New experimental data on the dynamics of polarization reversal in thin PZT films prepared by rf sputtering are reported. The frequency and amplitude dependences of the hysteresis loop area and coercive field are investigated. It is shown that, at infralow frequencies, there exists a critical frequency at which the shape of the hysteresis loop changes stepwise. Theoretical analysis of the related problems is given.  相似文献

We define magnetization for a noisy autoassociative neural network driven by an external periodic field. Numerical simulations are carried out to investigate the effect of drive amplitude and frequency and noise strength on the area of the hysteresis loop. We observe that in the presence of weak periodic signal, the network exhibits a maximum in the hysteresis loop area at a nonzero noise intensity indicating maximum synchronization between the periodic signal and the response. It also goes through a maximum as a function of signal frequency.  相似文献

A phenomenological model has been proposed for the formation of the major thermal hysteresis loop of optical parameters upon the semiconductor-metal phase transition in vanadium oxide nanocomposites. It has been demonstrated that the effects associated with the influence of nanocrystallite sizes on the phase transition temperature in an individual nanocrystallite, which is determined by the width of the elementary hysteresis loop and the position of the phase equilibrium temperature on the temperature scale, manifest themselves in the form of pronounced features in the loop shape. In particular, the size effects for VO2 polycrystalline films are observed in the formation of a trapezoidal shape of the optical thermal hysteresis loop with a wide lower base, whereas these effects for nanocomposites based on porous glasses with VO2 nanocrystals are revealed in the form of the optical hysteresis loop with a narrow lower base (wide upper base). The proposed model also explains the symmetric shape of the major hysteresis loop for vanadium oxide nanocomposites based on opals. The size effects in opal nanocomposites with strictly fixed sizes of pores and, therefore, nanocrystallite sizes manifest themselves in the form of well-defined steps in the heating and cooling branches of the major hysteresis loop.  相似文献

建立了铁电/铁磁双层膜模型,铁电层的电矩用连续标量描述,而铁磁层的自旋应用经典矢量描述.利用蒙特卡罗方法模拟了体系的热力学性质和极化、磁化行为.给出了零场下体系的内能、比热、极化和磁化随温度变化的关系,并分别研究了体系在外磁场和外电场下的极化和磁化行为.模拟结果表明,双层膜体系的内能、比热、极化和磁化性质因层间耦合系数的不同而明显不同,当界面耦合较弱时,双层膜表现出各自的热力学性质,当层间耦合增强到一定程度时,双层膜耦合为一个整体,表现出统一的热力学性质.该双层膜在外场中形成电滞回线和磁滞回线,并表现出偏置特性,界面耦合强度和温度影响滞后回线和偏置现象.  相似文献

Dynamic phase transition phenomena in ultrathin films described by the Blume–Capel model have been investigated using Monte Carlo simulations. Hysteresis loops, micromagnetic structures, and hysteresis loop area curves, as well as dynamic correlation between the magnetization and the external field have been studied as functions of the field, as well as the film parameters. The variation of critical coupling of the modified film surface at which the transition temperature becomes independent of film thickness has been clarified for varying system parameters. Frequency dispersion of hysteresis loop area has been found to obey a power law for low and moderate frequencies for both ordinary and enhanced surfaces.  相似文献

A Monte Carlo approach based on the Q-state Potts model is developed to describe and simulate the dynamic hysteresis of Potts spin lattice against periodic time-varying external field E. The dynamic responses of the hysteresis loops against frequency P of applied field and domain size R are studied. It is revealed that the hysteresis loops for the system energy W, polarization P, and domain wall fraction @ depend considerably on the frequency and domain size. The remnant polarization Pr shows a single-peak pattern as a function of P. The P-E loop exhibits thin rhomb and fat rhomb patterns at low P, whereas a tip-smoothed rhomb and roughly elliptical pattern is observed at high P. The loop area can be scaled with Q,P1/3 at low P. The frequency dependency of the dynamic hysteresis is explained in terms of a simplified phenomenological model. At very small domain size, the dynamic hysteresis is significantly compressed, predicting the polarization weakening effect at small domain size.  相似文献

Discrete potentials can describe properly the liquid vapour boundary that is necessary to model the adsorption of gas molecules in mesoporous systems with computer simulations. Although there are some works in this subject, the simulations are still highly time-consuming. Here we show that an efficient alternative is to use the three-dimensional Ising model, which allows one to model large systems, with geometries as complex as required that accurately represent the liquid vapour boundary. In particular, we report molecular simulations of cylindrical pores of two different geometries, using a discrete potential. The effect of the length of the pore in the hysteresis loop for a finite pore and infinite one is studied in detail. Lastly, we compare our predictions with experimental results and find excellent agreement between the area of the hysteresis loop predicted for the finite pore and that found in adsorption/desorption experiments.  相似文献

