The solid solutions Eu(Ir1–x Pd x )2Si2, which exist for 0x0.125 and 0.75x1. cristallize with the tetragonal ThCr2Si2-type structure. The variation of the europium valence with composition has been thoroughly studied at temperatures 4.2T293 K by151Eu Mössbauer resonance. For 0x0.125 the europium valence at room temperature decreases asx increases. For 0.75x1 the valence transition temperature Eu3+Eu2+ increases asx increases.  相似文献

We report the results of ac-susceptibility and dc-magnetization measurements for HyGd2CuO4 (0y0.54). It is shown thatH doping lowers the weak ferromagnetic component in the material. The distinct hysteresis loops observed atT=77 K for both non- and hydrogenated samples change its shape withy. The magnetic ordering temperatures T N Cu and T N Gd , as determined from the temperature dependencies of ac-susceptibility, remain unchanged with sample's hydrogenation. This result seems to indicate that extra electrons are not doped onto the Cu-O planes of Gd2CuO4. The frequency dependencies ofx(, T) andx(, T) for bothy=0 andy=0.15 samples are analysed., The maximums ofx andx found at about 200K are considered in terms of susceptibility dependence on the spin-lattice relaxation time (). The anomalies in ac-susceptibility found recently in Gd2CuO4 atT a=8 K andT b=9.5 K decrease significantly withy. Results are discussed in the context of available data on 214T-type compounds.  相似文献

On the basis of our previous work electrical conductivity in the Sr(Fe1–xTix)Oy system (0.0x0.9,y3) has been further studied by means of Mössbauer spectroscopy. When 0.0x0.6, the concentration of Fe3+ (II) doublet relates to the final firing temperature and electrical conductivity of the materials is sensitive to the concentration of Fe3+ (II). Atx=0.25, the curve of the resistivity versus Ti contentx shows a local minimum which is observed for the first time. The results indicate that the coexistence of Fe4+ and Fe3+ in the same lattice leads to high conductivity; the conductivity increases when the Fe4 concentration approaches to that of the Fe3+ one. When the temperature is at 260 K and 230 K, the presence of the intermediate state showing quadrupole splitting has an effect on the conductivity of the materials.  相似文献

Mössbauer spectra have been recorded at 4.2 and 300 K on the series La1–x Sr x FeO3, wherex varies from 0 to 1.0 in steps of 0.1. Neutron diffraction experiments have shown that the crystal structure is orthorhombic for 0x<0.3, rhombohedral for 0.4x0.7, and cubic for 0.8<x1.0. Mössbauer spectra at 4.2 K are composed of magnetic sextet components arising from different charge states of iron ions. In the orthorhombic and rhombohedral phases, the charge states Fe3+ and Fe5+ coexist. In the cubic phase, iron is present as Fe3+ and Fe4+ states. At 300 K, the samples are magnetically ordered in the range 0 x0.3 and the coexistence of Fe3+ and Fe5+ remains. For samples 0.4x1.0, the samples are paramagnetic. Fits to these spectra require two components, one corresponding to an Fe4+ state, the other being best described as an Fe3+ ion forx0.7 but forx>0.7 having a mean charge state which increases to 3.5 forx=1.0.  相似文献

Magnetic states of Cu1 sublattice in YBa2Cu3O y : 1%57Fe compounds with 6.09 y6.98 were investigated by57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy at 1.68T300 K. It has been found that, upon reducingy, the magnetic transition temperatureT ml changes from 3.3 to 12 K aroundy6.4 where the superconductivity disappears. Y2(1-x)Gd2xSiWO8:A (0x1; A=Eu3+, Dy3+, Sm3+, Er3+) phosphor films have been prepared on silica glass substrates through the sol–gel dip-coating process. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), atomic force microscope (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and photoluminescence spectra as well as lifetimes were used to characterize the resulting films. The results of the XRD indicated that the films began to crystallize at 800 °C and crystallized completely at 1000 °C. The AFM and SEM study revealed that the phosphor films, which mainly consisted of closely packed grains with an average size of 90–120 nm with a thickness of 660 nm, were uniform and crack free. Owing to an efficient energy transfer from the WO42- groups to the activators, the doped lanthanide ion (A) showed its characteristic ff transition emissions in crystalline Y2(1-x)Gd2xSiWO8 (0x1) films. The optimum concentrations for Eu3+, Dy3+, Sm3+, Er3+ were determined to be 21, 5, 3 and 7 mol % of Y3+ in Y2SiWO8 films, respectively. We determined the199mHg nuclear quadrupole interaction in the misfit or superstoichiometric compound Hg x TiS2 by time differential perturbed angular correlation. A unique Hg-site withv Q =511(1) MHz and =0.410(4) was observed, irrespective of the Hg-uptake (2/3x4/3). We propose a model of Hg-Hg zig-zag chains which accounts for these observations as well as for the X-ray diffraction data.  相似文献

Amorphous (Mo1–x Ru x )0.8P0.2 alloys (0.3x0.7) have been investigated with measurements of the specific heatC and thermal conductivity . Also the superconducting properties (critical temperatureT c and upper critical field) have been determined. Well belowT c , all alloys show the familiar behavior known for glasses, i.e.CT n and T m withn1 andm2 which is attributed to tunneling states (TLS). The largeT c allows an unambiguous determination of the coefficients ofC and . Compairing our data with literature data, we find no correlation between the TLS density of states and the glass temperature or crystallization temperature, as opposed to insulating glasses where such a correlation appears to exist. The unusual annealing behavior found previously in amorphous Zr–Ni and Zr–Cu, which was attributed to a change in the TLS relaxation-time spectrum, is confirmed in the present work.  相似文献

