To discriminate orange juice from grapefruit juice in a context of fraud prevention, 1H NMR data were submitted to different treatments to extract informative variables which were then analysed using multivariate techniques. Averaging contiguous data points of the spectrum followed by logarithmic transformation improved the results of the data analysis. Moreover, supervised variable selection methods gave better rates of classification of the juices into the correct groups. Last, independent-component analysis gave better classification results than principal-component analysis. Hence, ICA may be an efficient chemometric tool to detect differences in the 1H NMR spectra of similar samples, and so may be useful for authentication of foods.  相似文献

The NMR spectra (600 MHz) of polybutadienes containing different amounts of cis-1,4, trans- 1,4 and 1,2 units are analyzed. The critical consideration of signal assignment and the comparison of 1H and 13C NMR data reveal that there are significant limitations to the quantitative characterization of polybutadienes with the use of NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Heparin, a widely used anticoagulant primarily extracted from animal sources, contains varying amounts of galactosamine impurities. Currently, the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) monograph for heparin purity specifies that the weight percent of galactosamine (%Gal) may not exceed 1%. In the present study, multivariate regression (MVR) analysis of 1H NMR spectral data obtained from heparin samples was employed to build quantitative models for the prediction of %Gal. MVR analysis was conducted using four separate methods: multiple linear regression, ridge regression, partial least squares regression, and support vector regression (SVR). Genetic algorithms and stepwise selection methods were applied for variable selection. In each case, two separate prediction models were constructed: a global model based on dataset A which contained the full range (0–10%) of galactosamine in the samples and a local model based on the subset dataset B for which the galactosamine level (0–2%) spanned the 1% USP limit. All four regression methods performed equally well for dataset A with low prediction errors under optimal conditions, whereas SVR was clearly superior among the four methods for dataset B. The results from this study show that 1H NMR spectroscopy, already a USP requirement for the screening of contaminants in heparin, may offer utility as a rapid method for quantitative determination of %Gal in heparin samples when used in conjunction with MVR approaches.  相似文献

Summary. The structure of 2-amino-4-aryl-1-arylideneaminoimidazoles in DMSO-d6 solution was investigated by means of NMR spectroscopic methods (1H, 13C, 15N). From these data the (E)-configuration at the excocyclic C=N bond and a strong preference for the conformer with the imidazole H-5 and the N=CH proton being spatially close (s-trans regarding the N–N bond) can be concluded. Reaction of the title compounds with acetic anhydride leads to mono and diacylation at the 2-amino group, whereas treatment with pivalic anhydride exclusively affords the corresponding monoacyl product. The mono- and diacylation products exhibit similar configurational and conformational properties as the parent compounds.  相似文献

The analysis of long-range spin-spin coupling 19F-1H and the other conformation-dependent parameters of 1H NMR spectra shows that aryl vinyl selenides like aryl vinyl sulfides exist as mixtures of s-cis and s-trans rotational isomers. The combined data of 1H and 13C NMR spectra reveal the increase in the torsional angle ϑ at the bond X-CH=CH2 (X = S, Se) in selenides compared to sulfides due to diminished interaction energy of the unshared electron pairs of selenium with the π*-orbitals of the double bond as compared to analogous interaction in sulfides.  相似文献

195Pt, 1H, and 13C NMR spectroscopy was used to study the structure of binuclear platinum(III) acetamidate complexes with 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2′-bipyridine ligands [Pt2(phen)2(acam)4](NO3)2 (1) and [Pt2(bipy)2(acam)4](NO3)2 (2) in aqueous solutions. The 195Pt NMR spectra of solutions of complexes 1 and 2 in D2O exhibit two signals with satellites due to the 195Pt–195Pt spin-spin coupling (1 J(Pt–Pt) ≈ 6345 Hz), whereas their 1H and 13C NMR spectra contain four sets of signals for the protons and the carbon atoms of the heterocyclic and acetamidate ligands. The signals were assigned using the COSY, NOESY, and HSQC/ HMBC experiments and comparing the coordination shifts of the signals for the protons of heterocycles. These data allowed us to draw a conclusion that binuclear complexes 1 and 2 in solution have a head-to-head structure with nonequivalent platinum(III) atoms (coordination cores PtN5 and PtN3O2), the axial-equatorial coordination of the bidentate heterocyclic molecules, and two bridging and two terminal acetamidate ligands.  相似文献

