Using the CASSCF method followed by the internally contracted MRCI approach in combination with the correlation-consistent basis sets, the potential energy curves (PECs) are calculated for the X3Π, A3Σ-, B3Σ+, C3Π, E3Δ, a1Σ+, b1Π, c1Δ, d1Σ+, e1Π, 23Σ? and 33Σ? electronic states of AlN molecule for internuclear separations from 0.1 to 1.0 nm. All the electronic states correlate to the three dissociation channels, Al(2Pu) + N(4Su), Al(2Pu) + N(2Du) and Al(2Pu) + N(2Pu). Of these 12 electronic states, only the 23Σ? possesses the double well. The PECs determined by the internally contracted MRCI approach are corrected for size-extensivity errors by means of the Davidson correction. The convergent behavior of present calculations is observed with respect to the basis set and level of theory. The effect of core-valence correlation and scalar relativistic corrections on the spectroscopic parameters is discussed. Scalar relativistic correction calculations are performed by the third-order Douglas-Kroll Hamiltonian approximation at the level of cc-pVTZ basis set. Core-valence correlation corrections are included with a cc-pCVTZ basis set. All the PECs are extrapolated to the complete basis set limit. The spectroscopic parameters are evaluated by fitting the first ten vibrational levels when available, which are obtained by solving the ro-vibrational Schrödinger equation with the Numerov’s method. The spectroscopic parameters are compared with those reported in the literature. Excellent agreement is found between the present results and the measurements. Analyses show that the spectroscopic parameters reported in this paper can be expected to be reliably predicted ones. The Franck-Condon factors and radiative lifetimes of the transitions from the A3Σ?, B3Σ+, C3Π, a1Σ+ and b1Π electronic states to the ground state are calculated for several low vibrational levels, and some necessary discussion has been made.  相似文献

The potential energy curves (PECs) of four electronic states (X1Σ+g , e3△u , a 3 Σ-u , and d 3Πg ) of an As 2 molecule are investigated employing the complete active space self-consistent field (CASSCF) method followed by the valence internally contracted multireference configuration interaction (MRCI) approach in conjunction with the correlation-consistent aug-cc-pV5Z basis set. The effect on PECs by the relativistic correction is taken into account. The way to consider the relativistic correction is to employ the second-order Douglas-Kroll Hamiltonian approximation. The correction is made at the level of a cc-pV5Z basis set. The PECs of the electronic states involved are extrapolated to the complete basis set limit. With the PECs, the spectroscopic parameters (Te , Re , ωe , ωexe , ωeye , αe , βe , γe , and Be ) of these electronic states are determined and compared in detail with those reported in the literature. Excellent agreement is found between the present results and the experimental data. The first 40 vibrational states are studied for each electronic state when the rotational quantum number J equals zero. In addition, the vibrational levels, inertial rotation and centrifugal distortion constants of d 3Πg electronic state are reported which are in excellent agreement with the available measurements. Comparison with the experimental data shows that the present results are both reliable and accurate.  相似文献

The potential energy curves (PECs) of six low-lying electronic states (X1Σ+, a3Π, a3Σ+, d3Δ, e3Σ and A1Π) of CS molecule have been investigated using the full valence complete active space self-consistent field (CASSCF) method followed by the highly accurate valence internally contracted multireference configuration interaction (MRCI) approach with large correlation-consistent basis sets. Effects on the PECs by the core-valence correlation and relativistic corrections have been taken into account. And the two corrections are performed at the level of cc-pV5Z basis set. The way to consider the relativistic corrections is to use the second-order Douglas-Kroll Hamiltonian approximation. Using the CCSD(T), MRCI and MRCI with the Davidson modification (MRCI + Q), the PECs of electronic states involved are extrapolated to the complete basis set (CBS) limit. With the PECs, the spectroscopic parameters (Te, Re, ωe, ωexe, ωeye, αe, βe, γe and Be) of the six low-lying electronic states are determined. These parameters are in excellent agreement with the experimental data. The complete vibrational states are computed for the six low-lying electronic states when the rotational quantum number J equals zero, and the inertial rotation constants of the first 23 vibrational states are reported, which agree favorably with the RKR data. Comparison with the measurements shows that the two-point total-energy extrapolation scheme can obviously improve the quality of spectroscopic parameters and molecular constants.  相似文献

