Some common fixed point theorems due to Abbas and Khan [M. Abbas, A.R. Khan, Common fixed points of generalized contractive hybrid pairs in symmetric spaces, Fixed Point Theor. Appl. 2009 (2009) 11, Article ID 869407, doi:10.1155/2009/869407], and Abbas and Rhoades [M. Abbas, B.E. Rhoades, Common fixed point theorems for hybrid pairs of occasionally weakly compatible mappings defined on symmetric spaces, Pan. Amer. Math. J. 18 (1) (2008) 55-62] are proved for two new classes of hybrid pair of mappings which contain occasionally weakly compatible hybrid pairs as a proper subclass. Consequently, some results proved by Hussain et al. [N. Hussain, M.A. Khamsi, A. Latif, Common fixed points for JH-operators and occasionally weakly biased pairs under relaxed conditions, Nonlinear Anal. 74 (2011) 2133-2140], Bhatt et al. [A. Bhatt, et al., Common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible mappings under relaxed conditions, Nonlinear Anal. 73 (2010) 176-182] and many others are extended to hybrid pair of mappings. Examples are also presented to support the concepts defined in the paper.  相似文献

We obtain new fixed point theorems on multimaps in the class Bp defined on almost convex subsets of topological vector spaces. Our main results are applied to deduce various fixed point theorems, coincidence theorems, almost fixed point theorems, intersection theorems, and minimax theorems. Consequently, our new results generalize well-known works of Kakutani, Fan, Browder, Himmelberg, Lassonde, and others.  相似文献

In this paper, several weak and strong convergence theorems are established for a modified Noor iterative scheme with errors for three asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Mann-type, Ishikawa-type, and Noor-type iterations are covered by the new iteration scheme. Our results extend and improve the recently announced ones [B.L. Xu, M.A. Noor, Fixed point iterations for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 267 (2002) 444-453; Y.J. Cho, H. Zhou, G. Guo, Weak and strong convergence theorems for three-step iterations with errors for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, Comput. Math. Appl. 47 (2004) 707-717] and many others.  相似文献

In recent papers (cf. [J.L. Arregui, O. Blasco, (p,q)-Summing sequences, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 274 (2002) 812-827; J.L. Arregui, O. Blasco, (p,q)-Summing sequences of operators, Quaest. Math. 26 (2003) 441-452; S. Aywa, J.H. Fourie, On summing multipliers and applications, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 253 (2001) 166-186; J.H. Fourie, I. Röntgen, Banach space sequences and projective tensor products, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 277 (2) (2003) 629-644]) the concept of (p,q)-summing multiplier was considered in both general and special context. It has been shown that some geometric properties of Banach spaces and some classical theorems can be described using spaces of (p,q)-summing multipliers. The present paper is a continuation of this study, whereby multiplier spaces for some classical Banach spaces are considered. The scope of this research is also broadened, by studying other classes of summing multipliers. Let E(X) and F(Y) be two Banach spaces whose elements are sequences of vectors in X and Y, respectively, and which contain the spaces c00(X) and c00(Y) of all X-valued and Y-valued sequences which are eventually zero, respectively. Generally spoken, a sequence of bounded linear operators (un)⊂L(X,Y) is called a multiplier sequence from E(X) to F(Y) if the linear operator from c00(X) into c00(Y) which maps (xi)∈c00(X) onto (unxn)∈c00(Y) is bounded with respect to the norms on E(X) and F(Y), respectively. Several cases where E(X) and F(Y) are different (classical) spaces of sequences, including, for instance, the spaces Rad(X) of almost unconditionally summable sequences in X, are considered. Several examples, properties and relations among spaces of summing multipliers are discussed. Important concepts like R-bounded, semi-R-bounded and weak-R-bounded from recent papers are also considered in this context.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish Ekeland’s variational principle and an equilibrium version of Ekeland’s variational principle for vectorial multivalued mappings in the setting of separated, sequentially complete uniform spaces. Our approaches and results are different from those in Chen et al. (2008), Hamel (2005), and Lin and Chuang (2010) [13], [14] and [15]. As applications of our results, we study vectorial Caristi’s fixed point theorems and Takahashi’s nonconvex minimization theorems for multivalued mappings and their equivalent forms in a separated, sequentially complete uniform space. We also apply our results to study maximal element theorems, which are unified methods of several variational inclusion problems. Our results contain many known results in the literature Fang (1996) [21], and will have many applications in nonlinear analysis.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to present some fixed point results for self-generalized contractions in ordered metric spaces. Our results generalize and extend some recent results of A.C.M. Ran, M.C. This paper underlines the role of directional compactness in the scalarization of graphical derivatives of set-valued maps taking values in infinite-dimensional spaces. Two main theorems are given. The first one states the equivalence of contingent epiderivatives and τw-contingent epiderivatives for directionally compact maps. The second main result proves a variational characterization for the contingent epiderivative of stable and directionally compact maps taking values in general image spaces, extending known results in finite-dimensional and reflexive Banach spaces. The hypotheses given are minimal as is shown by means of several examples. Connections of these theorems with other results of the literature are also provided.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to exhibit the relations between some basic results derived from the two kinds of topologies (namely the (ε,λ)-topology and the stronger locally L0-convex topology) for a random locally convex module. First, we give an extremely simple proof of the known Hahn-Banach extension theorem for L0-linear functions as well as its continuous variant. Then we give the relations between the hyperplane separation theorems in [D. Filipovi?, M. Kupper, N. Vogelpoth, Separation and duality in locally L0-convex modules, J. Funct. Anal. 256 (2009) 3996-4029] and a basic strict separation theorem in [T.X. Guo, H.X. Xiao, X.X. Chen, A basic strict separation theorem in random locally convex modules, Nonlinear Anal. 71 (2009) 3794-3804]: in the process we also obtain a very useful fact that a random locally convex module with the countable concatenation property must have the same completeness under the two topologies. As applications of the fact, we prove that most of the previously established principal results of random conjugate spaces of random normed modules under the (ε,λ)-topology are still valid under the locally L0-convex topology, which considerably enriches financial applications of random normed modules.  相似文献