The oxidation of some β-hydroxo-substituted η3-allyl Pd complexes based on the simplest 1,3-dienes is studied by the 1H and 13C NMR methods in neutral and weakly acidic methods. The composition of the reaction products is determined by the nature of the oxidizing agent and the structure of allyl fragment. The method of selective oxidation of the β-carbon atom of the allyl ligand with the allyl-metal bond remaining unchanged is suggested.  相似文献

Hydridosilazane compounds containing Si–N and Si–H bonds can be used as precursors of SiOx materials. The hydrolysis-condensation reactions of tetramethyldisilazane, as a polyhydridosilazane model compound, were investigated by 1H and 29Si liquid NMR spectroscopy. These reactions were carried out at room temperature for up to 120 min in presence of water. The identified products are short linear siloxane species (hydride terminated polydimethylsiloxanes MHDxMH) and cyclosiloxanes. Silicon hydride persistence in the reactional mixture suggested that silazane group is more sensitive to hydrolysis reaction than silicon hydride group. Moreover, additional experiments evidenced that the low steric hindrance of the silicon hydride influences the silazane hydrolysis kinetic. Hence the presence of ammonia released during silazane hydrolysis reaction was demonstrated to be a catalyst of the silicon hydride hydrolysis reaction.  相似文献

Within a temperature range of 120–330 K, 7Li NMR spectra in Li0.6CoO2 are obtained. It is shown that as the temperature increases, both smooth and stepwise variation of 7Li NMR contact shifts occurs. The observed effects are explained by the occupation of the excited levels of cobalt ions. The stepwise change of the resonance line width depending on the temperature is revealed. It is driven by the features of the diffusive motion of lithium ions. The calculation of the 1H NMR line shape provides the determination of the ratio of one-, two-, and three-spin proton clusters in Li0.6CoO2·xH2O.  相似文献

In 1H NMR metabolomic datasets, there are often over a thousand peaks per spectrum, many of which change position drastically between samples. Automatic alignment, annotation, and quantification of all the metabolites of interest in such datasets have not been feasible. In this work we propose a fully automated annotation and quantification procedure which requires annotation of metabolites only in a single spectrum. The reference database built from that single spectrum can be used for any number of 1H NMR datasets with a similar matrix. The procedure is based on the generalized fuzzy Hough transform (GFHT) for alignment and on Principal-components analysis (PCA) for peak selection and quantification. We show that we can establish quantities of 21 metabolites in several 1H NMR datasets and that the procedure is extendable to include any number of metabolites that can be identified in a single spectrum. The procedure speeds up the quantification of previously known metabolites and also returns a table containing the intensities and locations of all the peaks that were found and aligned but not assigned to a known metabolite. This enables both biopattern analysis of known metabolites and data mining for new potential biomarkers among the unknowns.  相似文献

In order to evaluate the capabilities of NMR spectroscopy for investigation of the solvatochromic effect in luminophore solutions, the 1H NMR chemical shifts of Nile Red in mixtures of solvents with different polarities (benzene, toluene, methanol) has been determined. Their dependence upon the solvent mixture composition has been revealed and binding sites for luminophore and solvent component molecules have been determined. The results of the NMR study are consistent with data on the fluorescence of Nile Red solutions in toluene-ethanol mixtures.  相似文献

