We prove a generalization to the totally real field case of the Waldspurger’s formula relating the Fourier coefficient of
a half integral weight form and the central value of the L-function of an integral weight form. Our proof is based on a new interpretation of Waldspurger’s formula as a combination
of two ingredients – an equality between global distributions, and a dichotomy result for theta correspondence. As applications
we generalize the Kohnen–Zagier formula for holomorphic forms and prove the equivalence of the Ramanujan conjecture for half
integral weight forms and a case of the Lindel?f hypothesis for integral weight forms. We also study the Kohnen space in the
adelic setting.

We introduce a new invariant of bipartite chord diagrams and use it to construct the first examples of groups with Dehn function
n2log n. Some of these groups have undecidable conjugacy problem. Our groups are multiple HNN extensions of free groups. We show
that n2log n is the smallest Dehn function of a multiple HNN extension of a free group with undecidable conjugacy problem.

In previous work arising from the study of Ramanujan's Lost Notebook, a new Abel type lemma was proved. In this paper, we
discuss extensions of this lemma and use it to prove many q-series identities.

We prove that the composition of the A-theory transfer with the trace map to stable homotopy is weakly homotopic to the Becker–Gottlieb
transfer. This shows that the Waldhausen splitting A(*) ≃ Q (S0) × Wh(*) of A-theory into stable homotopy and the Whitehead space is natural with respect to transfer maps.

We describe the relationship between the fuzzy sets and the algebraic hyperstructures. In fact, this paper is a continuation of the ideas presented by Davvaz in (Fuzzy Sets Syst., 117: 477- 484, 2001) and Bhakat and Das in (Fuzzy Sets Syst., 80: 359-368, 1996). Hermann and Thurston proved that the group of diffeomorphisms with compact support of a smooth manifold M which are isotopic to the identity is a perfect group. We consider the case where M has a geometric structure. In this paper we shall survey on the recent results of the first homology of the diffeomorphism
groups which preserve a smooth G-action or a foliated structure on M. We also work in Lipschitz category.

In this paper, the hybrid steepest descent methods are extended to develop new iterative schemes for finding the zeros of
bounded, demicontinuous and φ-strongly accretive mappings in uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Two iterative schemes are proposed. Strong convergence results
are established and applications to variational inequalities are given.

We use the concept of generalized MV-algebra (GMV-algebra, in short) in the sense of Galatos and Tsinakis; the main tool in their investigation was a truncation construction.
The relations between radical classes of GMV-algebras and radical classes of lattice ordered groups are investigated in the present paper. Further, we apply the truncation
construction for dealing with weak retract mappings of GMV-algebras.

We present a distribution-free model of incomplete-information games, both with and without private information, in which
the players use a robust optimization approach to contend with payoff uncertainty. Our ``robust game' model relaxes the assumptions
of Harsanyi's Bayesian game model, and provides an alternative distribution-free equilibrium concept, which we call ``robust-optimization
equilibrium,' to that of the ex post equilibrium. We prove that the robust-optimization equilibria of an incomplete-information game subsume the ex post equilibria of the game and are, unlike the latter, guaranteed to exist when the game is finite and has bounded payoff uncertainty
set. For arbitrary robust finite games with bounded polyhedral payoff uncertainty sets, we show that we can compute a robust-optimization
equilibrium by methods analogous to those for identifying a Nash equilibrium of a finite game with complete information. In
addition, we present computational results.

The notion of internal subdirect decomposition can be defined in each variety of algebras. In the present note we prove the
validity of a cancellation rule concerning such decompositions for lattice ordered groups and for GMV-algebras. For the case of groups, this cancellation rule fails to be valid.
