According to a mathematical model for dense two-phase flows presented in theprevious paper,a dense two-phase flow in a vertical pipeline is analytically solved,and theanalytic expressions of velocity of each continuous phase and dispersed phase arerespectively derived The results show that when the drag force between two phases dependslinearly on their relative velocity,the relative velocity profile in the pipeline coincides withDarcy’s law except for the thin layer region near the pipeline wall,and that the theoreticalassumptions in the dense two-phase flow theory mentioned are reasonable.  相似文献

The effect of liquid viscosity on the initiation of slug flow was studied in horizontal 2.52 and 9.53 cm pipelines. The results show the stabilizing effect of viscosity predicted by Lin & Hanratty, and are at variance with analyses which use a long-wavelength inviscid approximation. For very viscous liquids a stability analysis which recognizes that slugs originate from a train of small-wavelength sinusoidal waves seems consistent with the measurements.  相似文献

Using the multivision technique, a new void fraction measurement method was developed for bubble and slug flow in a small channel. The multivision system was developed to obtain images of the two-phase flow in two perpendicular directions. The obtained images were processed—using image segmentation, image subtraction, Canny edge detection, binarization, and hole filling—to extract the phase boundaries and information about the bubble or slug parameters. With the extracted information, a new void fraction measurement model was developed and used to determine the void fraction of the two-phase flow. The proposed method was validated experimentally in horizontal and vertical channels with different inner diameters of 2.1, 2.9, and 4.0 mm. The proposed method of measuring the void fraction has better performance than the methods that use images acquired in only one direction, with a maximum absolute difference between the measured and reference values of less than 6%.  相似文献

The transport coefficients in the coupled equations of two-phase flow are defined if the pressure gradient in one of the two flowing fluids is equal to zero. This definition has been used in experiments with oil and water in a sandpack and the four transport coefficients have been measured over wide water saturation ranges. The values of the cross coefficients were found to be significant as they ranged from 10 to 35% of the value of the effective permeability to water and from 5 to 15% of the effective permeability to oil, respectively.  相似文献

本文发展了P.Wolanski等人建立的关于一维自持粉尘-空气混合物的爆轰模型,考虑了气、固两相通过击波以后的温度弛豫效应。作者根据文献中所建立的Chapman-Jouguet条件的表述:在定常爆轰的C-J平面上,我们有M=1和dM=0,给出了一种确定自持爆速的有效算法。这一方法具有独立于方程组的积分方式,因而优于至今人们给出的其他同类算法。用改进后的模型和算法,作者对粉尘爆轰波结构的基本特征和参数影响作了初步探讨。文中一些理论结果还与国外同类实验结果进行了对比。  相似文献

泥石流这一特殊的二相流体是山区常见的一种自然灾害,一般可分为稀性泥石流(颗粒碰撞及离散力起主导作用)和粘性泥石流(粘性力起主导作用)两大类。本文概略地评述了泥石流的几个问题,即泥石流形成学、分类学、动力学等,指出急需解决的问题有泥石流汇流理论、泥石流阻力规律等。文中还根据近年来的动态和趋向,推断更加深入的理论研究和以数学模型为核心的泥石流流域管理模式将会成为泥石流学科发展的主要方向。  相似文献

The study considers the prediction of the entrained liquid fraction in adiabatic gas–liquid annular two-phase flow in vertical pipes. Nine empirical correlations have been tested against an experimental data bank drawn together in this study containing 1504 points for 8 different gas–liquid combinations and 19 different tube diameters from 5.00 mm to 57.1 mm. The correlation of Sawant, Ishii and Mishima and the one of Oliemans, Pots and Trompé were found to best reproduce the available data. A new correlating approach, derived from both physical intuition and dimensional analysis and capable of providing further physical insight into the liquid film atomization process, was proposed and worked better than any of the existing methods. This new correlation is based on the core flow Weber number that is also a controlling dimensionless group in determining the wall shear stress and associated frictional pressure gradient of annular flows.  相似文献

