The finite-dimensional irreducible representations of the Yangian of sl2 are parametrized by their highest weights, which are monic polynomials in one variable. In this paper, we give a formula for the character of such a representation which depends only on its highest weight, and is an analogue of the classical Weyl character formula.  相似文献

Let be an untwisted affine Kac-Moody algebra, with its Sklyanin-Drinfel'd structure of Lie bialgebra, and let be the dual Lie bialgebra. By dualizing the quantum double construction – via formal Hopf algebras – we construct a new quantum group , dual of . Studying its specializations at roots of 1 (in particular, its semi-classical limits), we prove that it yields quantizations of and (the formal Poisson group attached to ), and we construct new quantum Frobenius morphisms. The whole picture extends to the untwisted affine case the results known for quantum groups of finite type. Received January 27, 1999  相似文献

Quivers over a fixed base set form a monoidal category with tensor product given by pullback. The quantum Yang–Baxter equation, or more properly the braid equation, is investigated in this setting. A solution of the braid equation in this category is called a “solution” for short. Results of Etingof–Schedler–Soloviev, Lu–Yan–Zhu and Takeuchi on the set-theoretical quantum Yang–Baxter equation are generalized to the context of quivers, with groupoids playing the role of groups. The notion of “braided groupoid” is introduced. Braided groupoids are solutions and are characterized in terms of bijective 1-cocycles. The structure groupoid of a non-degenerate solution is defined; it is shown that it is a braided groupoid. The reduced structure groupoid of a non-degenerate solution is also defined. Non-degenerate solutions are classified in terms of representations of matched pairs of groupoids. By linearization we construct star-triangular face models and realize them as modules over quasitriangular quantum groupoids introduced in papers by M. Aguiar, S. Natale and the author.  相似文献

We first recall a canonical procedure for the construction of the invariant differential operators and equations for arbitrary complex or real noncompact semisimple Lie groups. Then we present the application of this procedure to the case of quantum groups. In detail is given the construction of representations of the quantum algebra U q (sl(n)) labelled by n–1 complex numbers and acting in the spaces of functions of n(n–1)/2 noncommuting variables, which generate a q-deformed SL(4) flag manifold. The conditions for reducibility of these representations and the procedure for the construction of the q-difference intertwining operators are given. Using these results for the case n=4 we propose infinite hierarchies of q-difference equations which are q-conformal invariant. The lowest member of one of these hierarchies are new q-Maxwell equations. We propose also new q-Minkowski spacetime which is part of a q-deformed SU(2,2) flag manifold.  相似文献

We introduce the notion of a braided algebra and study some examples of these. In particular, R-symmetric and R-skew-symmetric algebras of a linear space V equipped with a skew-invertible Hecke symmetry R are braided algebras. We prove the “mountain property” for the numerators and denominators of their Poincaré–Hilbert series (which are always rational functions).  相似文献

This paper treats the generalized quantum group U=U(χ,π) with a bi-homomorphism χ for which the corresponding generalized root system is a finite set. We establish a Harish-Chandra type theorem describing the (skew) centers of U.  相似文献

We develop a quantum duality principle for coisotropic subgroups of a (formal) Poisson group and its dual: namely, starting from a quantum coisotropic subgroup (for a quantization of a given Poisson group) we provide functorial recipes to produce quantizations of the dual coisotropic subgroup (in the dual formal Poisson group). By the natural link between subgroups and homogeneous spaces, we argue a quantum duality principle for Poisson homogeneous spaces which are Poisson quotients, i.e. have at least one zero-dimensional symplectic leaf. As an application, we provide an explicit quantization of the homogeneous -space of Stokes matrices, with the Poisson structure given by Dubrovin and Ugaglia.  相似文献

For a group G, the notion of a ribbon G-category was introduced in Turaev (Homotopy field theory in dimension 3 and crossed group-categories, preprint, math. GT/0005291) with a view towards constructing 3-dimensional homotopy quantum field theories (HQFTs) with target K(G,1). We discuss here how to derive ribbon G-categories from a simple complex Lie algebra where G is the center of . Our construction is based on a study of representations of the quantum group at a root of unity ε. Under certain assumptions on ε, the resulting G-categories give rise to numerical invariants of pairs (a closed oriented 3-manifold M, an element of H1(M;G)) and to 3-dimensional HQFTs.  相似文献

Using combinatorics of Young walls, we give a new realization of arbitrary level irreducible highest weight crystals for quantum affine algebras of type , , , , , and . The irreducible highest weight crystals are realized as the affine crystals consisting of reduced proper Young walls. The notion of slices and splitting of blocks plays a crucial role in the construction of crystals.Presented by Peter Littelman.  相似文献

