The stability constants of complexes of 12-, 15-, and 18-membered diaza crown ethers, N,N′-dimethyl diaza crown ethers, and N,N′-bis(2-hydroxyethyl) diaza crown ethers with alkali and alkaline-earth metal ions in 95% aqueous methanol at 25°C were determined. The stability of the complexes of unsubstituted diaza crown ethers with alkali metal cations is low, probably because of stabilization of the exo,exo conformation of the ligands due to interaction of the nitrogen lone electron pairs with the solvent. The complexes with the double-charged cations are appreciably more stable. N,N′-Dimethyl diaza crown ethers form stable complexes with all the ions studied. N-Sulfinyltrifluoromethanesulfonamide CF3SO2N=S=O reacts with salicylaldehyde, 2-furaldehyde, 2-thiophenecarbaldehyde, 3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde, and 2-phenyl-2H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carbaldehyde to afford the corresponding N-aryl(hetaryl)methylidenetrifluoromethanesulfonamides in high yields. Reactions of the latter with aniline give no adducts at the C=N bond but transamination products. The effect of DNA was studied on cis-trans equilibrium and spectral and fluorescent properties of a number of meso-substituted carbocyanine dyes: 3,3′-diethyl-9-thiomethylthiacarbocyanine iodide (K1), 3,3′-diethyl-9-methoxythiacarbocyanine iodide (K2), 3,3′-9-triethylthiacarbocyanine iodide (K3), 3,3′-dimethyl-9-ethyloxacarbocyanine iodide (K4), 3,3′-9-triethyl-5,5′-dimethyloxacarbocyanine iodide (K5), and 3,3′,9-triethyl-6,6′-dimethoxyoxacarbocyanine iodide (K6). Equilibrium between the cis and trans isomeric forms was detected for the thiacarbocyanine dyes in a number of organic solvents, with a shift of the equilibrium toward the cis-isomer caused by an increase in the solvent polarity. The oxacarbocyanines are present only in the form of trans-isomers in both polar and nonpolar solvents. Interaction of the dyes with DNA leads to the formation of stable noncovalent complexes. The complexation of the thiacarbocyanine dyes results in a shift of the isomeric equilibrium and occurs predominantly via the cis-form of the dye. The reaction of 6-acetyl-5-hydroxyacenaphthene with methylhydrazine afforded 1,3-dimethyl-1H-6,7-dihydroacenaphtho[5,6-de]pyridazine. Its dehydrogenation with chloranil gave 1,3-dimethyl-1H-acenaphtho[5,6-de]pyridazine, which is a heteroaromatic compound with an essentially new topology of the ρsystem. The reaction of 3-methyl-1H-6,7-dihydroacenaphtho[5,6-de]pyridazine with 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone yielded a dimer containing the acenaphthene and acenaphthylene moieties of peri-annelated 1H-1,2-diazines connected in positions 1′ and 9.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The spirocyclic compounds bis[2′,3′-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-5′,6′,6′ -trimethylspirofluoren-9,4′-(1′-aza-2′-cyclopentene)][1′,5′ -a]indolino[4,5-e]indoline and bis[2-,3′-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-5′,6′,6′ -trimethylspiro-fluoren-9,4′-(1′-aza-2′-cyclopentene)][1′,5′ -a]indolino[7,6-g]indoline exhibit photochromic properties with various half-lifes. Summary. 2-(Arylamino)pyrimidin-4-ones were synthesized, silylated, and condensed with l,2,3,5-tetra-O-acetyl-β- d-ribofuranoside to afford the corresponding N 2-aryl protected isocytidines. Deprotection of the acetylated isocytidines using saturated NH3 in MeOH solution gave 1-(β-d-ribofuranosyl)-2-(arylamino)-4-pyrimidinones. Methyl 2-deoxy-3,5-di-O-toluyl-α/β-d-ribofuranoside was prepared and condensed with the previously silylated bases to afford the anomeric mixture of protected nucleosides. The pure β-anomers were synthesized with better yield by treating the sodium salts of N 2-arylisocytosine derivatives with 2-deoxy-3,5-di-O-toluyl-α-d-ribofuranosyl chloride. Deprotection of the latter anomers afforded the corresponding free hydroxyl derivatives. The synthesized free nucleosides are under antiviral and oligonucleotide investigations.  相似文献

