In this work, multiwalled carbon nanotubes were reacted with N‐[3‐(triet‐hoxysilyl)propyl]isonicotinamide to prepare pyridine‐functionalized carbon nanotubes. This novel sorbent was characterized by infrared spectroscopy, thermal and elemental analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. Functionalized carbon nanotubes were applied for the preconcentration and determination of copper ions using flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Various parameters such as sample pH, flow rate, eluent type and concentration, and its volume were optimized. Under optimal experimental conditions, the limit of detection, the relative standard deviation, and the recovery of the method were 0.65 ng/mL, 3.2% and 99.4%, respectively. After validating the method using standard reference materials, the new sorbent was applied for the extraction and determination of trace copper(II) ions in fruit samples.  相似文献

A magnetic solid‐phase extraction method coupled with gas chromatography was proposed for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the environmental water samples. The magnetic adsorbent was prepared by incorporating Fe3O4 nanoparticles, multi‐walled carbon nanotubes, and polypyrrole. The main factors affecting the extraction efficiency including the amount of the sorbents, desorption conditions, extraction time, salt concentration, and sample solution pH were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, good linearity was obtained within the range of 0.03?100 ng/mL for all analytes, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.9942 to 0.9973. The method detection limits (S/N = 3) were in the range of 0.01–0.04 ng/mL and the limits of quantification (S/N = 10) were 0.03–0.1 ng/mL. Repeatability of the method was assessed through five consecutive extractions of independently prepared solutions at concentrations of 0.1, 10, and 100 ng/mL of the compounds. The observed repeatability ranged 3.4–10.9% depending of the compound considered. The proposed method was successfully applied in the analysis of PAHs in environmental samples (tap, well, river, and wastewater). The recoveries of the method ranged between 93.4 and 99.0%. The procedure proved to be efficient and environmentally friendly.  相似文献

A novel magnetic adsorbent Fe3O4/reduced graphene oxide‐carbon nanotubes, was prepared by one‐pot solvothermal synthesis method. It was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray powder diffraction and vibrating sample magnetometry. The diameter of Fe3O4 microparticles was about 350 nm, which were covered by carbon nanotubes and reduced graphene oxide sheets, while carbon nanotubes inserted between the reduced graphene oxide sheets effectively prevented their aggregation. The composite had large surface area and good magnetic property, suiting for magnetic solid‐phase extraction and the determination of sulfonamides, by coupling with high‐performance liquid chromatography. Under the optimized conditions (including extraction time, amount of adsorbent, solution pH, ionic strength and desorption conditions), a good linear was achieved in the concentration range of 5–500 μg/L and the low limits of detection and low limits of quantification were 0.35–1.32 and 1.16–4.40 μg/L, respectively. The enrichment factors were estimated to be 24.72 to 30.15 fold. The proposed method was applied for the detection of sulfonamides in milk sample and the recoveries were 88.4–105.9%, with relative standard deviations of 0.74–5.38%.  相似文献

A fast, sensitive, and convenient technique consisting of a miniaturized solid‐phase extraction method named microextraction in packed syringe coupled with gas chromatography and mass spectrometry was developed for the preconcentration and determination of some pesticides, including hexachlorobenzene, heptachlor, alachlor, aldrine, and metolachlore, in natural water samples. Carboxyl‐purified multiwalled carbon nanotubes were used as a sorbent in microextraction in packed syringe. Based on this technique, 6.0 mg of multiwalled carbon nanotubes was inserted in the syringe between two polypropylene frits. The analytes would be adsorbed on the solid phase, and would subsequently be eluted using organic solvents. The influence of some important parameters involved including the solution pH, type, and volume of the organic desorption solvent, and amount of the multiwalled carbon nanotubes sorbent on the extraction efficiency of the selected pesticides were investigated. The proposed method showed a good linearity in the range of 0.1–25.0 ng/mL and low limits of detection in the range of 0.02–0.19 ng/mL using the selected ion‐monitoring mode. Reproducibility of the method was in the range of 3.3–8.5% for the studied pesticides. Also to evaluate the matrix effect, the developed method was applied to the preconcentration and determination of the selected pesticides in different water samples.  相似文献

