A diode-pumped Q-switched and mode-locked (QML) Nd:LuVO4/KTP green laser with acousto-optic modulator (AOM) and Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber is presented. By inserting an AOM into the laser cavity, the stability of the QML green laser pulse with AO and Cr4+:YAG is improved, the modulation depth is increased and the pulse width of Q-switched pulse envelope is significantly compressed in comparison with that of the singly passively QML green laser with Cr4+:YAG. The experimental results show that the peak power of the doubly QML green laser pulse is much higher than that of the singly passively QML green laser pulse.  相似文献

对脉冲抽运与增益预抽运的微腔Cr4+:YAG/Nd:YAG被动调Q激光器的稳定性进行了理论和实验研究。结果表明在抽运时抽运脉宽和重复率较大的情况下,输出激光脉冲相对于抽运脉冲抖动范围明显加大。针对此情况,采用压缩抽运脉宽和降低重复率的方法获得了波长为1.06 μm、脉宽为3.8 ns、单脉冲能量为65 μJ、相对抽运脉冲的抖动范围小于0.8 μs的激光输出。同时分析了增益预抽运的优势和缺点。  相似文献

A diode pumped Nd:Y0.5Lu0.5VO4 pulse laser modulated with an acousto-optic (AO) Q-switcher and Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber is first demonstrated in this paper. The laser is shown to generate shorter pulse width than AO Q-switched laser alone, and have a higher peak power and single pulse energy than passively Q-switched laser with only Cr4+:YAG. A laser pulse width of 6.16 ns and a peak power of about 43.83 kW are achieved at the incident pumping power of 14.09 W.  相似文献

用脉冲激光二极管阵列(LDA)作为泵浦源、微柱透镜阵列和透镜导管作为耦合系统,以As+注入GaAs可饱和吸收片作为被动调Q锁模元件,实现了Nd∶YVO4激光器调Q锁模运转.调Q运转阶段,激光器每泵浦脉宽内输出一个调Q脉冲,调Q脉宽7ns.调Q锁模运转阶段,初始透过率60%的GaAs晶片对调Q包络内的锁模脉冲的调制深度达到95%以上,锁模脉冲重复频率991 MHz.研究了加在LDA上的电压、方波脉冲的脉宽和重复频率对调Q锁模脉冲特性的影响,并对实验结果进行了讨论.  相似文献

利用固体可饱和吸收体砷化镓(GaAs)作为被动调Q元件,实现了激光二极管抽运平-凹腔掺钕钒酸钇(Nd:YVO4)激光调Q运转,详细测量了砷化镓被动调QNd:YVO4激光输出特性,获得脉宽15ns,重复频率470kHz,光束质量M^2=1.31的激光输出,调Q激光运转阈值为500mW,并数值求解了砷化镓被动调Q速率方程,讨论了被动调Q机理以及调Q脉冲宽度和脉冲重复频率对抽运速率的依赖关系,理论计算结果与实验结果相一致。  相似文献

We present a simple technique to improve the symmetry of pulse emitted by doubly passively Q-switched lasers. Using both Cr4+:YAG and GaAs saturable absorbers in the same cavity, a diode-pumped doubly passively Q-switched Nd:YVO4 laser is realized for the fist time. This laser can generate more symmetric pulse with shorter pulse width and higher peak power compared with the solely passively Q-switched laser with Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber or GaAs coupler. The pulse symmetry factor ε of such a doubly passively Q-switched laser is experimentally shown to reach 1.05. Simulations by a rate-equation model for doubly passively Q-switched laser are in close agreement with the experimental results.PACS 42.55.Xi; 42.55.Rz; 42.60.Gd  相似文献

A diode-pumped passively Q-switched Nd:Lu0.15Y0.85VO4 laser with a GaAs output coupler is demonstrated. By using a mixed crystal Nd:Lu0.15Y0.85VO4 as laser medium, the passively Q-switched laser can generate shorter pulse width with higher peak power in comparison with the passively Q-switched Nd:LuVO4 or Nd:YVO4 lasers under the same laser cavity. At the incident pump power 11.9 W, the minimum pulse width of 3.23 ns and the maximum peak power 1.67 kW can be obtained. The average output power and the pulse repetition rate of the laser are also measured. The experimental results show that the mixed crystal is a promising laser medium for shorter Q-switched pulse with higher peak power.  相似文献

Diode-pumped acousto-optic Q-switched pulse laser at 1.5-1.6 μm is obtained in an Er3+:Yb3+:LuAl3 (BO3)4 crystal. Single-pulse laser operation with slope efficiency of 14% and threshold of approximately 100 mW is realized at an average absorbed pump power of 314 mW and repetition frequency of 20 kHz. Output pulse energy is 67 μJ. The effects of pulse repetition frequency, absorbed pump power, and duty cycle on the wavelength and pulse profile of the Q-switched Er3+:Yb3+:LuAl3(BO3)4 laser are also investigated.  相似文献

