ON THE ITERATED ORDER OF MEROMORPHIC SOLUTIONS OF HIGHER ORDER LINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

In this paper, we investigate complex homogeneous and non-homogeneous higher order linear differential equations with meromorphic coefficients. We obtain several results concerning the iterated order of meromorphic solutions, and the iterated convergence exponent of the zeros of meromorphic solutions.     

PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR HIGHER ORDER DELAY FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION OF NEUTRAL TYPE WITH LINEAR RESTORING TERMS

Using the theory of coincidence degree, the authors studied the existence of periodic solutions for higher order delay functional differential equations of neutral type with restoring terms and some new results for the existence of periodic solutions have been obtained.

ATTRACTIVE BEHAVIOR OF SOLUTIONS OF A NONLINEAR HIGHER ORDER DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS

In this paper, we study the global attractivity of solutions of higher order nonlinear difference equation xn+1=f(xn+1-1,xn+1-2,…,xn,xn-1,)n=0,1,2,…, where f is a continuous, positive, decreasing function on [0,+∞)1+1\{(0,…,0)}. We extend some known global behavior of the solutions of nonlinear higher order difference equations.     

OSCILLATIONS OF HIGHER ORDER ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION WITH IMPULSES

Sufficient conditions to guarantee the oscillations of higher order ODE with impulses are obtained. The importance of the impulsive effect on the oscillations of higher order differential equation is stressed.

A SINGULARLY PERTURBED EIGENVALUE ROBIN PROBLEM WITH TURNING POINT OF HIGHER ORDER

A singularly perturbed eigenvalue Robin problem with turning point of higher order is studied, which can describe some heat conduction phenomena. Using the method of Langer transformation, the uniformly asymptotic solution of the equation is obtained, which is expressed by Bessel function, and the eigenvalue and eigenfunction of the problem are given, and then the known result is generalized.

ON COEFFICIENT POLYNOMIALS OF CUBIC HERMITE-PAD(?) APPROXIMATIONS TO THE EXPONENTIAL FUNCTION

The polynomials related with cubic Hermite-Padéapproximation to the exponentialfunction are investigated which have degrees at most n,m,s respectively.A connectionis given between the coefficients of each of the polynomials and certain hypergeometricfunctions,which leads to a simple expression for a polynomial in a special case.Contourintegral representations of the polynomials are given.By using of the saddle point methodthe exact asymptotics of the polynomials are derived as n,m,s tend to infinity throughcertain ray sequence.Some further uniform asymptotic aspects of the polynomials are alsodiscussed.
