Chitosan‐grafted polyaniline was synthesized and applied as a sorbent for the preconcentration of phthalate esters in dispersive solid‐phase extraction. By coupling dispersive solid‐phase extraction with high‐performance liquid chromatography and response surface methodology (central composite design), a reliable, sensitive, and cost‐effective method for simultaneous determination of phthalate esters including dimethyl phthalate, di‐n‐butyl phthalate, and di(2‐ethylhexyl)phthalate was developed. The morphology of sorbent had been studied by scanning electron microscopy and its chemical structure confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Under optimum condition, good linearity was observed in the range of 5.0–5000.0 ng/mL. The limits of detection (S/N = 3) and limits of quantification (S/N = 10) were 0.1–0.3 and 0.3–1 ng/mL, respectively. The relative standard deviations were less than 8.8%. Finally, this procedure was employed for extraction of trace amounts of phthalic acid esters in milk samples, the relative recoveries ranged from 82 to 103%.  相似文献

An RP LC‐ESI‐MS/MS method for the determination of the migration of 16 primary phthalic acid esters from plastic samples has been developed using distilled water, 3% acetic acid, 10% alcohol, and olive oil as food simulants. Detection limits were 1.6–18.5 μg/kg in distilled water, 1.4–17.3 μg/kg in 3% acetic acid, 1.4–19.2 μg/kg in 10% alcohol, and 31.9–390.8 μg/kg in olive oil. The RSDs were in the range of 0.07–11.28%. The real plastic products inspection showed that only few analyzed samples were phthalates contaminated. Bis‐2‐ethylhexyl ester and dibutyl phthalate were the common items migrated from the plastic products into food and feeds, but the migration concentrations were far below the limits set by European Union (1.5 mg/kg for bis‐2‐ethylhexyl ester and 0.3 mg/kg for dibutyl phthalate).  相似文献

Derivatization at the injection port following hollow‐fiber‐based liquid–liquid–liquid microextraction with tetramethylammonium acetate as a dual‐function reagent, i.e. an acceptor and derivatization reagent, for the determination of benzoic acid (BA) and sorbic acid (SA) in real samples by GC was developed. BA and SA were extracted from aqueous samples to an organic phase impregnated into the pores of the hollow fiber wall, and then back‐extracted to the acceptor solution located inside the lumen of the hollow fiber. Upon injection, the extracted analytes were quantitatively derivatized to their methyl esters with tetramethylammonium acetate in the GC injection port. Several parameters related to the derivatization and extraction efficiency were optimized. The linearity was satisfactory over a concentration range of 0.1–50 mg/L with r > 0.993 for both analytes. The LODs were 2.0 μg/L for SA and 20 μg/L for BA. The recoveries (83–116%) and precisions (RSDs of 1.2–11.4% (n = 3)) were examined by analyzing real spiked samples. The enrichment factors of BA and SA were 300 and 425. The results demonstrated that this is a simple, rapid, accurate, and sensitive method for the determination of BA and SA in various samples.  相似文献

A sensitive, rapid, and simple high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV detection method was developed for the simultaneous determination of seven phthalic acid esters (dimethyl phthalate, dipropyl phthalate, di‐n‐butyl phthalate, benzyl butyl phthalate, dicyclohexyl phthalate, di‐(2‐ethylhexyl) phthalate, and di‐n‐octyl phthalate) in several kinds of beverage samples. Ultrasound and vortex‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method was used. The separation was performed using an Intersil ODS‐3 column (C18, 250 × 4.6 mm, 5.0 μm) and a gradient elution with a mobile phase consisting of MeOH/ACN (50:50) and 0.2 M KH2PO4 buffer. Analytes were detected by a UV detector at 230 nm. The developed method was validated in terms of linearity, limit of detection, limit of quantification, repeatability, accuracy, and recovery. Calibration equations and correlation coefficients (> 0.99) were calculated by least squares method with weighting factor. The limit of detection and quantification were in the range of 0.019–0.208 and 0.072–0.483 μg/L. The repeatability and intermediate precision were determined in terms of relative standard deviation to be within 0.03–3.93 and 0.02–4.74%, respectively. The accuracy was found to be in the range of –14.55 to 15.57% in terms of relative error. Seventeen different beverage samples in plastic bottles were successfully analyzed, and ten of them were found to be contaminated by different phthalic acid esters.  相似文献

