The reactions of SO3 with H, O, and OH radicals have been investigated by ab initio calculations. For the SO3 + H reaction (1), the lowest energy pathway involves initial formation of HSO3 and rearrangement to HOSO2, followed by dissociation to OH + SO2. The reaction is fast, with k(1) = 8.4 x 10(9)T(1.22) exp(-13.9 kJ mol(-1)/RT) cm(3) mol(-1) s(-1) (700-2000 K). The SO3 + O --> SO2 + O2 reaction (2) may proceed on both the triplet and singlet surfaces, but due to a high barrier the reaction is predicted to be slow. The rate constant can be described as k(2) = 2.8 x 10(4)T(2.57) exp(-122.3 kJ mol(-1)/RT) cm(3) mol(-1) s(-1) for T > 1000 K. The SO3 + OH reaction to form SO2 + HO2 (3) proceeds by direct abstraction but is comparatively slow, with k(3) = 4.8 x 10(4)T(2.46) exp(-114.1 kJ mol(-) 1/RT) cm(3) mol(-1) s(-1) (800-2000 K). The revised rate constants and detailed reaction mechanism are consistent with experimental data from batch reactors, flow reactors, and laminar flames on oxidation of SO2 to SO3. The SO3 + O reaction is found to be insignificant during most conditions of interest; even in lean flames, SO3 + H is the major consumption reaction for SO3.  相似文献

The complete basis set method CBS-QB3 has been used to study the thermochemistry and kinetics of the esters ethyl propanoate (EP) and methyl butanoate (MB) to evaluate initiation reactions and intermediate products from unimolecular decomposition reactions. Using isodesmic and isogeitonic equations and atomization energies, we have estimated chemically accurate enthalpies of formation and bond dissociation energies for the esters and species derived from them. In addition it is shown that controversial literature values may be resolved by adopting, for the acetate radical, CH3C(O)O(.-), DeltaH(o)(f)298.15K) = -197.8 kJ mol(-1) and for the trans-hydrocarboxyl radical, C(.-)(O)OH, -181.6 +/- 2.9 kJ mol(-1). For EP, the lowest energy decomposition path encounters an energy barrier of approximately 210 kJ mol(-1) (approximately 50 kcal mol(-1)), which proceeds through a six-membered ring transition state (retro-ene reaction) via transfer of the primary methyl H atom from the ethyl group to the carbonyl oxygen, while cleaving the carbon-ether oxygen to form ethene and propanoic acid. On the other hand, the lowest energy path for MB has a barrier of approximately 285 kJ mol(-1), producing ethene. Other routes leading to the formation of aldehydes, alcohols, ketene, and propene are also discussed. Most of these intramolecular hydrogen transfers have energy barriers lower than that needed for homolytic bond fission (the lowest of which is 353 kJ mol(-1) for the C(alpha)-C(beta) bond in MB). Propene formation is a much higher energy demanding process, 402 kJ mol(-1), and it should be competitive with some C-C, C-O, and C-H bond cleavage processes.  相似文献

We studied computationally the activation of H(2) on clean planar (111), (110) and stepped (221) as well as oxygen pre-covered silver surfaces using a density functional slab model approach. In line with previous data we determined clean silver to be inert towards H(2) dissociation, both thermodynamically and kinetically. The reaction is endothermic by approximately 40 kJ mol(-1) and exhibits high activation energies of approximately 125 kJ mol(-1). However, oxygen on the surface, modeled by the reconstructed surface p(2 x 1)O/Ag(110) that exhibits -O-Ag-O- added rows, renders H(2) dissociation clearly exothermic and kinetically feasible. The reaction was calculated to proceed in two steps: first the H-H bond is broken at an Ag-O pair with an activation barrier E(a) approximately 70 kJ mol(-1), then the H atom bound at an Ag center migrates to a neighboring O center with E(a) approximately 12 kJ mol(-1).  相似文献

