Polycrystalline ferrite materials with the chemical composition of Ni0.49Zn0.49Co0.02Fe1.90Ox have been fabricated using the conventional ceramic sintering method. Grain sizes have been adjusted from ∼2.2 to ∼13.5 μm with changing sintering conditions. From the measurements of the complex permeability, it is suggested that the permeability is dominated only by the spin rotation at mono-domain state and both domain wall and spin rotation contribute at multi-domain state. At mono-domain state, the core loss has been drastically decreased similar to the other work. The measurement result for the loss angle indicates that the low loss state can be maintained up to the higher magnetic field with smaller grain size in spite of the mono-domain state. The simplified wire-wounded type inductors have been also fabricated and characterized. The results have shown that the inductor fabricated with the smaller grain size has a better performance in the quality value under relatively higher current.  相似文献

Magnetic properties of a recently developed Fe-based amorphous alloy with a high saturation induction of 1.65 T are reviewed. The increased saturation induction is fully utilized in transformers with reduced magnetic losses, physical sizes and audible noises, minimizing some of the drawbacks of amorphous metal-based transformers based on a currently available amorphous alloy. Impacts of this on the worldwide energy savings and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions are discussed. A recent effort in achieving a saturation induction beyond 1.65 T in nanocrystalline alloys is mentioned.  相似文献

The giant magneto-impedance and skin effect in electroless deposited CuBe/CoNiP composite wires with different diameter of CuBe core are presented, and involves a theoretical approach of the current density distributions in layers. Results show that the strong eddy current in the magnetic CoNiP coating will be induced due to the electromagnetic interactions with the CuBe core. It makes the skin effect strong in the magnetic coating even at very low frequency, and at this, large MI changes can also be observed.  相似文献

A spectrum of coupled electromagnetic, spin and elastic waves in a two-sublattice antiferromagnet with weak ferromagnetism is theoretically investigated. The influence of the g-factor anisotropy and the transverse and longitudinal relaxation in magnetic subsystem on the spectrum of coupled waves is considered. The most changes of dispersion laws occurred in long-wavelength approximation and near the spin reorientation point, then the vectors of ferromagnetism and antiferromagnetism reoriented onto another crystallographic axis. It is shown that the magnetoelastic, the Dzyaloshinsky and the dipole interactions, the anisotropy of g-factor, the external magnetic field and the longitudinal susceptibility determine the activation of quasiferromagnetic waves. The dispersion laws of quasielectromagnetic and quasielastic waves can change from linear dependence to square. At large damping in magnetic subsystem, one from these modes can become the pure relaxation one.  相似文献

An iron film system, deposited on glass surfaces by thermal evaporation method and quenched with a floating oil layer immediately after the deposition, has been fabricated. The temperature dependence of the resistance and the transversal magnetoresistance (MR) of the iron films have been studied. The experiment shows that, as the temperature decreases, the sample resistance increases first and then drops monotonically, finally it increases again. Furthermore, a crossover of MR from positive to negative is observed as the magnetic field increases. It is proposed that these anomalous phenomena originate from the characteristic microstructure of the samples.  相似文献

Electrical steel laminations used in the construction of transformer cores are subject to stresses introduced during their construction and analysis of the effect of this on the magnetostriction of the lamination has been investigated previously. It has been shown that higher harmonics of magnetostriction are of greater importance than the fundamental when considering transformer noise. Whereas previous studies have concentrated on the magnetostriction harmonics generated by sinusoidal magnetization, this investigation seeks to understand the relationship between harmonics present in the magnetization waveform and those in the magnetostriction waveform. A measurement system has been designed based on a similar principle to one previously described. In this case, a single Labview Virtual Instrument (VI) is used for the control of the applied stress, controlled magnetization and measurement of magnetostriction together with other magnetic parameters such as specific total loss, specific apparent power, permeability, coercivity and remanence. An adaptive digital feedback algorithm is utilized for control of arbitrary waveform which may be constructed from discrete harmonics or read from an input waveform. As well as measuring peak magnetostriction the software utilizes an FFT to calculate the harmonics of magnetostriction at each stress point. The effect of harmonics introduced into the magnetization waveform on the magnetostriction harmonics will be shown at various applied stresses. A harmonic, HarmB in the flux density waveform is shown to have the effect of producing a dominant harmonic in the magnetostriction given by (HarmB+1)/2.  相似文献

The present study examines the artificial control of grain-boundary resistance and its contribution to the magneto-transport properties of [Co(1 nm)/Bi(2.5 nm)]n (n=10 or 20) line structures on the Si(0 0 1)/SiNx substrate. Conventional patterning and deposition processes are applied for the fabrication of a device that consists of five-line structures with a line width of 2 μm. A ΔR/R=80% ratio was observed in the five-line structure of [Co(1 nm)/Bi(2.5 nm)]10 multilayers at 10 K. Our measurements indicate that grain-boundary effects can be associated with the large ΔR/R ratio of transverse magnetoresistance.  相似文献

