The effect of the control structure interaction on the feedforward control law as well as the dynamics of flexible mechanical systems is examined in this investigation. An inverse dynamics procedure is developed for the analysis of the dynamic motion of interconnected rigid and flexible bodies. This method is used to examine the effect of the elastic deformation on the driving forces in flexible mechanical systems. The driving forces are expressed in terms of the specified motion trajectories and the deformations of the elastic members. The system equations of motion are formulated using Lagrange's equation. A finite element discretization of the flexible bodies is used to define the deformation degrees of freedom. The algebraic constraint equations that describe the motion trajectories and joint constraints between adjacent bodies are adjoined to the system differential equations of motion using the vector of Lagrange multipliers. A unique displacement field is then identified by imposing an appropriate set of reference conditions. The effect of the nonlinear centrifugal and Coriolis forces that depend on the body displacements and velocities are taken into consideration. A direct numerical integration method coupled with a Newton-Raphson algorithm is used to solve the resulting nonlinear differential and algebraic equations of motion. The formulation obtained for the flexible mechanical system is compared with the rigid body dynamic formulation. The effect of the sampling time, number of vibration modes, the viscous damping, and the selection of the constrained modes are examined. The results presented in this numerical study demonstrate that the use of the driving forees obtained using the rigid body analysis can lead to a significant error when these forces are used as the feedforward control law for the flexible mechanical system. The analysis presented in this investigation differs significantly from previously published work in many ways. It includes the effect of the structural flexibility on the centrifugal and Coriolis forces, it accounts for all inertia nonlinearities resulting from the coupling between the rigid body and elastic displacements, it uses a precise definition of the equipollent systems of forces in flexible body dynamics, it demonstrates the use of general purpose multibody computer codes in the feedforward control of flexible mechanical systems, and it demonstrates numerically the effect of the selected set of constrained modes on the feedforward control law.  相似文献

We address the problem of inverse dynamics for flexible multibodies, which arises, in trajectory tracking control of flexible multibodies such as space manipulators and articulated flexible structures. Previous research has resolved this trajectory tracking problem by computing the system inputs for feedforward control of actuators at the joints. Recently, the use of distributed actuators like electro-strictive actuators in flexible structures has introduced a new dimension to this trajectory tracking problem. In this paper we optimally utilize such actuators to aid joint actuators for tracking control, and introduce a new inverse dynamics scheme for simultaneously (1) tracking a prescribed trajectory and (2) minimizing ensuing elastic deflections. We apply this scheme for trajectory tracking of a two-link two-joint planar manipulator with joint motors and distributed electro-strictive actuators. Experimental results are presented to contrast our new scheme with other existing methods.  相似文献

A new approach for feedback linearization of attitude dynamics for rigid gas jet-actuated spacecraft control is introduced. The approach is aimed at providing global feedback linearization of the spacecraft dynamics while realizing a prescribed linear attitude deviation dynamics. The methodology is based on nonuniqueness representation of underdetermined linear algebraic equations solution via nullspace parametrization using generalized inversion. The procedure is to prespecify a stable second-order linear time-invariant differential equation in a norm measure of the spacecraft attitude variables deviations from their desired values. The evaluation of this equation along the trajectories defined by the spacecraft equations of motion yields a linear relation in the control variables. These control variables can be solved by utilizing the Moore–Penrose generalized inverse of the involved controls coefficient row vector. The resulting control law consists of auxiliary and particular parts, residing in the nullspace of the controls coefficient and the range space of its generalized inverse, respectively. The free null-control vector in the auxiliary part is projected onto the controls coefficient nullspace by a nullprojection matrix, and is designed to yield exponentially stable spacecraft internal dynamics, and singularly perturbed feedback linearization of the spacecraft attitude dynamics. The feedback control design utilizes the concept of damped generalized inverse to limit the growth of the Moore–Penrose generalized inverse, in addition to the concepts of singularly perturbed controls coefficient nullprojection and damped controls coefficient nullprojection to disencumber the nullprojection matrix from its rank deficiency, and to enhance the closed loop control system performance. The methodology yields desired linear attitude deviation dynamics realization with globally uniformly ultimately bounded trajectory tracking errors, and reveals a tradeoff between trajectory tracking accuracy and damped generalized inverse stability. The paper bridges a gap between the nonlinear control problem applied to spacecraft dynamics and some of the basic generalized inversion-related analytical dynamics principles.  相似文献

