Ultrasonic-assisted brazing of Al4Cu1Mg and Ti6Al4V using Zn-based filler metal (without and with Si) has been investigated. Before brazing, the Ti6Al4V samples were pre-treated by hot-dip aluminizing and ultrasonic dipping in a molten filler metal bath in order to control the formation of intermetallic compounds between the Ti6Al4V samples and the filler metal. The results show that the TiAl(3) phase was formed in the interface between the Ti6Al4V substrate and the aluminized coating. For the Zn-based filler metal without Si, the Ti6Al4V interfacial area of the brazed joint did not change under the effect of the ultrasonic wave, and only consisted of the TiAl(3) phase. For the Zn-based filler metal with Si, the TiAl(3) phase disappeared and a Ti(7)Al(5)Si(12) phase was formed at the interfacial area of the brazed joints under the effect of the ultrasonic wave. Due to the TiAl(3) phase completely changing to a Ti(7)Al(5)Si(12) phase, the morphology of the intermetallic compounds changed from a block-like shape into a lamellar-like structure. The highest shear strength of 138MPa was obtained from the brazed joint free of the block-like TiAl(3) phase.  相似文献

This paper investigates a high power all fiber ultrashort pulse laser system. This system consists of a modelocking laser oscillator, a multi-stage amplifier, a pulse selector, and a paired grating pulse compressor.With pulse energy of 12 μJ at repetition rate of 30 kHz, the laser at center wavelength of 1.05 μm was obtained. Pulse width of 525 fs was achieved after the grating pair compressor.  相似文献

A pulsed master oscillator power amplifier system is constructed using a double-cladding polarized Ybdoped fiber and an all-fiber Q-switched narrow-linewidth pulsed laser used as seed laser.This system has a high repetition rate and provides a nanosecond pulsed laser with a narrow linewidth and linear polarization.Moreover,it generates amplified radiation with up to 14 W of average power,narrow linewidth(full-width at half-maximum is smaller than 0.12 nm),linear polarization at 1 080-nm wavelength,repetition rate of 51 kHz,and pulse duration of approximately 50 ns.Based on this pulsed amplified radiation,3.5 W of green laser,with an optical-to-optical efficiency of 27.3%,is obtained via single-pass frequency doubling using a noncritical phase matching KTP crystal.  相似文献

Switchable single and double Brillouin multiwavelength and pulsed laser is successfully demonstrated. Brillouin spacing can be switched from single(0.08 nm) to double spacing(0.16 nm) or vice versa by swapping the ports of the coupler in the proposed configuration. The proposed configuration can also be used to produce pulsed laser by inserting a home-made carbon nanotubes saturable absorber into the laser cavity. The proposed system is very versatile and flexible as it can be used as a multiwavelength laser or pulsed laser to cater for different types of applications.  相似文献

An expression of the structure-dependent energy of simple metal-noble metal binary alloy is given on the basis of the pseudopotential method. The energy is expressed as a sum of three parts; a band-structure energy, an electrostatic energy and a repulsive overlap energy, each of which is characterized by the usual long-range and short-range order parameters.The energy in a disordered state and the ordering energy are calculated for the AgMg, AuMg and AgAl systems, using the pseudopotential form factors and the overlap potentials of noble metals given by Moriarty. The numerical results reproduce qualitatively the observed phase diagrams; the existences of β- and ?-phases in the AgMg system, of β-phase in AuMg and of β- and ζ-phases in AgAl. The L20-type ordered phase (β′-phase) of AgMg alloy which remains ordered up to the melting point is well explained. Further, an estimation of the local ordering energy suggests that a clustering appears in the Al-rich region of AgAl alloy. However, the calculations fail to interpret the ordering behavior of β′-phase in the AuMg system and the short-range order of Ag-rich AgAl alloy. The role of individual terms of the structure-dependent energy on alloying is discussed.  相似文献

A pulsed laser system is realized with graphene employed as a Q-switch.The graphene is exfoliated from its solution using an optical deposition and the optical tweezer effect.A fiber ferrule that already has the graphene deposited on it is inserted into an erbium-ytterbium laser(EYL)system with linear cavity configuration.We successfully demonstrate a pulsed EYL with a pulse duration of approximately 5.9μs and a repetition rate of 20.0 kHz.  相似文献

