A convenient and one-pot synthetic method of lanthanide thiolate compounds was developed. An excess of metallic samarium, europium, and ytterbium directly reacted with diaryl disulfides in THF to give selectively Ln(II) thiolate complexes, [Ln(SAr)(&mgr;-SAr)(thf)(3)](2) (1, Ln = Sm; 2, Ln = Eu; Ar = 2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl), Yb(SAr)(2)(py)(4) (3, py = pyridine), and [{Ln(hmpa)(3)}(2)(&mgr;-SPh)(3)][SPh] (6, Ln = Sm; 7, Ln = Eu; 8, Ln = Yb; hmpa = hexamethylphosphoric triamide). Reaction of metallic lanthanides with 3 equiv of disulfides afforded Ln(III) thiolate complexes, Ln(SAr)(3)(py)(n)()(thf)(3)(-)(n)() (9a, Ln = Sm, n = 3; 9b, Ln = Sm, n = 2; 10, Ln = Yb, n = 3) and Ln(SPh)(3)(hmpa)(3) (11, Ln = Sm; 12, Ln = Eu; 13, Ln = Yb). Thus, Ln(II) and Ln(III) thiolate complexes were prepared from the same source by controlling the stoichiometry of the reactants. X-ray analysis of 8 revealed that 8 has the first ionic structure composed of triply bridged dinuclear cation and benezenethiolate anion [8, orthorhombic, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with a = 21.057(9), b = 25.963(7), c = 16.442(8) ?, V = 8988(5) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.040, R(w) = 0.039 for 5848 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 865 parameters]. The monomeric structures of 11 and 13 were revealed by X-ray crystallographic studies [11, triclinic, space group P&onemacr; with a = 14.719(3), b = 17.989(2), c = 11.344(2) ?, alpha = 97.91(1), beta = 110.30(2), gamma = 78.40(1) degrees, V = 2751.9(9) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.045, R(w) = 0.041 for 7111 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 536 parameters; 13, triclinic, space group P&onemacr; with a = 14.565(2), b = 17.961(2), c = 11.302(1) ?, alpha = 97.72(1), beta = 110.49(1), gamma = 78.37(1) degrees, V = 2706.0(7) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.031, R(w) = 0.035 for 9837 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 536 parameters]. A comparison with the reported mononuclear and dinuclear lanthanide thiolate complexes has been made to indicate that the Ln-S bonds weakened by the coordination of HMPA to lanthanide metals have ionic character.  相似文献

Lanthanide metals reduce mixtures of azobenzene and PhEEPh (E = Se or Te) in pyridine to give the bimetallic compounds [(py)2Ln(EPh)(PhNNPh)]2 (E = Se, Ln = Ho (1), Er (2), Tm (3), Yb (4); E = Te, Ln = Ho (5), Er (6), Tm (7), Yb (8)). The structures of [(py)2Er(mu-eta 2-eta 2-PhNNPh)(SePh)](2).2py (2) and [(py)2Ho(mu-eta 2-eta 2-PhNNPh)(TePh)](2).2py (5) have been determined by low-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and the nearly identical unit cell volumes of the remaining compounds indicate they are most likely isomorphous to 2 or 5. In all compounds, the Ln(III) ions are bridged by a pair of mu-eta 2-eta 2-PhNNPh ligands that, from the N-N bond length, have clearly been reduced to dianions. Charge is balanced by the single terminal EPh ligand on each Ln, and the coordination sphere is saturated by two pyridine donors to give seven coordinate metal centers. Thermal decomposition of 5 gives HoTe, 8 gives a mixture of YbN and YbTe, and 1 does not give a crystalline solid-state product. Crystal data (Mo K alpha, 153(2) K) are as follows: 2, monoclinic group P2(1)/n, a = 11.864(3) A, b = 14.188(2) A, c = 17.624(2) A, beta = 91.62(2) degrees, V = 2965(1) A3, Z = 4; 5, triclinic space group P1, a = 10.349(2) A, b = 17.662(4) A, c = 17.730(8) A, alpha = 75.82(3) degrees, beta = 74.11(3) degrees, gamma = 89.45(2) degrees, V = 3016(2) A3, Z = 2.  相似文献

