 设计了对有限宽带状注进行聚焦的周期永磁(PPM)磁场,利用E-GUN,SUPERFISH,MAFIA和PIC模拟软件,建立了计算具有平面对称结构的2维及3维电子光学系统模拟平台,并应用此平台对X波段、100 MW带状注速调管的电子光学系统进行了设计与模拟。结果显示,利用设计的PPM聚焦系统,当磁场周期为60 mm,入口处磁场为0.1 T时,在600 mm的传输距离下,电子注的通过率达到了99.6%。  相似文献

In this work, a kinetic model is developed to study the effects of the radio frequency antenna wavenumber, helicon plasma electron density, as well as their drift velocity and temperature on the instability increment rate of the helicon wave in both longitudinal and transverse directions. The ion acoustic (IA) wave frequencies and wavenumbers of the helicon waves are obtained when the maximum wave energy is deposited on the plasma ions. Moreover, it is shown that, at the IA wavenumber and frequencies, while the longitudinal instability increment rates for both the helicon and IA waves are ignorable, the transverse instability increment rate for both the helicon and IA wave increases. Besides, the longitudinal instability increment rate for the helicon or IA wave has non‐zero resonant frequencies. On the other hand, the transverse instability increment rate of helicon or IA wave can be neglected. Furthermore, it is observed that, while both the imaginary part of longitudinal permittivity and longitudinal instability increment rate are not influenced by the electron temperature, their transverse component increases linearly with the electron temperature. In addition, the imaginary part of transverse permittivity increases almost linearly with the drift velocity of the plasma electrons.  相似文献

大宽高比的非轴对称带状电子注在微波和毫米波真空电子器件中具有显著的技术优势与应用潜力. 采用轴向均匀磁场可以聚焦和传输带状电子注,且具有易于实现电子注与磁场的匹配和调节、聚焦强流电子注以及无传输截止电压限制等优点,但面临严重的Diocotron不稳定性. 结合单粒子模型理论和冷流模型理论,对带状电子注传输特性进行的研究及其数值计算表明,通过详细设计带状注电子光学系统物理参数,增强聚焦磁场并在传输通道高度方向上选择较大的电子注填充比,可以有效降低Diocotron不稳定性对带状电子注的影响,并实现其长距离稳 关键词: 带状电子注 传输 均匀磁场聚焦 Diocotron不稳定性  相似文献

 带状注速调管可以在高频段实现高功率微波输出,电子光学系统是带状注速调管的关键部件。阐述了Wiggler双平面聚焦理论,设计了新型椭圆形柱面阴极和椭圆形聚焦极结构,阴极曲率半径为17 mm,长轴10 mm,短轴4 mm;聚焦极长轴28.8 mm,短轴10.4 mm。采用这种结构可以直接产生椭圆形带状电子注,且阴极发射电流密度较为均匀。设计了周期长度为8 mm,总长度为108 mm,中间带有凹槽并可以实现双平面聚焦的Wiggler结构,模拟显示电子注填充因子在75%左右,通过率达到100%。设计了新型的菱形收集极结构,电子轨迹在收集极内发散均匀。  相似文献

This paper presents the Enhanced Raman scattering of a elliptical laser beam in a collisional plasma. We have considered the mechanism of non‐uniform heating of carriers along the wave‐front, which is important in collisional plasma. The nonlinearity arising through non‐uniform heating leads to redistribution of carriers, which modifies the background plasma density profile in a direction transverse to pump beam axis. This modification in density effects the incident laser beam, plasma wave and back‐scattered beam. Non‐linear differential equations for the beam width parameters of pump laser beam, plasma wave and back‐scattered beam are set up and solved numerically. The time-dependent correlations of a one-component plasma in a uniform magnetic field are studied with the help of kinetic theory. The time correlation functions of the particle density, the momentum density, and the kinetic energy density are evaluated for large time intervals. In the collision-dominated regime the results agree with those found from linearized magnetohydrodynamics.  相似文献

Filamentation of a nonrelativistic rotating electron beam in a magnetized plasma is investigated by solving the kinetic equation and finding its dielectric permitivity. The period and the establishment time of the filamentation structure and threshold for instability development are obtained. It will be shown that only when the external magnetic field strength becomes smaller than a characteristic value, filamentation appears.  相似文献

We investigate the beam focusing technology of shear-vertical(SV) waves for a contact-type linear phased array to overcome the shortcomings of conventional wedge transducer arrays. The numerical simulation reveals the transient excitation and propagation characteristics of SV waves. It is found that the element size plays an important role in determining the transient radiation directivity of SV waves. The transient beam focusing characteristics of SV waves for various array parameters are deeply studied. It is particularly interesting to see that smaller element width will provide the focused beam of SV waves with higher quality, while larger element width may result in erratic fluctuation of focusing energy around the focal point. There exists a specific range of inter-element spacing for optimum focusing performance. Moreover, good beam focusing performance of SV waves can be achieved only at high steering angles.  相似文献

The novel discovery of electron vortices carrying quantized orbital angular momentum motivated intensive research of their basic properties as well as applications, e.g. structural characterization of magnetic materials. In this paper, the fundamental interactions of electron vortices within infinitely long atomic-column-like electromagnetic fields are studied based on the relativistically corrected Pauli–Schrödinger equation and the perturbation theory. The relative strengths of three fundamental interactions, i.e. the electron–electric potential interaction, the electron–magnetic potential/field interaction and the spin–orbit coupling are discussed. The results suggest that the perturbation energies of the last two interactions are in an order of 103–104 smaller than that of the first one for electron vortices. In addition, it is also found that the strengths of these interactions are strongly dependant on the spatial distributions of the electromagnetic field as well as the electron vortices.  相似文献

