High-precision quantum chemical calculations have been performed for atmospherically important halomethane derivatives including CF, CF(3), CHF(2), CH(2)F, CF(2), CF(4), CHF, CHF(3), CH(3)F, CH(2)F(2), CCl, CCl(3), CHCl(2), CH(2)Cl, CCl(2), CCl(4), CHCl, CHCl(3), CH(3)Cl, CH(2)Cl(2), CHFCl, CF(2)Cl, CFCl(2), CFCl, CFCl(3), CF(2)Cl(2), CF(3)Cl, CHFCl(2), CHF(2)Cl, and CH(2)FCl. Theoretical estimates for the standard enthalpy of formation at 0 and 298.15 K as well as for the entropy at 298.15 K are presented. The determined values are mostly within the experimental uncertainty where accurate experimental results are available, while for the majority of the considered heat of formation and entropy values the present results represent the best available estimates.  相似文献

FTIR-smog chamber techniques were used to study the products and mechanisms of the Cl atom and OH radical initiated oxidation of trans-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-chloro-propene, t-CF(3)CH=CHCl, in 700 Torr of air or N(2)/O(2) diluent at 296 ± 2 K. The reactions of Cl atoms and OH radicals with t-CF(3)CH=CHCl occur via addition to the >C=C< double bond; chlorine atoms add 15 ± 5% at the terminal carbon and 85 ± 5% at the central carbon, OH radicals add approximately 40% at the terminal carbon and 60% at the central carbon. The major products in the Cl atom initiated oxidation of t-CF(3)CH=CHCl were CF(3)CHClCHO and CF(3)C(O)CHCl(2), minor products were CF(3)CHO, HCOCl and CF(3)COCl. The yields of CF(3)C(O)CHCl(2), CF(3)CHClCOCl and CF(3)COCl increased at the expense of CF(3)CHO, HCOCl and CF(3)CHClCHO as the O(2) partial pressure was increased over the range 10-700 Torr. Chemical activation plays a significant role in the fate of CF(3)CH(O)CHCl(2) and CF(3)CClHCHClO radicals. In addition to reaction with O(2) to yield CF(3)COCl and HO(2) the major competing fate of CF(3)CHClO is Cl elimination to give CF(3)CHO (not C-C bond scission as previously thought). As part of this study k(Cl + CF(3)C(O)CHCl(2)) = (2.3 ± 0.3) × 10(-14) and k(Cl + CF(3)CHClCHO) = (7.5 ± 2.0) × 10(-12) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) were determined using relative rate techniques. Reaction with OH radicals is the major atmospheric sink for t-CF(3)CH=CHCl. Chlorine atom elimination giving the enol CF(3)CH=CHOH appears to be the sole atmospheric fate of the CF(3)CHCHClOH radicals. The yield of CF(3)COOH in the atmospheric oxidation of t-CF(3)CH=CHCl will be negligible (<2%). The results are discussed with respect to the atmospheric chemistry and environmental impact of t-CF(3)CH=CHCl.  相似文献

Cl(2P(3/2)) and Cl*(2P(1/2)) atoms produced from the photodissociation of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and chlorinated hydrocarbons at 193.3 nm have been detected quantitatively by a technique of vacuum ultraviolet laser-induced fluorescence (VUV-LIF) spectroscopy at 135.2 and 134.7 nm for j = 1/2 and 3/2, respectively. The quantum yields for total Cl-atom formation in the 193.3 nm photolysis at 295 +/- 2 K have been determined to be 1.03 +/- 0.09, 1.01 +/- 0.08, 1.03 +/- 0.08, 1.03 +/- 0.10, 1.41 +/- 0.14, 1.02 +/- 0.08, and 0.98 +/- 0.08 for CF2Cl2, CFCl3, CH2Cl2, CHCl3, CCl4, CHFCl2, and CCl3CF3, respectively. Those results suggest that the single C-Cl bond rupture always occurs in the photolysis of these molecules except for CCl4. Formation of two Cl atoms partly takes place in the photodissociation of CCl4. The quantum yields for total Cl-atom formation in the 193.3 nm photolysis of CHBr2Cl and CHBrClCF3 are 0.27 +/- 0.02 and 0.28 +/- 0.02, respectively, which suggests that the C-Br bond rupture is a main channel in the photodissociation processes. The branching ratios between the spin-orbit states, Cl*(2P(1/2)) and Cl(2P(3/2)), have also been determined for the photodissociation of the chlorinated compounds at 193.3 nm. The UV photodissociation processes giving rise to formation of Cl(2P(j)) atoms from the chlorinated compounds studied here have been discussed.  相似文献