The compounds Y[N(QPPh2)2]3 (Q = S (1), Se (2)) have been synthesized in good yield from the protonolysis reactions between Y[N(SiMe3)2]3 and HN(QPPh2)2 in methylene chloride (CH2Cl2). The compounds are not isostructural. In 1, the Y atom is surrounded by three similar [N(SPPh2)2]- ligands bound eta 3 through two S atoms and an N atom. The molecule possesses D3 symmetry, as determined in the solid state by X-ray crystallography and in solution by 89Y and 31P NMR spectroscopies. In 2, the Y atom is surrounded again by three [N(SePPh2)2]- ligands, but two are bound eta 2 through the two Se atoms and the other ligand is bound eta 3 through the two Se atoms and an N atom. Although a fluxional process is detected in the 31P and 77Se NMR spectra, a triplet is found in the 89Y NMR spectrum of 2 (delta = 436 ppm relative to YCl3 in D2O, 2JY-P = 5 Hz). This implies that on average the conformation of one eta 3- and two eta 2-bound ligands is retained in solution. Crystallographic data for 1: C72H60N3P6S6Y, rhombohedral, R3c, a = 14.927(5) A, c = 56.047(13) A, V = 10815(6) A3, T = 153 K, Z = 6, and R1(F) = 0.042 for the 1451 reflections with I > 2 sigma(I). Crystallographic data for 2: C72H60N3P6Se6Y.Ch2-Cl2, monoclinic, P2(1)n, a = 13.3511(17) A, b = 38.539(7) A, c = 14.108(2) A, beta = 94.085(13) degrees, V = 7241(2) A 3, T = 153 K, Z = 4, and R1(F) = 0.037 for the 8868 reflections with I > 2 sigma(I).  相似文献

The reactivity of KNHAr reagents (Ar = C(6)H(5), C(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6, C(6)H(3)(i)Pr(2)-2,6) with lanthanide and yttrium trichlorides has been investigated. With the larger metals Nd and Sm and the smaller 2,6-dimethyl-substituted ligand, the bimetallic dianionic complexes [K(THF)(6)](2)[Ln(&mgr;-NHC(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6)(NHC(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6)(3)](2) (Ln: Sm, 1a; Nd, 1b) are isolated as the potassium salts. Under the same reaction conditions YCl(3) forms a bimetallic anion which retains chloride: [K(DME)(2)(THF)(3)][Y(2)(&mgr;-NHC(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6)(2)(&mgr;-Cl)(NHC(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6)(4)(THF)(2)], 2. With the larger 2,6-diisopropyl ligands, neutral complexes are isolated in both solvated monometallic and unsolvated bimetallic forms. With Nd, a distorted octahedral trisolvate, Nd(NHC(6)H(3)(i)Pr(2)-2,6)(3)(THF)(3), 3, was obtained, whereas with Yb and Y the trigonal bipyramidal disolvates, Ln(NHC(6)H(3)(i)Pr(2)-2,6)(3)(THF)(2) (Ln: Yb, 4a; Y, 4b), were isolated. THF-free complexes of the NHC(6)H(3)(i)Pr(2)-2,6 ligand are available by reacting the amine NH(2)C(6)H(3)(i)Pr(2)-2,6 with Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3) complexes. By this route, the dimers [Ln(&mgr;-NHC(6)H(3)(i)Pr(2)-2,6)(NHC(6)H(3)(i)Pr(2)-2,6)(2)](2) (Ln: Yb, 5a; Y, 5b) were isolated. The reaction of the unsubstituted arylamido salt KNHC(6)H(5) with NdCl(3) produced an insoluble material which was characterized as [Nd(NHC(6)H(5))(3)(KCl)(3)], 6. 6 reacted with Al(2)Me(6) in hexanes and produced a heteroleptic mixed-metal complex {[Me(2)Al(&mgr;-Me(2))](2)Nd(&mgr;(3)-NC(6)H(5))(&mgr;-Me)AlMe}(2), 7, and the trimeric aluminum arylamido complex [Me(2)Al(&mgr;-NHC(6)H(5))](3), 8. An example of a direct axial interaction of a platinum(II) atom with a Mo(2) core through a uniquely designed tridentate ligand 6-(diphenylphosphino)-2-pyridonate (abbreviated as pyphos) is described. Treatment of PtX(2)(pyphosH)(2) (2a, X = Cl; 2b, X = Br; 2c, X = I) with a 1:1 mixture of Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(4) and [Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(6)](2+) (3a) in dichloromethane afforded the linear trinuclear complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)](2) (4a, X = Cl; 4b, X = Br; 4c, X = I). The reaction of [Mo(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(4)](2+) (3b) with 2a-c in dichloromethane afforded the corresponding pivalato complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)](2) (5a, X = Cl; 5b, X = Br; 5c, X = I), whose bonding nature is discussed on the basis of the data from Raman and electronic spectra as well as cyclic voltammograms. The linear trinuclear structures in 4b and 5a-c were confirmed by NMR studies and X-ray analyses: 4b, monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 34.733(4) ?, b = 17.81(1) ?, c = 22.530(5) ?, beta = 124.444(8) degrees, V = 11498(5) ?(3), Z = 8, R = 0.060 for 8659 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 588 parameters; 5a, triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 13.541(3) ?, b = 17.029(3) ?, c = 12.896(3) ?, alpha = 101.20(2) degrees, beta = 117.00(1) degrees, gamma = 85.47(2) degrees, V = 2599(1) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.050 for 8148 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 604 parameters; 5b, triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 12.211(2) ?, b = 20.859(3) ?, c = 10.478(2) ?, alpha = 98.88(1) degrees, beta = 112.55(2) degrees, gamma = 84.56(1) degrees, V = 2433.3(8) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.042 for 8935 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 560 parameters; 5c, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 13.359(4) ?, b = 19.686(3) ?, c = 20.392(4) ?, beta = 107.92(2) degrees, V = 5101(2) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.039 for 8432 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 560 parameters.  相似文献

