Chiral SU(4) × SU(4) breaking: masses and decay constants of charmed hadrons

The (4, 4*) ⊕ (4*, 4) model of broken chiral SU (4) × SU (4) symmetry has been used to calculate the third-order coupling constants involving charmed and ordinary pseudoscalar mesons. These coupling constants are exploited to derive some interesting new relations among the masses and decay constants of these charmed particles. Using the known masses and decay constants as inputs, we exploit these relations to predict:F _D = −1·41F _π ,F _F = −1·13F _π ,F _D/F_F = 1·25,m(D _s) = 1·43 GeV,m(F _s) = 1·39 GeV andm(K _s) = 1·02 GeV.     

Magnetic moments of baryons in broken SU(4)

Assuming that the anomalous magnetic moment interaction has the formaT ₁ ¹ +bT ₂ ² +cT ₄ ⁴ +sT _α ^α in SU(4), which may arise due to symmetry breaking or some other dynamical effects, we have obtained the magnetic moments and the transition moments of the ordinary and charmed baryons.     

Large SU（3） Symmetry Breaking in J／ψ→BB Decays

Large SU(3) symmetry breaking effects in J/ψ→BB decay processes are discussed using the Mark I,Mark II,DM2 and the recent data from BES Collaboration.     

Adjoint representation admixture to weak nonleptonic decays in SU(4) and SU(8)

In order to remove some of the unsatisfactory features of the GIM model, we consider15-admixture in SU(4). ΔC=±ΔS decays remain unaffected. Lee-Sugawara sum-rule is obtained.15-admixture is extended then to63-admixture in SU(8). The most general Hamiltonian (H _w∼63⊕720⊕1232) in SU(8) is found to give Lee-Sugawara relation and Σ₊ ⁺=0 forS-wave decays of uncharmed baryons. Decay amplitude relations for ΔC=−1, ΔS=0 mode are obtained.     

Strange magnetic moments of octet baryons under SU (3) breaking

Magnetic moments of octet baryons are parameterized to all orders of the flavor SU(3) breaking with the irreducible tensor technique in order to extract the contribution of each flavor quark to the magnetic moments of the octet baryons. The not-yet measured magnetic moment of ∑⁰ is predicted to be 0.649μ_N. Our parameterized forms for the magnetic moments are explicitly flavor-dependent, and hence each flavor component of the magnetic moments can be evaluated directly via the flavor projection operator. It is found that the strange magnetic moment of the nucleon is suppressed due to the small isoscalar anomalous magnetic moment of the nucleon. In particular, the strange magnetic form factor of the nucleon turns out to be positive, G_N^s(0)=0.428μ_N, which is consistent with recent data.

Completeness Relation of the SU(3) Charged and Hypercharged Coherent State

Using the MelJin inversion formulas we derive the weight function for constructing the completeness relation of the boson SU(3) charged and hypercharged coherent state. A suitable contour integration is selected for this derivation.     

Magnetic moments ofb-quark baryons in broken SU(5) symmetry

The magnetic moments ofb-quark baryons within the framework of five quark models are derived. Also the transition magnetic moments of variousb-quark baryons are calculated.     

TRIGONOMETRIC SU(N) GAUDIN MODEL

In this paper, we obtain the eigenstates and the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonians of the trigonometric SU(N) Gaudin model based on the quasi-classical limit of the trigonometric SU(N) chain with the periodic boundary condition. By using the quantum inverse scattering method, we also obtain the eigenvalues of the generating function of the trigonometric SU(N) Gaudin model.     

SU (8) mass relations amongJ P=1/2+ and 3/2+ baryons

Mass relations among charmed and uncharmed baryons belonging to20 and20′ multiplets of SU(4) are derived in the framework of SU(8) symmetry, Spin singlet mass breaking interaction is found to give unsatisfactory results. Second order effects and spin triplet mass breaking interactions are studied to improve the situation.     

SU(4), broken Zweig rule and the null plane

Using Glauber’s theory of eikonal approximation, an algebraic representation of the broken Zweig rule in the constituent quark model is obtained. Null plane language is then elaborated. It is pointed out that the exotic current associated with the disconnected quark diagrams, which break the Zweig rule, can have canonical dimension.     