A dual-level direct dynamics study has been carried out for the two hydrogen abstraction reactions CF(3)CHCl(2)+Cl and CF(3)CHFCl+Cl. The geometries and frequencies of the stationary points are optimized at the BHLYP/6-311G(d,p), B3LYP/6-311G(d,p), and MP2/6-31G(d) levels, respectively, with single-point calculations for energy at the BHLYP/6-311++G(3df,2p), G3(MP2), and QCISD(T)/6-311G(d,p) levels. The enthalpies of formation for the species CF(3)CHCl(2), CF(3)CHFCl, CF(3)CCl(2), and CF(3)CFCl are evaluated at higher levels. With the information of the potential energy surface at BHLYP/6-311++G(3df,2p)//6-311G(d,p) level, we employ canonical variational transition-state theory with small-curvature tunneling correction to calculate the rate constants. The agreement between theoretical and experimental rate constants is good in the measured temperature range 276-382 K. The effect of fluorine substitution on reactivity of the C-H bond is discussed.  相似文献

Rate coefficients, k, for the gas-phase reactions of Cl atoms and NO(3) radicals with 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, CF(3)CF═CH(2) (HFO-1234yf), and 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene, (Z)-CF(3)CF═CHF (HFO-1225ye), are reported. Cl-atom rate coefficients were measured in the fall-off region as a function of temperature (220-380 K) and pressure (50-630 Torr; N(2), O(2), and synthetic air) using a relative rate method. The measured rate coefficients are well represented by the fall-off parameters k(0)(T) = 6.5 × 10(-28) (T/300)(-6.9) cm(6) molecule(-2) s(-1) and k(∞)(T) = 7.7 × 10(-11) (T/300)(-0.65) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) for CF(3)CF═CH(2) and k(0)(T) = 3 × 10(-27) (T/300)(-6.5) cm(6) molecule(-2) s(-1) and k(∞)(T) = 4.15 × 10(-11) (T/300)(-0.5) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) for (Z)-CF(3)C═CHF with F(c) = 0.6. Reaction product yields were measured in the presence of O(2) to be (98 ± 7)% for CF(3)C(O)F and (61 ± 4)% for HC(O)Cl in the CF(3)CF═CH(2) reaction and (108 ± 8)% for CF(3)C(O)F and (112 ± 8)% for HC(O)F in the (Z)-CF(3)CF═CHF reaction, where the quoted uncertainties are 2σ (95% confidence level) and include estimated systematic errors. NO(3) reaction rate coefficients were determined using absolute and relative rate methods. Absolute measurements yielded upper limits for both reactions between 233 and 353 K, while the relative rate measurements yielded k(3)(295 K) = (2.6 ± 0.25) × 10(-17) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) and k(4)(295 K) = (4.2 ± 0.5) × 10(-18) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) for CF(3)CF═CH(2) and (Z)-CF(3)CF═CHF, respectively. The Cl-atom reaction with CF(3)CF═CH(2) and (Z)-CF(3)CF═CHF leads to decreases in their atmospheric lifetimes and global warming potentials and formation of a chlorine-containing product, HC(O)Cl, for CF(3)CF═CH(2). The NO(3) reaction has been shown to have a negligible impact on the atmospheric lifetimes of CF(3)CF═CH(2) and (Z)-CF(3)CF═CHF. The energetics for the reaction of Cl, NO(3), and OH with CF(3)CF═CH(2) and (Z)-CF(3)CF═CHF in the presence of O(2) were investigated using density functional theory (DFT).  相似文献