The compounds (NC(12)H(8)(NH)(2))[Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)], Ln = Y, Tb, Yb, and [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)][Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)](N(3)C(12)H(9))(2), with Ln = La, Sm, Eu, were obtained by reactions of the group 3 metals yttrium and lanthanum as well as the lanthanides europium, samarium, terbium, and ytterbium with 2-(2-pyridyl)-benzimidazole. The reactions were carried out in melts of the amine without any solvent and led to two new groups of homoleptic rare earth pyridylbenzimidazolates. The trivalent rare earth atoms have an eightfold nitrogen coordination of four chelating pyridylbenzimidazolates giving an ionic structure with either pyridylbenzimidazolium or [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)](+) counterions. With Y, Eu, Sm, and Yb, single crystals were obtained whereas the La- and Tb-containing compounds were identified by powder methods. The products were investigated by X-ray single crystal or powder diffraction and MIR and far-IR spectroscopy, and with DTA/TG regarding their thermal behavior. They are another good proof of the value of solid-state reaction methods for the formation of homoleptic pnicogenides of the lanthanides. Despite their difference in the chemical formula, both types (NC(12)H(8)(NH)(2))[Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)], Ln = Y (1), Tb (2), Yb (3), and [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)][Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)](N(3)C(12)H(9))(2), Ln = La (4), Sm (5), Eu (6), crystallize isotypic in the tetragonal space group I4(1). Homoleptic dimeric dipyridylamide complexes of the rare earth elements are obtained by solvent-free oxidation reactions of the metals with melts of 2,2'-dipyridylamine. As the thermal stabilities of the ligand as well as the amide complexes are limiting factors in these high-temperature syntheses, several different metal activation procedures have been investigated: the formation of Ln amalgams and dissolution of the metals in liquid ammonia as well as coupling to microwaves. For comparison with a solvent that shows low solubility of the metals and products, reactions in 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline were also carried out. For all lanthanides and group 3 metals used homoleptic dimers of the formula [Ln(2)(Dpa)(6)], Ln = Ce (1), Nd (2), Sm (3), Ho (4), Er (5), Tm (6), Yb (7), and Sc (8) and Dpa- = (C5H4N)2N-, were obtained, all containing trivalent rare earth ions with a distorted square antiprismatic nitrogen coordination. Due to the large differences in the ionic radii of the metal ions, two different structure types are found that crystallize in the space groups P2(1)/c and P2(1)/n with the border of the two types being between Tm and Yb. The orientations of two 1,3/1,3-double chelating and linking dipyridylamide ligands (Dpa(-) = (C(5)H(4)N)(2)N(-)) result in different overall orientations of the dimers and thus two structure types. All compounds were identified by single-crystal X-ray analysis. Mid-IR, far IR, and Raman spectroscopy, microanalyses, and simultaneous DTA/TG as well as mass spectrometry regarding their thermal behavior were also carried out to characterize the products. Crystal data for the two types follow. New lanthanide thioantimonate(V) compounds, [Ln(en)3(H2O)x(mu(3-x)-SbS4)] (en = ethylenediamine, Ln = La, x = 0, Ia; Ln = Nd, x = 1, Ib) and [Ln(en)4]SbS4.0.5en (Ln = Eu, IIa; Dy, IIb; Yb, IIc), were synthesized under mild solvothermal conditions by reacting Ln2O3, Sb, and S in en at 140 degrees C. These compounds were classified as two types according to the molecular structures. The crystal structure of type I (Ia and Ib) consists of one-dimensional neutral [Ln(en)3(H2O)x(mu(3-x)-SbS(4))]infinity (x = 0 or 1) chains, in which SbS4(3-) anions act as tridentate or bidentate bridging ligands to interlink [Ln(en)3]3+ ions, while the crystal structure of type II (IIa, IIb, and IIc) contains isolated [Ln(en)4]3+ cations, tetrahedral SbS4(3-) anions, and free en molecules. A systematic investigation of the crystal structures of the five lanthanide compounds, as well as two reported compounds, clarifies the relationship between the molecular structure and the entity of the lanthanide(III) series, such as the stability of the lanthanide(III)-en complexes, the coordination number, and the ionic radii of the metals.  相似文献

