A classification of all translationally invariant states over the algebra of anticommutation relations which satisfy criteria of finite mean density, finite mean kinetic energy, and finite mean entropy is given. It is demonstrated that these concepts can be discussed in terms of affine, semi-continuous, functionals which respect the barycentric decompositions of invariant states. Many other pertinent results, both local and global, are derived.  相似文献

We first propose the existence of bound states in the continuums (BICs) in quasiperiodic systems. Owing to long-range correlation, destructive interference may occur in quasiperiodic systems with higher generation order. A kinetic equation which combines the quasiparticle drift of Landau's equation with a dissipation governed by a nonlocal and noninstant scattering integral in the spirit of Snider's equation for gases is derived. Consequent balance equations for the density, momentum and energy include quasiparticle contributions and the second-order quantum virial corrections. The medium effects on binary collisions are shown to mediate the latent heat, i.e. an energy conversion between correlation and thermal energy. We propose a coherent framework allowing one to treat many-body effects in dense ultracold Fermi gases in the presence of a Feshbach resonance. We show that the simple effect of Pauli exclusion induces a strong modification of the basic scattering properties. In particular, this washes out the Feshbach resonance and provides a natural explanation for recent experimental findings.  相似文献

Superconducting pairing of holes with a large (on the order of doubled Fermi) total pair momentum and small relative motion momenta is considered taking into account the quasi-two-dimensional electronic structure of high-T c cuprates with clearly defined nesting of the Fermi contour situated in an extended neighborhood of the saddle point of the electronic dispersion law (the momentum space region with a hyperbolic metric) and the arising of a spatially inhomogeneous (stripe) structure as a result of the redistribution of current carriers (holes) that restores regions with antiferromagnetic ordering. The superconducting energy gap and condensation energy were determined, and their dependences on the doping level were qualitatively studied. The energy gap was shown to exist in some hole concentration region limited on both sides. The superconducting state with a positive condensation energy appears in a narrower range of doping within this region. The reason for the arising of the superconducting state at a repulsive screened Coulomb interaction between holes is largely the redistribution of hole pairs in the momentum space related to the special features of the hyperbolic metric, which is responsible for the formation of the “pair” Fermi contour, and the renormalization of the kinetic energy of holes when the chemical potential changes because of the condensation of pairs. Hole pairs of the type under consideration exist not only in the condensate but also in the form of quasi-stationary states with very weak decay at temperatures substantially exceeding the superconducting transition temperature. The pseudogap region of the phase diagram of high-T c cuprates is related to such states. The pairing mechanism under consideration allows not only the principal characteristics of the phase diagram but also key experimental data on high-T c cuprate materials to be qualitatively explained.  相似文献

We introduce a simple but powerful zero temperature Stoner model to explain the unusual phase dia-gram of the ferromagnetic superconductor, UGe2. Triplet superconductivity is driven in the ferromagnetic phase by tuning the majority spin Fermi level through one of two peaks in the paramagnetic density of states (DOS). Each peak is associated with a metamagnetic jump in magnetization. The twin-peak DOS may be derived from a tight-binding, quasi-one-dimensional band structure, inspired by previous band-structure calculations.  相似文献

We discuss the entanglement properties of bipartite states with Gaussian Wigner functions. For the separability, and the positivity of the partial transpose, we establish explicit necessary and sufficient criteria in terms of the covariance matrix of the state. It is shown that, for systems composed of a single oscillator for Alice and an arbitrary number for Bob, positivity of the partial transpose implies separability. However, this implication fails with two oscillators on each side, as we show by constructing a five parameter family of bound entangled Gaussian states.  相似文献

In the d‐electron system YFe2Ge2, an unusually high and temperature dependent Sommerfeld ratio of the specific heat capacity C /T ~ 100 mJ/(mol K2) and an anomalous power law temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity signal Fermi liquid breakdown, probably connected to a close‐by quantum critical point. Full resistive transitions and DC diamagnetic screening fractions of up to 80% suggest that pure samples of YFe2Ge2 superconduct below 1.8 K. (© 2014 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH &Co. The saturation problem in the three-triplet quark model, discussed previously by Nambu and by Lipkin, is investigated. We prove that in a simple version of the model, the only bound states of any color representation and any numbers of quarks and antiquarks are the qq (meson), qqq (baryon), and a heavier diquark state.  相似文献
