We investigate the dynamics of quantum correlation between two noninteracting qubits each inserted in its own finite-temperature environment with 1/f1/f spectral density. It is found that the phenomenon of sudden transition between classical and quantum decoherence exists in the system when two qubits are initially prepared in X-type quantum states, and the transition time depends on the initial-state of two qubits, the qubit–environment coupling constant and the temperature of the environment. Furthermore, we explore the influence of dynamical decoupling pulses on the transition time and show that it can be prolonged by applying the dynamical decoupling pulses.  相似文献

We propose a theoretical scheme to generate a controllable and switchable coupling between two double-quantum-dot (DQD) spin qubits by using a transmission line resonator (TLR) as a bus system. We study dynamical behaviors of quantum correlations described by entanglement correlation (EC) and discord correlation (DC) between two DQD spin qubits when the two spin qubits and the TLR are initially prepared in X-type quantum states and a coherent state, respectively. We demonstrate that in the EC death regions there exist DC stationary states in which the stable DC amplification or degradation can be generated during the dynamical evolution. It is shown that these DC stationary states can be controlled by initial-state parameters, the coupling, and detuning between qubits and the TLR. We reveal the full synchronization and anti-synchronization phenomena in the EC and DC time evolution, and show that the EC and DC synchronization and anti-synchronization depends on the initial-state parameters of the two DQD spin qubits. It is shown that the initial quantum correlation may be suppressed completely when the evolution time approaches to the infinity in the presence of dissipation. These results shed new light on dynamics of quantum correlations.  相似文献

By making use of the dynamical algebraic method we investigate a quantum system consisting of superconducting qubits interacting with data buses, where the qubits are driven by time-dependent electromagnetic field and obtain an explicit expression of time evolution operator. Furthermore, we explore the entanglement dynamics and the influence of the time-dependent electromagnetic field and the initial state on the entanglement sudden death and birth for the system. It is shown that the entanglement between the qubit and bus as well as the entanglement sudden death and birth can be controlled by the time-dependent electromagnetic field.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed where two superconducting qubits driven by a classical field interacting separately with two distant LC circuits connected by another LC circuit through mutual inductance, are used for implementing quantum gates.By using dressed states, quantum state transfer and quantum entangling gate can be implemented. With the help of the time-dependent electromagnetic field, any two dressed qubits can be selectively coupled to the data bus (the last LC circuit),then quantum state can be transferred from one dressed qubit to another and multi-mode entangled state can also be formed. As a result, the promising perspectives for quantum information processing of mesoscopic superconducting qubits are obtained and the distributed and scalable quantum computation can be implemented in this scheme.  相似文献

Nonadiabatic geometric quantum computation protected by dynamical decoupling combines the robustness of nonadiabatic geometric gates and the decoherence-resilience feature of dynamical decoupling. Solid-state systems provide an appealing candidate for the realization of nonadiabatic geometric quantum computation protected dynamical decoupling since the solid-state qubits are easily embedded in electronic circuits and scaled up to large registers. In this paper, we put forward a scheme of nonadiabatic geometric quantum computation protected by dynamical decoupling via the XXZ Hamiltonian, which not only combines the merits of nonadiabatic geometric gates and dynamical decoupling but also can be realized in a number of solid-state systems, such as superconducting circuits and quantum dots.  相似文献

We propose computing bus devices that enable quantum information to be coherently transferred between topological and conventional qubits. We describe a concrete realization of such a topological quantum bus acting between a topological qubit in a Majorana wire network and a conventional semiconductor double quantum dot qubit. Specifically, this device measures the joint (fermion) parity of these two different qubits by using the Aharonov-Casher effect in conjunction with an ancilliary superconducting flux qubit that facilitates the measurement. Such a parity measurement, together with the ability to apply Hadamard gates to the two qubits, allows one to produce states in which the topological and conventional qubits are maximally entangled and to teleport quantum states between the topological and conventional quantum systems.  相似文献

We propose a feasible scheme to transfer quantum information with Cooper-pair box qubits arrayed in a circuit QED. Qubits interact with a quantum data bus generated by a one-dimensional transmission line resonator. Based on the Raman adiabatic passage, the cavity bus-assisted quantum population transfer between any selected pair of qubits can be controlled by addressing the applied gate pulses. Therefore, the scheme provides the possibility for effectively implementing scalable quantum information transfer with Josephson devices.  相似文献

