The complexation properties toward Hg(II) of six macrocyclic ligands, 3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L1), 7-(9-anthracenylmethyl)-3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L2), 7-(10-methyl-9-anthracenylmethyl)-3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L3), 7,7'-[9,10-anthracenediylbis(methylene)]bis-3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L4), 1,4,7-trithia-11-azacyclotetradecane (L5), and 11,-(anthracen-9-ylmethyl)-1,4,7-trithia-11-azacyclotetradecane (L6), were studied. The stoichiometries of the formed species were determined from absorption and fluorescence titrations. In these anthracene-containing macrocycles, a fluorescent quenching of the emission was found upon Hg(II) addition. The X-ray crystal structure of [HgCl2(L2)] x 1/2CH2Cl2 was determined. The asymmetric unit contains two independent [HgCl2(L2)] molecules and one dichloromethane molecule. Each Hg(II) ion is coordinated by the pyridine nitrogen, the two sulfur atoms of one L2 molecule, and two chloride ions. Analytical studies using solvent extraction separation of Hg(II) from aqueous solutions were performed to determine the Hg(II) extraction capability of ligands L1, L2, and L5.  相似文献

The properties of Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes with oxygen- or nitrogen-containing macrocycles have been extensively studied; however, less attention has been paid to the study of complexes containing sulfur atoms in the first coordination sphere. Herein we present the interaction between these two metal ions and two macrocyclic ligands with N2S2 donor sets. Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes with the pyridine-containing 14-membered macrocycles 3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L) and 7-(9-anthracenylmethyl)-3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L1) have been synthesized. The X-ray structural analysis of {[Co(ClO4)(H2O)(L)][Co(H2O)2(L)]}(ClO4)3 shows two different metal sites in octahedral coordination. The EPR spectra of powdered samples of this compound are typical of distorted six-coordinated Co(II) ions in a high-spin (S=3/2) configuration, with the ground state being S=1/2 (g1=5.20, g2=3.20, g3=1.95). The EPR spectrum of [Cu(ClO4)(L)](ClO4) was simulated assuming an axial g tensor (g1=g2=2.043, g3=2.145), while that of [Cu(ClO4)(L1)](ClO4) slightly differs from an axial symmetry (g1=2.025, g2=2.060, g3=2.155). These results are compatible with a Cu(II) ion in square-pyramidal coordination with N2S2 as basal ligands. Single-crystal EPR experiment performed on [Cu(ClO4)(L1)](ClO4) allowed determining the eigenvalues of the molecular g tensor associated with the copper site, as well as the two possible orientations for the tensor. On the basis of symmetry arguments, an assignment in which the eigenvectors are nearly along the Cu(II)-ligand bonds is chosen.  相似文献

The complete halide series of Ni(II) complexes containing the tetradentate macrocyclic ligand 3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L), was fully characterized by X-ray diffraction. The fluoro, chloro, and bromo complexes are dinuclear species with formula [{Ni(L)}2(mu-X)2]2+ (X = halide), whereas only mononuclear species with formula [Ni(Y)(solv)(L)]n+ (Y = halide or solvent molecule), were obtained with I. To date, the fluoro derivative is the first nonorganometallic coordination compound containing the Ni(mu-F)2Ni core. The magnetic properties of these halo complexes have been studied. Intramolecular interactions were observed in the three dinuclear complexes, being antiferromagnetic in the fluoro derivative and ferromagnetic in both the chloro and bromo ones. The two iodo derivatives are paramagnetic species, as would be expected for mononuclear octahedral Ni(II) complexes. Density functional theory calculations led us to relate the magnetic behaviors of these compounds to the values of the corresponding Ni-X-Ni(i) angle. The analysis of the singly occupied molecular orbitals gave a clear comprehension of the different magnetic exchange interactions found in these Ni(II) complexes.  相似文献