We present a method that formally calculates exact frequency shifts of an electromagnetic field for arbitrary changes in the refractive index. The possible refractive index changes include both anisotropic changes and boundary shifts. Degenerate eigenmode frequencies pose no problems in the presented method. The approach relies on operator algebra to derive an equation for the frequency shifts, which eventually turn out in a simple and physically sound form. Numerically the equations are well-behaved, easy implementable, and can be solved very fast. Like in perturbation theory a reference system is first considered, which then subsequently is used to solve another related, but different system. For our method precision is only limited by the reference system basis functions and the error induced in frequency is of second order for first-order basis set error. As an example we apply our method to the problem of variations in the air-hole diameter in a photonic crystal fiber.  相似文献

We carefully studied the nonsuperconducting sample of the magneto-superconducting RuSr2(Eu1−xCex)Cu2O10−δ series with composition RuSr2EuCeCu2O10−δ. This compound seems to exhibit a complex magnetic state as revealed by host of techniques like resistivity, thermopower, magnetic susceptibility, and MR measurements. The studied compound exhibited ferromagnetic like M(H) loops at 5, 20, and 50 K, and semiconductor like electrical conduction down to 5 K, with −MR7 T of up to 4% at low temperatures. The −MR7 T decreases fast above 150 K and monotonically becomes close to zero above say 230 K. Below, 150 K −MR7 T decreases to around 3% monotonically down to 75 K, with further increase to 4% at around 30 K and lastly having a slight decrease below this temperature. The thermopower S(T) behavior closely followed the −MR7 T steps in terms of d(S/T)/dT slopes. Further, both MR7 T steps and d(S/T)/dT slopes are found in close vicinity to various magnetic ordering temperatures (Tmag) of this compound.  相似文献

Geometric frustration in magnetic systems is a key ingredient for magnetodielectric coupling. Ca3Co2O6 system is a model of triangular Ising lattice and presenting exotic magnetic properties. With a partially disordered antiferromagnetic ground state and two steps in magnetisation to a ferrimagnetic state and to a ferromagnetic state, this oxide is a good system for studying the effect of frustration in magnetodielectric coupling. Dielectric constant measurements of single crystals of Ca3Co2O6 have been done showing the sensitivity of this technique to frustration.  相似文献

Magneto electric composites with composition (x) Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4+(1-x) Ba0.8Pb0.2Zr0.8Ti0.2O3 (BPZT—barium lead zirconate titanate) in which x varies as 0.0, 0.15, 0.30, 0.45 and 1.0 mol% were prepared by standard double sintering ceramic method. The presence of constituent phases such as ferrite and ferroelectric was confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The structural analyses were carried out by using X-ray diffraction pattern. Scanning electron micrographs (SEM) were taken to understand the microstructure of the samples. The calculated values of the porosity of the samples lie between 4.5% and 16.2%. The hysteresis measurements were made to determine saturation magnetization (Ms), magnetic moment (μB) and coercivity (Hc). From the AC susceptibility measurements the contribution of both the single domain (SD) particles of the ferrite phase and mixed domain (SD+MD) particles of the composites in ME output were explained. The static magneto electric voltage coefficients (dE/dH)H were measured as a function of intensity of magnetic field and the maximum ME coefficient were observed for the composites with 30% of ferrite+70% of ferroelectric phase.  相似文献

Well-oriented Cu2O films comprising of octahedral-shaped crystals were grown directly on copper foil via an hydrothermal treatment. The well-oriented films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Field emission from the film showed good emission properties, and, the electron emission turn-on field (Eto) and threshold field (Ethr) are about 9.6 and 13.4 V/μm respectively, which is similar to the values reported for CuO nanofiber, although the latter has a much larger size. The corresponding Fowler-Nordheim (F-N) plots showed a linear behavior. The sharp corners of the tips are considered as main electron emitters and account for its good performance.  相似文献

By means of a 3-phase excited rotational single sheet tester in combination with three sets of strain gauges, multi-directional magnetostriction (MS) was studied for highly grain oriented (HGO) SiFe. Emphasis was put on a new type of material with hyper-stress coating based on titanium nitride. Experiments were performed for elliptical, Lozenge-type and circular magnetization. In all states that are relevant for practice, the new type showed lowest levels of MS, especially for the rolling direction and the normal direction. By means of a domain model, which is based on the results of MS, the superior behavior is explained by a suppression of oblique domains.  相似文献

