The influence of the discharge conditions on the dynamics of energy release is considered for pulsed arcs in air at initial pressures from 105 to 8×105 Pa and a low-voltage capacitor voltage of up to 400 V. A novel method for determining the resistance of the discharge channel in the final stage of a spark discharge is proposed. The method is applied to estimating the discharge channel parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, the electrical properties of black phosphorus(BP) are investigated. Back-gated field-effect transistors (FETs) array with different channel length are fabricated on the same BP nanoflake. The device exhibits high current on/off ratio (5 × 103), high field-effect mobility (130 cm2 V?1 s?1) and low contact resistance (917 Ω μm). In addition, the stability of BP device is also explored. Results show that the 10 nm Al2O3 dielectric layer can effectively depress the exposure of BP flakes with air and then protect the BP devices from ambient degradation. There is no noticeable degradation in device performance for the devices with 10 nm Al2O3 passivating layer even after being exposed in air for 2 weeks.  相似文献

The results of experimental investigation of critical flow of liquid nitrogen in a long adiabatic channel are presented. As the experimental specimen a channel with a length of 1646 mm, and an inner diameter of 4 mm was used. Pressure in the experiments at the inlet to the specimen was changed in the range pin = (3.06–5.39) × 105 Pa, the outlet pressure was pout = (1.26–4.44) × 105 Pa, and the volumetric flow rate was in the range V = (0–0.042) × 10–3 m3/s. The calculation of the coordinate of the cross section, in which one should expect the emergence of a shock wave, has been conducted. The calculation of local values of speed of sound and the velocity of the mixture allowed us to determine the critical value of the volumetric vapor quality in the critical cross section. Quantitative comparison of the conditions of emergence and existence of the critical flow in the long channel in comparison with short channels is carried out. Fundamental differences are shown.  相似文献

A contact transient electrothermal technique (CTET) is developed to characterize the thermal transport between one-dimensional conductive and nonconductive microscale wires that are in point contact. This technique is a significant advance from the transient electrothermal method that is used to characterize the thermophysical properties of individual one-dimensional micro-wires. A steady-state analytical solution and a transient numerical solution are used to independently determine the value for the thermal contact resistance between the wires at the contact point. The CTET technique is applied to measurement of the thermal contact resistance between crossed Pt wires (25.4 μm diameter) and the thermal contact resistance between a glass fiber (8.9 μm diameter) in contact with a Pt wire (25.4 μm diameter). For Pt wire contact, the thermal contact resistance increases from 8.94×104 to 7.05×105 K/W when the heating current changes from 20 to 50 mA. For the Pt/glass fiber contact, the thermal contact resistance is much larger (2.83×106 K/W), mainly due to the smaller area at the contact point.  相似文献

This piece of work is concerned with the application of two conventional measuring probes, pressure probe and hot wire, in the wall layer of subsonic ducted, pipe and channel, flows for velocity measurements. Careful measurements have been carried out and analysed accordingly for Reynolds number range of 2.8×105≤Rem≤4.5×105 and 4×104≤Rem≤2.3×105 for the pipe and the channel, respectively. Pressure probes of outer diameters (d 0 + = d 0·uτ/v) 20-120 wall units and hot wire, having wire length (l+= l uτ/v) of 50-250 for the current Reynolds range, have been utilized to carry out the present measurements. When the pressure probe was applied in the wall layer, the wall proximity and the shear gradient played major roles of its incorrect velocity readings, however, this effect was far from being influencing the hot-wire velocity measured in the overlap region. When the pressure probe results compared to those obtained by the hot wire, the pressure probe's data showed hump in the normalized mean velocity profiles around the wall distances y+≤300 and y+≤150 for the pipe and the channel, respectively. Available corrections are adopted and applied to the pressure probe data measured, yielding results that are comparable to those of the hot wire and this was also demonstrated by comparing the present results corrected to the so-called the logarithmic velocity profile.  相似文献