Various physical systems were proposed for quantum information processing. Among those nanoscale devices appear most promising for integration in electronic circuits and large-scale applications. We discuss Josephson junction circuits in two regimes where they can be used for quantum computing. These systems combine intrinsic coherence of the superconducting state with control possibilities of single-charge circuits. In the regime where the typical charging energy dominates over the Josephson coupling, the low-temperature dynamics is limited to two states differing by a Cooper-pair charge on a superconducting island. In the opposite regime of prevailing Josephson energy, the phase (or flux) degree of freedom can be used to store and process quantum information. Under suitable conditions the system reduces to two states with different flux configurations. Several qubits can be joined together into a register. The quantum state of a qubit register can be manipulated by voltage and magnetic field pulses. The qubits are inevitably coupled to the environment. However, estimates of the phase coherence time show that many elementary quantum logic operations can be performed before the phase coherence is lost. In addition to manipulations, the final state of the qubits has to be read out. This quantum measurement process can be accomplished using a single-electron transistor for charge Josephson qubits, and a d.c.-SQUID for flux qubits. Recent successful experiments with superconducting qubits demonstrate for the first time quantum coherence in macroscopic systems.  相似文献

Transferring entangled states between matter qubits and microwave-field (or optical-field) qubits is of fundamental interest in quantum mechanics and necessary in hybrid quantum information processing and quantum communication. We here propose a way for transferring entangled states between superconducting qubits (matter qubits) and microwave-field qubits. This proposal is realized by a system consisting of multiple superconducting qutrits and microwave cavities. Here, „qutrit” refers to a three-level quantum system with the two lowest levels encoding a qubit while the third level acting as an auxiliary state. In contrast, the microwave-field qubits are encoded with coherent states of microwave cavities. Because the third energy level of each qutrit is not populated during the operation, decoherence from the higher energy levels is greatly suppressed. The entangled states can be deterministically transferred because measurement on the states is not needed. The operation time is independent of the number of superconducting qubits or microwave-field qubits. In addition, the architecture of the circuit system is quite simple because only a coupler qutrit and an auxiliary cavity are required. As an example, our numerical simulations show that high-fidelity transfer of entangled states from two superconducting qubits to two microwave-field qubits is feasible with present circuit QED technology. This proposal is quite general and can be extended to transfer entangled states between other matter qubits (e.g., atoms, quantum dots, and NV centers) and microwave- or optical-field qubits encoded with coherent states.  相似文献

Quantum state transfer (QST) and entangled state generation (ESG) are important building blocks for modern quantum information processing. To achieve these tasks, convention wisdom is to consult the quantum adiabatic evolution, which is time-consuming, and thus is of low fidelity. Here, using the shortcut to adiabaticity technique, we propose a general method to realize high-fidelity fast QST and ESG in a cavity-coupled many qubits system via its dark pathways, which can be further designed for high-fidelity quantum tasks with different optimization purpose. Specifically, with a proper dark pathway, QST and ESG between any two qubits can be achieved without decoupling the others, which simplifies experimental demonstrations. Meanwhile, ESG among all qubits can also be realized in a single step. In addition, our scheme can be implemented in many quantum systems, and we illustrate its implementation on superconducting quantum circuits. Therefore, we propose a powerful strategy for selective quantum manipulation, which is promising in cavity coupled quantum systems and could find many convenient applications in quantum information processing.  相似文献

By using geometric quantum discord and measurement-induced nonlocality, quantum correlations are investigated for two superconducting (SC) charge qubits that share a large Josephson junction where the field is assumed to be prepared initially in a coherent state. It is found that the difference between measure measurement-induced nonlocality and geometric quantum discord, of the final state of the two SC-charge qubits system which is especial case of X-states, is equal to a constant value. It is found that the quantum correlations and entanglement of the qubits are very sensitive to the mean number of the coherent photons. The entanglement exists in small intervals of death quantum discord and measurement-induced nonlocality. This is further evidence in support of the fact that quantum correlation and entanglement are not synonymous.  相似文献

Optimal two-qubit operation is of significance to quantum information processing. An efficient scheme is proposed for realizing the shortcut to adiabatic two-qubit state swap in a superconducting circuit quantum electrodynamics (QED) via effective drivings. Two superconducting qutrits are coupled to a common cavity field and individual classical drivings. Based on two Gaussian-type Rabi drivings, two-qubit state swap can be adiabatically implemented within a reduced three-state system. To speed up the operation, these two original Rabi drivings are modified in the framework of shortcuts to adiabaticity, instead of adding an extra counterdiabatic driving. Moreover, owing to a shorter duration time, the decoherence effects on the accelerated quantum operation can be mitigated significantly. The strategy could offer an optimized method to construct fast and robust quantum operations on superconducting qubits experimentally.

