Based on high gain feedback control theory, robust adaptive synchronization of dynamical network is investigated in this paper. When the non-linear coupling functions are unknown but with unknown bounded, some fairly simple robust adaptive scalar feedback controllers are derived. The key idea is that a time-varying gain parameter is introduced in designing controllers which can guarantee that the states of uncertain coupled dynamical networks robust adaptive asymptotically synchronize with each other. Numerical simulation is given to validate the proposed theoretical result.  相似文献

<正>This paper presents a new robust adaptive synchronization method for a class of uncertain dynamical complex networks with network failures and coupling time-varying delays.Adaptive schemes are proposed to adjust controller parameters for the faulty network compensations,as well as to estimate the upper and lower bounds of delayed state errors and perturbations to compensate the effects of delay and perturbation on-line without assuming symmetry or irreducibility of networks.It is shown that,through Lyapunov stability theory,distributed adaptive controllers constructed by the adaptive schemes are successful in ensuring the achievement of asymptotic synchronization of networks in the present of faulty and delayed networks,and perturbation inputs.A Chua's circuit network example is finally given to show the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization criteria.  相似文献

Complex dynamical networks are attracting more and more attention due to their ubiquity in the natural world. This Letter presents several new delay-dependent conditions for a general complex dynamical network model with coupling delays, which guarantee the synchronized states to be asymptotically stable. These conditions are expressed as linear matrix inequalities, readily solvable by available numerical software. Both continuous- and discrete-time networks are taken into consideration. It is shown theoretically that the condition for continuous-time delayed networks developed in this Letter encompasses an established result in the literature as a special case. In addition, similar delay-dependent results are derived for discrete-time delayed networks, for the first time in the literature. The most important feature of the results obtained in this Letter is that they are less conservative, which is illustrated by a numerical example.  相似文献

This Letter proposes an approach to identify the topological structure and unknown parameters for uncertain general complex networks simultaneously. By designing effective adaptive controllers, we achieve synchronization between two complex networks. The unknown network topological structure and system parameters of uncertain general complex dynamical networks are identified simultaneously in the process of synchronization. Several useful criteria for synchronization are given. Finally, an illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the application of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of projective lag synchronization behavior in drive-response dynamical networks (DRDNs) with identical and non-identical nodes. An adaptive control method is designed to achieve projective lag synchronization with fully unknown parameters and unknown bounded disturbances. These parameters were estimated by adaptive laws obtained by Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, sufficient conditions for synchronization are derived analytically using the Lyapunov stability theory and adaptive control. In addition, the unknown bounded disturbances are also overcome by the proposed control. Finally, analytical results show that the states of the dynamical network with non-delayed coupling can be asymptotically synchronized onto a desired scaling factor under the designed controller. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper investigates the synchronization scheme of coupled neural networks with time delays. The coupling function, which can be linear or nonlinear, is subject to uncertainties in the network. By utilizing the stability theory for impulsive functional differential equations, several new criteria are obtained to ensure the robust synchronization of coupled networks via impulsive control. Furthermore, an estimation of the predicted stable region is derived to facilitate the design of the control gain. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

在动力学网络中,节点与节点之间的通信通常存在时滞,并且不同节点之间的通信时滞往往是不同的(即非一致通信时滞),研究非一致通信时滞动力学网络上的接连滞后同步,更具现实意义.为此,本文首先构建含有非一致通信时滞的动力学网络模型.其次分别设计线性反馈控制和自适应反馈控制,利用Lyapunov函数方法,重点分析了该网络的接连滞后同步的稳定性,得到了同步稳定的充分条件.最后,选取蔡氏电路作为局部动力学,又分别选取了链式网络和星型网络这两种拓扑结构来验证理论结果的正确性和有效性.  相似文献

This Letter considers the problem of controlling a weighted complex dynamical network with coupling time-varying delay toward an assigned evolution. Adaptive controllers have been designed for nodes of the controlled network. Analytical results show that the states of the weighted dynamical network can globally asymptotically synchronize onto a desired orbit under the designed controllers. In comparison with the common linear feedback controllers, the adaptive controllers have strong robustness against asymmetric coupling matrix, time-varying weights, delays, and noise. Numerical simulations illustrated by a nearest-neighbor coupling network verify the effectiveness of the proposed controllers.  相似文献

This Letter investigates robust impulsive synchronization of complex delayed dynamical networks with nonsymmetrical coupling from the view of dynamics and control. Based on impulsive control theory on delayed dynamical systems, some simple yet generic criteria for robust impulsive synchronization are established. It is shown that these criteria can provide a novel and effective control approach to synchronize an arbitrary given delayed dynamical network to a desired synchronization state. Comparing with existing results, the advantage of the control scheme is that synchronization state can be selected as a weighted average of all the states in the network for the purpose of practical control strategy. Finally, numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control methodology.  相似文献