The influence of isothermal annealing (1 h at 600 °C in Ar atmosphere) on the soft magnetic properties and magnetoimpedance (MI) effect has been studied in ribbons of the following Nanoperm alloys: Fe91Zr7B2, Fe88Zr8B4, Fe87Zr6B6Cu1 and Fe80Zr10B10. A maximum MI ratio of about 27% was measured for the nanocrystalline alloy Fe87Zr6B6Cu1 at a driving frequency of 0.2 MHz. The thermal annealing led to magnetic softening for this alloy, while a hardening is observed for the Fe80Zr10B10 alloy.  相似文献

Six types of BiFeO3 ceramic samples, with subtle differences in synthesis conditions, were prepared. The comparison of their phases, electrical resistivity, and porosity revealed that the use of Bi2O3 and Fe2O3 powders of <1 μm size and a rapid liquid-phase sintering process of 855 °C for 5 min at 100 °C/s is beneficial to synthesize poreless single-phase BiFeO3 samples with high electrical resistivity of ∼5×1012 Ω cm. Deoxygenated BixFeyO1.5x+1.5yδ (xy, δ≥0) impurities were identified and found to be the main cause of low electrical resistivity and high porosity in the multi-phase samples. Large saturation polarization of 16.6 μC/cm2 and low leakage current density of 30 mA/m2, both at a high electric field of 145 kV/cm, were measured in the optimized single-phase samples at room temperature besides a large piezoelectric d33 coefficient of 27 pC/N and an obvious canted antiferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

We have studied anomalous peaks observed in magnetocaloric −ΔS(T) curves for systems that undergo first-order magnetostructural transitions. The origin of those peaks, which can exceed the conventional magnetic limit, R ln(2J+1), is discussed on thermodynamic bases by introducing an additional-exchange contribution (due to exchange constant variation arising from magnetostructural transition). We also applied a semiphenomenological model to include this additional-exchange contribution in Gd5Si2Ge2- and MnAs-based systems, obtaining excellent results for the observed magnetocaloric effect.  相似文献

Effects of the magnetoelectric coupling between the frustrated antiferromagnetic and ferroelectric ordering in hexagonal ferroelectromagnet are investigated by the soft-mode theory and molecular-field approximation. Applying the Heisenberg model for frustrated triangular antiferromagnets with exchange anisotropy and Diffour model for ferroelectric interaction, we discuss thermodynamic properties of the hexagonal ferroelectromagnetic system, including mean magnetization 〈si〉, polarization p, magnetization susceptibility χm, and polarization susceptibility χp, in a possible coupling form related to a combination of electric polarization and spin correlation. It is found that polarization induced by magnetic coupling leads to an anomaly in χp and a cusp in χm at low-temperature, which is consistent qualitatively with experimental results in hexagonal ferroelectromagnet YMnO3.  相似文献

The structure, Curie temperature and magnetostriction of Pr0.15Tb0.3Dy0.55Fe1.85−xBx   (x=0–0.3x=00.3) alloys have been investigated using X-ray diffraction, AC susceptibility and standard strain gauge techniques. It was found that all the samples possess entirely MgCu2-type cubic Laves structure. With increasing B concentration, the lattice parameter decreases, while the Curie temperature remains unchanged. The magnetostriction of Pr0.15Tb0.3Dy0.55Fe1.85−xBx alloys at room temperature increases with increasing B concentration firstly, and then decreases slightly.  相似文献

1-3 and 2-2 types Pb(Zr0.53Ti0.47)O3-CoFe2O4 (PZT-CFO) composite films with controllable microstructures, consisted by CFO nanopillar embedded in PZT matrix and PZT-CFO gratings respectively, have been fabricated on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates by combining lithography technology and pulsed laser deposition. X-ray diffraction confirms that the films are well crystallized under optimized postannealing conditions. Scanning electron microscope reveals that the periodic microstructures can be well controlled. Especially, intrinsic room temperature ferroelectric and ferrimagnetic behaviors are observed simultaneously. The structure-properties relationship is discussed. Our results may provide an alternative method to design and prepare multiferroic composite films with controllable microstructures.  相似文献

Recent advances made in the area of amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys exhibiting high saturation inductions are reviewed. A new chemical composition was identified that achieves a saturation induction of 1.64 T in an iron-based amorphous alloy. This alloy, when used in electrical transformers, shows a much improved performance over the existing amorphous alloy. Nanocrystalline FeCoCuNbSiB alloys are found to have saturation induction levels reaching 1.7 T. These materials are suited for use in sensors and inductors carrying large currents. Some of these nanocrystalline alloys show a BH squareness ratio exceeding 90%, which can be utilized in pulse power devices. Recent developments in the applications of these materials are also pointed out.  相似文献