A novel three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction was developed based on reverse micelle as extraction solvent and acceptor phase, and compared with conventional two‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction. Both procedures were used in the extraction and concentration of four cinnamic acids (caffeic acid, p‐hydroxycinnamic acid, ferulic acid, and cinnamic acid) in traditional Chinese medicines prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. Parameters affecting the two procedures were investigated and optimized to obtain the optimum enrichment factors. The mechanism of the developed procedure was explored and elucidated by comparison with conventional two‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction. Under the optimized conditions, the analytes’ enrichment factors were between 50 and 118 for the proposed procedure, and 31–96 for conventional two‐phase mode. Satisfactory linear ranges (r2 ≥ 0.99), detection limits (0.1–0.6 ng/mL), precisions (<9.2%), and accuracies (recoveries: 80–123.1%) were observed for the two procedures. The results showed that the enrichment capacity of the proposed procedure for the cinnamic acids is better than that of conventional two‐phase procedure, and both are eco‐friendly, simple, and effective for the enrichment and detection of cinnamic acids in traditional Chinese medicines.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a novel hollow fiber stir bar sorptive extraction for collecting and determining of phthalic acid esters in environmental and biological matrices. Shell–core ZrO2/SiO2 composite microspheres and porous C18 silica microspheres were compared as the sorbents, which were loaded in the lumen of a microporous hollow fiber membrane. A thin stainless‐steel wire was also inside of the hollow fiber membrane acting as the magnetic stirrer, thus affording the procedures like stir bar sorptive extraction to perform the active trapping of the analytes. Variables affecting the extraction (salt addition and pH of samples, extraction temperature, and time) and desorption (microwave time and eluted solvents) have been optimized. Under the optimal conditions, good linearity (r > 0.9968) of all calibration curves was obtained in validation experiments. And the limits of quantification ranged from 0.01 to 1000 ng/mL. The recoveries in different matrices were in the range of 64.90–112.60% with relative standard deviations less than 8.60%. The present work demonstrated the applicability of the developed method for the determination of phthalic acid esters in environmental and biological sample, allowing the selective extraction of phthalate esters in complex samples with low consumption of organic solvents and no sample clean‐up.  相似文献

The harmful health effects caused by phthalic acid esters have been supported from the increasing scientific evidence, developing the efficient methodologies to monitor the levels of phthalic acid esters in various foods become especially important from the aspects of human exposure assessment and their migration mechanistic understanding. In this study, quantitative structure‐retention relationship studies on both the gas and liquid chromatographic retention times of 23 phthalic acid esters were performed by genetic function approximation, and the optimal quantitative structure‐retention relationship models (r2 > 0.980, r2CV > 0.960, and r2pred > 0.865) passed the statistical tests of cross‐validation, randomization, external prediction, Roy′ rm2 metrics, Golbraikh‐Tropsha′ criteria and applicability domain. The established predictive models elucidate the structural requirements for the retention of phthalic acid esters over different chromatographic columns, which were finally used to predict the retention times of 11 new phthalic acid esters. Hopefully, this work could provide useful guidelines for better understanding and accurate prediction of the retention behavior of undetermined phthalic acid esters when lacking standard samples or under poor experimental conditions, and make the simultaneous identification and quantification of numerous phthalic acid esters possible.  相似文献

Organophosphate esters, widely used as flame retardants and plasticizers, are regarded as a class of emerging pollutants. In this work, a novel approach was developed for the fabrication of a solid‐phase microextraction fiber by using hybrid silica‐based materials with immobilized ionic liquids with sol–gel technology, and the prepared solid‐phase microextraction fiber was then coupled with gas chromatography and flame photometric detection for the analysis of six organophosphate esters. The high loading of 1‐hexadecyl‐3‐methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide was confined within the hybrid network. The developed solid‐phase microextraction fiber possesses a coating thickness of ~35 μm with good thermal stability and long lifetime. The parameters affecting the extraction efficiency such as extraction time, temperature, pH, and ionic strength of the sample solution were optimized. Under the optimized conditions, the limits of detection were in the range of 0.04?0.95 μg L?1, and the precision of the method assessed with repeatability and reproducibility of (RSD%) ?13 and ?29%, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to determine the six organophosphate esters in three real water samples, with recoveries in the range of 64.8?125.4% at two different spiking concentration levels. As a result, the proposed method demonstrated its potential for application in trace determination of organophosphate esters in actual water samples.  相似文献