The synchronization problem of some general complex dynamical networks with time-varying delays is investigated. Both time-varying delays in the network couplings and time-varying delays in the dynamical nodes are considered. The novel delay-dependent criteria in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI) are derived based on free-weighting matrices technique and appropriate Lyapunov functional proposed recently. This paper aims to investigate the synchronization problem of coupled dynamical networks with nonidentical Duffing-type oscillators without or with coupling delays. Different from cluster synchronization of nonidentical dynamical networks in the previous literature, this paper focuses on the problem of complete synchronization, which is more challenging than cluster synchronization. By applying an impulsive controller, some sufficient criteria are obtained for complete synchronization of the coupled dynamical networks of nonidentical oscillators. We use symbolic dynamics to study discrete-time dynamical systems with multiple time delays. We exploit the concept of avoiding sets, which arise from specific non-generating partitions of the phase space and restrict the occurrence of certain symbol sequences related to the characteristics of the dynamics. In particular, we show that the resulting forbidden sequences are closely related to the time delays in the system. We present two applications to coupled map lattices, namely (1) detecting synchronization and (2) determining unknown values of the transmission delays in networks with possibly directed and weighted connections and measurement noise. The method is applicable to multi-dimensional as well as set-valued maps, and to networks with time-varying delays and connection structure.  相似文献

This paper investigates generalized synchronization of three typical classes of complex dynamical networks: scale-free networks, small-world networks, and interpolating networks. The proposed synchronization strategy is to adjust adaptively a node’s coupling strength based on the node’s local generalized synchronization information. By taking the auxiliary-system approach and using the Lyapunov function method, we prove that for any given initial coupling strengths, the generalized synchronization can take place in complex networks consisting of nonidentical dynamical systems. It is demonstrated that the coupling strengths are affected by topologies of the networks. Furthermore, it is found that there are hierarchical features in the processes of generalized synchronization in scale-free networks because of their highly heterogeneous distributions of connection degree. Finally, we discuss in detail how a network’s degree of heterogeneity affects its generalization synchronization behavior.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on the robust adaptive synchronization between two coupled chaotic neural networks with all the parameters unknown and time-varying delay. In order to increase the robustness of the two coupled neural networks, the key idea is that a sliding-mode-type controller is employed. Moreover, without the estimate values of the network unknown parameters taken as an updating object, a new updating object is introduced in the constructing of controller. Using the proposed controller, without any requirements for the boundedness, monotonicity and differentiability of activation functions, and symmetry of connections, the two coupled chaotic neural networks can achieve global robust synchronization no matter what their initial states are. Finally, the numerical simulation validates the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed technique.  相似文献

In this Letter, time-delay has been introduced in to split the networks, upon which a model of complex dynamical networks with multi-links has been constructed. Moreover, based on Lyapunov stability theory and some hypotheses, we achieve synchronization between two complex networks with different structures by designing effective controllers. The idea of network splitting according to time delay and weight is introduced. Based on the cyber physical systems(CPS), a class of multi-weighted complex transportation networks with multiple delays is modeled. The finite-time synchronization of the proposed complex transportation networks model is studied systematically. On the basis of the theory of stability, the technique of adaptive control, aperiodically intermittent control and finite-time control, the aperiodically intermittent adaptive finite-time synchronization controller is designed. The controller designed in this paper is beneficial for understanding the synchronization in multi-weighted complex transportation networks with multiple delays. In addition,the conditions for the existence of finite time synchronization have been discussed in detail. And the specific value of the settling finite time for synchronization is obtained. Moreover, the outer coupling configuration matrices are not required to be irreducible or symmetric. Finally, simulation results of the finite-time synchronization problem are given to illustrate the correctness of the results obtained.  相似文献

Outer synchronization between two different fractional-order general complex dynamical networks is investigated in this paper.Based on the stability theory of the fractional-order system,the sufficient criteria for outer synchronization are derived analytically by applying the nonlinear control and the bidirectional coupling methods.The proposed synchronization method is applicable to almost all kinds of coupled fractional-order general complex dynamical networks.Neither a symmetric nor irreducible coupling configuration matrix is required.In addition,no constraint is imposed on the inner-coupling matrix.Numerical examples are also provided to demonstrate the validity of the presented synchronization scheme.Numeric evidence shows that both the feedback strength k and the fractional order α can be chosen appropriately to adjust the synchronization effect effectively.  相似文献

The main objective of the present paper is further to investigate global synchronization of a general model of complex delayed dynamical networks. Based on stability theory on delayed dynamical systems, some simple yet less conservative criteria for both delay-independent and delay-dependent global synchronization of the networks are derived analytically. It is shown that under some conditions, if the uncoupled dynamical node is stable itself, then the network can be globally synchronized for any coupling delays as long as the coupling strength is small enough. On the other hand, if each dynamical node of the network is chaotic, then global synchronization of the networks is heavily dependent on the effects of coupling delays in addition to the connection configuration. Furthermore, the results are applied to some typical small-world (SW) and scale-free (SF) complex networks composing of coupled dynamical nodes such as the cellular neural networks (CNNs) and the chaotic FHN neuron oscillators, and numerical simulations are given to verify and also visualize the theoretical results.  相似文献
