The β decay of 96Ag (Z=47,N=49) was investigated by measuring positrons, X rays as well as β-delayed protons and γ rays. The γ radiation was studied by means of germanium detectors and a NaI total-absorption spectrometer. Two β-decaying isomers in 96Ag were established with half-lives of 4.40(6) and 6.9(6) s and tentative spin–parity assignments of (8+) and (2+), respectively. For both isomers, the intensities of β transitions to low-lying levels of 96Pd (Z=46,N=50) and β-delayed proton decays to levels in 95Rh (Z=45,N=50) were measured. Several new 96Pd levels were firmly established. The level energies, their γ decays and the Gamow–Teller decay of 96Ag are compared to shell-model predictions. A new low-lying level in 95Rh was found at 680 keV excitation energy. Through a comparison with low-lying states of N=50 isotones, this level is interpreted as the first excited 7/2+ state built on the proton 9/2+ ground state. The assignments of further excited states in 95Rh are discussed.  相似文献

The s-wave η self-energy in the nuclear medium is calculated in a chiral unitary approach. A coupled channel Bethe–Salpeter equation is solved to obtain the effective ηN interaction in the medium. The base model reproduces well the free space πN elastic and inelastic scattering at the ηN threshold or N*(1535) region. The Pauli blocking on the nucleons, binding potentials for the baryons and self-energies of the mesons are incorporated, including the η self-energy in a self-consistent way. Our calculation predicts about −54−i29 MeV for the optical potential at normal nuclear matter for an η at threshold but also shows a strong energy dependence of the potential.  相似文献

It is proved that the binding energy, radius and chemical potential of the N-electron Thomas-Fermi atom with the nuclear charge Z in a strong magnetic field at q = 1 − N/Z 1 may be expressed as a power series in q1/3 and In q. The exact values of the first expansion coefficients are found. A comparison with numerical data shows these expansions to be applicable up to q = 0.2.  相似文献

The ppppη and npnpη reactions at energies near the η production threshold are studied in a non-relativistic one boson exchange model, where the N* (1535 MeV) S11 resonance is excited through the exchange of π, η, and ω mesons and subsequently decays into an ηN pair. Energy integrated cross sections and energy spectra of the out going η's are reported. Providing NN and ηN final state interactions are taken into account coherently, the model reproduces both the scale and energy dependence of the cross section for the ppppη reactions up to 100 MeV. Final state interaction corrections due to the nucleon-nucleon and meson-nucleon forces influence strongly the scale and shape of the cross sections. The shape of the energy spectra of the outgoing η's provides a clear signature of the ηN force.  相似文献

Cross sections for some (n, 3He + dp + n2p) and (n, + 2n2p + n3He + pt + dd + dnp) reactions induced by fast neutrons produced via breakup of 53 MeV deuterons on a Be target (En = 4–50 MeV; Imax at 22.5 MeV; FWHM = 15.8 MeV) were measured for isotopes of the elements I, La, Nd, Tb, Ho, Yb, W and Au by the activation technique using high-resolution γ-ray spectroscopy, wherever necessary chemical separation, and in several cases enriched isotopes as targets. Furthermore, 3He/ emission cross-section ratios were measured for Co, Ag, In, Cs, La, Ta, Au and Bi using a quadrupole mass spectrometer. The cross sections decrease as a function of increasing (NZ)/A of the target nucleus. For target elements with Z 44, the 3He/ emission cross-section ratio increases with increasing Z; for elements with Z > 44, however, the trend is reversed. Hauser-Feshbach calculations suggest that the 3He/ emission cross-section ratios are not explainable by the statistical model.  相似文献

利用有效液滴模型计算了超铅区结团放射半衰期.在计算Gamow势垒穿透因子时采用了碎块体积不守恒以及有效惯性系数因子,并用有效的核半径常数公式代替原来的经验公式.理论计算得到的结团放射半衰期和实验值符合得很好,其半衰期对数值的均方差只有0.895.理论结果表明,有效液滴模型能充分反映N=126和Z=82的壳效应,并且在奇数结团25Ne,29Mg中出现了明显的奇偶质量摆动现象.另外,理论计算得到的结团半衰期基本符合盖革-努塔尔定律,并基于理论结果得到了一些关于盖革-努塔尔定律的有意义的结论.  相似文献