The novel pyridine-containing 14-membered macrocycle 3,11-dithia-7,17-diazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene (L), which contains an N2S2 donor set, was synthesized, and its protonation behavior was studied by absorption titration with CH3SO3H. The reaction of L with Pd(II) was studied spectroscopically, and the square-planar complex [Pd(L)](BF4) was isolated and characterized. The reactions between L and NiX2 x 6 H2O (X = BF4, ClO4) in ethanol or acetonitrile afforded the octahedral complexes [Ni(CH3CN)(H2O)(L)](X)2 and [Ni(H2O)2(L)](X)2, respectively. The square-planar complexes [Ni(L)](X)2 were obtained by heating these octahedral complexes. Spectrophotometric titrations of [Ni(L)](BF4)2 were performed with neutral and negatively charged ligands. The color of nitromethane solutions of this square-planar complex turns from red to cyan, purple, blue, yellow-green, and pink following addition of halides, acetonitrile, water, pyridine, and 2,2'-bipyridine, respectively. X-ray structural analyses were carried out on the {[Ni(ClO4)(H2O)(L)][Ni(H2O)2(L)]}(ClO4)3, [Ni(CH3CN)(H2O)(L)](ClO4)2, [{Ni(L)}2(mu-Cl)2](ClO4)2, and [{Ni(L)}2(mu-Br)2]Br2 x 2 CH3NO2 complexes.  相似文献

The X‐ray structure determinations of the two title compounds, namely 7‐methyl‐7,17‐diaza‐3,11‐diazoniabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca‐1(17),13,15‐triene dichloride monohydrate, C14H26N42+·2Cl?·H2O, (I), and 7‐methyl‐17‐aza‐3,7,11‐triazoniabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca‐1(17),13,15‐triene 2.826‐chloride 0.174‐nitrate, C14H27N43+·2.826Cl?·0.174NO3?, (II), are reported. Protonation occurs at the secondary amine N atoms in (I) and at all three amine N atoms in (II) to which the Cl? ions are linked via N—H?Cl hydrogen bonds. The macrocyclic hole is quite different in both structures, as is observed by comparing particularly the N3?N4 distances [2.976 (4) and 4.175 (4) Å for (I) and (II), respectively]. In (II), a Cl? ion alternates with an NO3? ion in a disordered structure.  相似文献

Two novel benzodioxotetraaza macrocycles [2,9-dioxo-1,4,7,10-tetraazabicyclo[10.4.0]1,11-hexadeca-1(11),13,15-triene (H2L1) and 2,10-dioxo-1,4,8,11-tetraazabicyclo[11.4.0]1,12-heptadeca-1(12),14,16-triene (H2L2)] were synthesized by a [1 + 1] crablike cyclization. The protonation constants of both ligands were determined by 1H NMR titration and by potentiometry at 25.0 degrees C in 0.10 M ionic strength in KNO3. The latter method was also used to ascertain the stability constants of their copper(II) complexes. These studies showed that the CuL1 complex has a much lower thermodynamic stability than the CuL2, and the H2L2 displays an excellent affinity for copper(II), due to the good fit of copper(II) into its cavity. The copper complexes of the novel ligands were characterized by electronic spectroscopy in solution and by crystal X-ray diffraction. These studies indicated that the copper center in the CuL1 complex adopts a square-pyramidal geometry with the four nitrogen atoms of the macrocycle forming the equatorial plane and a water molecule at axial position, and the copper in the CuL2 complex is square-planar. Several labeling conditions were tested, and only H2L2 could be labeled with 67Cu efficiently (>98%) in mild conditions (39 degrees C, 15 min) to provide a slightly hydrophilic radioligand (log D = -0.19 +/-0.03 at pH 7.4). The in vitro stability was studied in the presence of different buffers or with an excess of diethylenetriamine-pentaethanoic acid. Very high stability was shown under these conditions for over 5 days. The incubation of the radiocopper complex in human serum showed 6% protein binding.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the N-aminopropyl pendant arm derivatives (L1c-4c) of the mixed donor macrocyclic ligands [12]aneNS2O, [12]aneNS3, [12]aneN2SO, and [15]aneNS2O2(L1a-4a) towards Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), and Pb(II) in aqueous solution has been investigated. The protonation and stability constants with the aforementioned metal ions were determined potentiometrically and compared, where possible, with those of the unfunctionalised macrocycles. The measured values show that Hg(II) and Cu(II) in water have the highest affinity for all ligands considered, with the N-aminopropyl pendant arm weakly coordinating the metal centres. Crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction analysis were grown for the perchlorate salt (H2L1c)(ClO4)2.dmf, and for the 1 : 1 complexes [Cd(L3a)(NO3)2](1), [Cu(L4a)dmf](ClO4)2(2), [Zn(L1c)(ClO4)]ClO4(3), [Cd(L1c)(NO3)]NO3(4), and [Hg(L2c)](ClO4)2(5). Their structures show the macrocyclic ligands adopting a folded conformation, which for the 12-membered systems can be either [2424] or [3333] depending on the nature of the metal ion. L1c-4c were also functionalised at the primary amino pendant group with different fluorogenic subunits. In particular the N-dansylamidopropyl (Lnd, n= 1-4), and the N-(9-anthracenylmethyl)aminopropyl (Lne, n= 1, 2, 4, ) pendant arm derivatives of L1a-4a were synthesised and their optical responses to the above mentioned metal ions were investigated in MeCN/H2O (4 : 1 v/v) solutions.  相似文献

