本文根据泊松方程用数值计算给出了电磁铁摇摆器的二维磁场分布,定量地讨论了磁极形状、磁隙大小、周期长短和电流大小等因素对峰值磁场强度的影响,重点讨论了如何根据二维磁场分布选择磁极形状才能提高峰值磁场强度和抑制磁饱和的问题。将计算的二维磁场分布和摇摆器磁场的理想波形相比较,可以帮助我们确定进入摇摆器的束流半径应该控制的范围。在对电磁铁摇摆器磁场二维数值计算的基础上,还探讨了适用ATA电子束的PALADIN摇摆器用于ETA电子束带来的结构设计和材料选择等问题。  相似文献

The dynamics of an electron beam in divergent magnetic fields has been studied. The changes in the longitudinal and transverse electron velocities in the beam and the effect of the magnetic field parameters on the dispersion of longitudinal electron velocities have been analyzed. A possibility of high-efficiency conversion modes in divergent magnetic fields has been established by methods of numerical simulation.  相似文献

Photoluminescence spectroscopy has been used to probe the occupied electron states below the Fermi energy of zero-dimensional electron systems (0DESs) in both zero and finite magnetic fields. The arrays of modulation-doped quantum dots investigated were fabricated by both reactive-ion etching and strain-confining GaAs heterojunctions with a -layer of Be present in the GaAs, in order to improve luminescence efficiency. For the etched quantum dots we show that the low magnetic field dispersion T) of the acceptor recombination line is directly related to the magnetic field dependence of the total ground-state energy of interacting electrons in the quantum dots. For the strain-confined 0DESs we have mapped the magneto-dispersion of the quantum confined electron states to reveal 15 electrons per dot.  相似文献

The electron absorption coefficient has been calculated for the Rayleigh waves in a metal, with the magnetic field parallel to the boundary. Reflection of electrons from the metal surface is assumed to diffuse. For high magnetic fields the shape and width of the absorption lines have been investigated as well as maximum values of the attenuation. For low fields oscillations of the geometric and cyclotron resonance type are predicted.  相似文献

本文通过非微扰求解薛定谔方程, 研究了强磁场磁化的等离子体环境中的原子能级结构和辐射动力学过程. 在较宽的磁场强度范围和等离子体屏蔽参数范围内, 给出了氢原子基态以及低激发态的能级、辐射跃迁能量和振子强度等重要的原子参数, 定量地描述了强磁场和等离子体屏蔽共同作用的综合效应. 相关的结果有助于增进对极端环境下原子光谱结构的认识, 在等离子体光谱诊断和天文光谱观测方面有一定的借鉴意义. 关键词: 强磁场 CWDVR谱方法 能级结构 振子强度  相似文献

The time-resolved electron beam envelope parameters, including cross sectional distribution and beam centroid position, are very important for the study of beam transmission characteristics in a magnetic field and for verifying the rationality of the magnetic field parameters employed. One kind of high time-resolved beam envelope measurement system has recently been developed, constituted of a high-speed framing camera and a streak camera.It can obtain three panoramic images of the beam and time continuous information along the given beam profile simultaneously. Recently obtained data has proved that several fast vibrations of the beam envelope along the diameter direction occur during the front and the tail parts of the electron beam. The vibration period is several nanoseconds. The effect of magnetic field on the electron beam is also observed and verified. Beam debugging experiments have proved that the existing beam transmission design is reasonable and viable. This beam envelope measurement system will establish a good foundation for beam physics research.  相似文献

The dispersion of magnetoplasma excitations in two-dimensional electron systems in a strong parallel magnetic field has been studied. A considerable increase in the electron cyclotron mass with an increase in the parallel component of magnetic field has been detected. It has been found that the cyclotron mass increment is a quadratic function of the magnetic field parallel to the interface. It has been shown that the mass anisotropy of 2D electrons induced by the parallel magnetic field reaches nearly 2.5 in B = 7 T. The energy of space quantization of the electron in the quantum well has been estimated from the magnetic field dependence of the anisotropy.  相似文献

