A Hilbert space operator TB(H) is hereditarily normaloid (notation: THN) if every part of T is normaloid. An operator THN is totally hereditarily normaloid (notation: TTHN) if every invertible part of T is normaloid. We prove that THN-operators with Bishop's property (β), also THN-contractions with a compact defect operator such that and non-zero isolated eigenvalues of T are normal, are not supercyclic. Take A and B in THN and let dAB denote either of the elementary operators in B(B(H)): ΔAB and δAB, where ΔAB(X)=AXBX and δAB(X)=AXXB. We prove that if non-zero isolated eigenvalues of A and B are normal and , then dAB is an isoloid operator such that the quasi-nilpotent part H0(dABλ) of dABλ equals −1(dABλ)(0) for every complex number λ which is isolated in σ(dAB). If, additionally, dAB has the single-valued extension property at all points not in the Weyl spectrum of dAB, then dAB, and the conjugate operator , satisfy Weyl's theorem.  相似文献

A Banach space operator T satisfies Weyl's theorem if and only if T or T has SVEP at all complex numbers λ in the complement of the Weyl spectrum of T and T is Kato type at all λ which are isolated eigenvalues of T of finite algebraic multiplicity. If T (respectively, T) has SVEP and T is Kato type at all λ which are isolated eigenvalues of T of finite algebraic multiplicity (respectively, T is Kato type at all λ∈isoσ(T)), then T satisfies a-Weyl's theorem (respectively, T satisfies a-Weyl's theorem).  相似文献

We find necessary and sufficient conditions for a Banach space operator T to satisfy the generalized Browder's theorem. We also prove that the spectral mapping theorem holds for the Drazin spectrum and for analytic functions on an open neighborhood of σ(T). As applications, we show that if T is algebraically M-hyponormal, or if T is algebraically paranormal, then the generalized Weyl's theorem holds for f(T), where fH((T)), the space of functions analytic on an open neighborhood of σ(T). We also show that if T is reduced by each of its eigenspaces, then the generalized Browder's theorem holds for f(T), for each fH(σ(T)).  相似文献

A Banach space operator TB(X) is hereditarily polaroid, THP, if every part of T is polaroid. HP operators have SVEP. It is proved that if TB(X) has SVEP and RB(X) is a Riesz operator which commutes with T, then T+R satisfies generalized a-Browder's theorem. If, in particular, R is a quasi-nilpotent operator Q, then both T+Q and T+Q satisfy generalized a-Browder's theorem; furthermore, if Q is injective, then also T+Q satisfies Weyl's theorem. If AB(X) is an algebraic operator which commutes with the polynomially HP operator T, then T+N is polaroid and has SVEP, f(T+N) satisfies generalized Weyl's theorem for every function f which is analytic on a neighbourhood of σ(T+N), and f(T+N) satisfies generalized a-Weyl's theorem for every function f which is analytic on, and constant on no component of, a neighbourhood of σ(T+N).  相似文献

A bounded linear operator on a Banach space is said to satisfy ``Weyl's theorem' if the complement in the spectrum of the Weyl spectrum is the set of all isolated points of the spectrum which are eigenvalues of finite multiplicity. In this paper we show that if is a paranormal operator on a Hilbert space, then satisfies Weyl's theorem for every algebraic operator which commutes with .

We prove that if either T or T has the single-valued extension property, then the spectral mapping theorem holds for B-Weyl spectrum. If, moreover T is isoloid, and generalized Weyl's theorem holds for T, then generalized Weyl's theorem holds for f(T) for every fH(σ(T)). An application is given for algebraically paranormal operators.  相似文献

Using the new spectrum set defined in this note, we give the necessary and sufficient condition for T which the Weyl's theorem holds. We also consider how the Weyl's theorem survives for analytically Class A operators.  相似文献

In this note we consider Weyl's theorem and Browder's theorem in several variables. The main result is as follows. Let T be a doubly commuting n-tuple of hyponormal operators acting on a complex Hilbert space. If T has the quasitriangular property, i.e., the dimension of the left cohomology for the Koszul complex Λ(Tλ) is greater than or equal to the dimension of the right cohomology for Λ(Tλ) for all λCn, then ‘Weyl's theorem’ holds for T, i.e., the complement in the Taylor spectrum of the Taylor Weyl spectrum coincides with the isolated joint eigenvalues of finite multiplicity.  相似文献

In this note we study the property (w), a variant of Weyl's theorem introduced by Rako?evi?, by means of the localized single-valued extension property (SVEP). We establish for a bounded linear operator defined on a Banach space several sufficient and necessary conditions for which property (w) holds. We also relate this property with Weyl's theorem and with another variant of it, a-Weyl's theorem. We show that Weyl's theorem, a-Weyl's theorem and property (w) for T (respectively T*) coincide whenever T* (respectively T) satisfies SVEP. As a consequence of these results, we obtain that several classes of commonly considered operators have property (w).  相似文献

Let SB(X,Y) be the set of the bounded sublinear operators from a Banach space X into a Banach lattice Y. Consider π2(X,Y) the set of 2-summing sublinear operators. We study in this paper a variation of Grothendieck's theorem in the sublinear operators case. We prove under some conditions that every operator in SB(C(K),H) is in π2(C(K),H) for any compact K and any Hilbert H. In the noncommutative case the problem is still open.  相似文献

It is proved that in a large class of bounded tridiagonal operators (infinite Jacobi matrices), not necessarily positive or non-negative, positive eigenvalues exist and the eigenvector which corresponds to the greatest of them can be taken strictly positive. It is the unique positive eigenvector up to a constant multiple.  相似文献

Let T be a bounded linear operator acting on a Banach space X such that T or its adjoint T has the single-valued extension property. We prove that the spectral mapping theorem holds for the B-Weyl spectrum, and we show that generalized Browder's theorem holds for f(T) for every analytic function f defined on an open neighborhood U of σ(T). Moreover, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for such T to satisfy generalized Weyl's theorem. Some applications are also given.  相似文献

Multiple summing operators have been proven to be useful in several areas of analysis and mathematical physics. In this paper we prove reverse inclusions for this class of operators, completing the work already initiated in [D. Perez-Garcia, The inclusion theorem for multiple summing operators, Studia Math. 165 (3) (2004) 275-290].  相似文献

We show that, in certain situations, we have lineability in the set of bounded linear and non-absolutely summing operators. Examples on lineability of the set Πp(E,F)?Ip(E,F) are also presented and some open questions are proposed.  相似文献