A novel hollow‐fiber liquid‐phase microextraction based on oil‐in‐salt was proposed and introduced for the simultaneous extraction and enrichment of the main active compounds of hesperidin, honokiol, shikonin, magnolol, emodin, and β,β′‐dimethylacrylshikonin in a formula of Zi‐Cao‐Cheng‐Qi decoction and the single herb, Fructus Aurantii Immaturus , Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis , Radix et Rhizoma , and Lithospermum erythrorhizon , composing the formula prior to their analysis by high‐performance liquid chromatography. The results obtained by the proposed procedure were compared with those obtained by conventional hollow‐fiber liquid‐phase microextraction, and the proposed procedure mechanism was described. In the procedure, a hollow‐fiber segment was first immersed in organic solvent to fill the solvent in the fiber lumen and wall pore, and then the fiber was again immersed into sodium chloride solution to cover a thin salt membrane on the fiber wall pore filling organic solvent. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factors of the analytes were 0.6–109.4, linearities were 0.002–12 μg/mL with r 2 ≥ 0.9950, detection limits were 0.6–12 ng/mL, respectively. The results showed that oil‐in‐salt hollow‐fiber liquid‐phase microextraction is a simple and effective sample pretreatment procedure and suitable for the simultaneous extraction and concentration of trace‐level active compounds in traditional Chinese medicine.  相似文献

Phthalimide can be formed from either the degradation of folpet and phosmet, or reaction of phthalic anhydride with primary amino groups. Consequently, the sum of phthalimide and folpet, expressed as folpet‐residue definition, is highly prone to false‐positive levels of folpet in tea. An analytical method is thus urgently needed to investigate the residue level and source of phthalimide in tea. In this work, we developed an accurate method of determining phthalimide and phthalic acid (the indicator of phthalic anhydride) by acetonitrile extraction and 3‐bromopropyltrimethylammonium bromide derivatization coupled with ultra high performance liquid chromatography and high‐resolution mass spectrometry. The method was validated, and linearity (correlation coefficients > 0.99) was obtained. Satisfactory recoveries at 10, 20, 50, and 100 μg/kg ranged from 76 to 117%, and the intra‐ and interday accuracies were <23%. The limit of quantification for phthalimide and phthalic acid was 10 μg/kg. The developed method was further successfully used to determine phthalimide and phthalic acid in some tea samples. The positive rate of phthalimide and phthalic acid detected in the tea samples ranged from 30–75 and 50–90%, respectively.  相似文献

A novel palladium solid‐phase microextraction coating was fabricated on a stainless‐steel wire by a simple in situ oxidation–reduction process. The palladium coating exhibited a rough microscaled surface and its thickness was about 2 μm. Preparation conditions (reaction time and concentration of palladium chloride and hydrochloric acid) were optimized in detail to achieve sufficient extraction efficiency. Extraction properties of the fiber were investigated by direct immersion solid‐phase microextraction of several polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and phthalate esters in aqueous samples. The extracted analytes were transferred into a gas chromatography system by thermal desorption. The effect of extraction and desorption conditions on extraction efficiency were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, good linearity was obtained and correlation coefficients between 0.9908 and 0.9990 were obtained. Limits of detection were 0.05–0.10 μg/L for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and 0.3 μg/L for phthalate esters. Their recoveries for real aqueous samples were in the range from 97.1 to 121% and from 89.1 to 108%, respectively. The intra‐ and interday tests were also investigated with three different addition levels, and satisfactory results were also obtained.  相似文献

A one‐step, template‐free method is described to synthesize porous carbons (PCs) in situ on a metal surface by using a room‐temperature, atmospheric‐pressure dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma. This method not only features high efficiency, environmentally friendliness, and low cost and simple equipment, but also can conveniently realize large‐area synthesis of PCs by only changing the design of the DBD reactor. The synthesized PCs have a regulated nestlike morphology, and thus, provide a high specific surface area and high pore volume, which result in excellent adsorption properties. Its applicability was demonstrated by using a PC‐coated stainless‐steel fiber as a solid‐phase microextraction (SPME) fiber to preconcentrate polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) prior to analysis by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (GC‐FID). The results showed that the fiber exhibited excellent enrichment factors (4.1×104 to 3.1×105) toward all tested PAHs. Thus, the PC‐based SPME‐GC‐FID provides low limits of detection (2 to 20 ng L ?1), good precision (<7.8 %), and good recoveries (80–115 %) for ultra‐sensitive determination of PAHs in real water samples. In addition, the PC‐coated fiber could be stable enough for more than 500 replicate extraction cycles.  相似文献