Electrical conductivities of thin crystals of Bi2(Te,S)3 measured from 4.2°K to 300°K fall into four regions: 1) σ < 1.3×10?5 S with positive temperature coefficient of conductivity; 2) 1.3×10?5 S < σ < 1.4×10?5 S with temperature independent conductivity; 3) 1.4×10?5 S σ < 4×10?5 S with negative temperature coefficient of conductivity, and 4) σ > 4×10?5 S with hardly any temperature dependence. A disproportionately high fraction of samples falls into the second range; 1.3×10?5 S < σ < 1.4×10?5 S.  相似文献

A study is made of the effects related to the formation of electrode jets in discharges in hydrogen and air at a current of 105–106 A, a current growth rate of 1010 A/s, an initial pressure of 0.1–4.0 MPa, and a discharge gap length of 5–40 mm. After secondary breakdown, jets are observed in a semitransparent discharge channel expanding with a velocity of (4–7)×102 m/s. The formation of shock waves in the interaction of the jets with the ambient gas and the opposite electrode is observed by the shadowgraphy method. Seventy microseconds after the beginning of the discharge, the pressure of the metal vapor plasma near the end of the tungsten cathode amounts to 177 MPa. The brightness temperature in this case is T=59×103 K, the average ion charge number is [`(m)] = 3.1\overline m = 3.1 , and the metal vapor density is n=5.3×1019 cm−3. After 90 μs, the average ion charge number and the metal vapor density near the anode end are [`(m)] = 2.6\overline m = 2.6 and n=7.4×1019 cm−3, respectively. Based on the experimental data, possible reasons for the abnormally high values of the total voltage drop near the electrodes (up to ∼1 kV) are discussed.  相似文献

A combination of sheet resistance, stripping and Hall effect measurements have been made on phosphorus layers implanted into silicon at 40 and 100 keV with doses between 1 × 1015 and 5 × 1016 atoms/cm2. The implants were made at room temperature and 450°C. After annealing at 650°C, the profile of electrically active phosphorus following a high dose room temperature implant, was found to be flat topped with a concentration of approximately 5 × 1020/cm3. Very little diffusion occurred when annealing to 850°C where the free electron concentration increased to approximately 1.5 × 1021/cm3. Highly doped channeled tails were found when implanting at 450°C along the 〈110〉 direction and damage was being continuously annealed out preventing the formation of an amorphous phase. The rapid diffusion of the profile into the bulk found when annealing between 650°C and 850°C was speculated to be due to the presence of a dense dislocation entanglement in these layers following a hot implant.  相似文献

A search for free neutron-antineutron oscillations has been carried out at the Pavia Triga Mark II research reactor. A thin carbon target is crossed by a beam of thermal neutrons propagating in a 18.5 m long channel where the earth magnetic field is attenuated by a factor of 50. The total neutron current through the target is 3.2×1010 n/s. Possible antineutron annihilations are identified by a large track detector surrounding the target. A lower limit on the oscillation time of 4.7×105 s (90% C.L.) has been reached.  相似文献

In order to study the effect of tin ion implantation on the aqueous corrosion behavior of zirconium, specimens were implanted with tin ions to a fluence ranging from 1 × 1020 to 5 × 1021 ions/m2, using a metal vapor vacuum arc source (MEVVA) at an extraction voltage of 40 kV. The valence states and depth distributions of elements in the surface layer were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and auger electron spectroscopy (AES) respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to examine the micro-morphology and microstructure of tin-implanted samples. When the fluence was greater than 1 × 1020 ions/m2, many small tin balls were produced in the implanted surface. The potentiodynamic polarization technique was employed to evaluate the aqueous corrosion resistance of implanted zirconium in a 1N H2SO4 solution. It was found that a significant improvement was achieved in the aqueous corrosion resistance of zirconium implanted with 1 × 1020 ions/m2. When the fluence is higher than 1 × 1020 ions/m2, the corrosion resistance of zirconium implanted with tin ions decreased compared with that of the non-implanted zirconium. Finally, the mechanism of the corrosion behavior of the tin-implanted zirconium is discussed.  相似文献