Two new fluorescent chemosensors for metal ions have been synthesized and characterized, and their photophysical properties have been explored; they are the macrocycles 5-(2-quinolinylmethyl)-2,8-dithia-5-aza-2,6-pyridinophane (L5) and 5-(5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinolinylmethyl)-2,8-dithia-5-aza-2,6-pyridinophane (L6). Both systems have a pyridyl-thioether-containing 12-membered macrocycle as a binding site. The coordination properties of these two ligands toward CuII, ZnII, CdII, HgII, and PbII have been studied in MeCN/H2O (1:1 v/v) and MeCN solutions and in the solid state. The stoichiometry of the species formed at 25 degrees C have been determined from absorption, fluorescence, and potentiometric titrations. The complexes [CuL5](ClO4)(2).1/2MeCN, [ZnL5(H2O)](ClO4)2, [HgL5(MeCN)](ClO4)2, [PbL5(ClO4)2], [Cu3(5-Cl-8-HDQH-1)(L6H-1)2](ClO4)(3).7.5H2O (HDQ=hydroxyquinoline), and [Cu(L6)2](BF4)(2).2MeNO2 have also been characterized by X-ray crystallography. A specific CHEF-type response of L5 and L6 to the presence of ZnII and CdII, respectively, has been observed at about pH 7.0 in MeCN/H2O (1:1 v/v) solutions.  相似文献

Three new bis-terdentate Schiff base [2 + 2] macrocycles (H(2)L(Et), H(2)L(Pr), and H(2)L(Bu)) have been prepared in high yields by 1:1 condensation of 2,2'-iminobisbenzaldehyde with 1,2-diaminoethane, 1,3-diaminopropane, and 1,4-diaminobutane, respectively. Metalation of these macrocycles yields the corresponding dicopper(II) acetate (1, 2, and 3) and tetrafluoroborate (4, 5, and 6) complexes. The structures of H(2)L(Et), H(2)L(Pr), H(2)L(Bu), [Cu(II)(2)L(i)(OAc)(2)]·solvents (where i is Et, Pr or Bu) and [Cu(II)(2)L(Pr)(DMF)(4)] (BF(4))(2)·0.5H(2)O are reported. Intramolecular hydrogen bonding is a feature of the metal-free macrocycles. The copper(II) centers in [Cu(II)(2)L(i)(OAc)(2)]·solvents are four coordinate, and the macrocycles have U-shaped (Et, Bu) or stepped (Pr) conformations. Complex 5 crystallizes with two dimethylformamide (DMF) molecules bound per five coordinate copper(II) center. Electrochemical studies revealed ligand based oxidations for all of the macrocycles and complexes. Complexes 1 and 2 undergo two quasi-reversible oxidations in DCM which are associated with the deposition of a visible film on the electrode after multiple scans in this oxidative region, suggestive of electropolymerization. Complexes 4-6, studied in MeCN, have Cu(II) → Cu(I) redox potentials at more positive potentials than for 1-3.  相似文献