We adapt recent results of Albrecht and Ricker to obtain conditions under which growth constraints on the left resolvent of a Banach space operator are preserved under suitable perturbations. As an application, we establish Bishop's property (β) for certain generalized Cesàro operators on the classical Hardy spaces Hp, 1<p<∞. Our methods also apply to unilateral weighted shifts whose weight sequence converges sufficiently rapidly as well as to perturbations of restrictions of a class of generalized scalar operators.  相似文献

We study the smoothness property of a function f with absolutely convergent Fourier series, and give best possible sufficient conditions in terms of its Fourier coefficients to ensure that f belongs either to one of the Lipschitz classes Lip(α) and lip(α) for some 0<α?1, or to one of the Zygmund classes Λ(1) and λ(1). Our theorems generalize some of those by Boas [R.P. Boas Jr., Fourier series with positive coefficients, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 17 (1967) 463-483] and one by Németh [J. Németh, Fourier series with positive coefficients and generalized Lipschitz classes, Acta Sci. Math. (Szeged) 54 (1990) 291-304]. We also prove a localized version of a theorem by Paley [R.E.A.C. Paley, On Fourier series with positive coefficients, J. London Math. Soc. 7 (1932) 205-208] on the existence and continuity of the derivative of f.  相似文献

In this paper we provide a formulation of initial value problems for (explicit and implicit) difference equations in terms of abstract equations in sequence spaces. They will be solved using appropriate fixed point theorems and we obtain quantitative attractivity properties.  相似文献

Under the assumption that μ is a non-negative Radon measure on Rd which only satisfies some growth condition, the authors obtain the boundedness in some Hardy-type spaces of multilinear commutators generated by Calderón-Zygmund operators or fractional integrals with RBMO(μ) functions, where the Hardy-type spaces are some appropriate subspaces, associated to the considered RBMO(μ) functions, of the Hardy space H1(μ) of Tolsa.  相似文献

In this paper, the multiplicity of Lagrangian orbits on C2 smooth compact symmetric star-shaped hypersurfaces with respect to the origin in R2n is studied. These Lagrangian orbits begin from one Lagrangian subspace and end on another. An infinitely many existence result is proved via Z2-index theory. This is a multiplicity result about the Arnold Chord Conjecture in some sense, and is a generalization of the problem about the multiplicity of Lagrangian orbits beginning from and ending on the same Lagrangian subspace which was considered in the authors' previous paper [F. Guo, C. Liu, Multiplicity of Lagrangian orbits on symmetric star-shaped hypersurfaces, Nonlinear Anal. 69 (4) (2008) 1425-1436].  相似文献

This paper introduces an iteration scheme for viscosity approximation of a zero of accretive operator in a reflexive Banach space with weakly continuous duality mapping. A new iterative sequence is introduced and strong convergence of the algorithm {xn} is proved. The results improve and extend the results of Su [Xiaolong Qin, Yongfu Su, Approximation of a zero point of accretive operator in Banach spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 320 (2007) 415-424] and some others.  相似文献

This note is a continuation of a previous article [P. Aiena, M.T. Biondi, Property (w) and perturbations, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 336 (2007) 683-692] concerning the stability of property (w), a variant of Weyl's theorem, for a bounded operator T acting on a Banach space, under finite-dimensional perturbations K commuting with T. A counterexample shows that property (w) in general is not preserved under finite-dimensional perturbations commuting with T, also under the assumption that T is a-isoloid.  相似文献
