EXISTENCE AND MULTIPLICITY OF SOLUTIONS FOR A CLASS OF p（x）-BIHARMONIC EQUATIONS

In this paper,we study a class of p(x)-biharmonic equations with Navier boundary condition.Using the mountain pass theorem,fountain theorem,local linking theorem and symmetric mountain pass theorem,we establish the existence of at least one solution and infinitely many solutions of this problem,respectively.     

Selections and topological convexity

A simple natural proof of van de Vel's selection theorem for topological convex structures is given. The technique developed to achieve this proof allows to give also a direct simple proof of the classical Michael's selection theorem in Fréchet spaces, and the Horvath's selection theorem in metric l.c.-spaces.

本文给出了关于L⁰- 线性函数的Hahn-Banach 扩张定理的几何形式并证明这个几何形式等价于它的代数形式. 进一步, 我们利用这个几何形式给出了随机局部凸模中熟知的基本分离定理的一个新的且简单的证明. 最后, 利用这个分离定理, 我们同时在两种拓扑 —(ε, λ)- 拓扑和局部L⁰- 凸拓扑下证明了随机赋范模中的Goldstine-Weston 稠密性定理, 并举出一个反例说明在局部L⁰- 凸拓扑下如果随机赋范模不具有可数连接性质, 则Goldstine-Weston 稠密性定理不一定成立.     

An n-dimensional version of Steinhaus' chessboard theorem

The main result of this paper is an n-dimensional version of the Steinhaus' chessboard theorem. Our theorem implies the Poincaré theorem as well as its parametric extension. But it is known that the Poincaré theorem is equivalent to the Brouwer Fixed-Point theorem.     

The KKM principle in abstract convex spaces: Equivalent formulations and applications

The partial KKM principle for an abstract convex space is an abstract form of the classical KKM theorem. A KKM space is an abstract convex space satisfying the partial KKM principle and its “open” version. In this paper, we clearly derive a sequence of a dozen statements which characterize the KKM spaces and equivalent formulations of the partial KKM principle. As their applications, we add more than a dozen statements including generalized formulations of von Neumann minimax theorem, von Neumann intersection lemma, the Nash equilibrium theorem, and the Fan type minimax inequalities for any KKM spaces. Consequently, this paper unifies and enlarges previously known several proper examples of such statements for particular types of KKM spaces.     

CERTAIN FAMILY OF INTEGRAL OPERATORS PRESERVING SUBORDINATION AND SUPERORDINATION

We obtain subordination, superordination and sandwich-preserving new theorems for certain integral operators defined on the space of normalized analytic functions in the open unit disk. The sandwich-type theorem for these integral operators is also derived, and the results generalize some recently ones.

A Mazur–Ulam theorem in non-Archimedean normed spaces

The classical Mazur–Ulam theorem which states that every surjective isometry between real normed spaces is affine is not valid for non-Archimedean normed spaces. In this paper, we establish a Mazur–Ulam theorem in the non-Archimedean strictly convex normed spaces.

The colorful Helly theorem and colorful resolutions of ideals

We demonstrate that the topological Helly theorem and the algebraic Auslander-Buchsbaum theorem may be viewed as different versions of the same phenomenon. Using this correspondence we show how the colorful Helly theorem of I. Barany and its generalizations by G. Kalai and R. Meshulam translate to the algebraic side. Our main results are algebraic generalizations of these translations, which in particular give a syzygetic version of Helly’s theorem.     

Flat covers in abelian and in non-abelian categories

A general existence theorem for flat covers in (e.g., quasi-abelian) locally finitely presented categories is obtained from an additive Ramsey type theorem. In the abelian case, it is shown that flat covers always exist. Applications to categories of separated presheaves or sheaves, localizations of Bousfield type, torsion-free classes of finite type, and categories of filtered objects or complexes, are given.     

A van Kampen theorem for equivariant fundamental groupoids

The equivariant fundamental groupoid of a G-space X is a category which generalizes the fundamental groupoid of a space to the equivariant setting. In this paper, we prove a van Kampen theorem for these categories: the equivariant fundamental groupoid of X can be obtained as a pushout of the categories associated to two open G-subsets covering X. This is proved by interpreting the equivariant fundamental groupoid as a Grothendieck semidirect product construction, and combining general properties of this construction with the ordinary (non-equivariant) van Kampen theorem. We then illustrate applications of this theorem by showing that the equivariant fundamental groupoid of a G-CW complex only depends on the 2-skeleton and also by using the theorem to compute an example.     

A rapidly-converging lower bound for the joint spectral radius via multiplicative ergodic theory

We use ergodic theory to prove a quantitative version of a theorem of M.A. Berger and Y. Wang, which relates the joint spectral radius of a set of matrices to the spectral radii of finite products of those matrices. The proof rests on a structure theorem for continuous matrix cocycles over minimal homeomorphisms having the property that all forward products are uniformly bounded.

Kähler non-collapsing,eigenvalues and the Calabi flow

We first prove a new compactness theorem of Kähler metrics, which confirms a prediction in [17]. Then we establish several eigenvalue estimates along the Calabi flow. Combining the compactness theorem and these eigenvalue estimates, we generalize the method developed for the Kähler–Ricci flow in [22] to obtain several new small energy theorems of the Calabi flow.     

Estimate of the Fourier–Bessel Multipliers for the Poly-axially Operator

We prove the analogue of H?rmander–Mikhlin multiplier theorem for the multidimensional Fourier–Bessel transform associated with the Poly-axially operator.

A fixed point theorem for weakly Zamfirescu mappings

In [5], Zamfirescu (1972) gave a fixed point theorem that generalizes the classical fixed point theorems by Banach, Kannan, and Chatterjea. In this paper, we follow the ideas of Dugundji and Granas to extend Zamfirescu’s fixed point theorem to the class of weakly Zamfirescu maps. A continuation method for this class of maps is also given.