It is shown that ifA, B andX are operators on a Hilbert space such thatA andB are positive andX belongs to a norm ideal associated with some unitarily invariant norm |·|, then for 0 r 1 we have |A r XB r | |X|1-r |AXB| r . The119Sn-Mössbauer spectra ofxSnO·(70–x)SnF2·30P2O5 glasses (0 x70) measured at 78 K comprised a doublet due to Sn2+ (=3.30–3.36 mm s–1, = 1.70–1.72 mm s–1) and a weak singlet due to Sn4+ located at –0.23 mm s–1 with respect to BaSnO3. The and of Sn2+ were comparable to those of Sn2P2O7. Small Debye temperatures (146 and 155 K) were obtained from the low-temperature measurements. These results indicate that Sn2+ and Sn4+ occupied interstitial sites, being loosely and ionically bonded to distorted PO4–x F x tetrahedra.  相似文献

Spectral properties of – +V(x), whereV(x) lies in a neighbourhood of the periodic case and describes various models of disorder, are studied. The interlayer exchange coupling and GMR effect of (permalloy/Cu x Au1-x )30 (Py = Ni83Fe17; 0.29x0.75) sputtered multilayers (MLs) were investigated. The strength of the antiferromagnetic (AF) interlayer coupling J AF was determined from M(H) and/or R(H) curves. GMR effect and AF coupling was found in entire investigated concentration range of Cu x Au1-x . For x<0.65 the J AF values at the first maximum of AF coupling (1.3t Cu-Au1.6 nm) were smaller than 3×10-6 J/m2 and for x>0.65 J AF increased to a value characteristic of Py/Cu MLs (J AF10-5 J/m2). The second maximum of AF coupling (J AF10-7 J/m2) was only found for x0.75 at t Cu-Au2.6 nm.  相似文献

Our investigation of the electrical resistivity (T) betweenT=0.1 K and 295 K revealed for all Fe-concentrations, 2.4x16, a minimum of betweenT min=7 K and 15 K. Above the minimum, scattering from structural disorder prevails in the paramagnetic alloy (x=2.4), while in the ferromagnetic glasses (x5.6) coherent magnon scattering appears to dominate. With one exception, (TT min) increases as down to the lowest temperatures for all investigated Fe-contents (x10.4) in zero magnetic field as well as in applied 6 T. The value of the slopes, 6.3(6) ( cm)–1 K–1/2, agrees with the universal scaling behaviour reported recently by Cochrane and Strom-Olsen for systems with strong electron-electron interaction. A large, linear rise of (T<T min,B=0) observed in the most diluted sample (x=2.4) is tentatively attributed to quantum localization in the non-reentrant spin glass phase. The magnitude of the temperature effects on (T) above as well as belowT min indicates significantd-band contributions to the conductivity.  相似文献

We have performed Muon Spin Relaxation (SR) measurements of several heavy fermion systems: UNi2Al3 (single crystal), UPd2Al3 (single crystal) and U2PtC2 (polycrystal). ZF -SR measurements of UNi2Al3 show magnetic order below the Néel temperatureT N=4.6K, with the muon precession frequency(T 0)=2.5MHz at low temperatures. The local field distribution obtained at low temperatures in UNi2Al3 resembles that of the incommensurate spin density wave (SDW) system (TMTSF)2PF6, suggesting an incommensurate spin arrangement in UNi2Al3. TF -SR measurements give the penetration depth(T 0)=6100Å for UPd2Al3 and(T 0)=7000Å for U2PtC2 respectively. Since UPd2Al3 and U2PtC2 are clean superconductors (/l-0), we can combine n s/m* with the Sommerfeld constant n s 1/3 m* to calculate the Fermi temperatureT F 3/4–1/4, which represents the characteristic energy scale of the superconducting carriers. We obtainT C/TF 0.01 for both UPd2Al3 and U2PtC2, comparable to other exotic superconductors, but quite different from simple metal BCS superconductors, whereT C/TF 0.01.  相似文献

Theac anddc susceptibilities of (La1–x Gd x )Al2 alloys were measured for moderate Gd concentrations (0.01x0.08) between 0.05 and 4.2 K. Sharp spin glass like maxima in AC are observed at temperaturesT f which scale asT f /x 26 K for all samples. However, scaling of AC is not observed indicating that the RKKY interaction at short distances which becomes more important with increasing Gd concentration, is ferromagnetic in this system. The amplitudeV 0 of the RKKY interaction is obtained from both the approach to the saturation magnetization and AC forT0, yielding a mean value 0=(1.5±0.3) 10–26 eV cm3 which is in agreement with that observed in other systems with Gd impurities. Furthermore, the inferred value of the exchange integral is in accord with other measurements (T c depression, reverse resistance anomaly) on (La, Gd)Al2. A superposeddc magnetic field rounds the maximum of AC and shifts it to lower temperatures. AC is completely flat below 4.2 K in a field which saturates the isothermal remanent magnetization, showing once again the correlation between the peak in AC and the onset of irreversible properties.This work is part of the research program of the Sonderforschungsbereich 125 Aachen/Jülich/Köln  相似文献
