Two new compounds, (2S,3R)-methyl 7-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-phenyl)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-5-carboxylate (1) and (4R,5S)-5-(3-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylphenyl)-4-isopropyldihydrofuran-2-one (2), tentatively named norcurlignan and limlactone, respectively, were isolated from Liriope muscari, together with the known compound (-)-pinoresinol (3). The structures of these compounds were elucidated and characterized on the basis of 1D NMR, 2D NMR, CD and MS data. The in vitro antioxidant activities of compounds 1-3 were assessed by the DPPH and ABTS scavenging methods.  相似文献

Two new alkaloids, aconicarmine (1) and aconicaramide (5), were isolated from the EtOH extract of the lateral roots of Aconitum carmichaelii, together with five known compounds: fuziline (2), neoline (3), N-ethylhokbusine B (4), 5-hydroxymethylpyrrole-2-carbaldehyde (6), and oleracein E (7). Their structures were elucidated by physical and NMR analysis. Pyrrole alkaloids were isolated from A. carmichaelii for the first time. In the in vitro assays, compounds 2 and 3 showed activity against pentobarbital sodium-induced cardiomyocytes damage by obviously recovering beating rhythm and increasing the cell viability, while compounds 5 and 7 showed moderate antibacterial activity.  相似文献

The hydroalcoholic extract of the steam bark of B. fagaroides var. fagaroides displayed potent cytotoxic activity against four cancer cell lines, namely KB (ED50 = 9.6 × 10-2 μg/mL), PC-3 (ED50 = 2.5 × 10-1 μg/mL), MCF-7 (ED50 = 6.6 μg/mL), and HF-6 (ED50 = 7.1 × 10-3 μg/mL). This extract also showed anti-tumour activity when assayed on mice inoculated with L5178Y lymphoma cells. Bioactivity-directed isolation of this extract, afforded seven podophyllotoxin-type lignans identified as podophyllotoxin (1), β-peltatin-A-methylether (2), 5'-desmethoxy-β-peltatin-A-methylether (3), desmethoxy-yatein (4), desoxypodophyllotoxin (5), burseranin (6), and acetyl podophyllotoxin (7) by 1D and 2DNMR and FAB-MS analyses, and comparison with reported values. All the isolated compounds showed potent cytotoxic activity in the cell lines tested, especially compound 3, which exhibited greater activity than camptothecin and podophyllotoxin against PC-3 (ED50 = 1.0 × 10-5 μg/mL), and KB (ED50 = 1.0 × 10-5 μg/mL). This is the first report of the isolation of podophyllotoxin and its acetate in a Bursera species.  相似文献

O. fragrans has slightly less antioxidative activity than green tea. Five phenolic compounds, tyrosyl acetate (1), (+)-phillygenin (2), (8E)-ligustroside (3), rutin (4), and verbascoside (5), were isolated from the CHCl3 sub-extract of O. fragrans. The structures were elucidated by interpreting their spectral data. Evaluation of the antioxidative property of the isolated (+)-phillygenin (2), rutin (4), and verbascoside (5) revealed strong DPPH radical scavenging activity, with IC50 values of 19.1, 10.3, and 6.2 μM, respectively. These isolates also exhibited an H2O2 scavenging ability, with IC50 values of 10.5, 23.4, and 13.4 μM, respectively.  相似文献

Symmetric and non-symmetric 2-(N-H, N-methyl, N-ethylenyl and N-aryl)guanidinebenzothiazoles were synthesized from the reaction of ammonia, methylamine, pyrrolidine and aniline with dimethyl benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl-carbono-dithioimidate (5) as intermediate. The products were characterized by 1H-, 13C-NMR spectroscopy and three of them by X-ray diffraction analysis. HN-phenyl protons formed intramolecular hydrogen bonds that assist the stereochemistry of the second substituent, whereas the HN-alkyl protons were involved in intermolecular hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