The mechanism for the deamination of guanine with H(2)O, OH(-), H(2)O/OH(-) and for GuaH(+) with H(2)O has been investigated using ab initio calculations. Optimized geometries of the reactants, transition states, intermediates, and products were determined at RHF/6-31G(d), MP2/6-31G(d), B3LYP/6-31G(d), and B3LYP/6-31+G(d) levels of theory. Energies were also determined at G3MP2, G3MP2B3, G4MP2, and CBS-QB3 levels of theory. Intrinsic reaction coordinate (IRC) calculations were performed to characterize the transition states on the potential energy surface. Thermodynamic properties (ΔE, ΔH, and ΔG), activation energies, enthalpies, and Gibbs free energies of activation were also calculated for each reaction investigated. All pathways yield an initial tetrahedral intermediate and an intermediate in the last step that dissociates to products via a 1,3-proton shift. At the G3MP2 level of theory, deamination with OH(-) was found to have an activation energy barrier of 155 kJ mol(-1) compared to 187 kJ mol(-1) for the reaction with H(2)O and 243 kJ mol(-1) for GuaH(+) with H(2)O. The lowest overall activation energy, 144 kJ mol(-1) at the G3MP2 level, was obtained for the deamination of guanine with H(2)O/OH(-). Due to a lack of experimental results for guanine deamination, a comparison is made with those of cytosine, whose deamination reaction parallels that of guanine.  相似文献

The cycloaddition mechanism of the reaction between singlet dimethyl germylidene and formaldehyde has been investigated with MP2/6-31G* method, including geometry optimization and vibrational analysis for the involved stationary points on the potential energy surface. The energies of the different conformations are calculated with CCSD (T)//MP2/6-31G* method. From the potential energy profile, we predict that the cycloaddition reaction between singlet dimethyl germylidene and formaldehyde has two dominant reaction pathways. First dominant reaction pathway consists of three steps: (1) the two reactants (R1, R2) firstly form an intermediate INT1a through a barrier-free exothermic reaction of 43.0 kJ/mol; (2) INT1a then isomerizes to a four-membered ring compound P1 via a transition state TS1a with an energy barrier of 24.5 kJ/mol; (3) P1 further reacts with formaldehyde(R2) to form a germanic heterocyclic compound INT3, which is also a barrier-free exothermic reaction of 52.7 kJ/mol; Second dominant reaction pathway is as following: (1) the two reactants (R1, R2) firstly form a planar four-membered ring intermediate INT1b through a barrier-free exothermic reaction of 50.8 kJ/mol; (2) INT1b then isomerizes to a twist four-membered ring intermediate INT1.1b via a transition state TS1b with an energy barrier of 4.3 kJ/mol; (3) INT1.1b further reacts with formaldehyde(R2) to form an intermediate INT4, which is also a barrier-free exothermic reaction of 46.9 kJ/mol; (4) INT4 isomerizes to a germanic bis-heterocyclic product P4 via a transition state TS4 with an energy barrier of 54.1 kJ/mol.  相似文献

Mechanisms for the deamination reaction of cytosine with H 2O/OH (-) and 2H 2O/OH (-) to produce uracil were investigated using ab initio calculations. Optimized geometries of reactants, transition states, intermediates, and products were determined at MP2 and B3LYP using the 6-31G(d) basis set and at B3LYP/6-31+G(d) levels of theory. Single point energies were also determined at MP2/G3MP2Large and G3MP2 levels of theory. Thermodynamic properties (Delta E, Delta H, and Delta G), activation energies, enthalpies, and free energies of activation were calculated for each reaction pathway investigated. Intrinsic reaction coordinate (IRC) analysis was performed to characterize the transition states on the potential energy surface. Seven pathways for the deamination reaction were found. All pathways produce an initial tetrahedral intermediate followed by several conformational changes. The final intermediate for all pathways dissociates to product via a 1-3 proton shift. The activation energy for the rate-determining step, the formation of the tetrahedral intermediate for pathway D, the only pathway that can lead to uracil, is 115.3 kJ mol (-1) at the G3MP2 level of theory, in excellent agreement with the experimental value (117 +/- 4 kJ mol (-1)).  相似文献

