The so-called weakly d-Koszul-type module is introduced and it turns out that each weakly d-Koszul-type module contains a d-Koszul-type submodule. It is proved that, M ∈ W H J^d(A) if and only if M admits a filtration of submodules: 0 belong to U0 belong to U1 belong to ... belong to Up = M such that all Ui/Ui-1 are d-Koszul-type modules, from which we obtain that the finitistic dimension conjecture holds in W H J^d(A) in a special case. Let M ∈ W H J^d(A). It is proved that the Koszul dual E(M) is Noetherian, Hopfian, of finite dimension in special cases, and E(M) ∈ gr0(E(A)). In particular, we show that M ∈ W H J^d(A) if and only if E(G(M)) ∈ gr0(E(A)), where G is the associated graded functor.  相似文献

It is shown that the multiplication in an Archimedean d-algebra A can be extended to a multiplication in the Dedekind completion A of A such that A becomes a d-algebra with respect to this extended multiplication. This answers a question posed by Huijsmans in Studies in Economic Theory (Vol. 2, Springer, Berlin, 1991).  相似文献

Let X be an Ahlfors d-regular space and mad-regular measure on X . We prove that a measure μ on X is d-homogeneous if and only if μ is mutually absolutely continuous with respect to m and the derivative Dmμ(x) is an A1 weight. Also, we show by an example that every Ahlfors d-regular space carries a measure which is d-homogeneous but not d-regular.  相似文献

In this paper, we get W 1,p (R n )-boundedness for tangential maximal function and nontangential maximal function, which improves J.Kinnunen, P.Lindqvist and Tananka’s results. As shown in [1], for each compact Hausdorff space K without isolated points, there exists a compact Hausdorff P′-space X but not an F-space such that C(K) is isometrically Riesz isomorphic to a Riesz subspace of C(X). The proof is technical and depends heavily on some representation theorems. In this paper we give a simple and direct proof without any assumptions on isolated points. Some generalizations of these results are mentioned.  相似文献

The paper focuses on the 1-generated positively graded algebras with non-pure resolutions and mainly discusses a new kind of algebras called(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebras as the generalization of bi-Koszul algebras. An(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebra can be obtained from two periodic algebras with pure resolutions. The generation of the Koszul dual of an(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebra is discussed. Based on it,the notion of strongly(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebras is raised and their homological properties are further discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we study the L p -discrepancy of digitally shifted Hammersley point sets. While it is known that the (unshifted) Hammersley point set (which is also known as Roth net) with N points has L p -discrepancy (p an integer) of order (log N)/N, we show that there always exists a shift such that the digitally shifted Hammersley point set has L p -discrepancy (p an even integer) of order which is best possible by a result of W. Schmidt. Further we concentrate on the case p = 2. We give very tight lower and upper bounds for the L 2-discrepancy of digitally shifted Hammersley point sets which show that the value of the L 2-discrepancy of such a point set mostly depends on the number of zero coordinates of the shift and not so much on the position of these. <Emphasis Type="Italic">q</Emphasis>-Besselian Frames in Banach Spaces   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, we introduce the concepts of q-Besselian frame and (p, σ)-near Riesz basis in a Banach space, where a is a finite subset of positive integers and 1/p+1/q = 1 with p 〉 1, q 〉 1, and determine the relations among q-frame, p-Riesz basis, q-Besselian frame and (p, σ)-near Riesz basis in a Banach space. We also give some sufficient and necessary conditions on a q-Besselian frame for a Banach space. In particular, we prove reconstruction formulas for Banach spaces X and X^* that if {xn}n=1^∞ C X is a q-Besselian frame for X, then there exists a p-Besselian frame {y&*}n=1^∞ belong to X^* for X^* such that x = ∑n=1^∞ yn^*(x)xn for all x ∈ X, and x^* =∑n=1^∞ x^*(xn)yn^* for all x^* ∈ X^*. Lastly, we consider the stability of a q-Besselian frame for the Banach space X under perturbation. Some results of J. R. Holub, P. G. Casazza, O. Christensen and others in Hilbert spaces are extended to Banach spaces.  相似文献