Pulsed-field-ionization zero-kinetic-energy (PFI-ZEKE) photoelectron spectra of ArKr have been recorded in the wavenumber range 108,000–118,000 cm?1 using a 1 + 1′ two-photon resonant excitation scheme from the ground X 0+ state of ArKr via selected intermediate states located just below the Ar(1S0) + Kr([5p[1/2]0) dissociation limit. The positions of ionic vibrational levels with quantum numbers from 1 to 30, from 0 to 8 and from 0 to 6 were determined for the X(1/2), A1(3/2) and A2(1/2) states, respectively. The assignment of absolute vibrational quantum numbers of the ionic states was derived from the isotopic shifts of the spectral lines. Combining these data with literature data on the B(1/2) → X(1/2), C1(3/2) → A1(3/2) and C2(1/2) → A2(1/2) band systems of ArKr+ enabled the derivation of potential energy functions for the lowest six electronic states of ArKr+ using a global potential model that includes the effects of the spin-orbit, charge-exchange and long-range interactions.  相似文献

And the relativistic correction is performed at the level of cc-pV5Z basis set. To obtain more reliable results, the PECs determined by the MRCI calculations are also corrected for size-extensivity errors by means of the Davidson modification (MRCI+Q). The PECs of all these electronic states are extrapolated to the complete basis set limit by the total-energy extrapolation scheme. Using the PECs, the spectroscopic parameters are determined and compared with those reported in the literature. With these PECs determined by the MRCI+Q/CV+DK+56 calculations, the vibrational levels and inertial rotation constants of the first 20 vibrational states are evaluated and compared with the RKR data for these electronic states when the rotational quantum number J equals zero. On the whole, as expected, the most accurate spectroscopic parameters and molecular constants of the Si2 molecule are determined by the MRCI+Q/CV+DK+56 calculations. And the spectroscopic parameters of the 13Σu+, 13Πg, 23Σu+, 23Πg, 33Πg, 33Σu+, 23Πu and 23Σg electronic states obtained by the MRCI+Q/CV+DK+56 calculations should be good prediction for future laboratory experiment.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Using ab initio quantum chemistry method, the feasibility of laser cooling ScO was investigated. The ground state Χ2Σ+ and low-lying excited states Α2Π, Α′2Δ are calculated at the multi-reference configuration interaction (MRCI) level of theory. The calculated spectroscopic constants are in good agreement with available theoretical and experimental results. At the MRCI level of theory with Davidson correction, the permanent dipole moments of the Χ2Σ+ and Α2Π states of ScO are also calculated. The highly diagonally distributed Franck–Condon factors and shorter radiative lifetime for the Α2Π→Χ2Σ+ transition are calculated with the corresponding potential energy curves and transition dipole moment. Although there is an intermediate state Α′2Δ, the loss will be dominated by branching to the intermediate electronic state Α′2Δ at a level of η < 1.4 × 10?4. These results demonstrate the probability of laser cooling of ScO, and we provide a promising laser-cooling scheme for ScO molecule.  相似文献

The X~3∑_g~-,A'~3△_u,A~3∑_u~+,1~3Π_g,and B~3∑_u~-electronic states of oxygen molecule(O_2) are calculated by the multiconfiguration self-consisted filed(MRCI)+Q method with the scalar relativistic correction and core-valence correlation correction.The obtained spectroscopic constants of the low-lying bound states are in excellent agreement with measurements.Based on the accurately calculated structure parameters,the opacities of the oxygen molecule at the temperatures of 1000 K,2000 K,2500 K,and 5000 K under a pressure of 100 atm(1 atm=1.01325×10~5 Pa) and the partition functions between 10 K and 104 K are obtained.It is found that with the increase of temperature,the opacities for transitions in a long wavelength range are enlarged because of the larger population on excited electronic states at the higher temperatures.  相似文献