采用粘合法制备了叠层结构的块体Terfenol-D/PZT磁电复合材料,测量了不同频率下的磁电回线,采用新的极坐标下的方式做图.从极坐标下的磁电回线中可以看出,随直流磁场的变化,非谐振频率下的磁电相位发生了轻微移动,移动幅度随频率的增加而增加;而在谐振频率下,伴随着巨磁电效应,磁电相位发生了显著移动,移动幅度达到了近90°.与粉末Terfenol-D/环氧树脂/PZT磁电复合材料对比之后表明,非谐振频率下块体Terfenol-D/PZT的磁电相位移动主要由涡流引起;而谐振频率下大幅度相位移动则主要来源于Terfenol-D的磁致弹性变化.  相似文献

The decay of the hysteresis loop area of the system, which is obeying a site diluted kinetic Ising model, is considered by the disorder parameter using the effective field theory analysis. The exhibition focuses on the understanding of external field frequency, amplitude and the site concentration dependency of the hysteresis loop area for several powerful treatments. Important characteristics of the hysteretic response, such as frequency dispersion, effect of domain nucleation phenomenon on the dynamic process, etc., has been introduced together with well known other characteristics. An attempt has been made to explain the relations between the competing time scales (intrinsic microscopic relaxation time of the system and the time period of the external oscillatory field) and the shape of the response. The magnetic properties, such as initial permeability and hysteresis loop properties of the chromium substituted Li–Sb ferrite system have been investigated. The SEM micrographs reveal the microstructure of the samples. The initial permeability is observed to decrease with the increase of chromium concentration. Frequency variation of permeability indicates that for all samples the resonance peak due to domain wall oscillations is at a frequency above 15 MHz. The hysteresis loop parameters have been calculated from the hysteresis loop studies. The magnetic parameters are observed to decrease with higher level of substitution.  相似文献

基于球形无规键无规场模型和电场作用下弛豫铁电体微畴-宏畴机理,利用模糊畴界观点以及电场对极化的分数维效应,分析了电场对畴的作用机理.研究结果表明:电场对畴的诱导偶极子增量的极化效应导致了电滞回线的不饱和及相关的大的电致伸缩效应;而畴的偶极子增量耦合时结合能的变化对低电场的电滞回线略有影响,但基本不会改变高电场时的极化状态.初始微畴大小对电滞回线非常重要,细小的微畴会导致细长的电滞回线及电场与电致伸缩良好的线性关系.  相似文献

Thermal hysteresis of the reflectivity of vanadium dioxide films observed upon the metal-semiconductor phase transition is studied. The major hysteresis loop is assumed to form when the phase equilibrium temperature in film grains and the grain size vary and correlate with each other. Within the suggested concept of hysteresis loop formation, it is demonstrated that the major loop may be asymmetric, i.e., broadened (shifted) toward lower temperatures. Unlike hysteresis branches for VO2 bulk single crystal, those for VO2 films are extended along the temperature axis and may exhibit a step if the grain size distribution has several maxima. The validity of the concept is verified experimentally. It is also shown that atomic force microscopy (AFM) data for the grain size distribution can serve to determine the distribution parameters from the phase equilibrium temperatures without constructing a complete set of minor hysteresis loops, as was required before.  相似文献

The hysteresis behaviors of the cylindrical Ising nanowire are investigated within the effective-field theory with correlations at temperatures below, around and above the critical temperature. The hysteresis curves are obtained for different reduced temperatures both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions between the shell and the core. We find that the hysteresis loop areas decrease when the reduced temperatures increase, and the hysteresis loops disappear at certain reduced temperatures. Moreover, for the antiferromagnetic nanowire the hysteresis loop areas disappear earlier than the ferromagnetic case as the reduced temperature increases. An unusual form of triple hysteresis behaviors is observed for the antiferromagnetic nanowire system. The thermal behaviors of the coercivities and remanent magnetizations are also investigated. The results are in good agreement with some experimental and theoretical results.  相似文献

The intrinsic angular-dependent hysteresis loops in perpendicular recording media have been measured by iteratively correcting the demagnetization effect in order to maintain the internal total field at a fixed angle. Both the angle and the magnitude of the applied field are adjusted simultaneously to compensate for the demagnetization field change. Significant differences have been observed between the conventional angular-dependent hysteresis loop with a constant applied field angle and the intrinsic angular-dependent hysteresis loop with a fixed total field angle. Without demagnetization corrections, the field range in which irreversible magnetization occurs changes as a function of the field angle, whereas it remains constant if proper demagnetization field corrections are applied.  相似文献

A Monte Carlo algorithm for dynamic hysteresis simulation in ferroelectric spin systems is developed based on a DIFFOUR model in which the local spontaneous polarization is defined by the double-well potential energy and the nearest-neighbor spin interaction as well as an external electrical field of variable amplitude and frequency. A direct measurement of the hysteresis loop for ferroelectric Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 thin film capacitors using the Sawyer–Tower technique is performed. Significant dependence of the hysteresis shape and pattern on the external field is revealed. Direct imaging of the simulated domain pattern indicates serious suppression of the domain switching over the high-frequency range. The evaluated scaling relations from the simulation for remanence, coercivity, and the area of the hysteresis over the low-frequency range are supported by theoretical predictions and experiments, but the high-frequency scaling behaviors as derived are different from one and another.