Rhizophora apiculata (R. apiculata) contains an abundance of biologically active compounds due its special salt-tolerant living surroundings. In this study, the total phenolic content and antioxidant activities of various extract and fractions of stem of R. apiculata were investigated. Results indicated that butanol fraction possesses the highest total phenolic content (181.84 mg/g GAE/g dry extract) with strongest antioxidant abilities. Following in vitro antioxidant activity-guided phytochemical separation procedures, lyoniresinol-3α-O-β-arabinopyranoside (1), lyoniresinol-3α-O-β-rhamnoside (2), and afzelechin-3-O-L-rhamno-pyranoside (3) were separated from the butanol fraction. These compounds showed more noticeable antioxidant activity than a BHT standard in the DPPH, ABTS and hydroxyl radical scavenging assays. HPLC analysis results showed that among different plant parts, the highest content of 1-3 was located in the bark (0.068%, 0.066% and 0.011%, respectively). The results imply that the R. apiculata might be a potential source of natural antioxidants and 1-3 are antioxidant ingredients in R. apiculata.  相似文献

A new series of 1,4-disubstituted 3-methylpyrazol-5(4H)-one derivatives were synthesized by reacting various substituted aromatic aldehydes with 3-methylpyrazol-5(4H)-one derivatives through Knoevenagel condensation by conventional as well as by exposure to microwave irradiations. After that newly synthesized compounds of 1,4-disubstituted 3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-ol were prepared from these derivatives by reduction reaction of sodium borohydride at 0–5 °C. Sixty-four heterocyclic compounds containing a pyrazole moiety were synthesized with good to excellent yields (51 to 91%). Compounds (3d, 3m, 4a, 4b, 4d, and 4g) showed potent antibacterial activity against MSSA (Methicillin-susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus) and MRSA (Methicillin-resistant strains of Staphylococcus aureus) with MIC (the minimum inhibitory concentration) ranging between 4 and 16 µg/mL as compared to ciprofloxacin (MIC = 8–16 µg/mL). Compounds (4a, 4h, 4i, and 4l) showed potent antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger with MIC ranging between 16 and 32 µg/mL as compared to fluconazole (MIC = 128 µg/mL). In particular, compound 4a exhibited the strongest activity among the synthesized compounds in both bacterial and fungal strains with MIC ranging between 4 and 16 µg/mL. Furthermore, the nine most active compounds showed a good ADMET (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity) profile in comparison to ciprofloxacin and fluconazole as reference drugs. Molecular docking predicted that DHFR (dihydrofolate reductase) protein from Staphylococcus aureus and NMT (N-myristoyl transferase) protein from Candida albicans are the most suitable targets for the antimicrobial activities of these potent compounds.  相似文献

The aim of the work is synthesis of some novel azo dye from 1,2-dihydro-4-hydroxy-2-oxoquinoline-6-sulfonic acid (3), 4-hydroxy-6-methoxyquinolin-2(1H)-one (4), and 4-hydroxy-6-nitroquinolin-2(1H)-one (5). The prepared compounds were screened for antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and antifungal activity against Candida sp., Aspergillus multi and Aspergillus niger. Three new myrsinol diterpenes were isolated from the roots of Euphorbia prolifera. Their structures were elucidated as 2α-O-isobutyryl-3β,5α,7β,10,15β-penta-O-acetyl-14α-O-benzoyl-10,18-dihydromyrsinol (1), 2α-O-isobutyryl-3β-O-propion-yl-5α,7β,10,15β-tetra-O-acetyl-10,18-dihydromyrsinol (2), and 2α,14α-di-O-benzoyl-3β,5α,7β,10,15β-penta-O-acetyl-10,18-dihydromyrsinol (3) on the basis of spectroscopic data analyses (IR, ESI-MS, HR-ESI-MS, and 1D and 2D NMR). Their neuroprotective activities were evaluated and compounds 1 and 2 showed neuroprotective effects against MPP+-induced neuronal cell death in SH-SY5Y cells.  相似文献

