In this paper, for the Lorentz manifold M2× R with M2 a 2-dimensional complete surface with nonnegative Gaussian curvature, the authors investigate its spacelike graphs over compact, strictly convex domains in M2, which are evolving by the nonparametric mean curvature flow with prescribed contact angle boundary condition, and show that solutions converge to ones moving only by translation.  相似文献

Deforming rotation surfaces with constant mean curvature in S 3 and H 3 to S 3 × R and H 3 × R respectvely, we give four classes of surfaces with mean curvature vector of constant length in S 3 × R and H 3 × R. We have complete minimal surfaces in S 3 × R and H 3 × R. Also we obtain minimal 2-tori in S 3 × S 1, some of which are embedded.  相似文献

In this paper the authors first present the definition and some properties of weak solutions to 1-D first order linear hyperbolic systems. Then they show that the constructive method with modular structure originally given in the framework of classical solutions is still very powerful and effective in the framework of weak solutions to prove the exact boundary (null) controllability and the exact boundary observability for first order hyperbolic systems.  相似文献

Motivated by the results of J. Y. Chemin in "J. Anal. Math., 77, 1999, 27- 50" and G. Furioli et al in "Revista Mat. Iberoamer., 16, 2002, 605-667", the author considers further regularities of the mild solutions to Navier-Stokes equation with initial data uo ∈ L^d(R^d). In this paper, the authors give a characterization theorem for the standard tori S1(a) × S1(b), a, b > 0, as the compact Lagrangian ξ-submanifolds in the two-dimensional complex Euclidean space C2 , and obtain the best version of a former rigidity theorem for compact Lagrangian ξ-submanifold in C2 . Furthermore, their argument in this paper also proves a new rigidity theorem which is a direct generalization of a rigidity theorem by Li and Wang for Lagrangian self-shrinkers in C2.  相似文献