An iron(II) complex with a pyridine-containing 14-membered macrocyclic (PyMAC) ligand L1 (L1 = 2,7,12-trimethyl-3,7,11,17-tetra-azabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene), 1, was prepared and characterized. Complex 1 contains low-spin iron(II) in a pseudo-octahedral geometry as determined by X-ray crystallography. Magnetic susceptibility measurements (298 K, Evans method) and M?ssbauer spectroscopy (90 K, δ = 0.50(2) mm/s, ΔE(Q) = 0.78(2) mm/s) confirmed that the low-spin configuration of Fe(II) is retained in liquid and frozen acetonitrile solutions. Cyclic voltammetry revealed a reversible one-electron oxidation/reduction of the iron center in 1, with E(1/2)(Fe(III)/Fe(II)) = 0.49 V vs Fc(+)/Fc, a value very similar to the half-wave potentials of related macrocyclic complexes. Complex 1 catalyzed the epoxidation of cyclooctene and other olefins with H(2)O(2). Low-temperature stopped-flow kinetic studies demonstrated the formation of an iron(IV)-oxo intermediate in the reaction of 1 with H(2)O(2) and concomitant partial ligand oxidation. A soluble iodine(V) oxidant, isopropyl 2-iodoxybenzoate, was found to be an excellent oxygen atom donor for generating Fe(IV)-oxo intermediates for additional spectroscopic (UV-vis in CH(3)CN: λ(max) = 705 nm, ε ≈ 240 M(-1) cm(-1); M?ssbauer: δ = 0.03(2) mm/s, ΔE(Q) = 2.00(2) mm/s) and kinetic studies. The electrophilic character of the (L1)Fe(IV)═O intermediate was established in rapid (k(2) = 26.5 M(-1) s(-1) for oxidation of PPh(3) at 0 °C), associative (ΔH(?) = 53 kJ/mol, ΔS(?) = -25 J/K mol) oxidation of substituted triarylphosphines (electron-donating substituents increased the reaction rate, with a negative value of Hammet's parameter ρ = -1.05). Similar double-mixing kinetic experiments demonstrated somewhat slower (k(2) = 0.17 M(-1) s(-1) at 0 °C), clean, second-order oxidation of cyclooctene into epoxide with preformed (L1)Fe(IV)═O that could be generated from (L1)Fe(II) and H(2)O(2) or isopropyl 2-iodoxybenzoate. Independently determined rates of ferryl(IV) formation and its subsequent reaction with cyclooctene confirmed that the Fe(IV)-oxo species, (L1)Fe(IV)═O, is a kinetically competent intermediate for cyclooctene epoxidation with H(2)O(2) at room temperature. Partial ligand oxidation of (L1)Fe(IV)═O occurs over time in oxidative media, reducing the oxidizing ability of the ferryl species; the macrocyclic nature of the ligand is retained, resulting in ferryl(IV) complexes with Schiff base PyMACs. NH-groups of the PyMAC ligand assist the oxygen atom transfer from ferryl(IV) intermediates to olefin substrates.  相似文献

The rigid, angular ligand 3,3,3',3'-tetramethyl-1,1'spirobisindane-5,5',6,6'-tetrol, LH4, in the form of its tetra-anion, L(4-), affords crystalline compounds containing the triangular macrocyclic boron derivative [B3L3](3-) with the counter cations, triethylammonium, imidazolium, tetraethylammonium, and protonated dabco (dabco = 1,4-diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octane). Within a triangular unit all three chiral L(4-) ligands have the same hand although the crystal does contain a racemic mixture of macrocycles. In all four compounds, one out of the three counter-cations per macrocycle is bound inside the macrocycle.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear, octahedral first-row transition metal ion complexes mer-[M(II)L0(2)](PF6)2 containing the tridentate neutral ligand 2,6-bis[1-(4-methoxyphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine (L0) and a Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), or Zn(II) ion have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry show that each dication (except those of Cu(II) and Zn(II)) can be reversibly one-electron-oxidized, yielding the respective trications [M(III)L0(2)]3+, and in addition, they can be reversibly reduced to the corresponding monocations [ML2]+ and the neutral species [ML2]0 by two successive one-electron processes. [MnL2]PF6 and [CoL2]PF6 have been isolated and characterized by X-ray crystallography; their electronic structures are described as [Mn(III)L1(2)]PF6 and [Co(I)L0(2)]PF6 where (L1)1- represents the one-electron-reduced radical form of L0. The electronic structures of the tri-, di-, and monocations and of the neutral species have been elucidated in detail by a combination of spectroscopies: UV-vis, NMR, X-band EPR, Mossbauer, temperature-dependent magnetochemistry. It is shown that pyridine-2,6-diimine ligands are noninnocent ligands that can be coordinated to transition metal ions as neutral L0 or, alternatively, as monoanionic radical (L1)1-. All trications are of the type [M(III)L0(2)]3+, and the dications are [M(II)L0(2)]2+. The monocations are described as [Mn(III)L1(2)]+ (S = 0), [Fe(II)L0L1]+ (S = 1/2), [Co(I)L0(2)]+ (S = 1), [Ni(I)L0(2)]+ (S = 1/2), [Cu(I)L0(2)]+ (S = 0), [Zn(II)L1L0]+ (S = 1/2) where the Mn(II) and Fe(II) ions are low-spin-configurated. The neutral species are described as [Mn(II)L1(2)]0, [Fe(II)L1(2)]0, [Co(I)L0L1]0, [Ni(I)L0L1]0, and [Zn(II)L1(2)]0; their electronic ground states have not been determined.  相似文献