In our search for environmentally benign insecticides with high activity, low toxicity and low residue, a novel series of amides containing N-pyridylpyrazole moieties were designed and synthesized. The structures of the title compounds were characterized and confirmed by 1H-NMR and elemental analysis. Furthermore, the structure of compound 7l was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The preliminary bioassay tests showed that some of them exhibited good insecticidal activities against Mythimna separata Walker, Plutella xylostella (Linnaeus, 1758) and Laphygma exigua Hübner.  相似文献

An investigation on biologically active secondary metabolites from the stem bark of Mesua beccariana was carried out. A new cyclodione, mesuadione (1), along with several known constituents which are beccamarin (2), 2,5-dihydroxy-1,3,4-trimethoxy anthraquinone (3), 4-methoxy-1,3,5-trihydroxyanthraquinone (4), betulinic acid (5) and stigmasterol (6) were obtained from this ongoing research. Structures of these compounds were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods, including 1D and 2D-NMR, GC-MS, IR and UV techniques. Preliminary tests of the in vitro cytotoxic activities of all the isolated metabolites against a panel of human cancer cell lines Raji (lymphoma), SNU-1 (gastric carcinoma), K562 (erythroleukemia cells), LS-174T (colorectal adenocarcinoma), HeLa (cervical cells), SK-MEL-28 (malignant melanoma cells), NCI-H23 (lung adenocarcinoma), IMR-32 (neuroblastoma) and Hep-G2 (hepatocellular liver carcinoma) were carried out using an MTT assay. Mesuadione (1), beccamarin (2), betulinic acid (5) and stigmasterol (6) displayed strong inhibition of Raji cell proliferation, while the proliferation rate of SK-MEL-28 and HeLa were strongly inhibited by stigmasterol (6) and beccamarin (2), indicating these secondary metabolites could be anti-cancer lead compounds in drug discovery.  相似文献

Commercial plant essential oils obtained from 11 Myrtaceae plant species were tested for their fumigant antifungal activity against Aspergillus ochraceus, A. flavus, and A. niger. Essential oils extracted from Leptospermum petersonii at air concentrations of 56 × 10-3 mg/mL and 28 × 10-3 mg/mL completely inhibited the growth of the three Aspergillus species. However, at an air concentration of 14 × 10-3 mg/mL, inhibition rates of L. petersonii essential oils were reduced to 20.2% and 18.8% in the case of A. flavus and A. niger, respectively. The other Myrtaceae essential oils (56 × 10-3 mg/mL) only weakly inhibited the fungi or had no detectable affect. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis identified 16 compounds in L. petersonii essential oil. The antifungal activity of the identified compounds was tested individually by using standard or synthesized compounds. Of these, neral and geranial inhibited growth by 100%, at an air concentration of 56 × 10-3 mg/mL, whereas the activity of citronellol was somewhat lover (80%). The other compounds exhibited only moderate or weak antifungal activity. The antifungal activities of blends of constituents identified in L. petersonii oil indicated that neral and geranial were the major contributors to the fumigant and antifungal activities.  相似文献

A series of novel helicid derivatives containing 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one and 3,4-dihydropyrimidine2(1H)-thione moiety (3a–3f and 4a–4f) were synthesized starting from helicid. The structure of the new compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, IR and HR-MS spectra. The sedative-hypnotic activities of the target compounds were evaluated using the test of spontaneous locomotor activity in mice. All of the derivatives produced moderate to high activities; in particular, compound 4a presented the most potent sedative-hypnotic effect in comparison to the other derivatives, and derivatives 3a, 3c, 3d, 3e and 3f also showed potent activities.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of a mixture of V2O5, VCl3, 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid and diluted H2SO4 for 68 h at 180°C gives a blue colored solution which yields prismatic blue crystals of IV 2 IV O2(SO4)2(H2O)6] (1) in 32% yield (based on V). Complex 1 was investigated by means of elemental analysis (C, H and S), TGA, FT-IR, manganometric titration, Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction Methods and also comparative antimicrobial activities. Crystal data for the compound: monoclinic space group P21/c and unit cell parameters are a = 7.3850(12) Å, b = 7.3990(7) Å, c = 12.229(2) Å, β = 108.976(12)° and Z = 2. Although structure of 1 as a natural mineral has been previously determined, this work covers new preparation method and full characterization of 1 along with comparison of antibacterial activity between 1 and the commercial vanadium(IV) oxide sulfate hydrate compounds, VOSO4 · xH2O (Riedel-de Haën and Alfa Aesar brand names). 1 was evaluated for the antimicrobial activity against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and mould compared with the commercial VOSO4 · xH2O compounds. 1 showed weak activity against bacteria Bacillus cereus, Nocardia asteroides and yeast Candida albicans. A good antimicrobial activity was recorded against Cirtobacter freundii (15 mm). There are only a few reproducible well-defined vanadium(IV) starting materials to use for exploring the synthesis of new materials. VCl4, VO(acac)2, VOSO4 · xH2O and [V(IV)OSO4(H2O)4] · SO4 · [H2N(C2H4)2NH2] are common starting materials for such applications. In addition to these compounds, 1 can be used as an oxovanadium precursor.  相似文献