[M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10)] (M = Co, Ni) have a three-dimensional structure and consist of two subunits, [(VO(2))(SeO(3))](-) infinite chains and [M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)](2+) fragments. The [(VO(2))(SeO(3))](-) chains are composed of [V(2)Se(4)O(14)](4)(-) clusters linked by VO(4)N triangular bipyramids. The 4,4'-bipy molecule as a bifunctional organic ligand is directly linked to Co or Ni and V atoms, affording the three-dimensionality. The compounds were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and differential thermal and thermogravimetric analyses.  相似文献

Compounds formed from the reaction of N,N,N',N'-tetramethylsuccinamide (TMSA) with trivalent lanthanide salts possessing the poorly coordinating counteranions triflate (CF3SO3-) and perchlorate (ClO4-) have been prepared and examined. Structural features of these Ln-TMSA compounds have been studied in the solid phase by thermogravimetric analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and, in selected cases, by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and in solution by infrared spectroscopy. In the presence of significant amounts of water, 7-coordinate compounds with mixed aquo-TMSA cation structures [Ln(TMSA)3(H2O)]3+ (Ln = Yb) and [Ln(TMSA)2(H2O)3]3+ (Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Eu, Yb) have been isolated with structural determinations by single-crystal X-ray diffraction obtained for the following species: Yb(C8H16N2O2)3(H2O)(CF3SO3)3, compound 6, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 8.9443(3) A, b = 11.1924(4) A, c = 44.2517(13) A, beta = 93.264(1) degrees, Z = 4, Dcalcd = 1.735 g cm-3; Yb(C8H16N2O2)3(H2O)(ClO4)3, compound 7, monoclinic, Cc, a = 19.2312(6) A, b = 11.1552(3) A, c = 19.8016(4) A, beta = 111.4260(1) degrees, Z = 4, Dcalcd = 1.690 g cm-3; Yb(C8H16N2O2)2(H2O)3(CF3SO3)3, compound 8, triclinic, P1, a = 8.6719(1) A, b = 12.2683(2) A, c = 19.8094(3) A, alpha = 75.815(1) degrees, beta = 86.805(1) degrees, gamma = 72.607(1) degrees, Z = 2, Dcalcd = 1.736 g cm-3. Unlike in the analogous nitrate salts, only bidentate binding of the succinamide ligand to the lanthanide metal is observed. IR spectroscopy studies in anhydrous acetonitrile suggest that the solid-state structures of these Ln-TMSA compounds are maintained in solution.  相似文献