Transient heat transfer of liquid methane under forced convection in a 1.8 mm × 1.8 mm asymmetrically heated square channel was investigated. This study is aimed at understanding the heat transfer behavior of cryogenic propellant in cooling channels of a regeneratively cooled rocket engine at the start-up condition. To simulate high heat load conditions representative of regeneratively cooled rocket engines, a high heat flux test facility with cryogenic liquid handing capabilities was developed at the Center for Space Exploration Technology Research. The time history of inlet and outlet fluid temperatures and test section channel wall temperatures were measured at high heat flux conditions (from 1.19 to 3.80 MW/m2) and a Reynolds number (Re) range of 1.88 × 105 to 3.45 × 105. The measured wall temperature data point toward possible film boiling within the test section during certain tests, particularly with higher heat fluxes and lower Reynolds number conditions that resulted in higher wall temperatures. The transient average Nusselt numbers (NuL) of the channel obtained from the experimental measurements are lower than those calculated from the Sieder–Tate correlation (NuO); however, the ratio (NuL/NuO) increases with the increase in Reynolds number. The ratio is around 0.25 at the lower end of Re and then increases to 0.7 at the maximum Re studied in the present investigation.  相似文献

A field-effect configuration based on La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrTiO3/Si structure is fabricated on Si substrate by laser molecular-beam epitaxy. The resistance modulation by electric field of the La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrTiO3/Si structure is investigated in detail. An evident resistance modulation effect is observed at 80 K. The channel resistance modulation by field effect reaches 1.4×107% and 2.6×106% when V DS are −2 and −6.5 V, respectively. The ON/OFF ratio of approximately 4000 is obtained. The present results are worthy of further investigations for potential applications of resistance modulation by electrostatic field in the heterostructures consisting of perovskite oxides and Si. A novel ion exchanged channel KTiOPO4 waveguide formation technique is introduced, which can avoid a metal mask being dissolved in an ion exchanged molten salt. Rb+ ion exchange (340°C, 30 min) was first applied to a KTP sample to produce a planar waveguide substrate, and then Si+ ion implantation (3.0 MeV and 1.5 MeV with doses of 1×1015 ions/cm2 and 6×1014 ions/cm2, respectively) was carried out to construct channel stripes on the planar waveguide surface that has been deposited by a specially designed photoresist mask. The two-dimensional cross sectional refractive index profile of the channel waveguide was reconstructed by considering the shape of the channel waveguide as well as the index distribution of the planar waveguide.  相似文献

采用离子注入法制备了钴离子掺杂的金红石相TiO2样品;离子注入能量、注量分别为40 keV(1×1016cm-2),80 keV(5×1015,1×1016,5×1016,1×1017cm-2),120 keV(1×1016cm-2). 通过XRD,XPS和UV-Vis等手段对掺杂前后样品的结构和光学性能进行了表征,分析了掺杂元素在金红石TiO2中的存在形式. XRD测试表明随着注入能量的增加晶体的损伤程度增加. UV-Vis测试表明掺杂后所有样品在可见光区的吸收增强; 并且随着注量的增加,注量为5×1015cm-2到5×1016cm-2范围内注入样品的光学带隙逐渐变小. 关键词: 钴 二氧化钛 离子注入 掺杂  相似文献

GaP(001) cleaned by argon-ion bombardment and annealed at 500°C showed the Ga-stabilized GaP(001)(4 × 2) structure. Only treatment in 10?5 Torr PH3 at 500°C gave the P-stabilized GaP(001)(1 × 2) structure. The AES peak ratio PGa is 2 for the (4 × 2) and 3.5 for the (1 × 2) structure. Cs adsorbs with a sticking probability of unity up to 5 × 1014 Cs atoms cm?2 and a lower one at higher coverages. The photoemission measured with uv light of 3660 Å showed a maximum at the coverage of 5 × 1014 atoms cm?2. Cs adsorbs amorphously at room temperature, but heat treatment gives ordered structures, which are thought to be reconstructed GaP(001) structures induced by Cs. The LEED patterns showed the GaP(001)(1 × 2) Cs structure formed at 180°C for 10 h with a Cs coverage of 5 × 1014 atoms cm?2, the GaP(001)(1 × 4) Cs formed at 210°C for 10 hours with a Cs coverage of 2.7 × 1014 atoms cm?2, the GaP(001)(7 × 1) and the high temperature GaP(001)(1 × 4), the latter two with very low Cs content. Desorption measurements show three stability regions: (a) between 25–150°C for coverages greater than 5 × 1014 atoms cm?2, and an activation energy of 1.2 eV; (b) between 180–200°C with a coverage of 5 × 1014 atoms cm?2, and an activation energy of 1.8 eV; (c) between 210–400°C with a coverage of 2.7 × 1014 atoms cm?2, and an activation energy of 2.5 eV.  相似文献