A new method was developed for the trace determination of phthalic acid esters in plasma using dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction and gas chromatography with mass spectrometry analysis. Plasma proteins were efficiently precipitated by trichloroacetic acid and then a mixture of chlorobenzene (as extraction solvent) and acetonitrile (as dispersive solvent) rapidly injected to clear supernatant using a syringe. After centrifuging, chlorobenzene sedimented at the bottom of the test tube. 1 μL of this sedimented phase was injected into the gas chromatograph for phthalic acid esters analysis. Different factors affecting the extraction performance, such as the type of extraction and dispersive solvent, their volume, extraction time, and the effects of salt addition were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factors and extraction recoveries were satisfactory and ranged between 820–1020 and 91–97%, respectively. The linear range was wide (50–1000 ng/mL) and limit of detection was very low (1.5–2.5 ng/mL for all analytes). The relative standard deviations for analysis of 1 μg/mL of the analytes were between 3.2–6.1%. Salt addition showed no significant effect on extraction recovery. Finally, the proposed method was successfully utilized for the extraction and determination of the phthalic acid esters in human plasma samples and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

We describe a highly sensitive micro‐solid‐phase extraction method for the pre‐concentration of six phthalate esters utilizing a TiO2 nanotube array coupled to high‐performance liquid chromatography with a variable‐wavelength ultraviolet visible detector. The selected phthalate esters included dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, butyl benzyl phthalate, bis(2‐ethylhexyl)phthalate and dioctyl phthalate. The factors that would affect the enrichment, such as desorption solvent, sample pH, salting‐out effect, extraction time and desorption time, were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range of the proposed method was 0.3–200 μg/L. The limits of detection were 0.04–0.2 μg/L (S/N = 3). The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of six phthalate esters in water samples and satisfied spiked recoveries were achieved. These results indicated that the proposed method was appropriate for the determination of trace phthalate esters in environmental water samples.  相似文献

A novel graphene oxide decorated with silver nanoparticles coating on a stainless‐steel fiber for solid‐phase microextraction was prepared. Scanning electron microscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to characterize the coating surface and showed that silver nanoparticles were dispersed on the wrinkled graphene oxide surface. Coupled to gas chromatography with flame ionization detection, the extraction abilities of the fiber for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were examined in the headspace solid‐phase microextraction mode. The extraction parameters including adsorption time, adsorption temperature, salt concentration, desorption time and desorption temperature were investigated. Under the optimized condition, wide linearity with low limits of detection from 2 to 10 ng/L was obtained. The relative standard deviations for single‐fiber repeatability and fiber‐to‐fiber reproducibility were less than 10.6 and 17.5%, respectively. The enrichment factors were from 1712.5 to 4503.7, showing the fiber has good extraction abilities. Moreover, the fiber exhibited a good stability and could be reused for more than 120 times. The established method was also applied for determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in two real water samples and the recoveries of analytes ranged from 84.4–116.3% with relative standard deviations less than 16.2%.  相似文献

Novel propargyl that contains phenolic resins via azo‐coupling reaction was synthesized. Peculiarities of curing process were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry analysis. Polymerization of resins with azo groups was estimated to be affected by radicals obtained at resin decomposition causing 10°C peak shift to lower temperatures in comparison with resin containing only propargyl group. At the same time, polymerization of triple propargyl bond was shown to not proceed at radical initiation until Cleisen rearrangement and chromene formation. Thermogravimetric analysis revealed increase of thermal stability by 170–190°C and char yield by up to 20% for modified resins in comparison with original novolac resin. Heat deflection temperature estimated by dynamic mechanical analysis was also shown to be increased by at least 110°C for modified resins in comparison with novolac resin. All the synthesized resins are soluble in acetone and used for preparation of unidirectional glass fiber‐based composites. Flexural strength and modulus for modified resins‐based composites were shown to increase by at least 25% and 10% correspondingly in comparison with novolac‐based composite. In the current study, a novel technique for extraction and determination of trans, trans‐muconic acid, hippuric acid, and mandelic acid was developed by means of ion‐pair‐based hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction in the three‐phase mode. Important factors affecting the extraction efficiency of the method were investigated and optimized. These metabolites were extracted from 10 mL of the source phase into a supported liquid membrane containing 1‐octanol and 10% w/v of Aliquat 336 as the ionic carrier followed by high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. The organic phase immobilized in the pores of a hollow fiber was back‐extracted into 24 μL of a solution containing 3.0 mol/L sodium chloride placed inside the lumen of the fiber. A very high preconcentration of 212‐ to 440‐fold, limit of detection of 0.1–7 μg/L, and relative recovery of 87–95% were obtained under the optimized conditions of this method. The relative standard deviation values for within‐day and between‐day precisions were calculated at 2.9–8.5 and 4.3–11.2%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to urine samples from volunteers at different work environments. The results demonstrated that the method can be used as a sensitive and effective technique for the determination of the metabolites in urine.  相似文献

