The reaction of thallium ethoxide with [H(OEt2)2][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2] in diethyl ether afforded [Tl(OEt2)3][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2] (2a), [Tl(OEt2)4][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2] (2b), or [Tl(OEt2)2][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2].CH2Cl2 (2c), depending on the reaction conditions. The dication in the hydrolysis product [Tl4(mu3-OH)2][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2]2.4CH2Cl2 consists of two bridging and two terminal Tl+ ions bound to triply bridging hydroxides. Heating Et2O complexes in toluene afforded [Tl(eta6-toluene)n][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2] (4, n = 2, 3), while C6Me6 addition gave the first thallium-C6Me6 adduct, [Tl(eta6-C6Me6)2][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2].1.5CH2Cl2 (5a), a bent sandwich complex with very short Tl...centroid distances. These arene complexes show no close contacts between cations and anions. Displacement of toluene ligands by ferrocene gave [Tl2(FeCp2)3][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2]2.5CH2Cl2 (6) which contains the multidecker cations [Tl(FeCp2)]+ and [Tl(FeCp2)2]+ in a 1:1 ratio. By contrast, decamethylferrocene leads to electron transfer; the isolable thallium-ferrocene complexes may therefore be viewed as precursor complexes for this redox step. With 18-crown-6 the complexes [Tl(18-crown-6)2][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2] (11a) and [Tl(18-crown-6)][H2N{B(C6F5)3}2].2CH2Cl2 (11b) were isolated. The structure of the latter shows an eight-coordinate thallium ion, where the coordination to the six oxygen donors in equatorial positions is completed by axial contacts to two F atoms of the counter anions. The bonding between thallium(I) and arenes was explored by density-functional theory (DFT) calculations. The optimized geometry of [Tl(tol)3]+ converged to a structure very similar to that obtained experimentally. Calculations on [Tl(C6Me6)2]+ (5b) to establish whether a linear or bent geometry is the most stable revealed a very flat potential-energy surface for distortions of the Ctr(3)-Tl-Ctr(4) angle. Overall, there is very little energetic preference for one particular geometry over another above about 140 degrees , in good agreement with the crystallographic geometry. The calculated Tl-arene interaction energies increase from 73.7 kJ mol-1 for toluene to 121.7 kJ mol-1 for C6Me6.  相似文献

Ring borylation of [Me4C2(eta5-C5H4)2CrCO] by B(C6F5)3 affords the zwitterionic complex {Me4(eta5-C5H4)(eta5-C4H3B(C6F5)3)}CrH(CO) (1), the first structurally characterized bent-metallocene complex of Cr(4+). This species decomposes thermally to the zwitterionic species {Me4(eta5-C5H4)(eta5-C4H3B(C6F5)3)}Cr (2) and the ionic species [Me4C2(eta5-C5H4)2CrCO][HB(C6F5)3] (3). The molecular structure of 2 is also described.  相似文献

The reactions of [Zr(NMe2)4]2 with triamido-triazacyclonane ligand precursors, {NH(Ph)SiMe2}3tacn (H3N3[9]N3) and {NH(C6H4F)SiMe2}3tacn (H3N3-F[9]N3), led to the formation of complexes [Zr(NMe2)2{N(Ph)SiMe2}2{NH(Ph) SiMe2}tacn], 1, and [Zr(NMe2)2{N(o-C6H4F)SiMe2}2{NH(o-C6H4F)SiMe2} tacn], 2, where the zirconium is coordinated to two remaining dimethylamido ligands and to a dianionic tacn-based ligand, [{N(Ph')SiMe2}2{NH(Ph')SiMe2}tacn]2-, that formed from deprotonation of two amine pendent arms of the ligands' precursors. The third pendent arm of H3N3[9]N3 and H3N3-F[9]N3 remains neutral and not bonded to the zirconium. Treatment of 1 with NaH led to the synthesis of [Zr(NMe2){N(Ph)SiMe2}2tacn], 3, that results from the cleavage of the N-Si bond of the original neutral pendent arm. Complexes [ZrCl{N(Ph')SiMe2}2tacn] (Ph' = C6H5, 4, and C6H4F, 5) have been obtained by reactions of ZrCl4 with {MN(Ph')SiMe2}3tacn.2THF (M = Li, Na). Reactions of 4 and 5 with LiC triple bond CPh led to the syntheses of [Zr(CCPh){N(Ph')SiMe2}2tacn] (Ph' = C6H5, 6, and C6H4F, 7). The solid-state structure of 3 shows a chiral metal center.  相似文献