To search for new candidates of the true and simultaneous two-proton(2 p) radioactivity, the 2 p decay energies(Q2 p) are extracted by the Weizs?cker–Skyrme-4(WS4) model, the finite-range droplet model(FRDM), the Koura–Tachibana–Uno–Yamada(KTUY) model and the Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov mean-field model with the BSk29 Skyrme interaction(HFB29). Then, the 2 p radioactivity half-lives are calculated within the generalized liquid drop model by inputting the four types of Q2 pvalues. By the energy and half-life constraints, it is found that the probable 2 p decay candidates are the nuclei beyond the proton-drip line in the region of Z≤50 based on the WS4 and KTUY mass models. For the FRDM mass model, the probable 2 p decay candidates are found in the region of Z≤44. However, the 2p-decaying candidates are predicted in the region of Z≤58 by the HFB29 mass model. It means that the probable 2 p decay candidates of Z50 are only predicted by the HFB29 mass model. Finally, the competition between the true 2p radioactivity and α-decay for the nuclei above the N=Z=50 shell closures is discussed. It is shown that ~(101)Te,~(111)Ba and ~(114)Ce prefer to 2p radioactivity and the dominant decay mode of ~(107)Xe and ~(116)Ce is α-decay.  相似文献

In this work, we systematically study the α decay half-lives of 196 even–even nuclei using a two-potential approach improved by considering nuclear deformation. The results show that the accuracy of this model has been improved after considering nuclear deformation. In addition, we extend this model to predict the α decay half-lives of Z = 118 and 120 isotopes by inputting the α decay energies extracted from the Weizsacker–Skyrme-type (WS-type) mass model, a simple nuclear mass formula, relativistic continuum Hartree–Bogoliubov theory and Duflo-Zuker-19 (DZ19) mass model. It is useful for identifying the new superheavy elements or isotopes for future experiments. Finally, the predicted α decay energies and half-lives of Z = 118 and 120 isotopes are analyzed, and the shell structure of superheavy nuclei is discussed. It shows that the shell effect is obvious at N = 184, while the shell effect at N = 178 depends on the nuclear mass model.  相似文献

With the use of the symmetry-unrestricted cranked Skyrme–Hartree–Fock method in the three-dimensional coordinate-mesh representation, we have carried out a systematic theoretical search for the superdeformed and hyperdeformed rotational bands in the mass A=30–50 region. Along the N=Z line, we have found superdeformed solutions in 32S, 36Ar, 40Ca, 44Ti, and hyperdeformed solutions in 36Ar, 40Ca, 44Ti, 48Cr. The superdeformed band in 40Ca is found to be extremely soft against both the axially symmetric (Y30) and asymmetric (Y31) octupole deformations. An interesting role of symmetry breaking in the mean field is pointed out.  相似文献

The FDSM prediction of oblate superdeformed minima in nuclides with 84<Z<90 and 124<N<130 is studied with a Strutinsky method calculation of energy surfaces. Oblate superdeformed minima are found for slightly heavier nuclides. A critique of the application of the FDSM in the heavy elements is presented. The β-functions of O(N)-symmetric non-linear σ-models on the lattice were recently discovered to be non-monotonic for N 3. We explain the non-monotonic behaviour as a non-perturbative lattice effect by relating it to the Kosterlitz-Thouless transition of the XY-model. We also relate the latter transition to the phase transition of the Ising model. These relationships are established by interpolating between the O(N)- and the O(N − 1)-symmetric non-linear σ-models by suppression of the Nth component of the N-vector field with a mass term. A critical line in the coupling-mass plane connects the critical point of the Ising model (N = 1) with the critical point of the XY-model (N = 2). This line extends towards the region of non-monotonic behaviour of the β-function of the O(3)-symmetric model. The nature of the transition lines is also investigated.  相似文献