We study maximal horizontal subgroups of Carnot groups of Heisenberg type. We classify those of dimension half of that of the canonical distribution (“lagrangians”) and illustrate some notable ones of small dimension. An infinitesimal classification of the arbitrary maximal horizontal submanifolds follows as a consequence. This work was supported by CONICET, Antorchas, FONCyT and Secyt (UNC).  相似文献

Quantum homogeneous supervector bundles arising from the quantum general linear supergoup are studied. The space of holomorphic sections is promoted to a left exact covariant functor from a category of modules over a quantum parabolic sub-supergroup to the category of locally finite modules of the quantum general linear supergroup. The right derived functors of this functor provides a form of Dolbeault cohomology for quantum homogeneous supervector bundles. We explicitly compute the cohomology groups, which are given in terms of well understood modules over the quantized universal enveloping algebra of the general linear superalgebra.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an analogue of the classical Yang-Baxter equation for general algebraic structures (including nonassociative algebras and vertex operator algebras). Moreover, we give several ways to construct solutions of the equation in case the algebraic structure is graded by an abelian group. In particular, we construct some unitary nondegenerate trignometric solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation for affine Lie algebras by means of our equation. This paper was written while the author was a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08903, U.S.A.  相似文献

Let $G_M$ be either the orthogonal group $O_M$ or the symplectic group $Sp_M$ over the complex field; in the latter case the non-negative integer $M$ has to be even. Classically, the irreducible polynomial representations of the group $G_M$ are labeled by partitions $\mu=(\mu_{1},\mu_{2},\,\ldots)$ such that $\mu^{\prime}_1+\mu^{\prime}_2\le M$ in the case $G_M=O_M$, or $2\mu^{\prime}_1\le M$ in the case $G_M=Sp_M$. Here $\mu^{\prime}=(\mu^{\prime}_{1},\mu^{\prime}_{2},\,\ldots)$ is the partition conjugate to $\mu$. Let $W_\mu$ be the irreducible polynomial representation of the group $G_M$ corresponding to $\mu$. Regard $G_N\times G_M$ as a subgroup of $G_{N+M}$. Then take any irreducible polynomial representation $W_\lambda$ of the group $G_{N+M}$. The vector space $W_{\lambda}(\mu)={\rm Hom}_{\,G_M}( W_\mu, W_\lambda)$ comes with a natural action of the group $G_N$. Put $n=\lambda_1-\mu_1+\lambda_2-\mu_2+\ldots\,$. In this article, for any standard Young tableau $\varOmega$ of skew shape $\lm$ we give a realization of $W_{\lambda}(\mu)$ as a subspace in the $n$-fold tensor product $(\mathbb{C}^N)^{\bigotimes n}$, compatible with the action of the group $G_N$. This subspace is determined as the image of a certain linear operator $F_\varOmega (M)$ on $(\mathbb{C}^N)^{\bigotimes n}$, given by an explicit formula. When $M=0$ and $W_{\lambda}(\mu)=W_\lambda$ is an irreducible representation of the group $G_N$, we recover the classical realization of $W_\lambda$ as a subspace in the space of all traceless tensors in $(\mathbb{C}^N)^{\bigotimes n}$. Then the operator $F_\varOmega\(0)$ may be regarded as the analogue for $G_N$ of the Young symmetrizer, corresponding to the standard tableau $\varOmega$ of shape $\lambda$. This symmetrizer is a certain linear operator on $\CNn$$(\mathbb{C}^N)^{\bigotimes n} $ with the image equivalent to the irreducible polynomial representation of the complex general linear group $GL_N$, corresponding to the partition $\lambda$. Even in the case $M=0$, our formula for the operator $F_\varOmega(M)$ is new. Our results are applications of the representation theory of the twisted Yangian, corresponding to the subgroup $G_N$ of $GL_N$. This twisted Yangian is a certain one-sided coideal subalgebra of the Yangian corresponding to $GL_N$. In particular, $F_\varOmega(M)$ is an intertwining operator between certain representations of the twisted Yangian in $(\mathbb{C}^N)^{\bigotimes n}$.  相似文献

In this paper we prove the existence of a formal dynamical twist quantization for any triangular and non-modified formal classical dynamical r-matrix in the reductive case. The dynamical twist is constructed as the image of the dynamical r-matrix by a L-quasi-isomorphism. This quasi-isomorphism also allows us to classify formal dynamical twist quantizations up to gauge equivalence.  相似文献