Here, task‐specific ionic liquid solid‐phase extraction is proposed for the first time. In this approach, a thiourea‐functionalized ionic liquid is immobilized on the solid sorbent, multiwalled carbon nanotubes. These modified nanotubes packed into a solid‐phase extraction column are used for the selective extraction and preconcentration of ultra‐trace amounts of lead(II) from aqueous samples prior to electrothermal atomic absorption spectroscopy determination. The thiourea functional groups act as chelating agents for lead ions retaining them and so, give the selectivity to the sorbent. Elution of the retained ions can be performed using an acidic thiourea solution. The effects of experimental parameters including pH of the aqueous solution, type and amount of eluent, and the flow rates of sample and eluent solutions on the separation efficiency are investigated. The linear dependence of absorbance of lead on its concentration in the initial solution is in the range of 0.5–40.0 ng/mL with the detection limit of 0.13 ng/mL (3sb/m, n = 10). The proposed method is applicable to the analysis of red lipstick, pine leaves, and water samples for their lead contents.  相似文献

Magnetite nanoparticles incorporated into alginate beads and coated with a polypyrrole adsorbent were prepared (polypyrrole/Fe3O4/alginate bead) and used as an effective magnetic solid‐phase extraction sorbent for the extraction and enrichment of endocrine‐disrupting compounds (estriol, β‐estradiol and bisphenol A) in water samples. The determination of the extracted endocrine‐disrupting compounds was performed using high‐performance liquid chromatography with a fluorescence detector. The effect of various parameters on the extraction efficiency of endocrine disrupting compounds were investigated and optimized including the type and amount of sorbent, sample pH, extraction time, stirring speed, and desorption conditions. Under optimum conditions, the calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 0.5–100.0 μg/L, and the limit of detection was 0.5 μg/L. The developed method showed a high extraction efficiency, the recoveries were in the range of 90.5 ± 4.1 to 98.2 ± 5.5%. The developed sorbent was easy to prepare, was cost‐effective, robust, and provided a good reproducibility (RSDs < 5%), and could be reused 16 times. The developed method was successfully applied for the determination of endocrine‐disrupting compounds in water samples.  相似文献

A novel and effective magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotube composite for the separation and enrichment of polychlorinated biphenyls was developed. Fe3O4@SiO2 core–shell structured nanoparticles were first synthesized, then the poly(sodium 4‐styrenesulfonate) was laid on its surface to prepare the polyanionic magnetic nanoparticles. The above materials were then grafted with polycationic multiwalled carbon nanotubes, which were modified by polydiallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride through the layer‐by‐layer self‐assembly approach. Its performance was tested by magnetic solid‐phase extraction and gas chromatography with mass spectrometry for the determination of six kinds of indicator polychlorinated biphenyls in water samples. Under optimal conditions, the spiked recoveries of several real samples for six kinds of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB28, PCB52, PCB101, PCB138, PCB153, PCB180) were in the range of 73.4–99.5% with relative standard deviations varying from 1.5 to 8.4%. All target compounds showed good linearities in the tested range with correlation coefficients higher than 0.9993. The limits of quantification for six kinds of indicator polychlorinated biphenyls were between 0.018 and 0.039 ng/mL. The proposed method was successfully applied to analyze polychlorinated biphenyls in real water samples. Satisfactory results were obtained using the effective magnetic absorbent.  相似文献

In this study, magnetic multi‐walled carbon nanotube nanoparticles were synthesized and used as the adsorbent for the sums of malachite green, gentian violet and leucomalachite green, leucogentian violet in aquaculture water samples followed by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. This method was based on in situ reduction of chromic malachite green, gentian violet to colorless leucomalachite green, leucogentian violet with potassium borohydride, respectively. The obtained adsorbent combines the advantages of carbon nanotubes and Fe3O4 nanoparticles in one material for separation and preconcentration of the reductive dyes in aqueous media. The structure and properties of the prepared nanoparticles were characterized by transmission and scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy. The main parameters affecting the adsorption recoveries were investigated and optimized, including reducing agent concentration, type and amount of sorbent, sample pH, and eluting conditions. Under the optimum conditions, the limits of detection in this method were 0.22 and 0.09 ng/mL for malachite green and gentian violet, respectively. Product recoveries ranged from 87.0 to 92.8% with relative standard deviations from 4.6 to 5.9%. The results indicate that the sorbent is a suitable material for the removal and concentration of triphenylmethane dyes from polluted environmental samples.  相似文献