We study the N=2 supersymmetric E6 models on the 6-dimensional space–time where the supersymmetry and gauge symmetry can be broken by the discrete symmetry. On the space–time M4×S1/(Z2×Z2′)×S1/(Z2×Z2′), for the zero modes, we obtain the 4-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric models with gauge groups SU(3)×SU(2)×SU(2)×U(1)2, SU(4)×SU(2)×SU(2)×U(1), and SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1)3 with one extra pair of Higgs doublets from the vector multiplet. In addition, considering that the extra space manifold is the annulus A2 and disc D2, we list all the constraints on constructing the 4-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1)3 models for the zero modes, and give the simplest model with Z9 symmetry. We also comment on the extra gauge symmetry breaking and its generalization.  相似文献

We carried out four-body calculations of Λ4H and Λ4He taking both the 3N + Λ and 3N + Σ channels explicity with the use of realistic NN and YN interactions. The Σ-channel component plays an important role in binding energies of the A = 4 hypernuclei though the admixture is approximately 1%. The ΛN - ΣN coupling is found to be of central-force type in the Nijmegen model D and of tensor-force type in the model F.  相似文献

A complete analysis is made of the normal modes of an isotropic continuum model of a solid which occupies the region (0, 0, 0) < (x, y, z) < (X, Y, Z), the limit (X, Y, Z) → (∞,∞,∞) being taken. The surface z = 0 is a free surface and that z = Z is fixed; cyclic boundary conditions are used in the x and y directions. The modal displacements (vectors), modal frequencies (as a function of the wave-vectors), and wave-vector-densities are obtained for all types of normal modes; the work is a modification and extension of that of earlier workers.  相似文献

The axion solution to the strong CP problem makes use of a global Peccei–Quinn U(1) symmetry which is susceptible to violations from quantum gravitational effects. We show how discrete gauge symmetries can protect the axion from such violations. PQ symmetry emerges as an approximate global symmetry from discrete gauge symmetries. Simple models based on ZN symmetries with N=11,12, etc., are presented realizing the DFSZ axion and the KSVZ axion. The discrete gauge anomalies are canceled by a discrete version of the Green–Schwarz mechanism. In the supersymmetric extension our models provide a natural link between the SUSY breaking scale, the axion scale, and the SUSY-preserving μ term.  相似文献

基于球形与轴对称形变的相对论平均场(Relativistic Mean Field, 简称RMF)理论模型, 分别计算了Zr同位素链的基态总能量, 并根据其差值提取了形变修正能后发现, Zr同位素链丰中子区的核具有大的长椭形变, 对应的形变修正能可达到10 MeV。 利用RMF理论计算的基态能量, 在扣除液滴模型计算的结合能后, 得到了Zr同位素链的壳修正能。 通过对壳修正能的分析后发现, 形变使N=50壳效应显著减弱。 特别是在丰中子区, 大形变导致了N=50壳结构的消失。 The total binding energy of nuclei for Zr isotopic chain is calculated by the spherical and axial deformed relativistic mean field(RMF) theory respectively, and the energy contribution due to the deformation(i.e., deformation correction energy) is extracted. It is found that the neutron rich nuclei in the isotopic chain have large prolate deformation, and corresponding deformation correction energy can be up to 10 MeV. The shell correction energy is obtained by the difference between the binding energies calculated by the liquid model and those by the RMF calculations. Detailed analysis indicates that the deformation weakens the shell effect of N=50 remarkably. Especially for the neutron rich nuclei, large deformation leads to disappearance of the N=50 shell structure.  相似文献

On-line low temperature nuclear orientation (OLNO) experiments have been performed on the odd-A Te isotopes 131Te and 133Te using the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei (NMR/ON). The magnetic moments of the isomeric 11/2 states have been measured extending the known data on these states in the Te isotopes up to the neutron shell closure at N = 82. The contribution to the 11/2 magnetic moment in 133Te due to core polarisation is calculated using an RPA shell model as well as corrections to the magnetic dipole operator caused by mesonic exchange currents. The neutron number dependence of the magnetic moments of the 11/2 isomers in heavy Te isotopes is discussed in terms of particle-core coupling model (PCM) calculations.  相似文献