A new hollow‐fiber double‐solvent synergistic microextraction method was proposed for the extraction and concentration of trace active compounds in traditional Chinese medicine. The main variables affecting the method were investigated and optimized. Under the optimized conditions, linearities were 0.01–10 μg/mL, detection limits were lower than 0.8 ng/mL, and interday, and intraday relative standard deviations were <9.20%. Furthermore, average recoveries ranged from 102.8 to 104.1%, and enrichment factors were 6–70 for the four alkaloids tested. The antitumor alkaloid group in Coptis chinensis was screened and identified by hollow‐fiber cell fishing with high‐performance liquid chromatography. The four alkaloids were then enriched and quantified by hollow‐fiber double‐solvent synergistic microextraction with high‐performance liquid chromatography. The mechanism of the proposed microextraction method was described, and results demonstrated that the approach was a simple and reliable sample‐preparation procedure. This method, as well as hollow‐fiber cell fishing combined with high‐performance liquid chromatography can be adopted to study the different characteristic effects of the multiple components and multiple targets of traditional Chinese medicine. The approach can also be used to conduct tailored quality control of the active compounds associated with therapeutic efficacy.  相似文献

The determination of α‐ketoacid concentration is demanded to evaluate the absorption and metabolic behavior of compound α‐ketoacid tablets taken by chronic kidney disease patients. To eliminate the interference of endogenous substance of urine and enrich the analytes, a three‐phase hollow‐fiber liquid‐phase microextraction combined with ion‐pair high‐performance liquid chromatography method was established for the determination of d ,l ‐α‐hydroxymethionine calcium, d ,l ‐α‐ketoisoleucine calcium, α‐ketovaline calcium, α‐ketoleucine calcium, and α‐ketophenylalanine calcium of compound α‐ketoacid tablets in human urine samples. The extraction parameters, such as organic solvent, pH of donor phase and acceptor phase, stirring rate, and extraction time were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, the obtained enrichment factors were up to 11‐, 110‐, 198‐, 202‐, and 50‐fold, respectively. The calibration curves for these analytes were linear over the range of 0.1–10 mg/L for α‐ketovaline calcium, d ,l ‐α‐ketoisoleucine calcium, and α‐ketoleucine calcium, 0.5–10 mg/L for d ,l ‐α‐hydroxymethionine calcium, and α‐ketophenylalanine calcium with r > 0.99. The relative standard deviations (n = 5) were less than 6.27% and the LODs were 100.7, 10.0, 5.8, 7.8, and 8.6 μg/L (based on S/N = 3), respectively. Good recoveries from spiked urine samples (92–118%) were obtained. The proposed method demonstrated excellent sample clean‐up and analytes enrichment to determine the five components in human urine.  相似文献

Mixtures of the dimethyl esters of adipic acid and 2,3:4,5‐di‐O‐methylene‐galactaric acid (Galx) were made to react in the melt with either 1,6‐hexanediol or 1,12‐dodecanediol to produce linear polycyclic copolyesters with aldarate unit contents varying from 10 up to 90 mole %. The copolyesters had weight–average molecular weights in the ~35,000–45,000 g mol?1 range and a random microstructure, and were thermally stable up to nearly 300 °C. They displayed Tg in the ‐50 to ‐7 °C range with values largely increasing with the content in galactarate units. All the copolyesters were semicrystalline with Tm between 20 and 90 °C but only those made from 1,12‐dodecanediol were able to crystallize from the melt at a crystallization rate that decreased as the contents in the two comonomers approached each other. Copolyesters containing minor amounts of galactarate units adopted the crystal structure characteristic of aliphatic polyesters but a new crystal polymorph was formed when the cyclic sugar units became the majority. Stress–strain parameters were sensitively affected by composition of the copolyesters with the mechanical behavior changing from flexible/ductile to stiff/brittle with the replacement of adipate units by the galactarate units. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