利用SU（2）_（q，s）量子代数的两参数变形振子实现讨论SU（2）_（q，s）相干态

利用ＳＵ（２）ｑ，ｓ量子代数的两参数变形振子实现构造出与Ｐｅｒｅｌｏｍｏｖ相干态形式不同的ＳＵ（２）ｑ，ｓ相干态．证明了ＳＵ（２）ｑ，ｓ，量子代数的表示基是正交的，并讨论了它的相干态的归一性和完备性．指出ＳＵ（２）ｑ，ｓ相干态的相干性受参数ｑ，ｓ的影响，它比单参数变形ＳＵ（２）ｑ相干态更具一般性．     

Rational SU(3) Gaudin Model

The Hamiltonians of the SU(3) Gaudin model are constructed based on the nonrelativistic limit of the SU(3) chain.After the quantum determinant being well defined,the eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the Hamiltonians of the SU(3) Geudin model are given.These results can be generalized to any number of constituting spins (SU(N)).     

Weinberg-Salam model and chiral symmetry of mesons

Weinberg-Salam model is considered in the light of SU(4) × SU(4) chiral symmetry for mesons. The Higgs doublet and the pseudoscalar mesons mix in this framework. Consequences of this mixing for the Higgs decays and the nonleptonic decays of the mesons are explored.     

ψ(2S)→VP衰变中赝标量介子混合的研究

利用BES合作组给出的ψ(2S)→VP各个衰变道的分支比, 对赝标量介子混合的问题做了分析, 利用ψ(2S)数据来研究赝标量介子的混合尚属首次. 通过参数拟合, 可以得到η和η′的混合角θ_p=(－7.54±1.52)°,这个结果与由二次Gell-Mann-Okubo质量公式所得出的结果相符. 另外,通过分析还可以得到在ψ(2S)→VP中DOZI过程相对于SOZI过程的贡献约为14%; 电磁衰变振幅和强相互作用振幅之间的相角θ_e=(156±89)°.     

Sum rules for the baryon20, baryon20′ and meson 16-plet coupling constants in broken SU (4) and SU (3) symmetry

Sum rules for the coupling constants for D (20), B (20′) and P (16) are given taking into account first order breaking of SU (4) and SU (3) symmetries. The D (20) and B (20′) contain the usual 3/2⁺ baryon decuplet and 1/2⁺ baryon octet of SU (3), while the P (16) contains the usual pseudoscalar octet of pions, etc. These sum rules generalize the decuplet → octet + octet sum rules of broken SU (3 to a broken SU (4) symmetry scheme, in particular the charm SU (4) for hadrons. It is pointed out that, of the many sum rules, it may be possible to check some of them experimentally (see Section 5) and thus provide a test for an underlying SU (4 symmetry for strong interactions.     

Mixing of meson isosinglets in SU(5) and an extension to SU(N)

The mixing angles of meson isosinglets belonging to the 24-dimensional and singlet representations of SU(5) are calculated under specific assumptions in the non-relativistic quark model. The procedure to extend the scheme to SU(N) has been outlined. The results have been compared with other earlier estimates.     

SU (3) Chern-Simons field theory in three-manifolds

We present the solution of the non-Abelian SU (3) Chern-Simons field theory defined in a generic three-manifold which is closed, connected and orientable. The surgery rules, which permit us to solve the theory, are derived and several examples of vacuum expectation values of Wilson line operators are computed. The three-manifold invariant associated with the non-Abelian SU (3) Chern-Simons model is defined and its values are computed for various three-manifolds.     

SU(6)破缺效应对核子形状因子的贡献

最近杰斐逊实验室测量了中子的两个弹性电磁形状因子之比GEn/GMn,它反映了中子内部的电磁分布并能帮助理解中子的内部结构.传统的相对论组分夸克模型在解释质子的两种电磁形状因子之比GEp/GMp是很成功的,但在解释中子的该比值时计算值比实验值要低.为了解释这种现象,我们在相对论组分夸克模型框架下计算考察了SU(6)破缺效应的贡献.发现考虑该破缺效应后的计算结果同实验符合有明显改善.     

SU(2)Thirring模型边界算子的Boson表达式

得到了有边界的SU(2)Thirring模型的反射矩阵Rab(θ),以及相应的边界算子的Boson表达式.