By considering the influence of the acousto-optic (AO) modulator and the nonlinear loss due to harmonic conversion in the intra-cavity frequency-doubling laser, a developed rate equation model for diode-pumped dual-loss-modulated Q-switched and mode-locked (QML) Nd:LuVO4/KTP green laser with acousto-optic (AO) modulator and Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber is presented. With this developed model, the pulse width, single-pulse energy and the other dual-loss-modulated QML green laser characteristics are numerically simulated. The simulation results show that the turnoff time is of great importance for the pulse energy and pulse width of the Q-switched pulse. A diode-pumped dual-loss-modulated QML Nd:LuVO4/KTP laser is constructed to successfully demonstrate the numerical simulation application.  相似文献

采用高功率YAG激光焊接机对高性能三代像管管壳后端(4J34可伐合金)与荧光屏屏环(4J49可伐合金)进行封接试验。研究了激光功率、脉冲宽度对焊接接头成型及表面热扩散的影响规律。研究表明:4J34合金与4J49合金表面成型质量在设备最大工作电流100 A,激光功率195 W及脉宽1.7 ms时最好,相对于激光功率,脉冲宽度对焊缝熔宽和熔深的影响更加显著,接头焊接中心区硬化最为严重,其硬度最大,热影响区次之。  相似文献

By using both acousto-optic (AO) modulator and GaAs saturable absorber, a diode-pumped doubly Q-switched and mode-locked (QML) YVO4/Nd:YVO4 laser is presented. The average output power and the pulse width of the Q-switched envelope have been measured. The Q-switch pulse energy of the doubly QML laser are higher than that only with GaAs. The stability of the QML laser with the dual-loss-modulation is significantly improved if compared to that only with GaAs.The experimental results show that the doubly QML YVO4/Nd:YVO4 laser has nearly 80% modulation depth and deeper than that of the singly passively QML pulse. The doubly Q-switched mode-locked pulse inside the Q-switched envelope has a repetition rate of 111 MHz and its pulse width is estimated to be about 700 ps. By using a hyperbolic secant square function and considering the Gaussian distribution of the intracavity photon density, the coupled equations for diode-pumped dual-loss-modulated QML laser is given and the numerical solutions of the equations are in good agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献

A stable AO Q-switched Nd:YVO4 laser using diode-end-pumped structure is presented. By optimizing laser crystal, pumping laser and controlling electric parameters to eliminate thermal lens difference, this AO Q-switched laser can reach 1.3 MHz repetition rate and achieve stable pulse in large range from 10 kHz continuously to 1.3 MHz. The important relationship between repetition rate and electric parameters, including pumping current, duty cycle of electric pulse, are also presented. Output average power and pulse width at 1.3 MHz are 4 W and 35 ns, respectively.  相似文献

运用速率方程计算了Cr^4+:YAG晶体的可饱和吸收特性参数,包括初始吸收系数,饱和吸收系数,饱和光强和损耗调制度,用Cr^4+:YAG对脉冲和连续Nd:YAG激光器进行了被动调Q,在脉冲Nd:YAG激光器上得到了8ns的调Q激光脉冲,在连续Nd:YAG激光器的调Q中得到了间隔和幅度抖动小于5%的输出脉冲充列。  相似文献

We report a cavity-dumped mode-locked Nd:GdVO4 laser with semiconductor saturable absorber mirrors at low repetition rate. In this laser system, a single mode-locked laser pulse is generated, amplified and cavity-dumped by means of electro-optic modulator at 1 to 10 Hz repetition rate. The energy of the pulse is about 150 nJ and the pulse duration is determined to be 10 ps.  相似文献

对激光二极管端面泵浦Cr4+∶YAG被动调Q Nd∶YAG激光器输出特性进行了实验研究.实验研究发现,激光器输出功率及脉冲重复频率随谐振腔长度增大而增大.为解释这一实验现象,测量了泵浦光斑在激光晶体内尺寸,同时计算了激光晶体及Cr4+∶YAG晶体内的基模激光光斑半径随谐振腔长度变化.分析结果表明:激光晶体内泵浦光斑尺寸远小于激光晶体内基模光斑半径,腔模间交叠效率较低;当腔长增加时,激光晶体内的基模激光光斑减小,腔模间交叠效率增加,从而导致输出功率及脉冲重复频率随腔长增加而增加;另外,Cr4+∶YAG晶体内光斑半径也随谐振腔长度减小,引起Cr4+∶YAG晶体漂白时间缩短,导致脉冲重复频率随腔长增加而增加.  相似文献

By considering the Gaussian transversal and longitudinal distributions of the intracavity photon density as well as the walk-off effect of KTP crystal, the coupled rate equations of the doubly Q-switched intracavity-frequency-doubling Nd:LuVO4/KTP green laser with acoustic-optic (AO) modulator and GaAs saturable absorber are given. These equations are solved numerically and the doubly Q-switched green laser characteristics, such as the pulse width and the pulse symmetry, have been obtained. In the experiment, a diode-pumped doubly Q-switched intracavity-frequency-doubling Nd:LuVO4/KTP green laser with AO and GaAs is presented. This doubly Q-switched green laser can generate the almost absolutely symmetric pulse profile with the shorter pulse width and the higher power than the singly Q-switched green laser. The experimental results are in agreement with the theoretically numerical calculations.  相似文献