High level ab initio calculations using complete active space self-consistent field and multi reference single and double excitation configuration interaction methods with cc-pVDZ (correlation consistent polarized valence double zeta) and cc-pVTZ (triple zeta) basis sets have been performed to elucidate the reaction mechanism of the ion-molecule reaction, C2H2(1Sigmag+) + O+(4S), for which collision experiment has been performed by Chiu et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 109, 5300 (1998)]. The minor low-energy process leading to the weak spin-forbidden product C2H2+ (2Piu) + O(1D) has been studied previously and will not be discussed here. The major pathways to form charge-transfer (CT) products, C2H2+ (2Piu) + O(3P) (CT1) and C2H2+ (4A2) + O(3P) (CT2), and the covalently bound intermediates are investigated. The approach of the oxygen atom cation to acetylene goes over an energy barrier TS1 of 29 kcal/mol (relative to the reactant) and adiabatically leads the CT2 product or a weakly bound intermediate Int1 between CT2 products. This transition state TS1 is caused by the avoided crossing between the reactant and CT2 electronic states. As the C-O distance becomes shorter beyond the above intermediate, the C1 reaction pathway is energetically more favorable than the Cs pathway and goes over the second transition state TS2 of a relative energy of 39 kcal/mol. Although this TS connects diabatically to the covalent intermediate Int2, there are many states that interact adiabatically with this diabatic state and these lead to the other charge-transfer product CT1 via either of several nonadiabatic transitions. These findings are consistent with the experiment, in which charge transfer and chemical reaction products are detected above 35 and 39 kcal/mol collision energies, respectively.  相似文献

The mechanism for the deamination reaction of cytosine with H(2)O and OH(-) to produce uracil was investigated using ab initio calculations. Optimized geometries of reactants, transition states, intermediates, and products were determined at RHF/6-31G(d), MP2/6-31G(d), and B3LYP/6-31G(d) levels and for anions at the B3LYP/6-31+G(d) level. Single-point energies were also determined at B3LYP/6-31+G(d), MP2/GTMP2Large, and G3MP2 levels of theory. Thermodynamic properties (DeltaE, DeltaH, and DeltaG), activation energies, enthalpies, and free energies of activation were calculated for each reaction pathway that was investigated. Intrinsic reaction coordinate analysis was performed to characterize the transition states on the potential energy surface. Two pathways for deamination with H(2)O were found, a five-step mechanism (pathway A) and a two-step mechanism (pathway B). The activation energy for the rate-determining steps, the formation of the tetrahedral intermediate for pathway A and the formation of the uracil tautomer for pathway B, are 221.3 and 260.3 kJ/mol, respectively, at the G3MP2 level of theory. The deamination reaction by either pathway is therefore unlikely because of the high barriers that are involved. Two pathways for deamination with OH(-) were also found, and both of them are five-step mechanisms. Pathways C and D produce an initial tetrahedral intermediate by adding H(2)O to deprotonated cytosine which then undergoes three conformational changes. The final intermediate dissociates to product via a 1-3 proton shift. Deamination with OH(-), through pathway C, resulted in the lowest activation energy, 148.0 kJ/mol, at the G3MP2 level of theory.  相似文献