Velocities of solid phase and liquid phase in debris flow are one key problem to research on impact and abrasion mechanism of banks and control structures under action of debris flow. Debris flow was simplified as two-phase liquid composed of solid phase with the same diameter particles and liquid phase with the same mechanical features. Assume debris flow was one-dimension two-phase liquid moving to one direction, then general equations of velocities of solid phase and liquid phase were founded in two-phase theory. Methods to calculate average pressures, volume forces and surface forces of debris flow control volume were established. Specially, surface forces were ascertained using Bingham's rheology equation of liquid phase and Bagnold's testing results about interaction between particles of solid phase. Proportional coefficient of velocities between liquid phase and solid phase was put forward, meanwhile, divergent coefficient between theoretical velocity and real velocity of solid phase was provided too. To state succinctly before, method to calculate velocities of solid phase and liquid phase was obtained through solution to general equations. The method is suitable for both viscous debris flow and thin debris flow. Additionally, velocities every phase can be identified through analyzing deposits in-situ after occurring of debris flow. It is obvious from engineering case the result in the method is consistent to that in real-time field observation.  相似文献

In the present paper, random-choice method (RCM) and second-order GRP difference method, which are high resolution methods used for pure gas flows with shocks, are extended and employed to study the problem of one-dimensional unsteady two-phase flows. The two-phase shock wave and the flow field behind it in a dusty gas shock tube are calculated and the time-dependent change of the fiow parameters for the gas antiparticle phase are obtained. The numerical results indicate that both the two methods can give the relaxation structure of the two-phase shocks with a sharp discontinuous front and that the GRP method has the advantages of less time-consuming and higher accuracy over the RCM method.  相似文献

A time-dependent numerical algorithm is developed for the two-fluid model Euler of TLNS (thin layer Navier–Stokes) equations. The analysis is based on a MUSCL (monotone upstream central scheme for conservation laws)-type flux-vector-splitting scheme with the multi-level technique. This algorithm is applied to investigate JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) nozzle flow. Calculated results for both one- and two-phase flows are given to show the accuracy, the computational efficiency and the particle influence on the flow field.  相似文献

This paper is an extended study from previous work. In this study, the focus is paid to the dynamics of bubble rising and deformation in a complex channel, while the previous work is in straight channel. For this purpose, a three-dimensional lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is employed to simulate the dynamics behaviour of a bubble rising in a complex channel consisting of three half-round throats. To validate the numerical method, a visual experiment was carried out by means of a high-speed digital camera and computer image processing technology. The behaviour of the rising bubble through glycerine solution in a complex channel was recorded. Some physical parameters such as rising velocities, trajectory and shapes of the bubble were calculated and processed based on the experimental data. In the same conditions, the trajectory, shapes and rising velocities of the bubble were simulated during its rising process by the proposed LBM. The numerical results are in good agreement with the experimental results. It demonstrates that LBM used in this work is feasible for simulating two-phase flow in such a complex channel.  相似文献

本文分析了单相流、二相流和多相流等概念上的差异,也分析了单流体模型、双流体模型和多流体模型等概念上的差异,指出前面三种概念是按流动介质的客观物理构成划分的,而后者是按主观采用的研究方法划分的.目前这些概念在使用中存在一些混乱,如二相流与多相流,多相流与多流体模型等.本文还研究了扩散模型、非牛顿流模型和颗粒流模型等,指出前两种模型在分类上属于单流体模型,分析了非牛顿流模型、扩散模型和双(多)流体模型的特点和应用范围,最后,以泥石流为例讨论了以上概念的应用.  相似文献