In this work, carbon‐nanotube‐assisted electromembrane extraction in the two‐phase mode combined with GC was developed for the preconcentration and determination of basic drugs in body fluids. The multiwalled carbon nanotubes dispersed in organic solvent are held in the pores of the porous fiber wall by capillary forces and sonification. The membrane with immobilized carbon nanotubes acts as a sorbent and provides an additional pathway for analyte transport. This study demonstrates that the immobilization of carbon nanotubes in the supported liquid membrane is an excellent approach to enhance the performance of the extraction. Optimization of the variables affecting this method was carried out in order to achieve the best extraction efficiency. Optimal extractions were accomplished with octanol as the extraction solvent, 50 V as the driving force and pH 7.4 in the sample solution with the whole assembly agitated at 1000 rpm for 20 min. Under the optimized extraction conditions, the proposed technique provided good linearity (R2 > 0.9990), repeatability (3.5–3.8%), low LODs (1.5 ng/mL), good preconcentration factors (292–316) and high recoveries (80–87%). Finally, this method was successfully used for the determination of tramadol and methadone in different body fluids including plasma and urine samples.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel amperometric immunosensor for the determination of carbofuran based on gold nanoparticles (GNPs), magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles-functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes-chitosan (Fe3O4-FCNTs-CS), and bovine serum albumin (BSA) composite film was proposed. First, GNPs were immobilized onto the glassy carbon electrode (GCE) surface, and then the magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles mixed with chitosan-functionalized multiwall carbon nanotubes (CS-FCNTs) homogeneous composite (CS-FCNTs-Fe3O4) was immobilized onto the GNPs layer by electrostatic interactions between amino groups of CS and GNPs. Because chitosan (CS) contains many amino groups, it can absorb more antibodies. FCNTs have high surface area, high electrical conductivity, and it can enhance the electron transfer rate; Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles can provide a favorable microenvironment for biomolecules immobilization due to their good biocompatibility, strong superparamagnetic property, and low toxicity; and GNPs possess high surface-to-volume reaction, stability, and high conductivity. Gold Nanoparticles/Fe3O4-FCNTs-CS composite film was constructed onto the GCE surface, which had significant synergistic effects toward immunoreaction signal amplification. The stepwise assembly process was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), respectively. Under the optimal conditions, the current response was proportional to the concentration of carbofuran ranging from 1.0 ng/mL to 100.0 ng/mL and from 100.0 ng/mL to 200 µg/mL with the detection limit 0.032 ng/mL. The proposed immunosensor exhibited good accuracy, high sensitivity, and stability, and it can be used for detection of carbofuran pesticide.  相似文献

A headspace solid‐phase microextraction method was developed for the preconcentration and extraction of methyl tert‐butyl ether. An ionic‐liquid‐mediated multiwalled carbon nanotube–poly(dimethylsiloxane) hybrid coating, which was prepared by covalent functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes with hydroxyl‐terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) using the sol–gel technique, was used as solid‐phase microextraction adsorbent. This innovative fiber exhibited a highly porous surface structure, high thermal stability (at least 320°C) and long lifespan (over 210 uses). Potential factors affecting the extraction efficiency were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the method LOD (S/N = 3) was 0.007 ng/mL and the LOQ (S/N = 10) was 0.03 ng/mL. The calibration curve was linear in the range of 0.03–200 ng/mL. The RSDs for one fiber (repeatability, n = 5) at three different concentrations (0.05, 1, and 150 ng/mL) were 5.1, 4.2, and 4.6% and for the fibers obtained from different batches (reproducibility, n = 3) were 6.5, 5.9, and 6.3%, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of methyl tert‐butyl ether in different real water samples on three consecutive days. The relative recoveries for the spiked samples with 0.05, 1, and 150 ng/mL were between 94–104%.  相似文献