This paper proposes a study both in theory and experiment on the phenomenon of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in a double-cladding fiber amplifier. The distortion characteristic of the 200-ns is observed through a stationary coupled-wave SBS model including the second-order Stokes wave for double-cladding fiber amplifier. The first-order Stokes wave is amplified during backward propagation to such an intense peak power that it can generate second-order Stokes wave. The stochastic aspect of pulse distortion induced by SBS is also experimentally demonstrated in the single frequency 200 ns pulse amplifier with 12-m Yb3+ doped double-cladding fiber. The backward SBS pulse is observed when the pulse peak power is up to 3.3 W, and the pulse width of SBS is narrower than that of the input signal. In the meantime, to overcome the difficulty of the pulse spectrum measurement, a novel method is put forward to measure the SBS frequency shift using the F–P interferometer with free spectral rang of 30 G, showing a good agreement with the theoretical estimation. SBS is the main factor that limits the output pulse peak power in the amplification of the single-frequency pulse.  相似文献

利用时间分辨的光谱测量技术,测定了XeCl紫外激光在不同条件下烧蚀金属Al诱导产生光谱线及其强度随时间的分布.结果表明:等离子体辐射光谱线由原子光谱线、一价离子光谱线及连续辐射背景光组成.Al原子光谱线的辐射强度与持续时间为最大,一价离子光谱线次之,以连续辐射背景光为最小.对激光烧蚀金属诱导发光的机理进行了探讨.等离子体中连续辐射背景光来自高能电子的韧致辐射和电子与离子的复合,原子光谱线和一价离子光谱线主要来自等离子体中电子与离子的复合.用此机理定性地解释了所观察到的实验现象. 关键词: 激光烧蚀 时间分辨光谱 辐射机理 金属Al  相似文献

The supercontinuum generation has been obtained in short conventional dispersion-shifted fiber using the femtosecond pulses from a passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser. In the experiment, the supercontinuum spectrum of >300 nm has been observed by injecting 70-fs pulses into a several-meter dispersion-shifted fiber. The simulation of the evolution in the fiber shows that spectral broadening arises from soliton dynamics when pumping using femtosecond pulses in the anomalous group velocity dispersion regime of the fiber.  相似文献

We report an experimental observation of dark pulse generation in a dispersion-managed erbium-doped fiber laser with net anomalous cavity group-velocity dispersion. It is found that apart from the bright soliton pulses, dark pulses with spectral sidebands could be obtained in the laser under appropriate operating conditions. The generation of dark pulses may be attributed to soliton shaping in the cavity.  相似文献

Laser-diode pumped Q-switched ytterbium-doped switching time of acousto-optic modulator (AOM) fiber laser is studied experimentally by controlling the The characteristics of Q-switched pulses with different rise time of AOM regulated by the laser beam size along the window of AOM are presented. Meanwhile, the behaviors of Q-switched pulses are achieved by regulating the switching time of AOM. The singlerepetition-rate and half-repetition-rate phenomena are described and discussed. The experimental results confirm that the fiber laser with lower level inversion population can be more easily operated for half- repetition-rate generation.  相似文献

Dissimilar materials welded joints provide many advantages in power, automotive, chemical, and spacecraft industries. The weld bead integrity which is determined by process parameters plays a significant role in the welding quality during the fiber laser welding (FLW) of dissimilar materials. In this paper, an optimization method by taking the integrity of the weld bead and weld area into consideration is proposed for FLW of dissimilar materials, the low carbon steel and stainless steel. The relationships between the weld bead integrity and process parameters are developed by the genetic algorithm optimized back propagation neural network (GA-BPNN). The particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is taken for optimizing the predicted outputs from GA-BPNN for the objective. Through the optimization process, the desired weld bead with good integrity and minimum weld area are obtained and the corresponding microstructure and microhardness are excellent. The mechanical properties of the optimized joints are greatly improved compared with that of the un-optimized welded joints. Moreover, the effects of significant factors are analyzed based on the statistical approach and the laser power (LP) is identified as the most significant factor on the weld bead integrity and weld area. The results indicate that the proposed method is effective for improving the reliability and stability of welded joints in the practical production.  相似文献

Neutral and cationic Zn n O m clusters of various stoichiometry have been produced by nanosecond laser ablation of ZnO in vacuum and investigated by time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Particular attention was paid to the effect of laser wavelength (in the range from near-IR to UV) on cluster composition. Under 193-nm laser ablation, the charged clusters are essentially substoichiometric with ZnnOn-1+\mathrm{Zn}_{n}\mathrm{O}_{n-1}^{+} and ZnnOn-3+\mathrm{Zn}_{n}\mathrm{O}_{n-3}^{+} being the most abundant series. Both sub- and stoichiometric cationic clusters are generated in abundance at 532- and 1064-nm ablation whose composition depends on the cluster size. The reactivity of small stoichiometric ZnnOn+\mathrm{Zn}_{n}\mathrm{O}_{n}^{+} clusters (n<11) toward hydrogen is found to be high, while oxygen-deficient species are less reactive. The neutral plume particles are mainly stoichiometric with Zn4O4 tetramer being a magic cluster. It is suggested that the Zn4O4 loss is the dominant fragmentation channel of large zinc oxide clusters upon electron impact. Plume expansion conditions under ZnO ablation with visible and IR laser pulses are shown to be favorable for stoichiometric cluster formation.  相似文献