The alkylation of the Brookhart-Gibson {2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]2(C5H3N)} FeCl2 precatalyst with 2 equiv of LiCH2Si(CH3)3 led to the isolation of several catalytically very active products depending on the reaction conditions. The expected dialkylated species {2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]2}(C5H3N)Fe(CH2SiMe3)2 (2) was indeed the major component of the reaction mixture. However, other species in which alkylation occurred at the pyridine ring ortho position, {2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]2-2-CH2SiMe3}(C5H3N)Fe(CH2SiMe3) (1), and at the imine C atom, {2-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]-6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhNC(CH3)(CH2 SiMe3)](C5H3N)}Fe(CH2SiMe3) (3), have also been isolated and fully characterized. In addition, deprotonation of the methyl-imino functions and formation of a new divalent Fe catalyst {[2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN-C=(CH2)]2(C5H3N)}Fe(mu-Cl)Li(THF)3 (4) also occurred depending on the reaction conditions. In turn, the formation of 4 might trigger the reductive coupling of two units through the methyl-carbon wings. This process resulted in the one-electron reduction of the metal center, affording a dinuclear Fe(I) alkyl catalyst {[{[2,6-(i-Pr)2C6H5]N=C(CH3)}(C5H3N){[2,6-(i-Pr)26H5]N=CCH2}Fe(CH2SiMe3)]}2 (5). Different from other metal derivatives, complex 5 could not be prepared from the monodeprotonated version of the ligand. Its reaction with a mixture of FeCl2 and RLi afforded instead [{2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN-C=(CH2)]2(C5H3N)}FeCH2Si(CH3)3][Li(THF)4] (6) which is also catalytically active. All of these high-spin species have been shown to have high catalytic activity for olefin polymerization, producing polymers of two distinct natures, depending on the formal oxidation state of the metal center.  相似文献

The boron-bridged constrained geometry titanium complexes [Ti[eta5:eta1-(C5H4)B(NR2)NPh](NMe2)2][R = iPr (3), SiMe3(4)] and [Ti[eta5:eta1-(C9H6)B(NiPr2)NPh](NMe2)2](12) have been prepared in good yields by amine elimination reaction from [Ti(NMe2)4]. Subsequent deamination-chlorination with excess Me3SiCl yielded the corresponding dichloro-complexes (5, 6, 13). Reaction of the analogous ligand precursors (C5H5)B(NiPr2)N(H)R (R = Cy, tBu) with [Ti(NMe2)4] did not result in the expected bridged compounds, but rather in the half-sandwich complexes [Ti[(eta5-C5H4)B(NiPr2)N(H)R](NMe2)3][R = Cy (9), tBu (10)]. All compounds were fully characterised by means of multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. Thorough investigation of substituent effects was achieved by comparative X-ray diffraction studies on complexes 3, 5, 6 and 12.  相似文献