(C5H4SiMe2tBu)2LnnBu reacted with 1 equiv. of elemental sulfur in toluene at ambient temperature to yield the corresponding lanthanocene thiolates [(C5H4SiMe2tBu)2Ln(m-SnBu)]2 (Ln = Y (1), Er (2)). Complexes 1 and 2 have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, mass spectros- copy and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. Both complexes are of monoclinic with space group P21/c, formula C52H94S2Si4Y2 1 (C52H94S2Si4Er2 2) Mr = 1073.57 (1230.27), a = 8.495(2) (8.41(2)), b = 26.913(8) (26.67(7)), c = 13.756(4) (13.68(4)) (A), α = 90(90), β = 101.184(5) (101.57(4)), γ = 90 (90)°, V = 3085.1(15) (3007(14))(A)3, Dc = 1.156 (1.359) g·cm-3, Z = 2 (2), F(000) = 1144 (1260), μ = 2.046 (2.951) cm-1, R = 0.0687 (0.0749) and wR = 0.1306 (0.1507) for observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). X-ray structures of 1 and 2 definitively prove that only one sulfur atom is inserted into the Ln-C(nBu) bond, forming a thiolate ligand.  相似文献

The new pro-ligand 4-methyl-4'-(carbonylamino(2-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)ethyl))-2,2'-bipyridyl (L1) has been prepared and used to synthesise the complex fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3(L1) 1 and the complex salts [M(II)(bipy)2(L1)](PF6)2 (M=RuII 8 or OsII 15). Deprotection with trifluoroacetic acid affords the amine-functionalised derivatives fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3(L2) 2, [M(II)(bipy)2(L2)](PF6)2 (M=RuII 9 or OsII 16) which react with the dianhydride of diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) to give the binuclear complex {fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3}2(L3) 3 and the complex salts [{M(II)(bipy)2}2(L3)](PF6)4 (M = RuII 10 or OsII 17). The latter react with salts Ln(OTf)3 to afford a series of 12 heterotrimetallic compounds that contain a lanthanide (Ln) ion in the DTPA binding site; {fac-Re(I)Cl(CO)3}2(L3)LnIII (Ln=Nd 4, Er 5, Yb 6 or Y 7) and [{M(II)(bipy)2}2(L3)LnIII](PF6)(OTf)3 (M=RuII, Ln=Nd 11, Er 12, Yb 13 or Y 14; M=OsII, Ln=Nd 18, Er 19, Yb 20 or Y 21). All of these trimetallic species display absorption bands ascribed to metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) excitations, and luminescence measurements show that these excited states can be used to sensitise near-infrared emission from LnIII (Ln=Nd, Er or Yb) ions. Single crystal X-ray structures of L1 and [RuII(bipy)2(L2H)](H2PO4)3.(CH3)2CO.0.8H2O were obtained, the latter revealing the presence of H2PO4- counter anions, the source of which is presumed to be hydrolysis of PF6- ions.  相似文献

Two new quaternary sulfides, KSmSiS4 (1) and KYbSiS4 (2), have been synthesized by high-temperature solid-state reaction. Single,crystal X-ray diffraction analyses indicate that both compounds crystallize in the space group P21/m, and the crystal data are as follows: a = 6.426(11), b = 6.582(11), c = 8.602(15)A, β= 107.90(13)°, Z = 2, V= 346.2(10) A^3, Dc = 3.317 g/cm^3, F(000) = 318,μ(MoKα) = 10.334 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0559 and wR = 0.1370 for 1; and α= 6.3244(10), b = 6.5552(10), c = 8.5701(15)A, β= 108.001(13)°, Z = 2, V = 337.91(9) A^3, De= 3.621 g/cm^3, F(000) = 334, μ(MoKα) = 15.737 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0422 and wR = 0.0960 for 2. The KLnSiS4 (Ln = Sm, Yb) structure consists of corrugated ∞^2 [LnSiS4]^- layers which are formed by edge-sharing LnS8 bicapped trigonal prisms and SiS4 tetrahedra. The K^+ cations are located in the cavities defined by S2 anions between the ∞^2[LnSiS4]^- layers. Band-gap analyses show that compounds 1 and 2 are semiconductors with optical band-gaps of 2.40 and 2.34 eV, respectively.  相似文献