采用CASSCF/CASPT2方法研究了NaCCH自由基的低能电子态,在C2v对称性下给出了NaCCH自由基9个低能激发态的几何、组态、CI系数、振子强度、垂直激发能和绝热激发能.研究结果表明,NaCCH自由基的基态X1Σ+几何和转动系数与实验值是一致的;谐振频率与其他理论方法得到的值也符合的很好;HOMO和LUMO轨道的能量间隔为3.80eV,对应着13Σ+的绝热激发能;除13Π外,其它低能激发态均是稳定状态;基态到三重态是自旋禁阻的.  相似文献

BeC是一个具有丰富低激发电子态的分子,本文基于动态权重完全活性空间自冾场方法获得的参考波函数,采用多参考组态相互作用方法对BeC分子进行高精度的从头计算,获得了BeC分子X~3Σ~-,A~3Π,b~1Δ,c~1Π和d~1Σ~+共5个电子态的势能曲线.为了获得精确的光谱结果,在计算中考虑了标量相对论效应修正,并把相互作用能外推至完全基组极限.在此基础上获得了这些态的光谱常数和偶极距,以及一些允许跃迁的跃迁偶极距、弗兰克-康登因子和辐射寿命.最后,通过扩展的Rydberg函数拟合获得了基态势能曲线精确的解析表达式.  相似文献

The splitting of potential energy curves for the states $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$, $^{2}\Pi _{1/2}$ and $A^{2}\Sigma ^{ +}$ of hydroxyl OH under spin--orbit coupling (SOC) has been calculated by using the SO multi-configuration quasi-degenerate perturbation theory (SO-MCQDPT). Their Murrell--Sorbie (M--S) potential functions have been derived, then, the spectroscopic constants for $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$,$^{ 2}\Pi _{1/2}$ and $A^{2}\Sigma ^{ + }$ have been derived from the M--S function. The calculated dissociation energies for the three states are $D_{0}$[OH($X^{2}\Pi _{3/2})$]=34966.632cm$^{-1}$, $D_{0}$[OH($^{2}\Pi _{1/2})$]=34922.802cm$^{-1}$, and $D_{0}$[OH($A^{2}\Sigma ^{ + })$]=17469.794cm$^{-1}$, respectively. The vertical excitation energy $\nu [ {{ }^2\Pi _{1/2} ( {\nu = 0} ) \to {X}{ }^2\Pi _{3/2} ( {\nu = 0} )} ] = 139.6{\rm cm}^{-{\rm 1}}$. All the spectroscopic data for the $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$ and $^{2}\Pi _{1/2 }$ are given for the first time except the dissociation energy of $X^{2}\Pi _{3/2}$.  相似文献

The potential energy curves (PECs) of four low-lying electronic states of the BO radical, including two 2Σ+ and two 2Π states, have been studied using the full valence complete active space self-consistent field (CASSCF) method followed by the highly accurate valence internally contracted multireference configuration interaction (MRCI) approach in combination with the cc-pV5Z basis set for internuclear separations from 0.05 to 2.0 nm. The effect on the PECs by the relativistic correction has been taken into account. With these PECs, the spectroscopic parameters (Te, D0, De, Re, ωe, ωexe, αe and Be) of two main isotopologues (11B16O and 10B16O) have been determined. These parameters have been compared in detail with those of previous investigations reported in the literature, and excellent agreement has been found between the available data and the present results. By solving the radial Schrödinger equation of nuclear motion, 60 vibrational states for the 11B16O(X2Σ+), 60 for the 10B16O(X2Σ+), 66 for the 11B16O(A2Π) and 64 for the 10B16O(A2Π) are predicted for the non-rotating molecule. For each vibrational state of the 11B16O(X2Σ+), 10B16O(X2Σ+), 11B16O(A2Π) and 10B16O(A2Π), the vibrational level G(υ), inertial rotation constant Bυ and centrifugal distortion constant Dυ have been determined. Comparison with the available data shows that the present molecular constants are reliable and accurate. The ro-vibrational levels have been calculated for the X2Σ+ and A2Π states of two main species for future laboratory research.  相似文献

