In this paper, we first consider exact solutions for Lienard equation with nonlinear terms of any order. Then, explicit exact bell and kink profile solitary-wave solutions for many nonlinear evolution equations are obtained by means of results of the Lienard equation and proper deductions, which transform original partial differential equations into the Lienard one. These nonlinear equations include compound KdV, compound KdV-Burgers, generalized Boussinesq, generalized KP and Ginzburg-Landau equation. Some new solitary-wave solutions are found.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss conditional stability of solitary-wave solutions in the sense of Liapunov for the generalized compound KdV equation and the generalized compound KdV-Burgers equations. Linear stability of the exact solitary-wave solutions is proved for the above two types of equations when the small disturbance of travelling wave form satisfies some special conditions.  相似文献

By means of generalized Riccati equation expansion method and symbolic computation, some exact analytical solutions, which contain soliton-like solutions and periodic-like solutions to the generalized Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schiff (GCBS) equation, are obtained. From our results, the solitary-wave solutions and previously known soliton-like solutions of the special cases of GCBS equation can be recovered.  相似文献

A lattice Boltzmann model of KdV-Burgers equation is derived by using the single-relaxation form of the lattice Boltzmann equation. With the present model, we simulate the traveling-wave solutions, the solitary-wave solutions, and the sock-wave solutions of KdV-Burgers equation, and calculate the decay factor and the wavelength of the sock-wave solution, which has exponential decay. The numerical results agree with the analytical solutions quite well.  相似文献

This paper studies the analytical and semi-analytic solutions of the generalized Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff(CBS) equation. This model describes the(2 + 1)–dimensional interaction between Riemann-wave propagation along the y-axis and the x-axis wave. The extended simplest equation(ESE) method is applied to the model, and a variety of novel solitarywave solutions is given. These solitary-wave solutions prove the dynamic behavior of soliton waves in plasma. The accuracy of the obtained solution is verified using a variational iteration(VI) semi-analytical scheme. The analysis and the match between the constructed analytical solution and the semi-analytical solution are sketched using various diagrams to show the accuracy of the solution we obtained. The adopted scheme's performance shows the effectiveness of the method and its ability to be applied to various nonlinear evolution equations.  相似文献

A lattice Boltzmann model of KdV-Burgers equation is derived by using the single-relaxation form of the lattice Boltzmann equation. A new technique, the extended homoclinic test technique, is proposed to seek periodic solitary wave solutions of integrable systems. Exact periodic solitary-wave solutions for classical KdV equation are obtained using this technique. This result shows that it is entirely possible for the (l + l)-dimensional integrable equation that there exists a periodic solitary-wave.  相似文献

By truncating the Painlevé expansion at the constant level term, the Hirota bilinear form is obtained for a (3+1)-dimensional variable-coefficient Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. Based on its bilinear form, solitary-wave solutions are constructed via the ε-expansion method and the corresponding graphical analysis is given. Furthermore, the exact solution in the Wronskianform is presented and proved by direct substitution into the bilinear equation.  相似文献

The extended homoclinic test function method is a kind of classic, efficient and well-developed method to solve nonlinear evolution equations. In this paper, with the help of this approach, we obtain new exact solutions (including kinky periodic solitary-wave solutions, periodic soliton solutions, and crosskink-wave solutions) for the new (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation. These results enrich the variety of the dynamics of higher-dimensional nonlinear wave field.  相似文献

A systematic method which is based on the classical Lie group reduction is used to find the novel exact solution of the cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation (CQNLS) with varying dispersion, nonlinearity, and gain or absorption. Algebraic solitary-wave as well as kink-type solutions in three kinds of optical fibers represented by coefficient varying CQNLS equations are studied in detail. Some new exact solutions of optical solitary wave with a simple analytic form in these models are presented. Appropriate solitary wave solutions are applied to discuss soliton propagation in optical fibres, and the amplification and compression of pulses in optical fibre amplifiers.  相似文献

In this Letter we present an Adomian's decomposition method (shortly ADM) for obtaining the numerical soliton-like solutions of the potential Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (shortly PKP) equation. We will prove the convergence of the ADM. We obtain the exact and numerical solitary-wave solutions of the PKP equation for certain initial conditions. Then ADM yields the analytic approximate solution with fast convergence rate and high accuracy through previous works. The numerical solutions are compared with the known analytical solutions.  相似文献

In this Letter, He's homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is implemented for finding the solitary-wave solutions of the regularized long-wave (RLW) and generalized modified Boussinesq (GMB) equations. We obtain numerical solutions of these equations for the initial conditions. We will show that the convergence of the HPM is faster than those obtained by the Adomian decomposition method (ADM). The obtained solutions, in comparison with the exact solutions admit a remarkable accuracy. A clear conclusion can be drawn from the numerical results that the HPM provides highly accurate numerical solutions for nonlinear differential equations.  相似文献

The mathematical structure of the transformations of coordinates involved in the optical 1 + 1 lossless cubic–quintic Schrödinger equation is investigated in relation to the amplitude and phase of the solitary-wave functions which are solutions to the equation in question. Making use of a new generalized ansatze and a proper transformation, we generalized the extended tanh-function method. Applying the generalized method with the aid of Maple, we consider some nonlinear evolution equations.As a result, we can successfully recover the previously known solitary wave solutions that had been found by the extendedtanh-function method and other more sophisticated methods. More importantly, for some equations, we also obtain othernew and more general solutions at the same time. The results include kink-profile solitary-wave solutions, bell-profilesolitary-wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, rational solutions, singular solutions and new formal solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain a new class of exact cross kink-wave and periodic solitary-wave solutions for Jimbo-Miwa equation by using two-soliton method, bilinear method and transforming parameters into complex ones. Moreover, we investigate singular and non-singular phenomenons of solutions. Some new exact solutions of an auxiliary ordinary differential equation are obtained, which were neglected by Sirendaoreji {\it et al in their auxiliary equation method. By using this method and these new solutions the combined Korteweg--de Vries (KdV) and modified KdV (mKdV) equation and (2+1)-dimensional Broer--Kaup--Kupershmidt system are investigated and abundant exact travelling wave solutions are obtained that include new solitary wave solutions and triangular periodic wave solutions.  相似文献