The photochemistry of Cl(2)O (dichlorine monoxide) was studied using measurements of its UV/vis absorption spectrum temperature dependence and the O((3)P) atom quantum yield, Φ(Cl(2)O)(O)(λ), in its photolysis at 193 and 248 nm. The Cl(2)O UV/vis absorption spectrum was measured over the temperature range 201-296 K between 200 and 500 nm using diode array spectroscopy. Cl(2)O absorption cross sections, σ(Cl(2)O)(λ,T), at temperatures <296 K were determined relative to its well established room temperature values. A wavelength and temperature dependent parameterization of the Cl(2)O spectrum using the sum of six Gaussian functions, which empirically represent transitions from the ground (1)A(1) electronic state to excited states, is presented. The Gaussian functions are found to correlate well with published theoretically calculated vertical excitation energies. O((3)P) quantum yields in the photolysis of Cl(2)O at 193 and 248 nm were measured using pulsed laser photolysis combined with atomic resonance fluorescence detection of O((3)P) atoms. O((3)P) quantum yields were measured to be 0.85 ± 0.15 for 193 nm photolysis at 296 K and 0.20 ± 0.03 at 248 nm, which was also found to be independent of temperature (220-352 K) and pressure (17 and 28 Torr, N(2)). The quoted uncertainties are at the 2σ (95% confidence) level and include estimated systematic errors. ClO radical temporal profiles obtained following the photolysis of Cl(2)O at 248 nm, as reported previously in Feierabend et al. [J. Phys. Chem. A 114, 12052, (2010)], were interpreted to establish a <5% upper-limit for the O + Cl(2) photodissociation channel, which indicates that O((3)P) is primarily formed in the three-body, O + 2Cl, photodissociation channel at 248 nm. The analysis also indirectly provided a Cl atom quantum yield of 1.2 ± 0.1 at 248 nm. The results from this work are compared with previous studies where possible.  相似文献

Potential energy surfaces for the reactions of HO(2) with CH(2)ClO(2), CHCl(2)O(2), and CCl(3)O(2) have been calculated using coupled cluster theory and density functional theory (B3LYP). It is revealed that all the reactions take place on both singlet and triplet surfaces. Potential wells exist in the entrance channels for both surfaces. The reaction mechanism on the triplet surface is simple, including hydrogen abstraction and S(N)2-type displacement. The reaction mechanism on the singlet surface is more complicated. Interestingly, the corresponding transition states prefer to be 4-, 5-, or 7-member-ring structures. For the HO(2) + CH(2)ClO(2) reaction, there are two major product channels, viz., the formation of CH(2)ClOOH + O(2) via hydrogen abstraction on the triplet surface and the formation of CHClO + OH + HO(2) via a 5-member-ring transition state. Meanwhile, two O(3)-forming channels, namely, CH(2)O + HCl + O(3) and CH(2)ClOH + O(3) might be competitive at elevated temperatures. The HO(2) + CHCl(2)O(2) reaction has a mechanism similar to that of the HO(2) + CH(2)ClO(2) reaction. For the HO(2) + CCl(3)O(2) reaction, the formation of CCl(3)O(2)H + O(2) is the dominant channel. The Cl-substitution effect on the geometries, barriers, and heats of reaction is discussed. In addition, the unimolecular decomposition of the excited ROOH (e.g., CH(2)ClOOH, CHCl(2)OOH, and CCl(3)OOH) molecules has been investigated. The implication of the present mechanisms in atmospheric chemistry is discussed in comparison with the experimental measurements.  相似文献