Solid–liquid two-phase flow in a finite Reynolds number range (2 < Re < 12), transporting neutrally-buoyant microspheres with diameters of 6, 10, and 16 μm through a 260-μm microcapillary, is investigated. A standard microparticle-tracking velocimetry (μ-PTV) that consists of a double-pulsed Nd:YAG laser, an epi-fluorescent microscope, and a cooled-CCD camera is used to examine the flow. The solid particles are visualized in view of their spatial distributions. We observe a strong radial migration of the particles across the flow streamlines at substantially small Re. The degree of particle migration is presented in terms of probability density function. Some applications based on this radial migration phenomena are discussed in conjunction with particle separation/concentration in microfluidic devices, where the spatial distribution of particles is of great importance. In doing so, we propose a particle-trajectory function to empirically construct the spatial distribution of solid particles, which is well correlated with our experimental data. It is believed that this function provides a simple method for estimating the spatial distribution of particles undergoing radial migration in solid–liquid two-phase flows.  相似文献

A series of experiments were performed to improve understanding of the hydrodynamic mechanisms relevant to the flooding phenomenon in gas-liquid countercurrent flow through vertical short multitube geometries. In addition to the conventional measurements of global hydrodynamic parameters such as phasic flow rates and two-phase pressure drops, the local time-varying thicknesses of the liquid films trickling down the individual tubes were measured by means of conductance probes mounted flush at different locations of the inner wall surfaces. A PC-based data acquisition and analysis system was developed to collect these highly fluctuating data and to make detailed statistical analyses. The experimental results and visual observations revealed two dominant hydrodynamic instability mechanisms that have not been well taken into account by the existing semiempirical models.  相似文献

Pumping of liquids using two-phase flow has been examined experimentally in small air-lift pumps with 12—19 mm bore plexiglass tubes. An air injection system was devised to create and maintain ‘perfect’ slug flow in the vertical riser tube. An equation has been derived, based on momentum conservation considerations, which correlates well with the measurements obtained. Slip variation, or liuid holdup, between the two phases and the formation of the ‘entrance’ section part of the pump (suction pipe) were taken into consideration. Unlike its predecessors, this equation predicts the reversal in the pump performance curve observed experimentally.  相似文献

A theoretical analysis of the wet-steam flow in the low pressure cylinder of a 500 MW steam turbine using a blade-to-blade time-marching computer program is described. The calculating method can compute most types of wet-steam flow found in LP turbines, including those involving both primary and secondary nucleations in transonic and supersonic blading with shock waves. In particular, condensing flows in highly staggered rotor tip sections can be computed without difficulty. Extensive results are presented showing the effect of departures from thermal equilibrium on the blade surface pressure and velocity distributions, the blade outlet relative flow angle, the mass flow coefficient and the thermodynamic loss coefficient. On the basis of the analysis, recommendations are made concerning the application of nonequilibrium wet-steam theory to steam turbine design.  相似文献

本文采用粒子图像测速技术(particles image velocimetry, PIV)研究固体颗粒对放置在平板湍流边界层中的平壁和沟槽壁面减阻效果的影响. 实验对清水和加入粒径为155 μm聚苯乙烯颗粒的流法向二维速度场信息进行采集, 对不同工况下的平均速度剖面、雷诺应力和湍流度等统计量进行对比, 分析流体在边界层中的行为. 运用空间局部平均结构函数提取了不同工况湍流边界层喷射−扫掠行为的空间拓扑结构并进行比较. 结果发现, 在不同的壁面条件下, 粒子加入后的对数律区中无量纲速度均略大于清水组, 雷诺切应力有所降低, 湍流度有所减弱. 对于不同流场速度下的沟槽而言, 颗粒的加入均降低了壁面附近的阻力, 而颗粒单独作用于光滑壁面的减阻效果并不明显. 加入粒子后的相干结构数目有所增加, 法向脉动速度下降. 沟槽壁面附近的相干结构数目有所增加, 法向脉动速度在自由来流速度较大时有所上升, 在速度较小时有所下降. 这表明不同减阻状况下的沟槽均能将大涡破碎成更多的涡, 并且粒子的加入强化了这种破碎作用.