1H NMR spectroscopic and pattern recognition-based methods (NMR-PR) were applied to the metabolic profiling studies on hemodialysis (HD). Plasma samples were collected from 37 patients before and after HD and measured by 600 MHz NMR spectroscopy. Each spectrum was data-processed and subjected to principal component analysis for pattern recognition. Spectral patterns of plasma between pre- and post-dialyses were clearly discriminated, together with significant fluctuations in the levels of creatinine, trimethylamine-N-oxide, glucose, lactate, and acetate, which were quantitated. We have first observed the significant elevation of lactate levels in post-dialysis plasma. The present study has demonstrated the high feasibility of NMR-PR method for monitoring the dialysis condition and comprehensive profiling of the change of low-molecular-weight metabolites in HD. Despite the wealth of information that has been obtained from the study of paramagnetic hemes and heme proteins by 1H NMR spectroscopy, there are certain limitations imposed by the nature of paramagnetically affected resonances that are difficult to overcome. Although it has long been recognized that 13C NMR spectroscopy is likely to be a powerful complementary technique to overcome some of these limitations, the low sensitivity and low natural abundance of 13C nuclei has resulted in a lag in the application of 13C NMR spectroscopy to the study of paramagnetic hemes and heme proteins. The tremendous advances in methodology and instrumentation witnessed in the NMR field, coupled to the advent of recombinant DNA methods that have made possible the preparation and purification of significant quantities of proteins, and the biosynthesis of 13C-labeled heme, have contributed to an increased interest in the study of paramagnetic heme active sites by 13C NMR spectroscopy. As a consequence, 13C NMR spectroscopy is emerging as a powerful tool to study heme electronic structure and structure–function relationships in heme-containing proteins. In this report we strive to summarize some of the recent developments in the analysis of paramagnetic hemes and heme-containing proteins by 13C NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

In this article, we describe the complete 1H and 13C NMR signal assignments of four 1,2,4-oxadiazoles possessing light-emitting liquid crystal properties. These results were obtained by using one- and two-dimensional NMR techniques as well as GIAO (PCM) calculations at B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) level for compounds 1 and 2ad. The computed values are in good agreement with the ones obtained experimentally. In addition, some previously unexplained thermotropic features of compounds 2ad could be clarified with the help of the geometry optimization calculations carried out by us.  相似文献

NMR (19F, 1H) methods are used to study ionic mobility in heptafluorozirconate (NH4)2.4Rb0.6ZrF7 in a range of temperatures from 150 K to 430 K. Types of ionic movements are determined, and their activation energy is evaluated. As a result of a phase transition a modification forms in which diffusion in the ammonium sublattice and isotropic reorientations of ZrF 7 3? complex anions are observed. According to preliminary data, due to diffusion of ammonium ions the compound has relatively high ionic conductivity (σ ≈ 8.3 × 10?5 S/cm at 423 K).  相似文献

The 1H NMR spectra (working frequencies of 500 and 600 MHz) of polychloroprenes are studied. The spin systems of protons for monomer units of different configurations (1,2, 3,4, 1,4-cis-and 1,4- trans- units), as well as for dyad and triad combinations of 1,4 units, are classified. A high working frequency, the method of double resonance, and the calculation of chemical shifts by empirical increments make it possible to refine the assignment of 1H NMR signals.  相似文献

Two isomeric dibenzofuran carboxaldehydes, namely 2-methoxydibenzo[b,d]furan-1-carbaldehyde (4) and 2-methoxydibenzo[b,d]furan-3-carbaldehyde (5), were synthesized. Formylation of 2-methoxydibenzo[b,d]furan (3) with α,α-dichloromethyl methyl ether and tin(IV) chloride gave a mixture of aldehydes 4 and 5 in 95 % yield and in a 35:65 ratio. Their 1H and 13C NMR spectral signals were not sufficiently resolved in CDCl3 solution to achieve their complete assignment, but this was possible in DMSO-d 6 with the help of 2D-NMR techniques: NOESY for 1H–1H interactions and HSQC and HMQC experiments for 1H–13C correlations. These aldehydes were used in the synthesis of novel β-phenylethylamines and NBOMe derivatives, which are undergoing biological evaluation.  相似文献

Summary.  A brief overview of our recent results concerning the application of 2D CRAMPS experiments to investigate a wide range of materials is presented. The abilities of the 2D 1H–1H spin-exchange technique to characterize the structure of organic solids as well as the limitations resulting from segmental mobility and from undesired coherence transfer are discussed. Basic principles of 1H NMR line-narrowing and procedures for analysis of the spin-exchange process are introduced. We focused to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex spin-exchange process leading to the determination of domain sizes and morphology in heterogeneous multicomponent systems as well as the characterization of clustering of surface hydroxyl groups in polysiloxane networks. Particular attention is devoted to the determination of the 1H–1H interatomic distances in the presence of local molecular motion. Finally we discuss limitations of the 13C–13C correlation mediated by 1H–1H spin exchange to obtain structural constraints. The application of Lee-Goldburg cross-polarization to suppress undesired coherence transfer is proposed. Corresponding author.
