The ring current and local anisotropic contributions to the 1H chemical shifts of [n]annuleno[m]annulenes and [n]annulenyl[m]annulenes with n, m = 12, 14, 18 and n, m = 13, 15 are calculated. The agreement between experimental and calculated shifts for the few known compounds is very good so that the predictions for the as yet unknown compounds are reliable. The effect of an annulene ring on the shifts of the protons at the other ring in these bicyclic compounds is discussed for several types of fusion of the two constituent annulenes.  相似文献

We have developed an efficient chemical resolution of racemic hydroxy substituted dithia-aza[4]helicenes (DTA[4]H) 1(OH) using enantiopure acids as resolving agents. The better diastereomeric separation was achieved on esters prepared with (1S)-(−)-camphanic acid. Subsequent simple manipulations produced highly optically pure (≥ 99% enantiomeric excess) (P) and (M)-1(OH) in good yields. The role of the position where the chiral auxiliary is inserted (cape- vs. bay-zone) and the structure of the enantiopure acid used on successful resolution are discussed.  相似文献

The structural complexity of mechanically interlocked molecules are very attractive to chemists owing to the challenges they present. In this article, novel mechanically interlocked molecules with a daisy‐chain‐containing hetero[4]rotaxane motif were efficiently synthesized. In addition, a novel integrative self‐sorting strategy is demonstrated, involving an ABB‐type (A for host, dibenzo‐24‐crown‐8 (DB24C8), and B for guest, ammonium salt sites) monomer and a macrocycle host, benzo‐21‐crown‐7 (B21C7), in which the assembled species in hydrogen‐bonding‐supported solvent only includes a novel daisy‐chain‐containing hetero[4]pseudorotaxane. The found self‐sorting process involves the integrative recognition between B21C7 macrocycles and carefully designed components simultaneously containing two types of secondary ammonium ions and a host molecule, DB24C8 crown ether. The self‐sorting strategy is integrative to undertake self‐recognition behavior to form one single species of pseudorotaxane compared with the previous report. This self‐sorting system can be used for the efficient one‐pot synthesis of a daisy‐chain‐containing hetero[4]rotaxane in a good yield. The structure of hetero[4]rotaxane was confirmed by 1H NMR spectroscopy and high‐resolution electrospray ionization (HR‐ESI) mass spectrometry.  相似文献

A subphthalocyanine trimer built around a dehydro[18]annulene core was prepared. The synthesis was achieved through direct homocoupling of an ortho-diethynyl-functionalized subphthalocyanine, obtained by palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling of the corresponding diiodo-subphthalocyanine with an ethynyl derivative. The lower analogue dehydro[12]annulene did not form in these homocoupling conditions. The trimers were fully characterized and their electrochemical properties investigated.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The stabilization energies (B3LYP/6-31G) of planar [4n]annulenes, evaluated by a new indene-isoindene isomerization method (see Abstract graphic), reveal that all 4n pi-electron rings larger than the energetically unfavorable cyclobutadiene are only slightly destabilized by the pi-electron interactions. Cyclooctatetraene prefers the "tub" conformation because of strain effects. Generally, the antiaromatic character of the larger systems with 4n pi-electrons is revealed best by their magnetic properties rather than by their energies.  相似文献

Reaction of 19-hydroxyandrosta-4,6-diene-3,17-dione (8b) and the corresponding Δ7-compound (8c) with diethyl-(2-chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl)-amine affords 5β,19-cyclo-Δ1,6- and 5β,19-cyclo-Δ1,7-3-ketones (4b) and (4c) respectively. Solvolysis experiments with the 19-tosylates of the 19-hydroxy-Δ4,6- and Δ4,7-3-ketones (8b) and 8c) are described as alternate approaches to (4b) and (4c). Exposure of 5β,19-cyclo compounds (4b) and (4c) to acetic anhydride-acetic acid-p-toluenesulfonic acid yields the respective 3-acetoxycycloheptatrienes (5a) and (6a). The latter substance (6a) is converted into the novel tetracyclic 1,6-methano-[10]annulene (2a) on exposure to N-bromosuccinimide in boiling carbon tetrachloride. Synthesis of the corresponding 3-methoxy- and 3-desoxy-1,6-methano-[10]annulenes (2b) and (2c) are also described. The NMR spectra of (2a), (2b) and (2c) and related intermediates are discussed.  相似文献

The low temperature complete dehydrohalogenation of pentabromocyclododecene (C12H17Br5) with potassium tert-butoxide in THF followed by exposure to potassium metal leads to the formation of the anion radical of 1,5-di-trans-[12]annulene, which loses hydrogen and undergoes ring closure to form the anion radical of 11,12-dihydro-[8]annuleno-[6]annulene. This product can, in turn, be isolated as its neutral molecule via reoxidation with iodine. A [12]annulene obtained via the dimerization of 1,5-hexadiyne in the presence of 18-crown-6 and potassium tert-butoxide undergoes ring closure, with concomitant loss of hydrogen, to yield the heptalene anion radical. It follows that the heptalene anion radical precursor was the 1,7-di-trans isomer of [12]annulene.  相似文献

The synthesis of a novel pH‐sensitive hetero[4]rotaxane molecular machine through a self‐sorting strategy is reported. The original tetra‐interlocked molecular architecture combines a [c2]daisy chain scaffold linked to two [2]rotaxane units. Actuation of the system through pH variation is possible thanks to the specific interactions of the dibenzo‐24‐crown‐8 (DB24C8) macrocycles for ammonium, anilinium, and triazolium molecular stations. Selective deprotonation of the anilinium moieties triggers shuttling of the unsubstituted DB24C8 along the [2]rotaxane units.  相似文献

Maps of current density induced by a perpendicular external magnetic field are calculated at the ipsocentric CTOCD-DZ/6-31G**//B3PW91/6-31G** level for ring carbo-mers of [N]-annulenes (closed-shell singlet states of C(3N)H, N = 3 to 7, with q = -1, 0, +1, 0, -1, respectively, and also the triplet ground state for N = 4) and of [N]-cycloalkanes (C(3N)H(qN), N = 3, 4, 5). Strong four-electron diatropic ring currents indicate conventional pi aromaticity for all the singlet and triplet carbo-[N]annulenes studied, with the exception of C(12)H(4), where instead the strong two-electron paratropic ring current is the signature of pi antiaromaticity. The carbo-[N]cycloalkanes (also known as [N]pericyclynes) show only localized pi currents, consistent with non-aromaticity. There is no indication of a 'homo-aromatic' ring current attributable to the in-plane pi orbitals of the inserted C2 units in any of the maps. Consequences for the interpretation of ELF (electron localisation function) populations are discussed.  相似文献

One linear template 13 and one cyclophane template 15, both incorporating two electron rich 1,4‐dialkoxybenzene units and one diamide unit, have been synthesized. By utilizing donor‐acceptor interaction and/or intermolecular hydrogen bonding assembling principles, one novel hetero[3]rotazane 22·4Cl, possessing one neutral and one tetracationic ring components, has been synthesized from 13, through neutral [2]rotaxane 21 as intermediate. With 15 as template, tetracationic [2]catenane 23·4PF6 was assembled by using donor‐acceptor interaction, but no neutral [2]rotaxane could be obtained under the typical conditions of hydrogen bonding assembling principle. The interlocked supramolecular compounds have been characterized and their spectral properties are investigated.  相似文献