Dichlorvos [2,2-dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate, (CH(3)O)(2)P(O)OCH═CCl(2)] is a relatively volatile in-use insecticide. Rate constants for its reaction with OH radicals have been measured over the temperature range 296-348 K and atmospheric pressure of air using a relative rate method. The rate expression obtained was 3.53 × 10(-13) e((1367±239)/T) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), with a 298 K rate constant of (3.5 ± 0.7) × 10(-11) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), where the error in the 298 K rate constant is the estimated overall uncertainty. In addition, rate constants for the reactions of NO(3) radicals and O(3) with dichlorvos, of (2.5 ± 0.5) × 10(-13) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) and (1.7 ± 1.0) × 10(-19) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), respectively, were measured at 296 ± 2 K. Products of the OH and NO(3) radical-initiated reactions were investigated using in situ atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry (API-MS) and (OH radical reaction only) in situ Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. For the OH radical reaction, the major initial products were CO, phosgene [C(O)Cl(2)] and dimethyl phosphate [(CH(3)O)(2)P(O)OH], with equal (to within ±10%) formation yields of CO and C(O)Cl(2). The API-MS analyses were consistent with formation of (CH(3)O)(2)P(O)OH from both the OH and NO(3) radical-initiated reactions. In the atmosphere, the dominant chemical loss processes for dichlorvos will be daytime reaction with OH radicals and nighttime reaction with NO(3) radicals, with an estimated lifetime of a few hours.  相似文献

Smog chamber/Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectroscopic techniques were used to study the atmospheric degradation of CH3CHF2. The kinetics and products of the Cl(2P(3/2)) (denoted Cl) atom- and the OH radical-initiated oxidation of CH3CHF2 in 700 Torr of air or N2; diluents at 295 +/- 2 K were studied using smog chamber/FTIR techniques. Relative rate methods were used to measure k(Cl + CH3CHF2) = (2.37 +/- 0.31) x 10(-13) and k(OH + CH3CHF2) = (3.08 +/- 0.62) x 10(-14) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1). Reaction with Cl atoms gives CH3CF2 radicals in a yield of 99.2 +/- 0.1% and CH2CHF2 radicals in a yield of 0.8 +/- 0.1%. Reaction with OH radicals gives CH3CF2 radicals in a yield >75% and CH2CHF2 radicals in a yield <25%. Absolute rate data for the Cl reaction were measured using quantum-state selective LIF detection of Cl(2P(j)) atoms under pseudo-first-order conditions. The rate constant k(Cl + CH3CHF2) was determined to be (2.54 +/- 0.25) x 10(-13) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) by the LIF technique, in good agreement with the relative rate results. The removal rate of spin-orbit excited-state Cl(2P(1/2)) (denoted Cl) in collisions with CH3CHF2 was determined to be k(Cl + CH3CHF2) = (2.21 +/- 0.22) x 10(-10) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1). The atmospheric photooxidation products were examined in the presence and absence of NO(x). In the absence of NO(x)(), the Cl atom-initiated oxidation of CH3CHF2 in air leads to formation of COF2 in a molar yield of 97 +/- 5%. In the presence of NO(x), the observed oxidation products include COF2 and CH3COF. As [NO] increases, the yield of COF2 decreases while the yield of CH3COF increases, reflecting a competition for CH3CF2O radicals. The simplest explanation for the observed dependence of the CH3COF yield on [NO(x)] is that the atmospheric degradation of CH3CF2H proceeds via OH radical attack to give CH3CF2 radicals which add O2 to give CH3CF2O2 radicals. Reaction of CH3CF2O2 radicals with NO gives a substantial fraction of chemically activated alkoxy radicals, [CH3CF2O]. In 1 atm of air, approximately 30% of the alkoxy radicals produced in the CH3CF2O2 + NO reaction possess sufficient internal excitation to undergo "prompt" (rate >10(10) s(-1)) decomposition to give CH3 radicals and COF2. The remaining approximately 70% become thermalized, CH3CF2O, and undergo decomposition more slowly at a rate of approximately 2 x 10(3) s(-1). At high concentrations (>50 mTorr), NO(x) is an efficient scavenger for CH3CF2O radicals leading to the formation of CH3COF and FNO.  相似文献