Lanthanide bis((cyclooctane-1,5-diyl)dihydroborate) complexes (THF)(4)Ln[(micro-H)(2)BC(8)H(14)](2) (Ln = Eu, 1; Yb, 2) were synthesized by a metathesis reaction between (THF)(x)()LnCl(2) and K[H(2)BC(8)H(14)] in THF in a 1:2 molar ratio. Attempts to prepare the monosubstituted lanthanide cyclic organohydroborates (THF)(x)LnCl[(micro-H)(2)BC(8)H(14)] were unsuccessful. On the basis of the molecular structure and IR spectrum of 1, there is an agostic interaction between Eu(II) and one of the alpha-C-H hydrogens from the [(micro-H)(2)BC(8)H(14)] unit. No such interaction was observed for 2. The coordinated THF in 1 and 2 can be removed under dynamic vacuum, but the solvent ligands remain bound to Yb when 2 is directly dissolved in Et(2)O or toluene. In strong Lewis basic solvents, such as pyridine or CH(3)CN, attack of the Yb-H-B bridge bonds results. Decomposition of 2 to the 9-BBN dimer in CD(2)Cl(2) was observed by (11)B and (1)H NMR spectroscopies. Compound 2 was reacted with 2 equiv of the hydride ion abstracting reagent B(C(6)F(5))(3) to afford the solvent-separated ion pair [Yb(THF)(6)][HB(C(6)F(5))(3)](2) (3). Complexes 1, 2, and 3 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal data: 1 is orthorhombic, Pna2(1), a = 21.975(1) A, b = 9.310(1) A, c = 16.816(1) A, Z = 4; 2 is triclinic, P1, a = 9.862(1) A, b = 10.227(1) A, c = 10.476(1) A, alpha = 69.87(1) degrees, beta = 76.63(1) degrees, gamma = 66.12(1) degrees, Z = 1; 3.Et(2)O is triclinic, P1, a = 13.708(1) A, b = 14.946(1) A, c = 17.177(1) A, alpha = 81.01(1) degrees, beta = 88.32(1) degrees, gamma = 88.54(1) degrees, Z = 2.  相似文献

