Cyclic voltammetry and controlled-potential electrolyses were carried out on solutions of 1,2-naphthoquinone (1,2-NQ), 1,2-dihydroxynaphthalene [1,2-Di(OH)-Cat] and their reduction and oxidation products in dimethyl sulfoxide. A study of the interaction of these species with MnII and MnIII has been undertaken. The complexes MnIII(Cat2–)33–, MnII(Cat2–)22– and MnII-(Cat2–), where Cat2– represents the dianion of 1,2-dihydroxynaphthalene, were obtained in solution and the species MnIISQ has been detected only on the surface of the electrode. An attempt to obtain the latter complex quantitatively caused intramolecular charge-transfer yielding the more stable MnIII-catechol complex. The MnIII–semiquinone complex is unstable and the ligand is easily oxidized. The charge-transfer reaction between MnIII(Cat2–)33– and MnII(Cat2–)22– is observed at –0.54/–0.52 V versus s.c.e. whereas the MnII complexes are reduced beyond the electrochemical window (at a potential more negative than –2.00 V versus s.c.e). On the other hand, all these species are destroyed when the coordinated ligand is oxidized. U.v.-vis. spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements were performed on the compounds in solution in order to characterize and to confirm the oxidation states of the metal ion in the species.  相似文献

The 1,2-bis(chlorogermyl)- (1) and 1,2-bis(bromostannyl)carborane (2) have been prepared by the reaction of dilithio-o-carborane with Me(2)GeCl(2) and Me(2)SnBr(2), respectively. Compounds 1 and 2 are found to be good precursors for the synthesis of a variety of cyclization compounds. The Wurtz-type coupling reaction of 1 and 2 using sodium metal afforded the four-membered digerma compound 3 and five-membered tristanna compound 4, respectively. The salt elimination reactions of 1 and 2 using Li(2)N(t)Bu and Li(2)PC(6)H(5) afforded the cyclic products [structure: see text]. The 1,2-bis(dimethylgermyl)carborane 9 and 1,2-bis(dimethylstannyl)carborane 10 were prepared by the reaction of 1 and 2 with sodium cyanoborohydride. The reactions of 9 and 10 with Pd(PPh(3))(4) afforded the bis(germyl)palladium 12 and bis(stannyl)palladium 13 complexes, respectively.  相似文献

Cyclic bis(amido)tin(II) compounds 1,2- [R = SiMe3] ( 4 ), SiMe2But ( 5 ) and CH2But ( 6 )], as well as ( 4 )2(μ-tmeda) 7 have been obtained either from (i) the corresponding dilithium compound 1,2-C6H4[N(R)Li]2 1–3 and SnCl2 for 4–6 , respectively, (or for 4 ) 2 1 + [Sn(μ-Cl){N(SiMe3)2}]2; or (ii) 1,2-C6H4[N(H)R]2 + Sn[N(SiMe3)2]2 for 4–6 ; or for 7 from 4 and tmeda. Compounds 4–6 are monomeric, yellow, thermochromic (becoming redder on heating), diamagnetic, crystalline and are lipophilic and sublimable in vacuo. Compound 7 is colourless. The molecular structures of 6 and 7 have been determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data. Compound 6 crystallises in bimolecular aggregates, in which there is a weak η-C6 … Sn contact.  相似文献

Synthesis, Crystal Structure, and Magnetic Properties of Bis(1,2-benzoquinonediimide)-1,2-benzosemiquinonediimidocobalt (II)-tetraphenylborate-pentahydrate Co (II)-salts catalyze the autoxidation of 1,2-diaminobenzene in slightly alkaline solution. Deeply coloured metal complexes are formed during the reaction suggesting intermediate radical or semiquinonediimide stages of the aromatic ligands. Starting from [CoII (1,2-diaminobenzene)3] (ClO4)2 two different intermediate complexes can be isolated, the magnetic properties of which point to a high-spin cobalt (II)-complex and a low-spin cobalt (II)-complex with a radical ligand respectively. The X-ray structure determination of the latter complex yielded a square pyramidal arrangement, the Co-N4-plane distance being only 0.5 Å. The dark blue coloured complex is diamagnetic. Two of the aromatic ligands have the oxidation state of a benzoquinonediimide while the third, coordinated by one amino group only, is pseudosemiquinonoid. Crystals of C42H48BCoN6O5 are monoclinic, a = 14.493 (5), b = 18.341 (7), c = 15.492 (5) Å, β = 99.198 (5), space group P21/n. Dobs. = 1.290, Dcalc. = 1.289 g/cm3 for Z = 4. The structure was solved by Patterson's method and refined by least-squares techniques to R = 0.088 for 2866 of 5014 independent reflexions.  相似文献

A spectroscopic study of the photo-oxidation of poly(propylene-1,2-maleate), poly(propylene-1,2-o-phthalate) and poly(propylene-1,2-maleate-o-phthalate) under 280–480 nm radiation was investigated in detail. Results obtained indicate that, during photolysis of these polyesters, the primary photoreactions involve excitation of conjugated structures: carbonyl groups (in ester groups)—double bonds or carbonyl groups-phenylene rings. The secondary reactions occur by complicated mechanisms resulting in oxidation, scission, radical termination and cross-linking of structures present in the photolysed polyesters. Light of wavelength 280–480 nm causes deterioration in the polyesters in the early stages of irradiation. Singlet oxygen does not react with these polyesters even during long periods of exposure. Photo-oxidation mechanism occurs by free radical mechanism.  相似文献

The novel bisstannane (E)-(1,2-difluoro-1,2-ethenediyl) bis[tributylstannane] 2 was stereoselectively prepared in a high overall yield through a sequential synthetic route from chlorotrifluoroethylene 1. The synthetic application of this novel bisstannane 2 was exemplified in the Pd(PPh3)4/CuI-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions with aryl iodides, yielding (E)-1,2-difluorostilbenes 3 in moderate to high yields.  相似文献