High-level ab initio calculations of the Λ–S states for aluminum monoiodide(Al Cl) molecule are performed by utilizing the explicitly correlated multireference configuration interaction(MRCI-F12) method. The Davidson correction and scalar relativistic correction are investigated in the calculations. Based on the calculation by the MRCI-F12 method, the spin–orbit coupling(SOC) effect is investigated with the state-interacting technique. The adiabatic potential energy curves(PECs) of the 13 Λ–S states and 24 Ω states are calculated. The spectroscopic constants of bound states are determined,which are in accordance with the results of the available experimental and theoretical studies. Finally, the transition properties of 0~+(2)–X0~+, 1(1)–X0~+, and 1(2)–X0~+ transitions are predicted, including the transition dipole moments(TDMs),Franck–Condon factors(FCFs), and the spontaneous radiative lifetimes.  相似文献

We investigate whether AlCl and AlBr are promising candidates for laser cooling. We report new ab initio calculations on the ground state X~1Σ~+ and two low-lying states(A~1Π and a~3Π) of AlCl and AlBr. The calculated spectroscopic constants show good agreement with available theoretical and experimental results. We also obtain the permanent dipole moments(PDMs) curve at multi-reference configuration interaction(MRCI) level of theory. The transition properties of A~1Π and a~3Π states are predicted, including the transition dipole moments(TDMs), Franck–Condon factors(FCFs), radiative times and radiative width. The calculated radiative lifetimes are of the order of a nanosecond, implying that they are sufficiently short for rapid laser cooling. Both AlCl and AlBr have highly diagonally distributed FCFs which are crucial requirement for molecular laser cooling. The results demonstrate the feasibility of laser cooling AlCl and AlBr, and we propose laser cooling schemes for AlCl and AlBr.  相似文献

The high level quantum chemistry ab inito multi-reference configuration interaction (MRCI) method with large V5Z basis set is used to calculate the spectroscopic properties of the 15 A-S electronic states (X1∑+, A I П, 1 △, 1 ∑, 3∑+, 3П, 3△, 3△ , 5∑+, 5П, 5△, 1П (II), ofAsO+ radical correlated to the dissociation limit As+(3pg) + O(3pg) and As+(IDg) + O(1Dg). In order to obtain better potential curves and more accurate spectroscopic properties, the Davidson modification is taken into account. With the potential energy curves (PECs) determined here, vibrational levels G(v) and inertial rotation constants Bu are computed for all the bound electronic states when the rotational quantum number J equals zero (J = 0). Except for the states X1∑+, A1П , it is the first time that the multi-reference configuration calculation has been used on the 13 A-S electronic states of the AsO+ radical. The potential energy curves of all the A-S electronic states are depicted according to the avoided crossing rule of the same symmetry. Spin-orbit coupling effect (SOC) is introduced into the states X1 ∑+, A1 П, 3П to consider its effects on the spectroscopic properties. Transition dipole moments (TDMs) from A1П 1, 3 П1 states to the ground state X1∑0+ are predicted as well.  相似文献

Potential energy curves (PECs) for the ground state (X2∑+) and the four excited electronic states (A2∏, B2∏, C2∑+, 4∏) of a Bell molecule are calculated using the multi-configuration reference single and double excited configuration interaction (MRCI) approach in combination with the aug-cc-pVTZ basis sets. The calculation covers the internuclear distance ranging from 0.07 nm to 0.70 nm, and the equilibrium bond length Re and the vertical excited energy Te are determined directly. It is evident that the X2∑+, A2∏, B2∏, C2∑+ states are bound and 4∏ is a repulsive excited state. With the potentials, all of the vibrational levels and inertial rotation constants are predicted when the rotational quantum number J is set to be equal to zero (J = 0) by numerically solving the radial SchrSdinger equation of nuclear motion. Then the spectroscopic data are obtained including the rotation coupling constant w e, the anharmonic constant WeXe, the equilibrium rotation constant Be, and the vibration-rotation coupling constant ae. These values are compared with the theoretical and experimental results currently available, showing that they are in agreement with each other.  相似文献

The electronic structures and optical properties of oligothiophene substituted spirofluorenes are investigated theoretically with semi-empirical quantum chemical calculations. A theoretical investigation of the interaction between two perpendicular π-systems of various oligothiophene substituted spirofluorenes is conducted.