1 INTRODUCTION The insertion of unsaturated molecules into the lanthanide-ligand bond has attracted considerable attention, because it is a fundamental step for many metal-promoted transformations, in which some va- luable new methods for the formation of carbon- carbon and carbon-heteroatom bonds can be deve- loped and some complexes with novel structures or peculiar characters can be obtained[1~4]. Notably, in contrast to the wide reaction chemistry of organo- lanthanide alkyl (aryl), am…  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)Ti(C&tbd1;CSiMe(3))(2)]MX (M = Cu, X = OTf (2), SC(6)H(5) (4), SC(6)H(4)NMe(2)-2 (5), SC(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2)-2 (6), S-1-C(10)H(6)NMe(2)-8 (7), Cl (8), (N&tbd1;CMe)PF(6) (9); M = Ag, X = OTf (3)) are described. These complexes contain monomeric MX entities, which are eta(2)-bonded by both alkyne functionalities of the organometallic bis(alkyne) ligand [(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)Ti(C&tbd1;CSiMe(3))(2)] (1). The reactions of 2 with the Lewis bases N&tbd1;CPh and N&tbd1;CC(H)=C(H)C&tbd1;N afford the cationic complexes {[(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)Ti(C&tbd1;CSiMe(3))(2)]Cu(N&tbd1;CPh)}OTf (10) and {[(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3))(2)Ti(C&tbd1;CSiMe(3))(2)]Cu}(2)(N&tbd1;CC(H)=C(H)C&tbd1;N)(OTf)(2) (11), respectively. The X-ray structures of 2, 3, and 6 have been determined. Crystals of 2 are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 12.8547(7) ?, b = 21.340(2) ?, c = 18.279(1) ?, beta = 133.623(5) degrees, V= 3629.7(5) ?(3), Z = 4, and final R = 0.047 for 5531 reflections with I >/= 2.5sigma(I) and 400 variables. The silver triflate complex 3 is isostructural, but not isomorphous, with the corresponding copper complex 2, and crystals of 3 are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 13.384(3) ?, b = 24.55(1) ?, c = 13.506(3) ?, beta = 119.21(2) degrees, V = 3873(2) ?(3), Z = 4, and final R = 0.038 for 3578 reflections with F >/= 4sigma(F) and 403 variables. Crystals of the copper arenethiolate complex 6 are triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 11.277(3) ?, b = 12.991(6) ?, c = 15.390(6) ?, alpha = 65.17(4) degrees, beta = 78.91(3) degrees, gamma = 84.78(3) degrees, V = 2008(2) ?(3), Z = 2, and final R = 0.079 for 6022 reflections and 388 variables. Complexes 2-11 all contain a monomeric bis(eta(2)-alkyne)M(eta(1)-X) unit (M = Cu, Ag) in which the group 11 metal atom is trigonally coordinated by the chelating bis(eta(2)-alkyne) entity Ti(C&tbd1;CSiMe(3))(2) and an eta(1)-bonded monoanionic ligand X. The copper arenethiolate complexes 4-7 are fluxional in solution.  相似文献

We present two organometallic precursor approaches leading to the hitherto-unknown dioxo monocarbodiimides (Ln(2)O(2)CN(2)) of the late lanthanides Ho, Er, and Yb as well as yttrium. One involves insertion of CO(2), and the other one is a straightforward route using a molecular single-source precursor. To this end the reactivity of the activated amido lanthanide compound [(Cp(2)ErNH(2))(2)] towards carbon dioxide absorption under supercritical conditions was studied. Selective insertion of CO(2) into the amido complex yielded the single-source precursor [Er(2)(O(2)CN(2)H(4))Cp(4)], which was characterized by vibrational spectroscopy and thermal and elemental analyses. Ammonolysis of this amorphous compound at 700 degrees C affords Er(2)O(2)CN(2). To gain deeper insight into the structural characteristics of the amorphous precursor, a similar molecular carbamato complex was synthesized and fully characterized. X-ray structure analysis of the dimeric complex [Cp(4)Ho(2){mu-eta(1):eta(2)-OC(OtBu)NH}] shows an unusual bonding mode of the tert-butylcarbamate ligand, which acts as both a bridging and side-on chelating group. Ammonolysis of this compound also yielded dioxo monocarbodiimides, and therefore the crystalline carbamato complex turned out to be an alternative precursor for the straightforward synthesis of Ln(2)O(2)CN(2). Analogously, the dioxo monocarbodiimides of Y, Ho, Er, and Yb were synthesized by this route. The crystal structures were determined from X-ray powder diffraction data and refined by the Rietveld method (Ln=Ho, Er). Further spectroscopic characterization and elemental analysis evidenced the existence of phase-pure products. The dioxo monocarbodiimides of holmium and erbium crystallize in the trigonal space group P[over]3m1. According to X-ray powder diffraction, they adopt the Ln(2)O(2)CN(2) (Ln=Ce-Gd) structure type.  相似文献

This work was conducted as part of a broad-based effort to determine the factors that affect cation formation for organometallic aluminum complexes. In this study the adduct species R(2)AlX.NH(2)(t)Bu (R, X: Me, F (1); Me, Cl (2); Et, Cl (3); Me, Br (4)) and cationic complexes [R(2)Al(NH(2)(t)Bu)(2)]X (R, X: Me, Br (5); Et, Br (6); Me, I (7)) were examined. These complexes demonstrate that the reaction of R(2)AlX with excess NH(2)(t)Bu produces cationic complexes only when X = Br or I. All of the compounds were characterized by melting points, (1)H NMR, IR, elemental analyses, and, in some cases, X-ray crystallography.