Three new pendant arm Schiff-base macrocyclic complexes, [CdLn]2+ (n = 5, 6, 7), have been prepared via cyclocondensation of 2,6-diacetylpyridine with three different branched hexaamines in the presence of Cd(II). The ligands are 15-, 16- and 17-membered pentaaza macrocycles having two 2-aminoethyl pendant arms [L5 = 2,13-dimethyl-6,9-bis(aminoethyl)-3,6,9,12,18-pentaazabicyclo[12.3.1]octadeca-1(18),2,12,14,16-pentaene, L6 = 2,14-dimethyl-6,10-bis(aminoethyl)-3,6,10,13,19-pentaazabicyclo[13.3.1]nonadeca-1(19),2,13,15,17-pentaene and L7 = 2,15-dimethyl-6,11-bis(aminoethyl)-3,6,11,14,20-pentaazabicyclo[14.3.1]eicosa-1(20),2,14,16,18-pentaene]. All complexes were investigated by IR, 1H and 13C NMR, COSY(H,H) and HETCOR(H,C) spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. In the solid state structure of each complex the Cd(II) ion is situated centrally within an approximately planar pentaaza macrocyclic ring, binding to the five nitrogen atoms, and also to the two pendant amines which are located on opposite sides of the macrocyclic plane. ab initio HF-MO calculations using a standard 3-21G* basis set have been used to verify that these similar basic structures correspond to energy minima in the gas phase.  相似文献

Fourteen- to eighteen-membered tetraamide macrocyclic ligands N 4 L 1 -N 4 L 4 have been prepared by the condensation of 1,2-diaminoethane or 1,3-diaminopropane with malonic or succinic acid in the presence of condensing reagents dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and 4-dimethylaminopyridine. On reduction, these macrocyclic ligands give a new series of tetraazamacrocycles MacL 1 -MacL 4 which form complexes with tin(II) chloride. The ligands and their complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations, infrared and 1 H NMR spectral studies. The hexacoordinated state for tin has been confirmed by spectral studies. An octahedral geometry for these complexes has been proposed as the binding sites are the nitrogen atoms of the macrocycles. On the basis of the chemical composition the representation of the complexes as [Sn(MacL n )Cl 2 ] (n = 1-4) has been established. The ligands and their complexes also have been screened for their antifungal and antibacterial activities and the findings have been reported and explained.  相似文献

A new class of dithiostannanes and dithiogermanes have been prepared from 1,1'-binaphthyl-2,2'-dithiol and 3,3'-bis(trimethylsilyl)-1,1'-binaphtho-2,2'-dithiol. While reduction of 4-butyl-4-chloro-3,5-dithia-4-stanna-cyclohepta[2,1-a;3,4-a']dinaphthalene to the corresponding tin hydride was unsuccessful, 4-tert-butyl-3,5-dithia-4-germa-cyclohepta[2,1-a;3,4-a']dinaphthalene and 4-tert-butyl-2,6-bis(trimethylsilyl)-3,5-dithia-4-germa-cyclohepta[2,1-a;3,4-a']dinaphthalene were obtained by reduction of the parent germanium chlorides with NaBH(4) and LiBH(4), respectively. Kinetic constants for hydrogen transfer to a primary alkyl radical were measured for both germanium hydrides. Reduction of alpha-halo carbonyl compounds by these germanium hydrides occurs with moderate ee values (up to 42%), while hydrogermylation of methyl methacrylate occurs with low selectivity (<3/1) for the former hydride but high selectivity (>10/1) for the latter.  相似文献