A simple method for the simultaneous and trace analysis of four synthetic food azo dyes including carmoisine, ponceau 4R, sunset yellow, and allura red from some foodstuff samples was developed by combining dispersive μ‐solid‐phase extraction and high‐performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection. Zein‐modified magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared and used for μ‐solid‐phase extraction of trace amounts of mentioned food dyes. The prepared modified magnetic nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. The factors affecting the extraction of the target analytes such as pH, amount of sorbent, extraction time, type and volume of the desorption eluent, and desorption time were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, the method provided good repeatability with relative standard deviations lower than 5.8% (n = 9). Limit of detection values ranged between 0.3 and 0.9 ng/mL with relatively high enrichment factors (224–441). Comparing the obtained results indicated that Fe3O4 nanoparticles modified by zein biopolymer show better analytical application than bare magnetic nanoparticles. The proposed method was also applied for the determination of target synthetic food dyes in foodstuff samples such as carbonated beverage, snack, and candy samples.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This study describes a new magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) technique based on Fe3O4/graphene oxide-soluble eggshell membrane protein (Fe3O4/GO-SEP) for accurate measurement of malachite green (MG) residue in various water samples residues by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The morphology of the prepared adsorbent has been studied by scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy in details. Parameters affecting the MSPE were optimised and determined with UV-Vis spectrophotometry thoroughly. Under the optimised extraction circumstances, the introduced method represented a wide linearity over the concentration of 0.5–250 ng mL?1, a high enrichment factor of 83.3 and low detection limit of 0.2 ng mL?1. The prepared Fe3O4/GO-SEP was successfully used for preconcentration and determination of MG in river and fish farming water samples with suitable precision and accuracy.  相似文献

We describe the preparation, characterization, and application of a composite film adsorbent based on blended agarose‐chitosan‐multiwalled carbon nanotubes for the preconcentration of selected nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs in aqueous samples before determination by high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection. The composite film showed a high surface area (4.0258 m2/g) and strong hydrogen bonding between the multiwalled carbon nanotubes and agarose/chitosan matrix, which prevent adsorbent deactivation and ensure long‐term stability. Several parameters, such as sample pH, addition of salt, extraction time, desorption solvent, and concentration of multiwalled carbon nanotubes in the composite film were optimized using a one‐factor‐at‐time approach. The optimum extraction conditions obtained were as follows: isopropanol as conditioning solvent, 10 mL of sample solution at pH 2, extraction time of 30 min, stirring speed of 600 rpm, 100 μL of isopropanol as desorption solvent, desorption time of 5 min under ultrasonication, and 0.4% w/v of composite film. Under the optimized conditions, the calibration curve showed good linearity in the range of 1–500 ng/mL (r2 = 0.997–0.999), and good limits of detection (0.89–8.05 ng/mL) were obtained with good relative standard deviations of < 4.59% (n = 3) for the determination of naproxen, diclofenac sodium salt, and mefenamic acid drugs.  相似文献

A facile and highly efficient magnetic solid‐phase extraction method has been developed for Z‐ligustilide, the major therapeutic agent in Angelica sinensis. The solid‐phase adsorbent material used was prepared by conjugating carbon nanotubes with magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles via a hydrothermal reaction. The magnetic material showed a high affinity toward Z‐ligustilide due to the π–π stacking interaction between the carbon nanotubes and Z‐ligustilide, allowing a quick and selective exaction of Z‐ligustilide from complex sample matrices. Factors influencing the magnetic solid‐phase extraction such as the amount of the added adsorbent, adsorption and desorption time, and desorption solvent, were investigated. Due to its high extraction efficiency, this method was proved highly useful for sample cleanup/enrichment in quantitative high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. The proposed method had a linear calibration curve (R2 = 0.9983) over the concentration between 4 ng/mL and 200 μg/mL Z‐ligustilide. The accuracy of the method was determined by the recovery, which was from 92.07 to 104.02%, with the relative standard deviations >4.51%.  相似文献

In this paper, carbon‐coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles were successfully synthesized and used as a magnetic solid‐phase extraction absorbent for the preconcentration and extraction of organophosphorus pesticides in environmental water samples. The carbon‐coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The determination of organophosphorus pesticides in water samples with carbon‐coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles was investigated by high‐performance liquid chromatography with a diode array detector. Furthermore, the response surface model based on the central composite design was applied to quantitatively investigate the effect of some important variables influencing the extraction efficiency, such as pH, treatment time, amount of nanoparticle sorbents, and amount of salt and to find the optimized conditions providing the highest extraction efficiency. Under optimized conditions, the calibration curve was linear in the range of 0.5–15.0 ng/mL with a regression coefficient of 0.9948, 0.9958, and 0.9931 for fenitrothion, diazinon, and ethion, respectively. The obtained results showed that this analytical method would be useful for the analysis of fenitrothion, diazinon, and ethion in tap water with high precision and accuracy.  相似文献