An electron spin aligned with a static magnetic field changes its orientation when subjected to a time-varying magnetic field which is directed perpendicular to the static magnetic field. This well-known phenomenon is readily calculated when the time-varying magnetic field is circularly polarized; however, the evolution of the spin-state wavefunctions becomes much more difficult to calculate when the time-varying magnetic field is linearly polarized. For linear polarization and isolated spins, an analytic solution has been derived for the dynamical spin-state wavefunctions. Part of the solution procedure relies on an expansion using a small parameter, which is the ratio of the amplitude of the time-varying magnetic field to the static magnetic field. To verify the validity of the expansion technique, a numerical solution of the basic equations is compared to the analytic solution. Results are found to agree to better than 10% for exact resonance and better than 5% in general.  相似文献

The generation of electron spin coherence has been studied in n-modulation-doped (In,Ga)As/GaAs self-assembled quantum dots (QDs) which contain on average a single electron per dot. The doping has been confirmed by pump–probe Faraday rotation experiments in a magnetic field parallel to the heterostructure growth direction. For studying spin coherence, the magnetic field was rotated by 90° to the Voigt geometry, and the precession of the electron spin about the field was monitored. The coherence is generated by resonant excitation of the QDs with circularly polarized laser pulses, creating a coherent superposition of an electron, and a trion state. The efficiency of the generation can be controlled by the pulse intensity, being most efficient for (2n+1)π pulses.  相似文献

The longitudinal magnetoresistance has been investigated at temperatures in the range from 2.8 to 200 K in a magnetic field of up to 200 kOe with the aim of determining the temperature range and the magnetic field strength at which charge carrier scattering with spin flip occurs in n-type indium arsenide and n-type indium antimonide. It is established that quantum oscillations of the longitudinal magnetoresistance of indium arsenide exhibit weak zero maxima due to electron scattering with spin flip at temperatures in the range from 4 to 35 K in a magnetic field of 146 kOe. For the longitudinal magnetoresistance of indium antimonide, zero maxima caused by electron scattering with spin flip are revealed in the temperature range from 60 to 80 K in a magnetic field of 132 kOe.  相似文献

The validity of probe theories based on the classical electron transport to probes in low‐temperature magnetized plasma of the toroidal device “Blaamann” has been demonstrated. The analysis was carried out for the conditions when global transport of charged particles in the device is anomalous, namely for magnetic field up to 0.3 T and pressure range 0.1—1 Pa. It was shown also that for the magnetic field larger than 0.1 T probes longer than 15 mm provide electron saturation current practically independent of probe potential, hence more accurate measurements of the plasma parameters. The experiments have revealed that application of long probes oriented parallel to the magnetic field may cause an anomaly of the I‐V characteristics in the sense that a local increase of the electron current appears near the plasma potential.  相似文献

为了满足闪光二号加速器材料热力学效应研究的新需求,设计了一套电容器储能型脉冲强磁场装置。装置主要由储能电容器、半导体放电开关、磁场线圈及高压恒流充电源组成。磁场线圈中心处最大磁感应强度可达5 T,并且可以通过调整磁场线圈与二极管的相对位置实现磁透镜比的调节。通过理论计算和数值模拟相结合的方法对脉冲强磁场的关键参数进行了分析,然后进行了脉冲强磁场的工程设计,最后使用该强磁场装置进行了实验研究。强磁场实验中,当储能电容器充电21 kV时,在磁场线圈中心处获得了5.3 T脉冲强磁场。  相似文献

The magnetic response of itinerant electrons systems to an external magnetic field is investigated on the basis of a microscopic Hamiltonian from which the spin-polarized electronic structure is determined. The magnetic moment and grand thermodynamic potential of the d-electronic subsystem on a particular atomic site in the presence of the external field are calculated as a function of the moment's orientation for fixed electron configuration of its local environment. Self-consistent magnetic solutions strongly depend on the d-electron number, determined by the position of the d level relative to the Fermi energy. For parameters corresponding to α-Fe, two branches of self-consistent solutions with high and low magnetic moments are found. For parameters corresponding to bulk Cr, a Fe impurity in the Cr matrix and a Cr impurity in the Fe matrix, there are only low-spin solutions. The theory is also applied for describing magnetization reversal processes in exchange spring magnets. A slab of Fe was considered as a soft magnetic layer. The influence of the hard magnet is modeled by the inclusion of an external magnetic field applied to the interface Fe layers. The dependence of the hysteresis loop on the thickness of the Fe slab and on the value of the interface field is investigated.  相似文献