Three new Mn(II) bis(pendant arm)-macrocyclic Schiff base complexes, [MnLn]2+(n = 1, 2, 3), have been prepared via cyclocondensation of 2,6-diacetylpyridine with three different branched hexadentate amines (3,6-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-3,6-diazaoctane-1,8-diamine (1), 3,7-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-3,7-diazanonane-1,9-diamine (2) and 3,8-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-3,8-diazadecane-1,10-diamine (3)) in the presence of MnCl2 in methanol. The ligands, L, are 15-, 16- and 17-membered pentaaza macrocycles having two 2-pyridylmethyl pendant arms [L1; 2,13-dimethyl-6,9-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-3,6,9,12,18-pentaazabicyclo[12.3.1]octadeca-1(18), 2, 12, 14, 16-pentaene, L2; 2,14-dimethyl-6,10- bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-3,6,10,13,19-pentaazabicyclo[13.3.1]nonadeca-1(19), 2, 13, 15, 17-pentaene and L3; 2,15-dimethyl-6,11-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-3,6,11,14,20-pentaazabicyclo[14.3.1]eicosa-1(20),2,14,16,18-pentaene]. All the complexes have been characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The crystal structure of [MnL1](ClO4)2·CH3CN has been determined and indicates that in the solid state, the complex adopts a slightly distorted pentagonal bipyramidal geometry with the Mn(II) centre located within a pentaaza macrocycle with two 2-pyridylmethyl pendants coordinating in the axial positions.  相似文献

A series of new platinum(II) complexes containing both 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dbbpy) and the extended tetrathiafulvalenedithiolate ligands have been prepared and characterized. These complexes include [Pt(dbbpy)(C8H4S8)] (1; C8H4S82- = 2-{(4,5-ethylenedithio)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene}-1,3-dithiol-4,5-dithiolate), [Pt(dbbpy)(ptdt)] (2; ptdt = 2-{(4,5-cyclopentodithio)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene}-1,3-dithiol-4,5-dithiolate), [Pt(dbbpy)(mtdt)] (3; mtdt = 2-{(4,5-methylethylenedithio)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene}-1,3-dithiol-4,5-dithiolate), [Pt(dbbpy)(btdt)] (4; btdt = benzotetrathiafulvalenedithiolate), [Pt(dbbpy)(C8H6S8)] (5; C8H6S82- = 2-{4,5-bis(methylthio)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene}-1,3-dithiol-4,5-dithiolate), [Pt(dbbpy)(3O-C6S8)] (6; 3O-C6S82- = 2-{4,5-dithia-(3',6',9'-trioxaundecyl)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene}-1,3-dithiol-4,5-dithiolate), and [Pt(dbbpy)(4O-C6S8)] (7; 4O-C6S82- = 2-{4,5-dithia-(3',6',9',12'-tetraoxatetradecyl)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene}-1,3-dithiol-4,5-dithiolate). The crystal structures of a new ligand precursor (2-[4,5-dithia-(3',6',9',12'-tetraoxatetradecyl)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene]-4,5-bis(2-cyanoethylsulfanyl)-1,3-dithiole, IIIc) and complexes 5-7 have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Complexes 1-7 show intense electronic absorption bands in the UV-vis region due to the intramolecular mixed metal/ligand-to-ligand charge-transfer transition, and they display significant solvatochromic behavior. Redox properties of these compounds have been investigated by cyclic voltammetry, and complex 7 shows a significant response for Na+ ions with a large positive shift of ca. 45 mV.  相似文献

The properties of the iron(III) complexes of the ditopic macrocyclic ligand with three aminopropyl pendant arms, L1 = 3,7,11-tris-(3-aminopropyl)-3,7,11,17-tetraazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadeca-1(17),13,15-triene were investigated in aqueous solution. Potentiometric studies indicated the presence of mononuclear [FeHhL1]h+3 (h = 0–3), and dinuclear [Fe2L1]6+, [Fe2L1(OH)]5+ and [Fe2L1(OH)2]4+ complexes, and their stability constants were determined at 298.2 K and ionic strength 0.10 mol dm−3 in KNO3. The log K values of mononuclear protonated species indicated the consecutive deprotonation of the aminopropyl arms, suggesting the nitrogen donor atoms from the macrocycle as the preferred coordination environment for the first metal centre, and the amines from the pendant arms for the second one. The dinuclear complex is formed at about 85% of the total amount of the metal ion for 2:1 Fe:L1 ratio solutions at pH 4.0–4.5. The log K values of the deprotonation of dinuclear hydrolysed species are consistent with the presence of two water molecules directly bound to the metal centres. Spectroscopic UV–Vis and IR data for 2:1 Fe3+:L1 ratio samples confirmed the existence of dinuclear and hydroxo dinuclear species. EPR spectra of these solutions were interpreted by an equilibrium of two high-spin d5 state of iron(III) species with different rhombic E/D distortions. Electrochemical studies also established the formation of mono- and dinuclear complexes, showing irreversible redox behaviour. The two metal centres on the dinuclear complexes have only weak interactions.  相似文献