Several intermediates for the CH(3)SH + OH(*) --> CH(3)S(*) + H(2)O reaction were identified using MP2(full) 6-311+g(2df,p) ab initio calculations. An adduct, CH(3)S(H)OH(*), I, with electronic energy 13.63 kJ mol(-1) lower than the reactants, and a transition state, II(double dagger), located 5.14 kJ mol(-1) above I, are identified as the entrance channel for an addition-elimination reaction mechanism. After adding zero-point and thermal energies, DeltaH(r,298) ( degrees )(reactants --> I) = -4.85 kJ mol(-1) and DeltaH(298) (double dagger)(I --> II(double dagger)) = +0.10 kJ mol(-1), which indicates that the potential energy surface is broad and flat near the transition state. The calculated imaginary vibrational frequency of the transition state, 62i cm(-1), is also consistent with an addition-elimination mechanism. These calculations are consistent with experimental observations of the OH(*) + CH(3)SH reaction that favored an addition-elimination mechanism rather than direct hydrogen atom abstraction. An alternative reaction, CH(3)SH + OH(*) --> CH(3)SOH + H(*), with DeltaH(r,298) ( degrees ) = +56.94 kJ mol(-1) was also studied, leading to a determination of DeltaH(f,298) ( degrees )(CH(3)SOH) = -149.8 kJ mol(-1).  相似文献

Thermochemical parameters of carbonic acid and the stationary points on the neutral hydration pathways of carbon dioxide, CO 2 + nH 2O --> H 2CO 3 + ( n - 1)H 2O, with n = 1, 2, 3, and 4, were calculated using geometries optimized at the MP2/aug-cc-pVTZ level. Coupled-cluster theory (CCSD(T)) energies were extrapolated to the complete basis set limit in most cases and then used to evaluate heats of formation. A high energy barrier of approximately 50 kcal/mol was predicted for the addition of one water molecule to CO 2 ( n = 1). This barrier is lowered in cyclic H-bonded systems of CO 2 with water dimer and water trimer in which preassociation complexes are formed with binding energies of approximately 7 and 15 kcal/mol, respectively. For n = 2, a trimeric six-member cyclic transition state has an energy barrier of approximately 33 (gas phase) and a free energy barrier of approximately 31 (in a continuum solvent model of water at 298 K) kcal/mol, relative to the precomplex. For n = 3, two reactive pathways are possible with the first having all three water molecules involved in hydrogen transfer via an eight-member cycle, and in the second, the third water molecule is not directly involved in the hydrogen transfer but solvates the n = 2 transition state. In the gas phase, the two transition states have comparable energies of approximately 15 kcal/mol relative to separated reactants. The first path is favored over in aqueous solution by approximately 5 kcal/mol in free energy due to the formation of a structure resembling a (HCO 3 (-)/H 3OH 2O (+)) ion pair. Bulk solvation reduces the free energy barrier of the first path by approximately 10 kcal/mol for a free energy barrier of approximately 22 kcal/mol for the (CO 2 + 3H 2O) aq reaction. For n = 4, the transition state, in which a three-water chain takes part in the hydrogen transfer while the fourth water microsolvates the cluster, is energetically more favored than transition states incorporating two or four active water molecules. An energy barrier of approximately 20 (gas phase) and a free energy barrier of approximately 19 (in water) kcal/mol were derived for the CO 2 + 4H 2O reaction, and again formation of an ion pair is important. The calculated results confirm the crucial role of direct participation of three water molecules ( n = 3) in the eight-member cyclic TS for the CO 2 hydration reaction. Carbonic acid and its water complexes are consistently higher in energy (by approximately 6-7 kcal/mol) than the corresponding CO 2 complexes and can undergo more facile water-assisted dehydration processes.  相似文献

Ab initio UMP2 and UQCISD(T) calculations, with 6-311G** basis sets, were performed for the titled reactions. The results show that the reactions have two product channels: NH2+ HNCO→NH3+NCO (1) and NH2+HNCO-N2H3+CO (2), where reaction (1) is a hydrogen abstraction reaction via an H-bonded complex (HBC), lowering the energy by 32.48 kJ/mol relative to reactants. The calculated QCISD(T)//MP2(full) energy barrier is 29.04 kJ/mol, which is in excellent accordance with the experimental value of 29.09 kJ/mol. In the range of reaction temperature 2300-2700 K, transition theory rate constant for reaction (1) is 1.68 × 1011- 3.29 × 1011 mL · mol-1· s-1, which is close to the experimental one of 5.0 ×1011 mL× mol-1· s-1 or less. However, reaction (2) is a stepwise reaction proceeding via two orientation modes, cis and trans, and the energy barriers for the rate-control step at our best calculations are 92.79 kJ/mol (for cis-mode) and 147.43 kJ/mol (for trans-mode), respectively, which is much higher than  相似文献