The kinetic problem of finding the rf conductivity and Hall constant of a thin metal film placed in a transverse steady magnetic field and a longitudinal variable electric field has been considered. It has been assumed that electrons diffusely reflect from the upper and lower surfaces of the film. No limitations have been imposed on the relationship between the thickness of the film and the electron free path. The dependences of the conductivity and Hall constant on dimensionless parameters, namely, electric field frequency, magnetic field induction, and thickness of the film, have been studied. The effect of ultrastrong magnetic fields generated in a relativistic-intensity subpicosecond laser plasma on the acceleration of fast electrons was studied. It is shown that resonance electrons can continuously accumulate energy from the circularly polarized laser field in the presence of a longitudinal magnetic field. For the linear polarization and a transverse magnetic field, energy accumulation has a pulse-periodic character, and the electron trajectories correspond to electron rotation in the Larmor orbit in a quasi-stationary magnetic field, while the energy strongly oscillates. In both cases, electron energy may attain values higher than 100 MeV for intensities of 1020 W/cm2.  相似文献

The negative glow plasma has been found nearly field free in axial direction. Therefore plasma electrons in the stationary glow can thermalize down to the temperature of the neutral gas, whenever their diffusion—and recombination—lifetime is high enough. Applying Boltzmann's equation to this problem, the conditions of thermalization of plasma electrons are derived as a function of the outer parameters of the plasma: vessel diameter 2R, neutral gas pressurep and longitudinal magnetic fieldB. — If plasma electrons have a too short diffusion—and recombination—lifetime to be in thermal equilibrium with the neutral gas, the electron energy increases. For this case the distribution function of plasma electrons is derived using Boltzmann's equation. Approximating the calculated energy distribution by a Maxwellian distribution function, the electron temperature in the glow is obtained as a function of the parameters:R, p, B. OurT e -measurements carried out in the H2- and He-glows of different tube diameters, neutral gas pressures and magnetic fields agree closely with the theoretical results. TheT e -measurements have been performed with Langmuir probes and by the method of reversal of the radial ambipolar electric field in a longitudinal magnetic field.  相似文献

Study of electron drift velocity caused by Etimes B motion is done with the help of a Mach probe in a dc cylindrical magnetron sputtering system at different plasma discharge parameters like discharge voltage, gas pressure and applied magnetic field strength. The interplay of the electron drift with the different discharge parameters has been investigated. Strong radial variation of the electron drift velocity is observed and is found to be maximum near the cathode and it decreases slowly with the increase of radial distance from the cathode. The sheath electric field, E measured experimentally from potential profile curve using an emissive probe is contributed to the observed radial variation of the electron drift velocity. The measured values of the drift velocities are also compared with the values from the conventional theory using the experimental values of electric and magnetic fields. This study of the drift velocity variation is helpful in providing a useful insight for determining the discharge conditions and parameters for sputter deposition of thin film.  相似文献

利用自编1D3V PIC程序,数值研究了不同外加磁场方式对次级电子倍增抑制的物理过程,给出了次级电子数目、平均能量、密度、运动轨迹、渡越时间、介质表面静电场及沉积功率等物理量时空分布关系。模拟结果表明:不同方向外加磁场抑制次级电子倍增的机理有所不同。轴向外加磁场利用电子回旋运动干扰微波电场对电子加速过程,使其碰壁能量降低以达到抑制二次电子倍增的效果;横向外加磁场利用电子回旋漂移过程中,电子半个周期被推离介质表面(不发生次级电子倍增),半个周期被推回介质表面(降低电子碰撞能量)的作用机理,达到抑制二次电子倍增的效果。讨论了横向磁场在回旋共振下,电子回旋同步加速导致回旋半径增大,电子能量持续增加的特殊过程。两种外加磁场方式都可以通过增加磁场达到进一步抑制次级电子倍增的目的。轴向外加磁场加载容易,但对磁场要求较高;横向外加磁场需要磁场较低,但加载较为困难。  相似文献