Gas-phase reactions of three typical carbanions CH(2)NO(2)(-), CH(2)CN(-), and CH(2)S(O)CH(3)(-) with the chloromethanes CH(2)Cl(2), CHCl(3), and CCl(4), examined by tandem mass spectrometry, show a novel hydrogen/chlorine exchange reaction. For example, reaction between the nitromethyl anion CH(2)NO(2)(-) and carbon tetrachloride CCl(4) forms the ion CHClNO(2)(-). The suggested reaction mechanism involves nucleophilic attack by CH(2)NO(2)(-) at the chlorine of CCl(4) followed by proton transfer within the resulting complex [CH(2)ClNO(2) + CCl(3)(-)] to form CHClNO(2)(-) and CHCl(3). Two other carbanions CH(2)CN(-) and CH(2)S(O)CH(3)(-) also undergo the novel hydrogen/chlorine exchange reactions with CCl(4) but to a much smaller extent, their higher nucleophilicities favoring competitive nucleophilic attack reactions. Proton abstraction is the exclusive pathway in the reactions of these carbanions with CHCl(3). While CH(2)CN(-) and CH(2)S(O)CH(3)(-) promote mainly proton abstraction and nucleophilic displacement in reactions with CH(2)Cl(2), CH(2)NO(2)(-) does not react.  相似文献

The recombination of CF(2)Cl and CH(2)F radicals was used to prepare CF(2)ClCH(2)F* molecules with 93 ± 2 kcal mol(-1) of vibrational energy in a room temperature bath gas. The observed unimolecular reactions in order of relative importance were: (1) 1,2-ClH elimination to give CF(2)═CHF, (2) isomerization to CF(3)CH(2)Cl by the interchange of F and Cl atoms and (3) 1,2-FH elimination to give E- and Z-CFCl═CHF. Since the isomerization reaction is 12 kcal mol(-1) exothermic, the CF(3)CH(2)Cl* molecules have 105 kcal mol(-1) of internal energy and they can eliminate HF to give CF(2)═CHCl, decompose by rupture of the C-Cl bond, or isomerize back to CF(2)ClCH(2)F. These data, which provide experimental rate constants, are combined with previously published results for chemically activated CF(3)CH(2)Cl* formed by the recombination of CF(3) and CH(2)Cl radicals to provide a comprehensive view of the CF(3)CH(2)Cl* ? CF(2)ClCH(2)F* unimolecular reaction system. The experimental rate constants are matched to calculated statistical rate constants to assign threshold energies for the observed reactions. The models for the molecules and transition states needed for the rate constant calculations were obtained from electronic structures calculated from density functional theory. The previously proposed explanation for the formation of CF(2)═CHF in thermal and infrared multiphoton excitation studies of CF(3)CH(2)Cl, which was 2,2-HCl elimination from CF(3)CH(2)Cl followed by migration of the F atom in CF(3)CH, should be replaced by the Cl/F interchange reaction followed by a conventional 1,2-ClH elimination from CF(2)ClCH(2)F. The unimolecular reactions are augmented by free-radical chemistry initiated by reactions of Cl and F atoms in the thermal decomposition of CF(3)CH(2)Cl and CF(2)ClCH(2)F.  相似文献

Smog chamber/FTIR techniques were used to study the atmospheric chemistry of the Z and E isomers of CF3CF=CHF, which we refer to as CF3CF=CHF(Z) and CF3CF=CHF(E). The rate constants k(Cl + CF3CF=CHF(Z)) = (4.36 +/- 0.48) x 10-11, k(OH + CF3CF=CHF(Z)) = (1.22 +/- 0.14) x 10-12, and k(O3 + CF3CF=CHF(Z)) = (1.45 +/- 0.15) x 10-21 cm3 molecule-1 s-1 were determined for the Z isomer of CF3CF=CHF in 700 Torr air diluent at 296 +/- 2 K. The rate constants k(Cl + CF3CF=CHF(E)) = (5.00 +/- 0.56) x 10-11, k(OH + CF3CF=CHF(E)) = (2.15 +/- 0.23) x 10-12, and k(O3 + CF3CF=CHF(E)) = (1.98 +/- 0.15) x 10-20 cm3 molecule-1 s-1 were determined for the E isomer of CF3CF=CHF in 700 Torr air diluent at 296 +/- 2 K. Both the Cl-atom and OH-radical-initiated atmospheric oxidation of CF3CF=CHF give CF3C(O)F and HC(O)F in molar yields indistinguishable from 100% for both the Z and E isomer. CF3CF=CHF(Z) has an atmospheric lifetime of approximately 18 days and a global warming potential (100 year time horizon) of approximately 6. CF3CF=CHF(E) has an atmospheric lifetime of approximately 10 days and a global warming potential (100 year time horizon) of approximately 3. CF3CF=CHF has a negligible global warming potential and will not make any significant contribution to radiative forcing of climate change.  相似文献