The dynamics of a rigid body with flexible attachments is studied. A general framework for problems of this type is established in the context of Poisson manifolds and reduction. A simple model for a rigid body with an attached linear extensible shear beam is worked out for illustration. Second, the Energy-Casimir method for proving nonlinear stability is recalled and specific stability criteria for our model example are worked out. The Poisson structure and stability results take into account vibrations of the string, rotations of the rigid body, their coupling at the point of attachment, and centrifugal and Coriolis forces.  相似文献

机器人关节非线性摩擦的准确描述对提高机器人轨迹精度、定位精度及其可靠性等具有重要理论意义和科学价值. 然而, 机器人关节通常包含电机、减速器、驱动器和传感器, 是一个复杂的机电耦合系统, 随服役时间及工况的变化, 机器人关节的摩擦参数也存在显著时变效应, 难以准确描述, 造成轨迹精度下降, 为机器人后期精度维护造成巨大困难. 因此, 本文定量评价了摩擦参数对机器人输出力矩的影响, 提出考虑时变效应的机器人关节非线性摩擦参数反求方法. 首先, 建立机器人关节一般非线性摩擦模型. 设计机器人关节恒速跟踪实验, 通过卡尔曼滤波对实验采集的数据进行处理, 进而建立关节速度和驱动电机电流之间的关系, 完成关节一般非线性摩擦模型建立. 其次, 择取非线性摩擦模型关键参数. 建立包含非线性摩擦的机器人动力学模型, 基于激励轨迹计算各关节力矩, 并对其开展灵敏度分析, 择取对关节力矩灵敏性较高的摩擦参数. 再次, 建立关节输出力矩和摩擦参数一一对应的数据集. 基于实际工况构建摩擦参数取值空间, 采用最优拉丁超立方法对摩擦参数采样, 并将其代入机器人动力学模型计算出相应的力矩, 从而求得关节输出力矩和摩擦参数一一对应的数据集. 最后, 建立反问题神经网络并对其进行训练, 实现非线性摩擦模型关键参数反求, 并进行验证. 研究结果表明关节非线性摩擦的准确描述减小了机器人低速运动换向时摩擦力矩突变对机器人轨迹的影响, 显著提升了机器人轨迹精度.   相似文献

The paper studies nonlinear dynamics and control of a class of space station based mobile flexible two-link manipulators, normally referred to as the Mobile Servicing System (MSS).The governing nonlinear, nonautonomous and coupled equations of motion are described first followed by the modal discretizations procedure. A parametric response study suggests situations with unacceptable levels of deflections and accelerations for certain proposed missions, as well as station libration and payload positioning errors.An inverse control technique is proposed to achieve high tracking accuracy of the MSS in presence of maneuver induced disturbances. The control strategy is so designed as to regulate the libration of the Space Station as well as to insure joints tracking of prescribed trajectories, while limiting the effect of the structural vibration during large slewing maneuvres of the MSS. The instantaneous squeeze-film force between a heat exchanger tube and a support plate is studied. Based on a two-dimensional rectangular plate model, a short-sleeve squeeze-film model for arbitrary tube motion is developed. The instantaneous squeeze-film force is expressed in normal and tangential directions. The normal squeeze-film force consists of four nonlinear terms, the viscous, unsteady inertia, convective inertia and centripetal inertia terms. Three nonlinear terms, the viscous, unsteady inertia and Coriolis inertia terms, make up the tangential squeeze-film force. An experimental apparatus was developed in order to evaluate the theoretical models against measurements of a finite length squeeze film. A modified model based on the experimental data is obtained where the viscous terms for both directions are multiplied by the instantaneous Reynolds number. All the inertia terms are multiplied by constant coefficients. The modified model is in good agreement with most experimental cases for unsymmetrical linear motion, approximate circular motion and elliptical motion. The form of the modified model is suitable for predicting instantaneous squeeze-film forces in the simulation of heat exchanger tube vibration. Further work using different sized components and fluid properties is required in order to finalize coefficient values.  相似文献

Centrifugal flywheel governors are known as chaotic non-autonomous mechanical devices used for automatic control of the speed of engines. The main characteristic of them is avoiding the damage caused by sudden change of the load torques. In this paper, the problem of robust finite-time synchronization of centrifugal flywheel governor systems is studied. The effects of unknown parameters, model uncertainties, external noises, and input nonlinearities are fully taken into account. We propose some adaptive laws to overcome the side effects of the unknown parameters of the system on the synchronization performance. Then, a robust adaptive switching controller is introduced to synchronize centrifugal flywheel governors with nonlinear control inputs in a given finite time. The finite-time fast convergence property of the proposed scheme is analytically proved and numerically illustrated.  相似文献

