大了稳定性区域,使系统的Hopf分岔延迟;②通过选择合适的参数,可以容易地改变分岔周期解的稳定性及其分岔方向.理论分析和数据仿真验证了该方法能够有效地控制系统的Hopf分岔.  相似文献

Hopf bifurcation and chaos of a nonlinear electromechanical coupling relative rotation system are studied in this paper. Considering the energy in air-gap field of AC motor, the dynamical equation of nonlinear electromechanical coupling relative rotation system is deduced by using the dissipation Lagrange equation. Choosing the electromagnetic stiffness as a bifurcation parameter, the necessary and sufficient conditions of Hopf bifurcation are given, and the bifurcation characteristics are studied. The mechanism and conditions of system parameters for chaotic motions are investigated rigorously based on the Silnikov method, and the homoclinic orbit is found by using the undetermined coefficient method. Therefore, Smale horseshoe chaos occurs when electromagnetic stiffness changes. Numerical simulations are also given, which confirm the analytical results.  相似文献

We perform bifurcation analysis in a complex Ginzburg–Landau system with delayed feedback under the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. We calculate the amplitude death region, and it turns out that the boundary of the amplitude death region consists of two Hopf bifurcation curves with wave number zero. The existence conditions for double Hopf bifurcations are established. Taking the feedback strength and time delay as bifurcation parameters, normal forms truncated to the third order at double Hopf singularity are derived, and the unfolding near the critical points is given. The bifurcation diagram near the double Hopf bifurcation is drawn in the two-parameter plane. The phenomena of amplitude death, the existence of stable bifurcating periodic solutions, and the coexistence of two stable periodic solutions with fast oscillation and slow oscillation respectively are simulated.  相似文献

This Letter is concerned with bifurcation and chaos control in scalar delayed differential equations with delay parameter τ. By linear stability analysis, the conditions under which a sequence of Hopf bifurcation occurs at the equilibrium points are obtained. The delayed feedback controller is used to stabilize unstable periodic orbits. To find the controller delay, it is chosen such that the Hopf bifurcation remains unchanged. Also, the controller feedback gain is determined such that the corresponding unstable periodic orbit becomes stable. Numerical simulations are used to verify the analytical results.  相似文献

Direct time delay feedback can make non-chaotic Chen circuit chaotic. The chaotic Chen circuit with direct time delay feedback possesses rich and complex dynamical behaviours. To reach a deep and clear understanding of the dynamics of such circuits described by delay differential equations, Hopf bifurcation in the circuit is analysed using the Hopf bifurcation theory and the central manifold theorem in this paper. Bifurcation points and bifurcation directions are derived in detail, which prove to be consistent with the previous bifurcation diagram. Numerical simulations and experimental results are given to verify the theoretical analysis. Hopf bifurcation analysis can explain and predict the periodical orbit (oscillation) in Chen circuit with direct time delay feedback. Bifurcation boundaries are derived using the Hopf bifurcation analysis, which will be helpful for determining the parameters in the stabilisation of the originally chaotic circuit.  相似文献

Since the past two decades, the time delay feedback control method has attracted more and more attention in chaos control studies because of its simplicity and efficiency compared with other chaos control schemes. Recently, it has been proposed to suppress low-dimensional chaos with the notch filter feedback control method, which can be implemented in a laser system. In this work, we have analytically determined the controllable conditions for notch filter feedback controlling of Chen chaotic system in terms of the Hopf bifurcation theory. The conditions for notch filter feedback controlled Chen chaoitc system having a stable limit cycle solution are given. Meanwhile, we also analysed the Hopf bifurcation direction, which is very important for parameter settings in notch filter feedback control applications. Finally, we apply the notch filter feedback control methods to the electronic circuit experiments and numerical simulations based on the theoretical analysis. The controlling results of notch filter feedback control method well prove the feasibility and reliability of the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

The effect of time delays occurring in the feedback control loop on the linear stability of a simple magnetic bearing system is investigated by analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation. It is found that a Hopf bifurcation can take place when time delays pass certain values. The direction and stability of the Hopf bifurcation are determined by constructing a center manifold and by applying the normal form method. It is also found that a codimension two bifurcation can occur through a Hopf and a steady state bifurcation interaction. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to verify the analytical predictions.  相似文献

This paper presents an opto-electronic feedback multi-quantum well laser system and outlines our study of the dynamics and bifurcation in a multi-quantum well laser due to the opto-electronic delayed feedback effect. We point out theoretically the conditions of stability and Hopf bifurcation of the laser. The relaxation oscillation frequency of the system is educed to be the function of the feedback level, delayed time and in-current. The route from stability to bifurcation is numerically simulated via varying the delayed time, feedback strength and in-current. The results show that the induced dynamics can be grouped into four distinct types or modes (stable, periodic pulsed, undamped oscillating or beating, and chaos), where the frequency and intensity varying with the delayed time in the two periodic regions are analyzed detailedly to find that the pulsing frequency is reduced with the long delayed time while the pulsing intensity is added with the long delayed time. And the chaotic pulsing frequency is increased with the large in-current. In addition, the carrier transport between the barrier region and the active region can characterize the dynamics in the laser to produce stable, periodic pulsed, beating and chaotic states by altering the carriers transport or escape rate value.  相似文献

The control of coherence and spectral properties of noise-induced oscillations by time delayed feedback is studied in a FitzHugh-Nagumo system and analyzed by reduced non-Markovian models. A two-state approach is considered as an abstract simplification of this excitable system. Rest and excited states are characterized by different waiting time distributions. This non-Markovian approach allows one to predict quantitatively the increase of coherence measured by the correlation time, and the modulation of the main frequencies of the stochastic dynamics in dependence on the delay time below Hopf bifurcations. Beyond the Hopf bifurcation, bulk oscillations of an ensemble of excitable two-state rotators emerge in the onset of coherent activation in case of delayed mean field coupling of the ensemble.  相似文献

A feedback control method is proposed to create a degenerate Hopf bifurcation in three-dimensional maps at a desired parameter point. The particularity of this bifurcation is that the system admits a stable fixed point inside a stable Hopf circle, between which an unstable Hopf circle resides. The interest of this solution structure is that the asymptotic behavior of the system can be switched between stationary and quasi-periodic motions by only tuning the initial state conditions. A set of critical and stability conditions for the degenerate Hopf bifurcation are discussed. The washout-filter-based controller with a polynomial control law is utilized. The control gains are derived from the theory of Chenciner's degenerate Hopf bifurcation with the aid of the center manifold reduction and the normal form evolution.  相似文献

We study the Hopf bifurcation and the chaos phenomena in a random early detection-based active queue management (RED-AQM) congestion control system with a communication delay. We prove that there is a critical value of the communication delay for the stability of the RED-AQM control system. Furthermore, we show that the system will lose its stability and Hopf bifurcations will occur when the delay exceeds the critical value. When the delay is close to its critical value, we demonstrate that typical chaos patterns may be induced by the uncontrolled stochastic traffic in the RED-AQM control system even if the system is still stable, which reveals a new route to the chaos besides the bifurcation in the network congestion control system. Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献