Electrostatic discharges obtained upon the irradiation of K-208 glass with 40-keV electrons at a flux density φ of 1010 to 2 × 1011 cm–2 s–1 are studied. The residual pressure p v in the vacuum chamber is varied from 5 × 10–5 to 5 × 10–3 Pa. Structural changes in the sample surfaces are studied by atomic-force microscopy. Depending on the pressure level, two types of discharges are observed in experiments at 3 × 1010 ≤ φ ≤ 1.2 × 1011 cm–2 s–1: a microprojection at the glass–ionized-residual-atmosphere surface and a discharge which develops along the irradiated surface. It is found that at 5 × 10–5p v ≤ 3 × 10–4 Pa and 8 × 1010 ≤ φ ≤ 1011 cm–2 s–1, discharges of the first type appear at the beginning of exposure; that is, an increase in microprojections is observed. Further, surface discharges propagate through these microprojections. At 10–3p v ≤ 5 × 10–3 Pa and 1010 ≤ φ ≤ 5 × 1010 cm–2 s–1, on the contrary, discharges of the second type are realized at the beginning. These discharges result in the appearance of channels with inhomogeneities on the glass, at which subsequently discharges of the first type occur. It is determined by calculations that in the region adjacent to the exposed glass surface, secondary electrons accelerated in a field of charge accumulated in the glass make the main contribution to the ionization of gases.  相似文献

Heat transfer and pressure drop measurements were conducted to study the thermal-hydraulics in a square, round-edged channel roughened by ribs (e/Dh = 0.0638, p/e = 10) on one wall at Reynolds numbers ranging from 5.0 × 104 to 2.5 × 105. Three variously shaped ribs were investigated: Transverse ribs with square cross sections, transverse ribs, and upstream directed 60° V-shaped ribs with round-edged rib front and rear surfaces. Friction factors, Nusselt number ratios, roughness functions, and the thermal performance were presented. The highest heat transfer and best thermal performance is reached by the upstream directed V-shaped ribs.  相似文献

An experimental study of mixed-convection heat and mass transfer flow of a CuS04 + H2S04 + H2O solution in a horizontal channel is performed by using an electrochemical system. Unstable temperature and concentration gradients imposed by a heated cathodic bottom initiate an ascending (secondary) flow of light boundary-layer fluid into the freestream. To visualize the flow, the shadowgraph technique is used. Electrical measurements are used to obtain mass transfer rates and to infer a Sherwood number. The ranges of the parameters studied in the present work for the square channel are Pr = 5-7, Sc = 1,700-2,300, Re = 100-1,000, Grm= 1.27 X 106 and Grab = 4.06 × 106-2.4S × 107.  相似文献

The purpose of this work was to determine levels of 210Pb and 210Po in seawater, sediment cores, fish and seafood as well as to estimate the concentration factors and the bioindicators for 210Pb and 210Po in marine organisms collected in the estuary. 210Pb levels in seawater varied from 2.1 to 6.2 mBq.L?1 and for 210Po ranged from 1.6 to 4.1 mBq.L?1. 210Pb concentration factors in fish varied from 0.5×102 to 0.8×103, in crustaceans from 0.5×103 to 0.2×104 and in shellfish from 0.2×104 to 0.3×104. 210Po concentration factors in fish varied from 0.9×102 to 0.5×104, in crustaceans from 0.5×104 to 0.2×105 and in shellfish from 0.3×105 to 0.9×105. The results obtained to the concentration factors indicated that shellfish and crustaceans are good bioindicators for the radionuclides studies. Some species of fish also accumulated significantly quantities of these radionuclides.  相似文献