The combined effect of relativistic and ponderomotive nonlinearities on the self‐focusing of an intense cosh‐Gaussian laser beam (CGLB) in magnetized plasma have been investigated. Higher‐order paraxial‐ray approximation has been used to set up the self‐focusing equations, where higher‐order terms in the expansion of the dielectric function and the eikonal are taken into account. The effects of various lasers and plasma parameters viz. laser intensity (a0), decentred parameter (b), and magnetic field (ωc) on the self‐focusing of CGLB have been explored. The results are compared with the Gaussian profile of laser beams and relativistic nonlinearity. Self‐focusing can be enhanced by optimizing and selecting the appropriate laser‐plasma parameters. It is observed that the focusing of CGLB is fast in a nonparaxial region in comparison with that of a Gaussian laser beam and in a paraxial region in magnetized plasma. In addition, strong self‐focusing of CGLB is observed at higher values of a0, b, and ωc. Numerical results show that CGLB can produce ultrahigh laser irradiance over distances much greater than the Rayleigh length, which can be used for various applications.  相似文献

The experimental study of excitation of wake-field waves in plasma by a sequence of electron bunches of a microtron beam has been carried out. Results of measurement of the spectrum of electrons after their passage through plasma confirm the effect of adding of waves from a sequence of about 100 bunches which leads to the increase in the amplitude from 1 V/cm up to 100 V/cm.  相似文献

The acceleration of electrons by using a Bessel-Gaussian (BG) beam in vacuum is studied. It is shown that the axial electric field of a linearly or circularly polarized BG beam of order n = 1 can be used to accelerate electrons. The general features of the acceleration of electrons by using a linearly or circularly polarized BG beam, such as the transversal and axial electric-field components, phase velocity, slippage distance, accelerating potential, and energy gain etc., are analyzed.  相似文献

Using the standard reductive perturbation technique,a nonlinear Schroedinger equation is derived to study the modulational instability of finite-amplitude ion-acoustic waves in a non-magnetized warm plasma.It is found that the inclusion of ion temperature in the equation modifies the nature of the ion-acoustic wave stability and the soliton stuctures.The effects of ion plasma temperature on the modulational stability and ion-acoustic wave properties are inestigated in detail.  相似文献

The characteristics of the head-on collision between two-quantum ion-acoustic solitary waves (QIASWs) in a dense electron-positron-ion plasma are investigated. Using the extended Poincaré-Lighthill-Kuo (PLK) method, the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equations and the analytical phase shifts, after two QIASWs collision occurs, are derived. This study is a first attempt to illustrate the effects of both of the quantum diffraction corrections and the Fermi temperature ratio of positrons to electrons on the phase shifts. It is found that the electron-positron-ion plasma parameters modify significantly the phase shifts of the two colliding solitary waves.  相似文献

This paper reports experiments on self-excited dust acoustic waves (DAWs) and its propagation characteristics in a magnetized rf discharge plasma. The DAWs are spontaneously excited in dusty plasma after adding more particles in the confining potential well and found to propagate in the direction of streaming ions. The spontaneous excitation of such low-frequency modes is possible due to the instabilities associated with streaming ions through the dust grain medium. The background E-field and neutral pressure determine the stability of excited DAWs. The characteristics of DAWs strongly depend on the strength of external magnetic field. The magnetic field of strength B < 0.05 T only modifies the characteristics of propagating waves in dusty plasma at moderate power and pressure, P = 3.5 W and p = 27 Pa, respectively. It is found that DAWs start to be damped with increasing the magnetic field beyond B > 0.05 T and get completely damped at higher magnetic field B ∼ 0.13 T. After lowering the power and pressure to 3 W and 23 Pa respectively, the excited DAWs in the absence of B are slightly unstable. In this case, the magnetic field only stabilizes and modifies the propagation characteristics of DAWs while the strength of B is increased up to 0.1 T or even higher. The modification of the sheath electric field where particles are confined in the presence of the external magnetic field is the main cause of the modification and damping of the DAWs in a magnetized rf discharge plasma.  相似文献

将电子注视为等离子体柱,从填充等离子体柱的谐振腔的物理模型出发,推导了圆柱腔填充中心电子注时TM0m0模式的特征方程,并重点分析了填充电子注的圆柱腔中TM010模式和TM020模式的谐振频率和电磁场分布随等离子频率的变化情况。研究结果表明,随着电子注的等离子体频率不断增大,谐振频率也不断增大,谐振腔内电场和磁场的分布也随之发生改变。当电子注的等离子体频率超过谐振腔的谐振频率时,谐振腔内的电磁场分布将发生很大的变化,出现了电子注内外电场方向相反和趋肤效应等现象。  相似文献

A microscopic derivation is presented of the rate equations governing vibrational relaxation occurring in the optic-acoustic effect. Detailed expressions applicable to the spectrophone experiment are given both for an excitation source consisting of a broadband radiation field and for laserdriven systems. It is clear from the present treatment that no real advantage accrues from the use of laser excitation sources in the standard spectrophone experiment, due to the resultant strong dependence of the driving force itself on the mechanical chopper frequency. For broadband radiation field the dependence on the chopper frequency is removed and the standard result containing the Einstein coefficient of induced absorption is recovered. The spectrophone response for the simplest case of a two-level system is given explicitly and its similarity to phenomenologically derived expressions is pointed out.The work of F.R.M. was supported in part by a grant from the National Research Council of Canada.
