A phase shifting technique using a Michelson interferometry system is presented and applied to surface contour measurement. Hyperbolic fringes are produced by the interference of two spherical wavefronts expanded from a beam expander. The fringe pattern is projected on an object surface and the deformed grating image is captured by a CCD camera for subsequent analysis by a PC. Phase variation is achieved by a liquid-crystal device incorporated in the Michelson interferometry system. Results obtained using the proposed method for objects of various shapes and sizes compared well with those from a conventional profilometer.  相似文献

The performance of quantum key distribution such as one-way continuous variable protocols, can be increased by adding some noise on the reference side of error correction in the error-correction phase. For this reason, we here study this possibility in the case of two-way continuous variable system. Finally, the numerical results show that the using of additional noise gives two-way schemes better security performance in terms of secret key rates and resistance to channel excess noise.  相似文献

The dynamics of an optical phase locked loop (OPLL) with first order loop filter having inherent loop time delay is investigated. In the presence of delay, the system is modeled as a third order autonomous system. In the out of lock condition or during the process of locking, the dynamics of the system is highly nonlinear and different nonlinear phenomena, like limit cycle oscillation, period doubling, chaotic oscillations etc., may be observed with the variation of design parameters. Applying the techniques of the nonlinear dynamics, we have calculated the effects of the inherent loop time delay in determining the state of the loop. The analytical results predicting the parameter values for stable and unstable region of operation are obtained using the quasi-linear Routh–Hurwitz method. The parameter range required for the onset of chaotic oscillations is estimated by Melnikov's global perturbation method. The predicted results are in agreement with those obtained by numerical integration of system equations.  相似文献

金属增强型反射镜在入射光非正入射的时候,两个不同的偏振态之间会产生不同的相移。利用最优技术设计了一种相位延迟器,其工作波长在640-670nm之间,入射角在40-50°范围内时,反射率>99%且相移为90°±20°。波长在670nm附近时相移对入射角不敏感。膜层厚度误差对相移影响最大。  相似文献

A diamond phase retarder was applied to control the polarization states of a hard X‐ray free‐electron laser (XFEL) in the photon energy range 5–20 keV. The horizontal polarization of the XFEL beam generated from the planar undulators of the SPring‐8 Angstrom Compact Free‐Electron Laser (SACLA) was converted into vertical or circular polarization of either helicity by adjusting the angular offset of the diamond crystal from the exact Bragg condition. Using a 1.5 mm‐thick crystal, a high degree of circular polarization, 97%, was obtained for 11.56 keV monochromatic X‐rays, whereas the degree of vertical polarization was 67%, both of which agreed with the estimations including the energy bandwidth of the Si 111 beamline monochromator.  相似文献

We theoretically investigated the temporal profile of a background pedestal in a single-stage optical parametric chirped pulse amplification (OPCPA) system, and showed that the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) prepulse in the saturation regime degrades the contrast ratio. To improve the contrast ratio in a saturated OPCPA system, a method using pump pulse shaping and the time delay control between pump and seed pulses was utilized. Through numerical simulations, the effect of the rising time and the time delay of a pump pulse on the background pedestal was subsequently investigated in terms of the contrast ratio. From the simulation results, it was determined that an optimal rising time and the time delay of the pump pulse are critical for obtaining a high-contrast broadband laser pulse from a saturated OPCPA system.  相似文献

The conversion efficiency can be modified when the third harmonic is produced in the vicinity of an autoionizing state. 针对电力系统控制器设计中,控制器阶数过高且影响控制品质的问题,提出一种基于射影定理的降阶控制器设计新方法,并对射影定理做出改进,实现抑制低频振荡的高压直流附加阻尼控制.通过总体最小二乘-旋转不变技术分析系统振荡特性并辨识出相关模型,再基于极点配置得到状态反馈矩阵,最后利用改进的射影控制理论设计输出反馈降阶控制器,同时将控制器与传统的带观测器的极点配置控制方法进行比较.仿真验证表明,基于射影控制理论的控制器效果较好,控制器阶数较低,鲁棒性强,便于工程实现.  相似文献

The recent discovery of the new smectic-C(d6)(*) (SmC(d6)(*)) phase [S. Wang et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 104, 027801 (2010)] also revealed the existence of a noisy region in the temperature window between the SmC(d6)(*) phase and the smectic-C(d4)(*) (SmC(d4)(*)) phase. Characterized by multiple resonant peaks spanning a wide region in Q(Z), the corresponding structure of this temperature window has been a mystery. In this Letter, through a careful resonant x-ray diffraction study and simulations of the diffraction spectra, we show that this region is in fact an unusually large coexistence region of the SmC(d6)(*) phase and the SmC(d4)(*) phase. The structure of the noisy region is found to be a heterogeneous mixture of local SmC(d6)(*) and SmC(d4)(*) orders on the sub-μm scale.  相似文献

Meanderline wave plates are in common use at radio frequencies as polarization retarders. We present initial results of a gold meanderline structure on a silicon substrate that functions at a wavelength of 10.6 microm in the IR. The measured results show a distinct change in the polarization state of the incident beam after passing through the device, inducing a 74 degrees phase retardance between horizontal and vertical components. A high degree of polarization (88%) is maintained in the transmitted beam with an overall power transmittance of 38% and a beam profile that remains essentially unchanged.  相似文献