We have demonstrated a Q-switched fiber laser based on a mechanical all-fiber Q-switching module and pulsed-pump configuration. A piezoelectric actuator was utilized in the module to change the round-trip loss of the fiber laser cavity, and exploited the pulsed pump to prevent the multiple pulsing phenomena. Q-switching pulses were successfully achieved at the repetition rates from 1 Hz to 2 kHz, and the average output power was 11 mW. The peak power in excess of 114 W with associated pulse width of 193 ns was obtained at the repetition rate of 500 Hz. Besides preventing multiple pulsing phenomena, pulsed-pump configuration can also suppress amplified spontaneous emission and increase pulse stability and peak power simultaneously.  相似文献

采用单端连续抽运方式, 对自由运转的双包层掺镱光纤激光器的输出特性进行了详细的实验研究. 实验中不但观察到了自脉冲, 而且首次在自由运转的光纤激光器中观察到自锁模现象, 对它们产生的物理机理进行了相应的理论分析. 分析表明: 增益光纤的弱(未) 抽运部分对信号光的吸收导致光纤激光器内自脉冲的出现, 轴向模之间的拍频和自相位调制导致自锁模现象的出现, 而受激拉曼散射、 受激布里渊散射等非线性效应使它们进一步增强. 当抽运光功率略高于阈值时, 自脉冲宽度比较宽, 随抽运光功率增加自脉冲的脉宽变窄; 自脉冲包络面内的自锁模脉冲的宽度随抽运光功率增加也变窄, 进一步增加抽运光功率, 自脉冲和自脉冲包络面内的自锁模现象消失. 实验测得自锁模脉冲的间隔为224 ns, 最大(小) 自锁模脉冲的半高全宽约为35.0 ns (6.3 ns); 测得信号光的中心波长为1090 nm, 谱线半高全宽的最大(小) 值约为7.05 nm (2.01 nm).  相似文献

We report a supercontinuum source generated in seven-core photonic crystal fibers(PCFs) pumped by a self-made all-fiber picosecond pulsed broadband fiber amplifier. The amplifier's output average power is 60 W at 1150 nm with spectral width of 260 nm, and its repetition rate is 8.47 MHz with pulse width of 221 ps. With two different lengths of seven-core PCF, different output powers and spectra are obtained. When a 10 m long seven-core PCF is chosen, the output supercontinuum covers the wavelength range from 620 nm to 1700 nm, with the output power of 11.7 W. With only 2 m long seven-core PCF used in the same experiment, the wavelength of the supercontinuum spans from 680 nm to 1700 nm,with the output power of 20.4 W. The results show that the pulse width is 385 ps in the 10 m long seven-core PCF and 255 ps in the 2 m long one, respectively, due to the normal dispersion of the PCF.  相似文献

Quantitative element mapping of Mg alloys by laser ablation ICP-MS and EPMA   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) has been successfully applied to quantitatively map the lateral elemental distribution of trace elements in multi-phase magnesium-based alloys. A lateral resolution of 32 μm was achieved with limits of detection in the lower mg kg−1 range for Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu in such materials. Quantification of elements by LA-ICP-MS was carried out using a sum normalization calibration procedure. Multi-element mappings of an area of 350 μm × 350 μm were performed by LA-ICP-MS and results for the main elements Mg, Al, and Zn were compared to electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) measurements of the same sample area. The agreement for Mg was 2.2% between the two techniques. The influences of the laser parameters, like repetition rate and laser spot size were studied and the conditions were optimized for single spot analysis to achieve high lateral resolution capabilities.  相似文献

采用脉冲重复频率可调的高功率皮秒脉冲光纤激 光抽运光子晶体光纤产生了平均输出功率为101 W的全 光纤化超连续谱. 通过一系列的对比实验, 详细研究了抽运激光的脉冲重复频率以及光子晶体光纤的长度对超连续谱产生的影响. 最后, 对如何实现更高平均功率的超连续谱输出进行相关的分析和讨论. 相关研究结果可以为进一步发展基于光子晶体光纤的高功率超连续谱光源提供一定的参考. 关键词: 光子晶体光纤 非线性光纤光学 超连续谱产生  相似文献