We determine the L p discrepancy of the two-dimensional Hammersley point set in base b. These formulas show that the L p discrepancy of the Hammersley point set is not of best possible order with respect to the general (best possible) lower bound on L p discrepancies due to Roth and Schmidt. To overcome this disadvantage we introduce permutations in the construction of the Hammersley point set and show that there always exist permutations such that the L p discrepancy of the generalized Hammersley point set is of best possible order. For the L 2 discrepancy such permutations are given explicitly. A convex d-polytope in ℝ d is called edge-antipodal if any two vertices that determine an edge of the polytope lie on distinct parallel supporting hyperplanes of the polytope. We introduce a program for investigating such polytopes, and examine those that are simple.   相似文献

L p approximation capability of radial basis function (RBF) neural networks is investigated. If g: R +1R 1 and ∈ L loc p (R n ) with 1 ≤ p < ∞, then the RBF neural networks with g as the activation function can approximate any given function in L p (K) with any accuracy for any compact set K in R n , if and only if g(x) is not an even polynomial. In this paper LJ-spaces are introduced and studied. They are a common generalization of Lindelöf spaces and J-spaces researched by E. Michael. A space X is called an LJ-space if, whenever {A, B} is a closed cover of X with AB compact, then A or B is Lindelöf. Semi-strong LJ-spaces and strong LJ-spaces are also defined and investigated. It is demonstrated that the three spaces are different and have interesting properties and behaviors.  相似文献

The following results are proved. In Theorem 1, it is stated that there exist both finitely presented and not finitely presented 2-generated nonfree groups which are k-free-like for any k ⩾ 2. In Theorem 2, it is claimed that every nonvirtually cyclic (resp., noncyclic and torsion-free) hyperbolic m-generated group is k-free-like for every k ⩾ m + 1 (resp., k ⩾ m). Finally, Theorem 3 asserts that there exists a 2-generated periodic group G which is k-free-like for every k ⩾ 3. Supported by NSF (grant Nos. DMS 0455881 and DMS-0700811). (A. Yu. Olshanskii, M. V. We characterise C*-quotients and C-quotients of completely regular frames in terms of ?ech-Stone compactifications and Lindelöfications, respectively. The latter is a frame-theoretic result with no spatial counterpart. We also characterise C*-quotients and dense C-quotients of completely regular frames in terms of normal covers.  相似文献

We classify graph C *-algebras, namely, Cuntz-Krieger algebras associated to the Bass-Hashimoto edge incidence operator of a finite graph, up to strict isomorphism. This is done by a purely graph theoretical calculation of the K-theory of the C *-algebras and the method also provides an independent proof of the classification up to Morita equivalence and stable equivalence of such algebras, without using the boundary operator algebra. A direct relation is given between the K 1-group of the algebra and the cycle space of the graph. We thank Jakub Byszewski for his input in Sect. 2.8. The position of the unit in K 0( Ч) was guessed based on some example calculations by Jannis Visser in his SCI 291 Science Laboratory at Utrecht University College.  相似文献

We consider the solutions of refinement equations written in the form
where the vector of functions ϕ = (ϕ 1, ..., ϕ r ) T is unknown, g is a given vector of compactly supported functions on ℝ s , a is a finitely supported sequence of r × r matrices called the refinement mask, and M is an s × s dilation matrix with m = |detM|. Inhomogeneous refinement equations appear in the construction of multiwavelets and the constructions of wavelets on a finite interval. The cascade algorithm with mask a, g, and dilation M generates a sequence ϕ n , n = 1, 2, ..., by the iterative process
from a starting vector of function ϕ 0. We characterize the L p -convergence (0 < p < 1) of the cascade algorithm in terms of the p-norm joint spectral radius of a collection of linear operators associated with the refinement mask. We also obtain a smoothness property of the solutions of the refinement equations associated with the homogeneous refinement equation. Let be a saturated formation containing the class of supersolvable groups and let G be a finite group. The following theorems are presented: (1) G ∈ if and only if there is a normal subgroup H such that G/H ∈ and every maximal subgroup of all Sylow subgroups of H is either c-normal or S-quasinormally embedded in G. (2) G ∈ if and only if there is a normal subgroup H such that G/H ∈ and every maximal subgroup of all Sylow subgroups of F*(H), the generalized Fitting subgroup of H, is either c-normal or S-quasinormally embedded in G.