FTIR-smog chamber techniques were used to study the products of the Cl atom and OH radical initiated oxidation of CF3CH=CH2 in 700 Torr of N2/O2, diluent at 296 K. The Cl atom initiated oxidation of CF3CH=CH2 in 700 Torr of air in the absence of NOx gives CF3C(O)CH2Cl and CF3CHO in yields of 70+/-5% and 6.2+/-0.5%, respectively. Reaction with Cl atoms proceeds via addition to the >C=C< double bond (74+/-4% to the terminal and 26+/-4% to the central carbon atom) and leads to the formation of CF3CH(O)CH2Cl and CF3CHClCH2O radicals. Reaction with O2 and decomposition via C-C bond scission are competing loss mechanisms for CF3CH(O)CH2Cl radicals, kO2/kdiss=(3.8+/-1.8)x10(-18) cm3 molecule-1. The atmospheric fate of CF3CHClCH2O radicals is reaction with O2 to give CF3CHClCHO. The OH radical initiated oxidation of CxF2x+1CH=CH2 (x=1 and 4) in 700 Torr of air in the presence of NOx gives CxF2x+1CHO in a yield of 88+/-9%. Reaction with OH radicals proceeds via addition to the >C=C< double bond leading to the formation of CxF2x+1C(O)HCH2OH and CxF2x+1CHOHCH2O radicals. Decomposition via C-C bond scission is the sole fate of CxF2x+1CH(O)CH2OH and CxF2x+1CH(OH)CH2O radicals. As part of this work a rate constant of k(Cl+CF3C(O)CH2Cl)=(5.63+/-0.66)x10(-14) cm3 molecule-1 s-1 was determined. The results are discussed with respect to previous literature data and the possibility that the atmospheric oxidation of CxF2x+1CH=CH2 contributes to the observed burden of perfluorocarboxylic acids, CxF2x+1COOH, in remote locations.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reactions of chlorinated methyl radicals (CH2Cl, CHCl2, and CCl3) with NO2 have been studied in direct measurements at temperatures between 220 and 360 K using a tubular flow reactor coupled to a photoionization mass spectrometer. The radicals have been homogeneously generated at 193 or 248 nm by pulsed laser photolysis of appropriate precursors. Decays of radical concentrations have been monitored in time-resolved measurements to obtain the reaction rate coefficients under pseudo-first-order conditions with the amount of NO2 being in large excess over radical concentrations. The bimolecular rate coefficients of all three reactions are independent of the bath gas (He or N2) and pressure within the experimental range (1-6 Torr) and are found to depend on temperature as follows: k(CH2Cl + NO2) = (2.16 +/- 0.08) x 10(-11) (T/300 K)(-1.12+/-0.24) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (220-363 K), k(CHCl2 + NO2) = (8.90 +/- 0.16) x 10(-12) (T/300 K)(-1.48+/-0.13) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (220-363 K), and k(CCl3 + NO2) = (3.35 +/- 0.10) x 10(-12) (T/300 K)(-2.2+/-0.4) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (298-363 K), with the uncertainties given as one-standard deviations. Estimated overall uncertainties in the measured bimolecular reaction rate coefficients are about +/-25%. In the reactions CH2Cl + NO2, CHCl2 + NO2, and CCl3 + NO2, the products observed are formaldehyde, CHClO, and phosgene (CCl2O), respectively. In addition, a weak signal for the HCl formation has been detected for the CHCl2 + NO2 reaction.  相似文献

