In a recent paper by the author and Golubkov, it was proved that a strongly prime Lie PI-algebra with an algebraic adjoint representation over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 is simple and finite dimensional. In this note, we derive this result from a more general one on strongly prime Lie PI-algebras with abelian minimal inner ideals, which is closely related to the intrinsic characterization of simple finitary Lie algebras with abelian minimal inner ideals.  相似文献

We introduce and study a Hopf algebra containing the descent algebra as a sub-Hopf-algebra. It has the main algebraic properties of the descent algebra, and more: it is a sub-Hopf-algebra of the direct sum of the symmetric group algebras; it is closed under the corresponding inner product; it is cocommutative, so it is an enveloping algebra; it contains all Lie idempotents of the symmetric group algebras. Moreover, its primitive elements are exactly the Lie elements which lie in the symmetric group algebras.  相似文献

A Lie module algebra for a Lie algebra L is an algebra and L-module A such that L acts on A by derivations. The depth Lie algebra of a Lie algebra L with Lie module algebra A acts on a corresponding depth Lie module algebra . This determines a depth functor from the category of Lie module algebra pairs to itself. Remarkably, this functor preserves central simplicity. It follows that the Lie algebras corresponding to faithful central simple Lie module algebra pairs (A,L) with A commutative are simple. Upon iteration at such (A,L), the Lie algebras are simple for all i ∈ ω. In particular, the (i ∈ ω) corresponding to central simple Jordan Lie algops (A,L) are simple Lie algebras. The purpose of this paper is to give a brief introduction to the category of Lie Rinehart algebras and introduces the concept of smooth manifolds associated with a unitary, commutative,associative algebra A.It especially shows that the A-extended algebra as well as the action algebra can be realized as the space of A-left invariant vector fields on a Lie group,analogous to the well known relationship of Lie algebras and Lie groups.  相似文献

Xu introduced a family of root-tree-diagram nilpotent Lie algebras of differential operators, in connection with evolution partial differential equations. We generalized his notion to more general oriented tree diagrams. These algebras are natural analogues of the maximal nilpotent Lie subalgebras of finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras. In this article, we use Hodge Laplacian to study the cohomology of these Lie algebras. The “total rank conjecture” and “b 2-conjecture” for the algebras are proved. Moreover, we find the generating functions of the Betti numbers by means of Young tableaux for the Lie algebras associated with certain tree diagrams of single branch point. By these functions and Euler–Poincaré principle, we obtain analogues of the denominator identity for finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras. The result is a natural generalization of the Bott's classical result in the case of special linear Lie algebras.  相似文献

A Lie atom is essentially a pair of Lie algebras and its deformation theory is that of a deformation with respect to the first algebra, endowed with a trivialization with respect to the second. Such deformations occur commonly in algebraic geometry, for instance as deformations of subvarieties of a fixed ambient variety. Here we study some basic notions related to Lie atoms, focussing especially on their deformation theory, in particular the universal deformation. We introduce Jacobi–Bernoulli cohomology, which yields the deformation ring, and show that, under suitable hypotheses, infinitesimal deformations are classified by certain Kodaira–Spencer data. In this article, we introduce the notion of the equivalence relation, n-isoclinism, between Lie algebras, and obtain some criterions under which Lie algebras are n-isoclinic. In particular, we show that n-isoclinic Lie algebras can be isoclinically embedded into one Lie algebra. Also, we present the notion of an n-stem Lie algebra and prove its existence within an arbitrary n-isoclinism class. In addition, similar to a result of Hekster [6 Hekster , N. S. ( 1986 ). On the structure of n-isoclinam classes of groups . J. Pure Appl. We characterize hereditary (as coalgebras) Hopf algebras by the property of ‘equivariant smoothness’, and apply the result to generalize to the super-context, the category equivalence, due to Hochschild, between the unipotent algebraic affine groups and the finite-dimensional nilpotent Lie algebras, in characteristic zero. We focus on the notion of an integrable root in the framework of split Lie triple systems T with a coherent 0-root space. As a main result, it is shown that if T has all its nonzero roots integrable, then its standard embedding is a split Lie algebra having all its nonzero roots integrable. As a consequence, a local finiteness theorem for split Lie triple systems, saying that whenever all nonzero roots of T are integrable then T is locally finite, is stated. Finally, a classification theorem for split simple Lie triple systems having all its nonzero roots integrable is given.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the Lie algebras in which every subspace is its subalgebra (denoted by HB Lie algebras). We get that a nonabelian Lie algebra is an HB Lie algebra if and only if it is isomorphic to g+Cidg, where g is an abelian Lie algebra. Moreover we show that the derivation algebra and the holomorph of a nonabelian HB Lie algebra are complete.  相似文献

We study ideals of Novikov algebras and Novikov structures on finite-dimensional Lie algebras. We present the first example of a three-step nilpotent Lie algebra which does not admit a Novikov structure. On the other hand we show that any free three-step nilpotent Lie algebra admits a Novikov structure. We study the existence question also for Lie algebras of triangular matrices. Finally we show that there are families of Lie algebras of arbitrary high solvability class which admit Novikov structures.  相似文献