The paper investigates the dynamic evolution behaviors of entanglement and quantum discord of coupled superconducting qubits in circuit QED system. We put emphasis on the effects of cavity field quantum state on quantum entanglement and quantum correlations dynamic behaviors of coupling superconducting qubits. The results show that, (1) generally speaking, the entanglement will appear the death and new birth because of the interaction between qubits and cavity field, on the contrary, this phenomenon will not appear in quantum discord. (2) When the cavity field is in coherent state, the entanglement survival time is controlled by the average photon number. The more the average photon number is, the longer survival time of entanglement is prolonged. Thus it has the benefit of keeping quantum correlations. (3) When the cavity field is in squeezed state, the squeezed amplitude parameters have controlling effects on quantum correlations including entanglement and quantum discord. On the one hand, the increase of squeezed amplitude parameters can prolong the survival time of entanglement, on the other hand, with the increase of squeezed amplitude parameters, the robustness of quantum discord is more and more superior to concurrence and is more advantage to keep the system quantum correlations. The further study results show that the increase of the initial relative phase of coupling superconducting qubits can also keep the quantum correlations.  相似文献

Several quantum-mechanical correlations, notably, quantum entanglement, measurement-induced nonlocality and Bell nonlocality are studied for a two qubit-system having no mutual interaction. Analytical expressions for the measures of these quantum-mechanical correlations of different bipartite partitions of the system are obtained, for initially two entangled qubits and the two photons are in their vacuum states. It is found that the qubits-fields interaction leads to the loss and gain of the initial quantum correlations. The lost initial quantum correlations transfer from the qubits to the cavity fields. It is found that the maximal violation of Bell’s inequality is occurring when the quantum correlations of both the logarithmic negativity and measurement-induced nonlocality reach particular values. The maximal violation of Bell’s inequality occurs only for certain bipartite partitions of the system. The frequency detuning leads to quick oscillations of the quantum correlations and inhibits their transfer from the qubits to the cavity modes. It is also found that the dynamical behavior of the quantum correlation clearly depends on the qubit distribution angle.  相似文献

We theoretically present a scheme to realize the scalable geometric quantum computing with Cooper-pair box (CPB) qubits in circuit QED. A one-dimensional transmission line resonator in circuit QED acting as quantum data bus generates a common cavity mode and interacts with each CPB. It is found that the interqubit couplings between any pair of qubits are switchable by individually adjusting the gate pulses applied to the selected CPBs. In this proposed scheme, we can both controllably and selectively address logic gates in geometric scenarios, which opens the possibility to implement the scalable fault-tolerant quantum computing with Josephson qubits.  相似文献

This study examines the possibility of finding perfect entanglers for a Hamiltonian which corresponds to several quantum information platforms of interest at the present time. However, in this study, a superconducting circuit is used that stands out from other quantum-computing devices, especially because transmon qubits can be coupled via capacitors or microwave cavities, which enables to combine high coherence, fast gates, and high flexibility in its design parameters. There are currently two factors limiting the performance of superconducting processors: timing mismatch and the limitation of entangling gates to two qubits. In this work, a two-qubit SWAP and a three-qubit Fredkin gate is presented, additionally, a perfect adiabatic entanglement generation between two and three programmable superconducting qubits is also demonstrated. Furthermore, the impact of random dephasing, emission, and absorption noises on the quantum gates and entanglement is also demonstrated in this study. It is demonstrated by numerical simulation that CSWAP gate and W-state generation can be achieved perfectly in one step with high reliability under weak coupling conditions. Hence, this scheme could contribute to quantum teleportation, quantum communication, and some other areas of quantum information processing.  相似文献

We propose to implement a quantum switch scheme for coupling highly detuned superconducting qubits connected by a gap-tunable bridge qubit. By modulating the frequency of the bridge qubit, it can be used as a coupler to switch on/off and adjust the coupling strength between the initially non-interaction qubits. It is shown that the proposals of quantum information transfer and quantum entangled gate between two highly detuned qubits can be implemented with high fidelity. Moreover, we extend the case of coupling the switch to multiple qubits for the generation of W states. The advantages of our scheme are that it eliminates the need for tuning the gaps of the qubits and the cross-talk interaction is greatly suppressed. The influence of decoherence and parameter variation is also investigated by numerical simulation, which suggests that the present scheme is feasible in current experiment.  相似文献

We analytically study the dynamical behavior of the quantum coherence of a single-qubit coupled to a bosonic reservoir at zero temperature via plugging additional non-interacting qubits into the reservoir in both Markovian and non-Markovian regimes. The influences of detuning, memory effects and number of additional qubits on the dynamics of the quantum coherence are considered. It is found that, via increasing the number of the additional qubits in the reservoir, the quantum coherence can be preserved. Moreover, the method based on the combination of larger effective detuning, the stronger non-Markovian effects and the more number of additional qubits, can more effectively prevent the loss of the quantum coherence.

We theoretically investigate the generation of quantum correlations by using two distant qubits in free space or mediated by a plasmonic nanostructure. We report both entanglement of formation as well as quantum discord and classical correlations. We have found that for proper initial state of the two-qubit system and distance between the two qubits we can produce quantum correlations taking significant value for a relatively large time interval so that it can be useful in quantum information and computation processes.  相似文献