A ZnMgO and ZnO double-layered structure was prepared to create a stepwise interfacial electronic structure to improve the electron-injection and electron-transport behaviors in quantum-dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs). The current density of the electron-only device (EOD) with ZnMgO/ZnO was higher than that of the EOD with only ZnMgO. The detailed QLED interfacial electronic structure was measured using X-ray and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy. A stepwise interfacial electronic structure for electron injection and electron transport was observed connecting the aluminum cathode to the ZnMgO conduction band minimum (CBM) via the ZnO CBM. The QLEDs with the ZnMgO/ZnO double electron transport layer showed an improved performance, with a maximum luminance and current efficiency of 90,892 cd m−2 and 19.2 cd A−1, respectively. Moreover, the turn-on voltage of the device was significantly reduced to 2.6 V due to the stepwise interfacial electronic structure between the aluminum cathode and ZnMgO CBM. This research provides a useful method for developing highly efficient and low turn-on voltage QLEDs using a ZnMgO/ZnO double ETL for next-generation display.  相似文献

The pretilt angle of a twisted nematic(TN) liquid crystal display has a strong effect on viewing angles and response times of the display as well as shifting the light-leaking disclination lines into the black-matrix area within pixels of a thin-film-transistor driven TN panel for a high contrast ratio. In this Letter, we develop an optical method to determine the TN pretilt angle based on heterodyne measurements of the phase versus the incident angle of a thin TN cell subjected to out-of-plane rotations. We believe that our method of measuring phases has advantages of simpler setup and calculations, better stability, and less sensitive to ambient electromagnetic interference than the commonly used method of measuring intensities.  相似文献

An experimental study of the use of an S-transform to evaluate the phase distribution from a two-dimensional fringe pattern by introducing the carrier frequencies in two spatial directions, x and y, is presented. The phase distribution is extracted from the optical fringe pattern by using an S-transform gradient and S-transform phase methods. The experimental result for the Fourier transform profilometry algorithm is compared with the results of the S-transform analysis.  相似文献

We report the automated generation of high-fidelity spatiotemporally shaped femtosecond pulses by use of an optically addressed, two-dimensional liquid-crystal spatial light modulator. A single input pulse was divided into many independent regions, and each region was shaped temporally. 根据薄膜的偏振效应,运用TFCALC膜系设计软件,通过在菲涅耳菱体的2个全反射面蒸镀光学介质膜的方法设计了270°反射式相位延迟器.运用归一化测量方法得到出射光相位延迟量与温度的关系,发现出射光相位延迟量随温度的变化而发生扰动,扰动的出现影响了透射偏振光的质量.研究结果表明,透射光的相位延迟量与膜料的折射率、基底与膜料之间的应力以及膜料之间的应力等因素有关.  相似文献

In this paper,we propose an ellipsometer using a phase retarder and rotating polarizer and analyzer at a speed ratio 1:N.Different ellipsometric configurations are presented by assuming N = 1,2,and 3.Moreover,two values of the offset angle of the retarder are considered for each ellipsometric configuration.The Mueller formalism is employed to extract the Stokes parameters,from which the intensity received by the detector is obtained.The optical properties of c-Si are calculated using all configurations.A comparison between different configurations is carried out considering the effect of the noise on the results and the uncertainties in the ellipsometric parameters as functions of the uncertainties of the Fourier coefficients.It is found that the alignment of the phase retarder has a crucial impact on the results and the ellipsometric configuration with speed ratio 1:1 is preferred over the other configurations.  相似文献

随着车辆向大型化,高速化的发展趋势,车辆正常行驶制动能量增加,传统的摩擦制动器已经难以满足使用要求,很容易诱发一些故障。电涡流缓速器以其非接触无摩擦,响应时间短,无明显时间滞后,工作时噪声很小,能够提供车辆正常行驶85%的制动功率等优点成为新型的车辆辅助制动系统。本文采用ANSYS软件实现电涡流缓速器转子盘的二维温度场分析,对不同宽度的转筒式电涡流缓速器的温度分布进行数据采集,建立转筒式电涡流缓速器转筒的二维模型,采用虚拟边界法进行简化处理,然后根据系统不同的载荷和约束条件进行温度场控制系统建模。最后本文做了大量的仿真实验,模拟了依据不同的制动力矩,不同的磁路结构以及转子盘温升来分析对汽车制动性的影响。  相似文献

A vast majority of compounds with bent core or banana shaped molecules exhibit the phase sequence B6-B1-B2 as the chain length is increased in a homologous series. The B6 phase has an intercalated fluid lamellar structure with a layer spacing of half the molecular length. The B1 phase has a two dimensionally periodic rectangular columnar structure. The B2 phase has a monolayer fluid lamellar structure with molecules tilted with respect to the layer normal. Neglecting the tilt order of the molecules in the B2 phase, we have developed a frustrated packing model to describe this phase sequence qualitatively. The model has some analogy with that of the frustrated smectics exhibited by highly polar rod like molecules.  相似文献

A thin superconducting wire (bridge) subjected to a voltage gradient is studied via the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau system under bridge geometry boundary conditions. Our numerical experiments reveal a rich array of phase slip center behavior, period-doubling, period-tripling and quasi-periodic solutions. We show that the parameter plane (L, V), where 2L =  wire length, V =  voltage, is partitioned into regimes, where the solutions exhibit different periodicity. In particular we find that when L is below a certain critical value, the system always evolves to a state that has the basic Josephson period P = 2π/V.  相似文献