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes were modified by Fe3O4 nanoparticles with application for the preconcentration of metals. The modified materials were characterized by infrared spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The Fe3O4 nanoparticle modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes were used as sorbents for the extraction of cadmium and lead from maca prior to analysis by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The amount of nanoparticles, pH, adsorption time, coexisting ions, eluent solution, and reuse of the material were characterized to optimize the recoveries of the analytes. Under the optimum conditions, the calibration curves were linear from 0.05 to 20 milligrams per liter for cadmium and from 0.05 to 25 milligrams per liter for lead. The limits of detection were 0.32 and 0.57 micrograms per liter while the relative standard deviations were 2.1 and 1.9 percent, respectively. The method was employed for the determination of cadmium and lead in maca and recoveries between 94.8 and 105.6 percent were obtained.  相似文献

A novel design of hollow‐fiber liquid‐phase microextraction containing multiwalled carbon nanotubes as a solid sorbent, which is immobilized in the pore and lumen of hollow fiber by the sol–gel technique, was developed for the pre‐concentration and determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental water samples. The proposed method utilized both solid‐ and liquid‐phase microextraction media. Parameters that affect the extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were optimized in two successive steps as follows. Firstly, a methodology based on a quarter factorial design was used to choose the significant variables. Then, these significant factors were optimized utilizing central composite design. Under the optimized condition (extraction time = 25 min, amount of multiwalled carbon nanotubes = 78 mg, sample volume = 8 mL, and desorption time = 5 min), the calibration curves showed high linearity (R 2 = 0.99) in the range of 0.01–500 ng/mL and the limits of detection were in the range of 0.007–1.47 ng/mL. The obtained extraction recoveries for 10 ng/mL of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons standard solution were in the range of 85–92%. Replicating the experiment under these conditions five times gave relative standard deviations lower than 6%. Finally, the method was successfully applied for pre‐concentration and determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental water samples.  相似文献

A novel bis(indolyl)methane‐modified silica reinforced with multiwalled carbon nanotubes sorbent for solid‐phase extraction was designed and synthesized by chemical immobilization of nitro‐substituted 3,3′‐bis(indolyl)methane on silica modified with multiwalled carbon nanotubes. Coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis, the extraction properties of the sorbent were evaluated for flavonoids and aromatic organic acid compounds. Under optimum conditions, the sorbent can simultaneously extract five flavonoids and two aromatic organic acid preservatives in aqueous solutions in a single‐step solid‐phase extraction procedure. Wide linear ranges were obtained with correlation coefficients (R2) ranging from 0.9843 to 0.9976, and the limits of detection were in the range of 0.5–5 μg/L for the compounds tested. Compared with the silica modified with multiwalled carbon nanotubes sorbent and the nitro‐substituted 3,3′‐bis(indolyl)methane‐modified silica sorbent, the developed sorbent exhibited higher extraction efficiency toward the selected analytes. The synergistic effect of nitro‐substituted 3,3′‐bis(indolyl)methane and multiwalled carbon nanotubes not only improved the surface‐to‐volume ratio but also enhanced multiple intermolecular interactions, such as hydrogen bonds, π–π, and hydrophobic interactions, between the new sorbent and the selected analytes. The as‐established solid‐phase extraction with high‐performance liquid chromatography and diode array detection method was successfully applied to the simultaneous determination of flavonoids and aromatic organic acid preservatives in grape juices with recoveries ranging from 83.9 to 112% for all the selected analytes.  相似文献

A facile adsorbent, a nanocomposite of Fe3O4 and reduced graphene oxide, was fabricated for the selective separation and enrichment of synthetic aromatic azo colorants by magnetic solid‐phase dispersion extraction. The nanocomposite was synthesized in a one‐step reduction reaction and characterized by atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller analysis. The colorants in beverages were quickly adsorbed onto the surface of the nanocomposite with strong π–π interactions between colorants and reduced graphene oxide, and separated with the assistance of an external magnetic field. Moreover, the four colorants in beverages were detected at different wavelengths by high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection. A linear dependence of peak area was obtained over 0.05–10 μg/mL with the limits of detection of 10.02, 11.90, 10.41, 15.91 ng/mL for tartrazine, allure red, amaranth, and new coccine, respectively (signal to noise = 3). The recoveries for the spiked colorants were in the range of 88.95–95.89% with the relative standard deviation less than 2.66%. The results indicated that the nanocomposite of Fe3O4 and reduced graphene oxide could be used as an excellent selective adsorbent for aromatic compounds and has potential applications in sample pretreatment.  相似文献