Reliable thermochemical data for the reaction SO3 + H2O<-->SO3 x H2O (1a) are of crucial importance for an adequate modeling of the homogeneous H2SO4 formation in the atmosphere. We report on high-level quantum chemical calculations to predict the binding energy of the SO3 x H2O complex. The electronic binding energy is accurately computed to De = 40.9+/-1.0 kJ/mol = 9.8+/-0.2 kcal/mol. By using harmonic frequencies from density functional theory calculations (B3LYP/cc-pVTZ and TPSS/def2-TZVP), zero-point and thermal energies were calculated. From these data, we estimate D0 = -Delta H(1a)0(0 K) = 7.7+/-0.5 kcal/mol and Delta H(1a)0(298 K) = -8.3+/-1.0 kcal/mol.  相似文献

The mechanism of size-dependent intracluster hydrogen loss in the cluster ions Mg(+)(H(2)O)(n), which is switched on around n=6, and off around n=14, was studied by ab initio calculations at the MP2/6-31G* and MP2/6-31G** levels for n=1-6. The reaction proceeds by Mg(+)-assisted breaking of an H-O bond in one of the H(2)O molecules. The reaction barrier is dependent on both the cluster size and the solvation structure. As n increases from 1 to 6, there is a dramatic drop in the reaction barrier, from greater than 70 kcal mol(-1) for n=1 to less than 10 kcal mol(-1) for n=6. In the transition structures, the Mg atom is close to the oxidation state of +2, and H(2)O molecules in the first solvation shell are much more effective in stabilizing the transition structures and lowering the reaction barriers than H(2)O molecules in the other solvation shells. While the reaction barrier for trimer core structures with only three H(2)O molecules in the first shell is greater than 24 kcal mol(-1), even for Mg(+)(H(2)O)(6), it drops considerably for clusters with four-six H(2)O molecules in the first shell. The more highly coordinated complexes have comparable or slightly higher energy than the trimer core structures, and the presence of such high coordination number complexes is the underlying kinetic factor for the switching on of the hydrogen-loss reaction around n=6. For clusters with trimer core structures, the hydrogen loss reaction is much easier when it is preceded by an isomerization step that increases the coordination number around Mg(+). Delocalization of the electron on the singly occupied molecular orbital (SOMO) away from the Mg(+) ion is observed for the hexamer core structure, while at the same time this isomer is the most reactive for the hydrogen-loss reaction, with an energy barrier of only 2.7 kcal mol(-1) at the MP2/6-31G** level.  相似文献

Theoretical calculations (B3LYP/6-311+G(3df,2p)//B3LYP/6-31G) of the 1,3 migration of NR(2) transforming alpha-oxoketenimines 1 to alpha-imidoylketenes 3 and vice versa indicate that this process is a pseudo-pericyclic reaction with a low activation energy (NH(2) 97 kJ mol(-1), N(CH3)(2) 62 kJ mol(-1)). The oxoketenimines were found to be more stable (by 18-35 kJ mol(-1)) which is in line with experimental observations. The hindered amine rotation in the amide and amidine moieties adjacent to the cumulenes are important in the migration of the NR(2) group, as one of the rotation transition states is close to the 1,3 migration pathway. This gives an interesting potential energy surface with a valley-ridge inflection (VRI) between the orthogonal hindered amine rotation and 1,3 migration transition states. The imidoylketene may also undergo ring closure to an azetinone 5; however, this is metastable, and under the conditions that allow the 1,3-migration, the oxoketenimine 1 will be favored. The imine NH E/Z-interconversion of the ketenimine group takes place by inversion and has a low activation barrier ( approximately 40 kJ mol(-1)). In all the amidines examined the E/Z-interconversion of the imine function was predicted to be by rotation with a high barrier (>80 kJ mol(-1)), in contrast to all other reported imine E/Z-interconversions which are by inversion.  相似文献

Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is the major sulfur-containing constituent of the Marine Boundary Layer. It is a significant source of H2SO4 aerosol/particles and methane sulfonic acid via atmospheric oxidation processes, where the mechanism is not established. In this study, several new, low-temperature pathways are revealed in the oxidation of DMSO using CBS-QB3 and G3MP2 multilevel and B3LYP hybrid density functional quantum chemical methods. Unlike analogous hydrocarbon peroxy radicals the chemically activated DMSO peroxy radical, [CH3S(=O)CH2OO*]*, predominantly undergoes simple dissociation to a methylsulfinyl radical CH3S*(=O) and a Criegee intermediate, CH2OO, with the barrier to dissociation 11.3 kcal mol(-1) below the energy of the CH3S(=O)CH2* + O2 reactants. The well depth for addition of O2 to the CH3S(=O)CH2 precursor radical is 29.6 kcal mol(-1) at the CBS-QB3 level of theory. We believe that this reaction may serve an important role in atmospheric photochemical and irradiated biological (oxygen-rich) media where formation of initial radicals is facilitated even at lower temperatures. The Criegee intermediate (carbonyl oxide, peroxymethylene) and sulfinyl radical can further decompose, resulting in additional chain branching. A second reaction channel important for oxidation processes includes formation (via intramolecular H atom transfer) and further decomposition of hydroperoxide methylsulfoxide radical, *CH2S(=O)CH2OOH over a low barrier of activation. The initial H-transfer reaction is similar and common in analogous hydrocarbon radical + O2 reactions; but the subsequent very low (3-6 kcal mol(-1)) barrier (14 kcal mol(-1) below the initial reagents) to beta-scission products is not common in HC systems. The low energy reaction of the hydroperoxide radical is a beta-scission elimination of *CH2S(=O)CH2OOH into the CH2=S=O + CH2O + *OH product set. This beta-scission barrier is low, because of the delocalization of the *CH2 radical center through the -S(=O) group, to the -CH2OOH fragment in the transition state structure. The hydroperoxide methylsulfoxide radical can also decompose via a second reaction channel of intramolecular OH migration, yielding formaldehyde and a sulfur-centered hydroxymethylsulfinyl radical HOCH2S*(=O). The barrier of activation relative to initial reagents is 4.2 kcal mol(-1). Heats of formation for DMSO, DMSO carbon-centered radical and Criegee intermediate are evaluated at 298 K as -35.97 +/- 0.05, 13.0 +/- 0.2 and 25.3 +/- 0.7 kcal mol(-1) respectively using isodesmic reaction analysis. The [CH3S*(=O) + CH2OO] product set is shown to form a van der Waals complex that results in O-atom transfer reaction and the formation of new products CH3SO2* radical and CH2O. Proper orientation of the Criegee intermediate and methylsulfinyl radical, as a pre-stabilized pre-reaction complex, assist the process. The DMSO radical reaction is also compared to that of acetonyl radical.  相似文献

