The quantum gravity may have strong consequence for neutrino oscillation phenemomenon over a large distance. We found a significant modification of neutrino oscillation due to quantum gravity effects. Quantum gravity (Planck scale effects) leads to an effective S U(2) L ×U(1) invariant dimension-5 Lagrangian involving, neutrino and Higgs fields. On symmetry breaking, this operator gives rise to correction to the neutrino masses and mixing. The gravitational interaction (M X =M p l ) demands that the element of this perturbation matrix should be independent of flavor indices. In this paper, we study the quantum gravity effects on neutrino oscillation, namely modified dispersion relation for neutrino oscillations parameter. 相似文献

We show that the neutrino Majorana masses can be incorporated within a composite technicolor standard model. We discuss the bounds on the parameters of such a model arising from the failure to observe lepton-number violating processes. 相似文献

We study the B c meson rare decay in order to search for the Majorana neutrino signal. It is found that the corresponding decay rate is sensitive to the Majorana neutrino mass and mixing angles. The signal of B±c→ l±1l±2 M induced by the Majorana neutrino within the mass region mπmnmB may be observed at LHCb. 相似文献

Current experiment results show that neutrinos have non-zero masses and that different neutrino flavours may mix and undergo a transformation to each other. Neglecting matter effects for simplicity and by solving the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker geodesic equations of the time-like particle, we preparatively investigate the vacuum oscillation or separation of neutrinos on the cosmic scale. 相似文献

In this paper we consider neutrino oscillation in general curved space-times. Then we calculate neutrino oscillation length in the R-charged black hole background, which is a five dimensional space-time, and compare it with the results of various backgrounds. We obtain effect of the electrical charge corresponding to the chemical potential on the oscillation length. 相似文献

There is good agreement between the neutrino mass square difference determined from the solar neutrino and anti-neutrino mass square difference from the KamLAND reactor antineutrino. We consider as special case of matter density profile, which are relevant for neutrino oscillation physics. In particular, we compute to constrain a specific from of CPT violation in matter by upper bound, $|\varDelta_{21}^{m}-\overline{\varDelta_{21}^{m}}| \ll 1.098\times10^{-4}~\mathrm{eV}^{2}$ and $|\sin2\theta_{12}^{m}-\sin2\bar{\theta}_{12}^{m}|<0.0057$ . In this paper, we discuss CPT violation on neutrino oscillation in matter. The dispersion relation for the CPT violation in neutrino oscillation in matter are discussed. 相似文献

Electric charge neutrality provides a relationship between chiral dynamics and neutrino propagation in compact stars. Due to the sudden drop of the electron density at the first-order chiral phase transition, the oscillation for low energy neutrinos is significant and can be regarded as a signature of chiral symmetry restoration in the core of compact stars. 相似文献

We study the mass neutrino interference phase in Schwarzschild-de Sitter space time along the null trajectory and the geodesic line and obtain the effects of cosmological constant A on the neutrino oscillation. Firstly, in the high energy limit, we find that the phase along the geodesic keeps the double of that along the null. Secondly, we calculate the phase on the condition that the cosmological constant, A, is a small quantity. The correction of the phase due to A is given. Finally, we calculate the proper oscillation length in Schwarzschild-de Sitter space-time, which increases because of the existence of A, compared with the result in Schwarzschild space-time. All of our results can be reduced to those in Schwarzschild space-time as A approaches to zero. 相似文献

In a novel parametrization of neutrino mixing and in the approximation of т-lepton dominance, we show that the one-loop renormalization-group equations (RGEs) of Dirac neutrinos are different from those of Majorana neutrinos even if two Majorana CP-violating phases vanish. As the latter can keep vanishing from the electroweak scale to the typical seesaw scale, it makes sense to distinguish between the RGE running effects of neutrino mixing parameters in Dirac and Majorana cases. The differences are found to be quite large in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with sizable tanβ, provided the masses of three neutrinos are nearly degenerate or have an inverted hierarchy. 相似文献

We show how the traditional grid based method for finding neutrino oscillation parameters m2 and tan 2θ can be combined with an optimization technique,Differential Evolution(DE),to get a significant decrease in computer processing time required to obtain minimal chi-square(χ2) in four different regions of the parameter space. We demonstrate efficiency for the two-neutrinos case. For this, the χ2 function for neutrino oscillations is evaluated for grids with different density of points in standard allowed regions of the parameter space of m2 and tan 2θ using experimental and theoretical total event rates of chlorine(Homestake),Gallex+GNO,SAGE,Superkamiokande, and SNO detectors. We find that using DE in combination with the grid based method with small density of points can produce the results comparable with the one obtained using high density grid,in much lesser computation time. 相似文献

The mass neutrino interference phase in a global monopole space time along the null trajectory and the geodesic is studied,
and we find that the conserved energy changes a factor when a particle travels along the geodesic, if compared with the energy
in the space time without the global monopole. The oscillation phase is increased by a factor due to the correction of the
global monopole, comparing with the case in Schwarzschild space time. We obtain that the type-I phase along both the null
and geodesic has a difference of a factor of 1−8π
η
2, and that the phase along the geodesic is the double of that along the null. 相似文献

We give a phenomenological model of CPT violating neutrino oscillation above the GUT scale. In this paper, we consider the
effect of Planck scale operators on neutrino mixing. We assume that the main part of neutrino masses and mixing arise through
GUT scale operators The dispersion relation for the CPT violating neutrino and anti-neutrino oscillation are discussed. 相似文献

We analyse the structure of the neutrino mass matrix and the pattern of neutrino oscillations in the O(10) model with radiatively induced Majorana masses. In particular, we show that the possibility of experimentally interesting neutrino oscillations is left open. 相似文献
