We compute the Fourier coefficients of the weight one modular form \(\eta (z)\eta (2z)\eta (3z)/\eta (6z)\) in terms of the number of representations of an integer as a sum of two squares. We deduce a relation between this modular form and translates of the modular form \(\eta (z)^4/\eta (2z)^2\). In the last section we use our main result to give an elementary proof of an identity by Victor Kac.  相似文献

We find sharp upper bounds for $ \vert \,f^{\prime \prime }(z)/f^{\prime }(z) \vert $ such that the function f be starlike or strongly-starlike of a given order, where f is holomorphic in the unit disc U , with $ f(0)=f^{\prime }(0)-1=0 $ . These bounds are obtained by using the differential subordination technique. As a useful ingredient we obtain the radius of convexity for the function $ F(z)= z /(\exp (z)-1) $  相似文献

Let m be a positive integer, and let p be a prime with \(p \equiv 1~(\mathrm{mod}~4).\) Then we show that the exponential Diophantine equation \((3pm^2-1)^x+(p(p-3)m^2+1)^y=(pm)^z\) has only the positive integer solution \((x, y, z)=(1, 1, 2)\) under some conditions. As a corollary, we derive that the exponential Diophantine equation \((15m^2-1)^x+(10m^2+1)^y=(5m)^z\) has only the positive integer solution \((x, y, z)=(1, 1, 2).\) The proof is based on elementary methods and Baker’s method.  相似文献

The authors mainly concern the set U f of c ?? ? such that the power deformation $ z(\frac{{f(z)}} {z})^c $ is univalent in the unit disk |z| < 1 for a given analytic univalent function f(z) = z + a 2 z 2 + ?? in the unit disk. It is shown that U f is a compact, polynomially convex subset of the complex plane ? unless f is the identity function. In particular, the interior of U f is simply connected. This fact enables us to apply various versions of the ??-lemma for the holomorphic family $ z(\frac{{f(z)}} {z})^c $ of injections parametrized over the interior of U f . Let n be a positive integer. In this paper, using the results on the existence of primitive divisors of Lucas numbers and some properties of quadratic and exponential diophantine equations, we prove that if n ≡ 3 (mod 6), then the equation x 2 + (3n 2 + 1) y = (4n 2 + 1) z has only the positive integer solutions (x, y, z) = (n, 1, 1) and (8n 3 + 3n, 1, 3).  相似文献
