In this work we study the semileptonic decay of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {l}^{+}{l}^{-}$ (l=e, μ, τ) with the QCD sum rule method. We calculate the ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi $ translation form factors relevant to this semileptonic decay, then the branching ratios of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {l}^{+}{l}^{-}$ (l=e, μ, τ) decays are calculated with the form factors obtained here. Our result for the branching ratio of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {\mu }^{+}{\mu }^{-}$ agree very well with the recent experimental data. For the unmeasured decay modes such as ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {e}^{+}{e}^{-}$ and ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {\tau }^{+}{\tau }^{-}$, we give theoretical predictions.  相似文献

We consider the Schrödinger equation with a combination of Deng–Fan-type and harmonic terms. To solve the corresponding differential equation, we split the equation to two parts: the parent and the perturbation terms. We use the Nikiforov–Uvarov technique to solve the parent part. For the perturbation part, we apply the series expansion method. Next, using the calculated wave function, we investigate some bottom and charm mesons within the Isgur–Wise function formalism. We present especially semileptonic \({\bar{B} \rightarrow D\ell \bar{\nu}}\) and \({\bar{B}_{s} \rightarrow D_s \ell \bar{\nu }}\) decay widths, branching ratios and \({|V_{cb}|}\) (element of the CKM matrix). Masses of some pseudoscalar mesons are also indicated. Comparisons of our results with experimental values and other approaches are included.  相似文献

An improved search for B s 0 oscillations is performed in the ALEPH data sample collected during the first phase of LEP, and reprocessed in 1998. Three analyses based on complementary event selections are presented. First, decays of B s 0 mesons into hadronic flavour eigenstates are fully reconstructed. This selection yields a small sample of candidates with excellent decay length and momentum resolution and hi gh average B s 0 purity. Semileptonic decays with a reconstructed D s - meson provide a second sample with larger statistics, high average B s 0 purity, but a poorer momentum and decay length resolution due to the partial decay reconstruction. Finally, semileptonic b-hadron decays are inclusively selected and yield the data sample with the highest sensitivity to B s 0 oscillations, as the much higher statistics compensate for the low average B s 0 purity and poorer time resolution. A lower limit is set atps-1 at 95% C.L., significantly lower than the expected limit of 15.2 ps-1. Received: 21 February 2003 / Published online: 11 June 2003  相似文献

The process p $ \bar{{p}}$ $ \rightarrow$ $ \Lambda_{c}^{+}$ $ \bar{{\Lambda}}_{c}^{-}$ is investigated within the handbag approach. It is shown to lowest order of perturbative QCD that, under the assumption of restricted parton virtualities and transverse momenta, the dominant dynamical mechanism, characterized by the partonic subprocess u $ \bar{{u}}$ $ \rightarrow$ c $ \bar{{c}}$ , factorizes in the sense that only the subprocess contains highly virtual partons, namely a gluon, while the hadronic matrix elements embody only soft scales and can be parameterized in terms of helicity flip and non-flip generalized parton distributions. Modelling the latter functions by overlaps of light-cone wave functions for the involved baryons we are able to predict cross-sections and spin correlation parameters for the process of interest.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate methods to study the $t\bar{t}$ Higgs coupling. The spin and CP properties of a Higgs boson are analysed in a model-independent way in its associated production with a $t\bar{t}$ pair in high-energy e + e ? collisions. We study the prospects of establishing the CP quantum numbers of the Higgs boson in the CP-conserving case as well as those of determining the CP-mixing if CP is violated. We explore in this analysis the combined use of the total cross section and its energy dependence, the polarisation asymmetry of the top quark and the up-down asymmetry of the antitop with respect to the top–electron plane. We find that combining all three observables remarkably reduces the error on the determination of the CP properties of the Higgs Yukawa coupling. Furthermore, the top polarisation asymmetry and the ratio of cross sections at different collider energies are shown to be sensitive to the spin of the particle produced in association with the top-quark pair.  相似文献

We study the impact of next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD corrections on partial decay rates in $\bar{B}\to X_{u}\ell \bar{\nu}_{\ell}$ decays, at leading-order in the 1/m b expansion for shape-function kinematics. These corrections are implemented within a modified form of the BLNP framework, which allows for arbitrary variations of the jet scale μ i ~1.5 GeV. Our analysis includes a detailed comparison between resummed and fixed-order perturbation theory, and between the complete NNLO results and those obtained in the large-β 0 approximation. For the default choice μ i =1.5 GeV used in current extractions of |V ub | within the BLNP framework, the NNLO corrections induce significant downward shifts in the central values of partial decay rates with cuts on the hadronic variable P +, the hadronic invariant mass, and the lepton energy. At the same time, perturbative uncertainties are reduced, especially those at the jet scale, which are the dominant ones at next-to-leading order (NLO). For higher values of μ i and in fixed-order perturbation theory, the shifts between NLO and NNLO are more moderate. We combine our new results with known power-suppressed terms in order to illustrate the implications of our analysis on the determination of |V ub | from inclusive decays.  相似文献

Using the method of laser-induced fluorescence in an atomic beam we have measured the hyperfine splitting constants, A and B, of the ground and excited states of the optical transition 4f 76s 2 8S $_{1/2}\to 4f^{7}$ 6s6p 6P5/2 (564.58 nm) for 151???155Eu isotopes. For all isotopes, the magnetic dipole constants of the 6P5/2 atomic level are determined to a precision better than 0.04%. The A and B constants for the ground state 8S7/2 of the radioactive 152,154,155Eu were obtained for the first time with a precision better than 0.5%. Our data along with previous ground state hyperfine structure measurements for the stable europium isotopes allow us to determine the hyperfine anomaly for mentioned Eu isotopes.  相似文献

