Proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) is a method to derive reduced-order models for dynamical systems. In this paper, POD is utilized to solve open-loop and closed-loop optimal control problems for the Burgers equation. The relative simplicity of the equation allows comparison of POD-based algorithms with numerical results obtained from finite-element discretization of the optimality system. This paper deals with a general class of piecewise deterministic control systems that encompasses FMS flow control models. One uses the Markov renewal decision process formalism to characterize optimal policies via a discrete event dynamic programming approach. A family of control problems with a random stopping time is associated with these optimality conditions. These problems can be reformulated as infinite horizon deterministic control problems. It is then shown how the so-calledturnpike property should hold for these deterministic control problems under classical convexity assumptions. In recent years, the finite-horizon quadratic minimization problem has become popular in process control, where the horizon is constantly rolled back. In this paper, this type of control, which is also called the receding horizon control, is considered for interconnected systems. First, the receding horizon control equations are formulated; then, some stability conditions depending on the interconnection norms and the horizon lengths are presented. For -coupled systems, stability results similar to centralized systems are obtained. For interconnected systems which are not -coupled, the existence of a horizon length and a corresponding stabilizing receding horizon control are derived. Finally, the performance of a locally computed receding horizon control for time-invariant and time-varying systems with different updating intervals is examined in an example.  相似文献

Stochastic differential equation (SDE) models are useful in describing complex dynamical systems in science and engineering. In this study, we consider a monitoring procedure for an early detection of dispersion parameter change in SDE models. The proposed scheme provides a useful diagnostic analysis for phase I retrospective study and develops a flexible and effective control chart for phase II prospective monitoring. A standardized control chart is constructed, and a bootstrap method is used to estimate the mean and variance of the monitoring statistic. The control limit is obtained as an upper percentile of the maximum value of a standard Wiener process. The proposed procedure appears to have a manageable computational complexity for online implementation and also to be effective in detecting changes. We also investigate the performance of the exponentially weighted mean squared control charts for the continuous SDE processes. A simulation method is used to study the empirical sizes and the average run length characteristics of the proposed scheme, which also demonstrates the effectiveness of our method. Given an unstable hybrid stochastic functional differential equation, how to design a delay feedback controller to make it stable? Some results have been obtained for hybrid systems with finite delay. However, the state of many stochastic differential equations are related to the whole history of the system, so it is necessary to discuss the feedback control of stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay. On the other hand, in many practical stochastic models, the coefficients of these systems do not satisfy the linear growth condition, but are highly nonlinear. In this paper, the delay feedback controls are designed for a class of infinite delay stochastic systems with highly nonlinear and the influence of switching state.  相似文献

This paper considers the consensus control problem of multi-agent systems (MAS) with distributed parameter models. Based on the framework of network topologies, a second-order PI-type iterative learning control (ILC) protocol with initial state learning is proposed by using the nearest neighbor knowledge. A discrete system for proposed ILC is established, and the consensus control problem is then converted to a stability problem for such a discrete system. Furthermore, by using generalized Gronwall inequality, a sufficient condition for the convergence of the consensus errors between any two agents is obtained. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is verified by two numerical examples.  相似文献

对含模型不确定性和未知干扰的卫星姿态系统提出了具有间接自适应模糊补偿的广义预测跟踪控制方法. 首先基于卫星姿态动力学模型设计了非线性广义预测控制律, 再利用自适应模糊系统逼近预测控制律中的模型不确定项, 使得所得到的预测控制算法可实施.证明了当卫星姿态模型中不确定项满足一定条件时, 所设计的控制律可使卫星姿态跟踪误差收敛到原点的小邻域内,并仿真结果验证了所提出方法的有效性.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the event-triggered control of switched linear systems. The coupling of system switching and event-triggered communication raises two phenomena: (1) the update of controller cannot always catch up with the active subsystem; (2) the switching may lead to additional triggers. The first phenomenon is called the asynchronous switching induced by network communication and the second one brings great difficulty to avoid the Zeno behavior of event-triggered mechanism (ETM). To address the above problem, we propose a new ETM which contains the switching signal of models and controllers and the discontinuity of triggering error at switching time instants. A relative threshold strategy, combined with a jump function, is designed as a new threshold function. By introducing a compensation term, the linear feedback control law is extended to avoid the Zeno behavior of ETM and improve the solvability of control algorithm. Based on the proposed event-triggered control scheme, the exponential stabilization of switched systems is achieved with relaxed constraints on the triggering and switching conditions. The obtained results are validated by a numerical example.  相似文献