The lipase B from Candida antarctica (Novozym 435?, CALB) efficiently catalyzed the kinetic resolution of some aliphatic secondary alcohols: (±)-4-methylpentan-2-ol (1), (±)-5-methylhexan-2-ol (3), (±)-octan-2-ol (4), (±)-heptan-3-ol (5) and (±)-oct-1-en-3-ol (6). The lipase showed excellent enantioselectivities in the transesterifications of racemic aliphatic secondary alcohols producing the enantiopure alcohols (>99% ee) and acetates (>99% ee) with good yields. Kinetic resolution of rac-alcohols was successfully achieved with CALB lipase using simple conditions, vinyl acetate as acylating agent, and hexane as non-polar solvent.  相似文献

Heterocyclic compounds containing pyrazolyl-oxopropyl-quinazolin-4(3H)-one are reported to possess significant biological activity. Syntheses of 6-bromo-2-(3-chloro-2-oxopropyl)-3-(4-fluorophenyl)quinazolin-4(3H)-one 2 6-bromo-3-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-(3-hydrazinyl-2-oxopropyl)quinazolin-4(3H)-one 3 and 6-bromo-2-(3-(3-(4-(1-(2-chlorophenyl)-3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-ylideneamino)phenyl)-5-(substituted phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-2-oxopropyl)-3-(4-fluorophenyl)quinazolin-4(3H)-one 5aj using microwave irradiation have been described. These compounds have been characterized on the basis of the UV, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, Mass and elemental analysis. Compounds have been evaluated for their antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

Two novel compounds, 3-(hydroxymethyl)-4-methylfuran-2(5H)-one (1) and (3R,4S,1′R)-3-(1′-hydroxyethyl)-4-methyldihydrofuran-2(3H)-one (2), were isolated along with two known ones (3 and 4) from an edible mushroom Mycoleptodonoides aitchisonii. Stereocontrolled syntheses of biotin-labeled oligosaccharide portions containing the Galβ1-3GalNAc core of the TES-glycoprotein antigen obtained from larvae of the parasite Toxocara and their analogues have been accomplished. Trisaccharides Fuc2Meα1-2Gal4Meβ1-3GalNAcα1-OR (A), Fucα1-2Gal4Meβ1-3GalNAcα1-OR (B), Fuc2Meα1-2Galβ1-3GalNAcα1-OR (C), Fucα1-2Galβ1-3GalNAcα1-OR (D) and a disaccharide Fuc2Meα1-2Gal4Meβ1-OR (E) (R = biotinylated probe) were synthesized by block synthesis using 5-(methoxycarbonyl)pentyl-2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-galactopyranosyl-(1?3)-2-azide-4-O-benzyl-2-deoxy-α-D-galactopyranoside as a common glycosyl acceptor. We examined the antigenicity of these five oligosaccharides by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Our results demonstrate that the O-methyl groups in these oligosaccharides are important for their antigenicity and the biotinylated oligosaccharides A, B, C and E have high serodiagnostic potential to detect infections caused by Toxocara larvae.  相似文献