A series of Ni(II) carboxylate complexes, supported by a chelate ligand having either secondary hydrophobic phenyl groups (6-Ph2TPA, N,N-bis((6-phenyl-2-pyridyl)methyl)-N-((2-pyridyl)methyl)amine) or hydrogen bond donors (bnpapa, N,N-bis((6-neopentylamino-2-pyridyl)methyl)-N-((2-pyridyl)methyl)amine), have been prepared and characterized. X-ray crystallographic studies of [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(O2C(CH2)2SCH3)]ClO4.CH2Cl2 (4.CH2Cl2) and [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(O2CCH2SCH3)]ClO(4).1.5CH2Cl2 (5.1.5CH2Cl2) revealed that each complex contains a distorted octahedral Ni(II) center and a bidentate carboxylate ligand. A previously described benzoate complex ([(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(O2CPh)]ClO4 (3)) has similar structural characteristics. Recrystallization of dry powdered samples of 3, 4.0.5CH2Cl2, and 5 from wet organic solvents yielded a second series of crystalline Ni(II) carboxylate complexes having a coordinated monodentate carboxylate ligand ([(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2CPh)]ClO4 (6), [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2C(CH2)2SCH3)]ClO4.0.2CH2Cl2 (7.0.2CH2Cl2), [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2CCH2SCH3)]ClO4 (8)) which is stabilized by a hydrogen-bonding interaction with a Ni(II)-bound water molecule. In the cationic portions of 7.0.2CH2Cl2 and 8, weak CH/pi interactions are also present between the methylene units of the carboxylate ligands and the phenyl appendages of the 6-Ph2TPA ligands. A formate complex of the formulation [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2CH)]ClO4 (9) was isolated and characterized. The mononuclear Ni(II) carboxylate complexes [(bnpapa)Ni(O2CPh)]ClO4 (10), [(bnpapa)Ni(O2C(CH2)2SCH3)]ClO4 (11), [(bnpapa)Ni(O2CCH2SCH3)]ClO4 (12), and [(bnpapa)Ni(O2CH)]ClO4 (13) were isolated and characterized. Two crystalline solvate forms of 10 (10.CH3CN and 10.CH2Cl2) were examined by X-ray crystallography. In both, the distorted octahedral Ni(II) center is ligated by a bidentate benzoate ligand, one Ni(II)-bound oxygen atom of which accepts two hydrogen bonds from the supporting bnpapa chelate ligand. Spectroscopic studies of 10(-13) suggest that all contain a bidentate carboxylate ligand, even after exposure to water. The combined results of this work enable the formulation of a proposed pathway for carboxylate product release from the active site Ni(II) center in acireductone dioxygenase.  相似文献

The dynamics of ClOOCl photodissociation at 248.4 and 308.4 nm was studied with photofragment translational spectroscopy. At 248.4 nm photoexcitation, the observed products are Cl, O(2), ClO and O. Product translational energy distributions P(E) and anisotropy parameters β were deduced from the measured time-of-flight spectra of the Cl, O(2), and ClO photoproducts. The photodissociation mechanisms have been discussed and compared with available theoretical results. Synchronous and fast sequential breaking of the two Cl-O bonds may both contribute to the dissociation. The relative product yields for [ClO]:?[Cl] was measured to be 0.15 ± 0.04:1. The relative amounts of [O]:[O(2)] products were estimated to be 0.12:1. The branching ratios among the Cl + O(2) + Cl:ClO + ClO:ClO + Cl + O product channels were estimated to be 0.82:0.08:0.10. At 308.4 nm excitation, time-of-flight spectra of the O(2) and ClO photoproducts were recorded while there was interference from Cl(2) impurity in detecting the Cl product. Nonetheless, the observed ClO yield relative to the O(2) yield at 308.4 nm is 1.5 times that at 248.4 nm. The branching ratio between the Cl + O(2) + Cl:ClO + ClO product channels was estimated to be 0.81:0.19 at 308.4 nm. This result suggests that the ClO product may contribute a noticeable yield in the photolysis of ClOOCl at the atmospherically important wavelengths above 300 nm.  相似文献