Natural transverse vibrations of an extended segment of a pipeline containing a uniformly moving fluid are considered. The mechanical model under study takes into account the inertial forces of the pipe and environment and the moment of Coriolis and centrifugal forces arising because of the medium motion. It is proved that all natural frequencies of the pipeline rigidly clamped at both ends are real (and hence no flutter can arise in this model). For the first three modes, the dependence of the eigenvalues on the fluid flow velocity (varying from zero to the buckling velocity) are constructed, and their properties depending on the inertia parameter are studied. Families of vibration mode shapes of the pipeline are constructed and investigated.  相似文献

Methods that treat rigid/flexible multibody systems undergoing large motion as well as deformations are often accompanied with inefficiencies and instabilities in the numerical solution due to the large number of state variables, differences in the magnitudes of the rigid and flexible body coordinates, and the time dependencies of the mass and stiffness matrices. The kineto-static methodology of this paper treats a multibody mechanical system to consist of two collections of bulky (rigid) bodies and relatively flexible ones. A mixed boundary condition nonlinear finite element problem is then formulated at each time step whose known quantities are the displacements of the nodes at the boundary of rigid and flexible bodies and its unknowns are the deformed shape of the entire structure and the loads (forces and moments) at the boundary. Partitioning techniques are used to solve the systems of equations for the unknowns, and the numerical solution of the rigid multibody system governing equations of motion is carried out. The methodology is very much suitable in modelling and predicting the impact responses of multibody system since both nonlinear and large gross motion as well as deformations are encountered. Therefore, it has been adopted for the studies of the dynamic responses of ground vehicle or aircraft occupants in different crash scenarios. The kineto-static methodology is used to determine the large motion of the rigid segments of the occupant such as the limbs and the small deformations of the flexible bodies such as the spinal column. One of the most dangerous modes of injury is the amount of compressive load that the spine experiences. Based on the developed method, a mathematical model of the occupant with a nonlinear finite element model of the lumbar spine is developed for a Hybrid II (Part 572) anthropomorphic test dummy. The lumbar spine model is then incorporated into a gross motion occupant model. The analytical results are correlated with the experimental results from the impact sled test of the dummy/seat/restraint system. With this extended occupant model containing the lumbar spine, the gross motion of occupant segments, including displacements, velocities and accelerations as well as spinal axial loads, bending moments, shear forces, internal forces, nodal forces, and deformation time histories are evaluated. This detailed information helps in assessing the level of spinal injury, determining mechanisms of spinal injury, and designing better occupant safety devices.  相似文献

本文简要介绍了飞艇的发展沿革和研究现状. 通过同传统的航空器、航天器、潜艇和低空飞艇进行比较, 阐述了平流层飞艇的飞行原理. 从基本运动模型和复杂受力情况的角度, 系统地讨论了飞艇动力学研究进展, 包括空气动力学研究、静力分析、热力学分析、柔性体动力学及流固耦合研究. 然后综述了飞艇控制方法研究进展, 包括小扰动线性化控制、输入输出反馈线性化控制、基于Lyapunov 非线性稳定性的控制及其他控制方法. 最后展望了在平流层飞艇动力学与控制领域需要从6 个方面加强研究.   相似文献

Stability analysis of a cantilevered pipe with an inclined terminal nozzle as well as simultaneous internal and external fluid flows is investigated in this study. The pipe is embedded in an aerodynamic cover with negligible mass and stiffness simply to streamline the external flow and avoid vortex induced vibrations. The structure of pipe is modeled as an Euler–Bernoulli beam and effects of internal fluid flow including flow-induced inertia, Coriolis and centrifugal forces and the follower force induced by the exhausting jet are taken into account. In addition, neglecting the compressibility effect and using the unsteady Wagner model, aerodynamic loading is determined as a distributed lateral load for any generic structural state. The integral form of coupled equations of motion are obtained using the Hamilton’s principle. Solution to the coupled flexural–torsional equations of motion is realized via the extended Galerkin method. After discretization of the equations of motion, an eigenvalue representation of the problem is obtained. Several parameter studies are then conducted to examine the effects of concurrent fluid flows and other related parameters on the stability margins of the system.  相似文献
