Toeplitz型矩阵的逆矩阵的快速三角分解算法

针对有关“型”矩阵的三角分解问题 ,提出了一种 Toeplitz型矩阵的逆矩阵的快速三角分解算法 .首先假设给定 n阶非奇异矩阵 A,利用一组线性方程组的解 ,得到 A- 1的一个递推关系式 ,进而利用该关系式得到 A- 1的一种三角分解表达式 ,然后从 Toeplitz型矩阵的特殊结构出发 ,利用上述定理的结论 ,给出了Toeplitz型矩阵的逆矩阵的一种快速三角分解算法 ,算法所需运算量为 O( mn2 ) .最后 ,数值计算表明该算法的可靠性 .     

矩阵奇异值的极值性质

讨论了矩阵奇异值的问题,利用奇异值分解定理给出了奇异值的极值性质,并用其证明了矩阵论中关于奇异值的一些经典结论.     

再谈n阶矩阵m次方幂的通项公式

文[1]曾给出一类n阶矩阵的方幂的通项公式,但只限于矩阵A(或A~k)全部特征根相等的情形。本文给出另一类n阶矩阵即A(或a~k)全部不同特征根为两个的分解定理,并在分解定理的基础上给出这类n阶矩阵的方幂的通项     

四元数矩阵的惯性定理与稳定性

本文给出了四元数矩阵惯性的定义,讨论了四元数体上Lyapunov矩阵方程的唯一解,推广了一般惯性定理、Lyapunov稳定性定理、Carlson-Schneider定理、Stein稳定性定理等一些重要的结果到四元数矩阵,同时得出了四元数体上稳定矩阵的一些判别条件.     

一类线性离散时间系统的渐近稳定性

本文在线性离散时间系统Xn 1=AXn的常系数矩阵的∞ 范数为 1的前提下 ,给出了判断系统渐近稳定的充要条件 ,作为推论 ,本文对高阶线性离散时间系统渐近稳定性的最新Хусаинов和Никифорова( 1 999)定理 (简称X H定理 )给出了一个新的简洁证明 .

The theory of companion matrices is used to give explicit representations for the matrices needed in Roth's removal rule. These are then used to give simple proofs for the cyclic decomposition theorem, as well as for Roth's similarity theorem for matrices over a field.

Decomposable symmetric designs

The first infinite families of symmetric designs were obtained from finite projective geometries, Hadamard matrices, and difference sets. In this paper we describe two general methods of constructing symmetric designs that give rise to the parameters of all other known infinite families of symmetric designs. The method of global decomposition produces an incidence matrix of a symmetric design as a block matrix with each block being a zero matrix or an incidence matrix of a smaller symmetric design. The method of local decomposition represents incidence matrices of a residual and a derived design of a symmetric design as block matrices with each block being a zero matrix or an incidence matrix of a smaller residual or derived design, respectively.     

树的稳定子集和稳定指标

一个实矩阵的符号稳定性问题在经济学、生态学等诸多领域中都有应用背景．本文利用[1]中给出的不可约矩阵的符号稳定性的有关结论，将一个实矩阵的符号稳定性判定问题转化为一个等价的图论问题，即判定无向树中一个点子集的稳定性问题．本文引入了树的稳定子集的概念并给出了稳定子集的递归判别方法．本文还提出井研究了树的稳定指标，即树中所有稳定子集的最小基数，证明了关于稳定指标的一个min—max型定理，井给出了n阶树的稳定指标的最好上界及达到上界的极树的完全刻划。     

Unified tame theorem

The well-known tame theorem tells that for a given tame bocs and a positive integer n there exist finitely many minimal bocses, such that any representation of the original bocs of dimension at most n is isomorphic to the image of a representation of some minimal bocses under a certain reduction functor. In the present paper we will give an alternative statement of the tame theorem in terms of matrix problem, by constructing a unified minimal matrix problem whose indecomposable matrices cover all the canoni...     

无界分块算子矩阵的谱分布

本文首先给出次对角元有界的2×2阶无界算子矩阵的Gershgorin定理,然后利用主对角元算子的谱和数值域刻画整个算子矩阵的谱分布.特别地,当次对角元算子互为共轭(反共轭)算子时,结合二次数值域和Gershgorin定理对谱分布给出更精细的描述.     

Noncommutative spectral decomposition with quasideterminant

We develop a noncommutative analogue of the spectral decomposition with the quasideterminant defined by I. Gelfand and V. Retakh. In this theory, by introducing a noncommutative Lagrange interpolating polynomial and combining a noncommutative Cayley-Hamilton's theorem and an identity given by a Vandermonde-like quasideterminant, we can systematically calculate a function of a matrix even if it has noncommutative entries. As examples, the noncommutative spectral decomposition and the exponential matrices of a quaternionic matrix and of a matrix with entries being harmonic oscillators are given.

Algebraic transition matrices in the Conley index theory

We introduce the concept of an algebraic transition matrix. These are degree zero isomorphisms which are upper triangular with respect to a partial order. It is shown that all connection matrices of a Morse decomposition for which the partial order is a series-parallel admissible order are related via a conjugation with one of these transition matrices. This result is then restated in the form of an existence theorem for global bifurcations. Simple examples of how these results can be applied are also presented.