N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) oxidation of some substituted benzhydrols (4-Cl-, 4-Me-, 4-OMe-, 4-NO2−, 4,4′-dimethyl-, 4,4′-dichloro-, 4,4′-dimethoxy-, and 4-methyl-2-nitro-) yields corresponding benzophenones in the presence of Hg(OAc)2. The reaction is first-order in [NBS], [substrate], and [H+]. A study on the primary kinetic hydrogen isotope effect and solvent isotope effect suggest that C-H and O-H stretching frequencies are affected in the transition state. Activation parameters for the rate-determining step have been evaluated. The results are in accord with the linear free energy relationship (LFER). The linear plot of log(k obs/k 0) vs. σ+ (ρ = −0.69)and Bunnett plots support the existence of proton-transfer in the rate-determining step. Rate behavior in different solvent compositions suggests dipolar-dipolar interaction in the absence of acid and ion-dipolar interaction in the presence of acid. In the study of reactions of N-alkyl- and N-aryltrihalogenoacetamides with PCl5, it was demonstrated for the first time that 3-alkyl(aryl)-2,2,2,4 tetrachloro-4-trihalomethyl-1,3,2-λ5-oxazaphosphetanes are intermediates in the synthesis of trihaloacetimidoyl chlorides. According to quantum-chemical calculations, acyclic N-tetrachlorophosphoranes, which are the primary products in the reactions of trihaloacetamides with PCl5, undergo rapid cyclization into the corresponding phosphorates and subsequent 1,3-chlorotropic migration gives rise to oxazaphosphetanes with the five-coordinate P atom.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Reactions of N-(2,2,2-trichloroethylidene)arenesulfonamides with thiophene, 2-chlorothiophene, and 2,5-dichlorothiophene, as well as of N-(2,2,2-trichloro-1-hydroxyethyl)arenesulfonamides with 2-chlorothiophene, lead to formation of the corresponding N-(2,2,2-trichloro-1-thienylethyl)arenesulfonamides. Condensation of (aminomethyl)triethoxysilane with thiocarbamide in the presence of catalytic amounts of ammonium sulfate was used to synthesize N,N-bis(triethoxysilylmethyl)thiocarbamide. The latter was brought into oxidative hydrolytic polycondensation with H2O2 to obtain poly[N,N′-bis(silsesquioxanylmethyl)thiocarbamide S, S-dioxide] whose properties were compared with the properties of poly[N,N′-bis(silsesquioxanylpropyl)thiocarbamide S,S-dioxide]. Both polymers in highly acidic media rather strongly absorb Ag(I), while at pH 7 they reduce most absorbed Ag+ to the metal. Their reaction with potassium permanganate involves reduction of Mn7+ to Mn4+. Five compounds, terephthalic acid mono-[2-(4-carboxy-phenoxycarbonyl)-vinyl] ester (1), (E)-3-(5′-hydroperoxy-2,2′-dihydroxy[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl)-2-propenoic acid (2), 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid (3), succinic acid (or butanedioic acid) (4), and 2,3,4,5,6-pentahydroxybenzoic acid (5), were isolated from Phyllanthus urinaria. 2’-O-(2,3-Dihydroxypropyl)arabinouridine-containing oligodeoxyribonucleotides were synthesized starting from a new modified nucleoside, viz., 2’-O-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)arabinouridine, and the corresponding 3’-phosphoramidite. Oxidation of these oligodeoxyribonucleotides with sodium periodate afforded oligonucleotides containing 2’-O-(2-oxoethyl)arabinouridine residues. Subsequent modification of the aldehyde-containing oligonucleotides involved the reactions with 9-hydrazinoacridine and N-aminooxyacetyl peptide and reductive amination by 4-(1-pyrenyl)butyrohydrazide and biotin hydrazide. Thermal stabilities of duplexes of modified oligodeoxyribonucleotides with complementary oligodeoxyribonucleotides are slightly lower than those of natural duplexes.