The reaction between singlet nitrenium ions XNH(+) (X = F and Cl) and H(2)O has been investigated by high-level of theory ab initio calculations. The geometries of the involved intermediates, transition structures, and dissociation products have been optimized at the MP2(full)/6-31G(d) level of theory, and accurate total energies have been obtained using the Gaussian-3 (G3) procedure. The reaction commences by the exothermic formation of the F-NH-OH(2) (+) and Cl-NH-OH(2) (+) intermediates, which are in turn able to undergo two distinct low-energy reaction paths, namely, the isomerization to the N-protonated isomers of the hydroxylamines F-NH-OH or Cl-NH-OH, and the eventual extrusion of HF or HCl. The competitive or alternative occurrence of these two processes strictly depends on the nature of the substituent X. In the reaction between FNH(+) and H(2)O, the energy gained in the formation of the complex F-NH-OH(2) (+) from the association between FNH(+) and H(2)O, 52.1 kcal mol(-1), is by far larger than the activation barrier for the loss of HF from F-NH-OH(2) (+), computed as 24.9 kcal mol(-1). In addition, the F-NH-OH(2) (+) intermediate requires 33.0 kcal mol(-1) to overcome the barrier for the isomerization to F-NH(2)-OH(+). Therefore, the reaction between FNH(+) and H(2)O is expected to occur practically exclusively by HF elimination with formation of the HN-OH(+) ionic product. On the other hand, for the reaction between ClNH(+) and H(2)O, it is not possible to get a definitive conclusion on the competitive or alternative occurrence of the two reaction paths. In fact, the transition structure involved in the elimination of HCl from Cl-NH-OH(2) (+) is only 3.4 kcal mol(-1) lower in energy than the transition structure for the isomerization of Cl-NH-OH(2) (+) to Cl-NH(2)-OH(+). In addition, the absolute values of the energy barriers of these two processes, 24.2 and 27.6 kcal mol(-1), respectively, are comparable with the energy gained in the formation of the complex Cl-NH-OH(2) (+) from the association between ClNH(+) and H(2)O, 24.0 kcal mol(-).1 Therefore, the ClNH(+) cation is predicted to react with water significantly slower than FNH(+).

The ground-state potential energy surface (PES) in the gas-phase H2/CO2/Ni(3D) system is investigated at the CCSD(T)//B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,2p) levels in order to explore the possible reaction mechanism of the reverse water gas shift reaction catalyzed by Ni(3D). The calculations predict that the C-O bond cleavage of CO2 assisted by co-interacted H2 is prior to the dissociation of the H2, and the most feasible reaction path for Ni(3D) + H2 + CO2 --> Ni(3D) + H2O + CO is endothermic by 12.5 kJ mol(-1) with an energy barrier of 103.9 kJ mol(-1). The rate-determining step for the overall reaction is predicted to be the hydrogen migration with water formation. The promotion effect of H2 on the cleavage of C-O bond in CO2 is also discussed and compared with the analogous reaction of Ni(3D) + CO2 --> NiO + CO, and the difference between triplet and singlet H2/CO2/Ni systems is also discussed.  相似文献

The mechanism of the cycloaddition reaction between singlet dichlorosilylene carbene (Cl2Si=C:) and formaldehyde has been investigated with MP2/6-31G* method, including geometry optimization and vibrational analysis for the involved stationary points on the potential energy surface. The energies of the different conformations are calculated by Zero-point energy and CCSD (T)//MP2/6-31G* method. From the potential energy profile, it can be predicted that the reaction has two competitive dominant reaction pathways. The first dominant reaction pathway consists of two steps: (1) the two reactants (R1, R2) firstly form a four-membered ring intermediate (INT4) through a barrier-free exothermic reaction of 387.9 kJ/mol; (2) intermediate (INT4) then isomerizes to H-transfer product (P4.2) via a transition state (TS4.2) with energy barrier of 4.7 kJ/mol. The second dominant reaction pathway as follows: on the basis of intermediate (INT4) created between R1 and R2, intermediate (INT4) further reacts with formaldehyde (R2) to form the intermediate (INT5) through a barrier-free exothermic reaction of 158.3 kJ/mol. 在CCSD(T)/6-311+G(3df,2p)//M06-2X/6-311+G(3df,2p)水平上研究了(H_2O)n(n=0~2)催化HS和HOCl的反应机理.