Time-dependent mixing is studied using about two million hadronic Z decays registered by L3 in 1994 and 1995. For this study three techniques are used. Tagging of the b-quark charge at decay time is performed by identifying leptons from semileptonic B decays. The flavour of the b quark at production time is determined from the charge of the lepton in the opposite hemisphere or by using a jet-charge technique. The proper time of the B-particle decay is obtained by reconstructing the production and decay vertices or by a measurement of the lepton impact parameter. We investigate the physics potential of the annihilation decays in the standard model and beyond. In a naive factorization approach, the branching ratios are estimated to be and . In the framework of QCD factorization, we compute the non-factorizable corrections and get , . Future measurements of these decays would be useful for testing the factorization frameworks. The smallness of these decays in the SM makes them sensitive probes of new physics. As an example, we will consider the possible admixture of the (V + A) charge current to the standard (V-A) current. This admixture will give a significant contribution to the decays.Received: 29 August 2003, Revised: 17 January 2004, Published online: 19 March 2004Corresponding author: Y.D. Yang  相似文献

The kinetics of growth, composition and electronic structure of thin oxide films formed by reactive ion beam mixing (IBM) of Ni/Al interfaces bombarded with low-energy (3-keV) O2+\mathrm{O}_{2}^{+} ions have been studied at room temperature using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy and factor analysis. Initially, NiO species are formed but, later, with increasing ion dose, Ni–Al mixed oxide species appear due to Al incorporation in the near-surface region. These changes are accompanied by a slight increase of the oxygen concentration and a decrease of the Ni/Al ratio in the thin oxide films formed. Angle-resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy shows that Ni–Al mixed oxide species are located nearer the surface than NiO species. Experimental results have been compared with Monte Carlo TRIDYN simulations, suggesting that processes driven by residual defects or the reaction with oxygen predominate over pure ballistic mechanisms during reactive IBM of Ni/Al interfaces.  相似文献

In general, clusters are unstable and in many cases several metastable isomers exist even at low temperature. Therefore, a cluster may react with a dramatic geometry change to a small disturbance such as a weak field or to the absorption of a low-energy photon. Here, we study the response of Al3O3-\mathrm{Al}_{3}\mathrm{O}_{3}^{-} to photoexcitation using time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. Earlier experimental and theoretical studies suggested that this cluster anion undergoes a geometry change after photoexcitation. In contrast, our time-resolved spectra indicate that photoexcitation triggers ultra-fast fragmentation. This example demonstrates that ultra-fast processes in clusters are not well understood and that it is still difficult to gain reliable experimental data about such processes.  相似文献

In this article, we assume that there exist the pseudoscalar $D\bar{D}_{s0}^*(2317)$ and $D^*\bar{D}_{s1}^*(2460)$ molecular states $Z_{1,2}$ and construct the color singlet-singlet molecule-type interpolating currents to study their masses with the QCD sum rules. In calculations, we consider the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 and use the formula $\mu=\sqrt{M_{X/Y/Z}^{2}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_{c})^{2}}$ to determine the energy scales of the QCD spectral densities. The numerical results, $M_{Z_1}=4.61_{-0.08}^{+0.11}\,\text{GeV}$ and $M_{Z_2}=4.60_{-0.06}^{+0.07}\,\text{GeV}$, which lie above the $D\bar{D}_{s0}^*(2317)$ and $D^*\bar{D}_{s1}^*(2460)$ thresholds respectively, indicate that the $D\bar{D}_{s0}^*(2317)$ and $D^*\bar{D}_{s1}^*(2460)$ are difficult to form bound state molecular states, the $Z_{1,2}$ are probably resonance states.  相似文献

Using algebraic methods, we find the three-loop relation between the bare and physical couplings of one-flavourD-dimensional QED, in terms of Γ functions and a singleF 32 series, whose expansion nearD=4 is obtained, by wreath-product transformations, to the order required for five-loop calculations. Taking the limitD→4, we find that the \(\overline {MS} \) coupling \(\bar \alpha (\mu )\) satisfies the boundary condition $$\begin{gathered} \frac{{\bar \alpha (m)}}{\pi } = \frac{\alpha }{\pi } + \frac{{15}}{{16}}\frac{{\alpha ^3 }}{{\pi ^3 }} + \left\{ {\frac{{11}}{{96}}\zeta (3) - \frac{1}{3}\pi ^2 \log 2} \right. \hfill \\ \left. { + \frac{{23}}{{72}}\pi ^2 - \frac{{4867}}{{5184}}} \right\}\frac{{\alpha ^4 }}{{\pi ^4 }} + \mathcal{O}(\alpha ^5 ), \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ wherem is the physical lepton mass and α is the physical fine structure constant. Combining this new result for the finite part of three-loop on-shell charge renormalization with the recently revised four-loop term in the \(\overline {MS} \) β-function, we obtain $$\begin{gathered} \Lambda _{QED}^{\overline {MS} } \approx \frac{{me^{3\pi /2\alpha } }}{{(3\pi /\alpha )^{9/8} }}\left( {1 - \frac{{175}}{{64}}\frac{\alpha }{\pi } + \left\{ { - \frac{{63}}{{64}}\zeta (3)} \right.} \right. \hfill \\ \left. { + \frac{1}{2}\pi ^2 \log 2 - \frac{{23}}{{48}}\pi ^2 + \frac{{492473}}{{73728}}} \right\}\left. {\frac{{\alpha ^2 }}{{\pi ^2 }}} \right), \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ at the four-loop level of one-flavour QED.  相似文献