Insertion of MeO(2)C-C[triple bond]C-CO(2)Me (DMAD) into the Pd-C bond of the heterodimetallic complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d(dmba-C)] (2) (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2), dmba-C = metallated dimethylbenzylamine) and [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d(8-mq-C,N)] (3) (8-mq-C,N = cyclometallated 8-methylquinoline) yielded the sigma-alkenyl complexes [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(CO(2)Me)=C(CO(2)Me)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2))}] (7) and [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(CO(2)Me)[double bond, length as m-dash]C(CO(2)Me)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N)}] (8), respectively. The latter afforded the adduct [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d{C(CO(2)Me)=C(CO(2)Me)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N)}(CNBu(t))] (9) upon reaction with 1 equiv. of Bu(t)NC. The heterodinuclear sigma-butadienyl complexes [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(Ph=C(Ph)C(CO(2)Me)=(CO(2)Me)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2))}] (11) and [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(Ph)=C(CO(2)Et)C(Ph)=C(CO(2)Et)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N)}] (13) have been obtained by reaction of the metallate K[Fe{Si(OMe)(3)}(CO)(3)(dppm-P)] (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)) with [P[upper bond 1 start]dCl{C(Ph)=C(Ph)C(CO(2)Me)=C(CO(2)Me)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)N[upper bond 1 end]Me(2))}] or [P[upper bond 1 start]dCl{C(Ph)=C(CO(2)Et)C(Ph)=(CO(2)Et)}(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N[upper bond 1 end])], respectively. Monoinsertion of various organic isocyanides RNC into the Pd-C bond of 2 and 3 afforded the corresponding heterometallic iminoacyl complexes. In the case of complexes [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end][upper bond 1 start]d{C=(NR)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N[upper bond 1 end])}] (15a R = Ph, 15b R = xylyl), a static six-membered C,N chelate is formed at the Pd centre, in contrast to the situation in [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(=NR)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2))}] (14a R = o-anisyl, 14b R = 2,6-xylyl) where formation of a mu-eta(2)-Si-O bridge is preferred over NMe(2) coordination. The outcome of the reaction of the dimetallic alkyl complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]dMe] with RNC depends both on the stoichiometry and the electronic donor properties of the isocyanide employed for the migratory insertion process. In the case of o-anisylisocyanide, the iminoacyl complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(=N-o-anisyl)Me}] (16) results from the reaction in a 1 : 1 ratio. Addition of three equiv. of o-anisylisocyanide affords the tris(insertion) product [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{[C(=N-o-anisyl)](3)Me}] (18). After addition of a fourth equivalent of o-anisylNC, exclusive formation of the isocyanide adduct [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d{[C(=N-o-anisyl)](3)Me}(CN-o-anisyl)] (19) was spectroscopically evidenced. In the complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{[C(=N-o-C(6)H(4)COCH(2))](2)Me}] (20), the sigma-bound diazabutadienyl unit is part of a 12-membered organic macrocyle which results from bis(insertion) of 1,2-bis(2-isocyanophenoxy)ethane into the Pd-Me bond of the precursor complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]dMe]. In contrast, addition of two equivalents of tert-butylisocyanide to a solution of the latter afforded [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]Fe(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d{C(=NBu(t))Me}(CNBu(t))] (21) in which both a terminal and an inserted isocyanide ligand are coordinated to the Pd centre. In all cases, there was no evidence for competing CO substitution at the Fe(CO)(3) fragment by RNC. The molecular structures of the insertion products 8 x CH(2)Cl(2) and 16 x CH(2)Cl(2) have been determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Compounds of the new tetrafluorophthalimido anion, [C(6)F(4)(CO)(2)N](-), are readily accessible by treatment of tetrafluorophthalimide with either LiNPr(i)(2) or mixtures of NEt(3) and Me(3)ECl (E = Si or Sn), to give C(6)F(4)(CO)(2)N-X (X = Li 3, SiMe(3)4, and SnMe(3)5). The reaction of the trimethylsilyl derivative 4 with AgF leads cleanly to the ion pair complex [Ag(NCMe)(2)][Ag(N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4))(2)] (6·2MeCN), which contains a linear [Ag{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)}(2)](-) anion and a tetracoordinate Ag(+) cation. Compound 6 reacts with iodine to give the N-iodo compound C(6)F(4)(CO)(2)NI 7, which crystallises as an acetonitrile adduct. Treatment of 6 with LAuCl affords LAu{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)} (L = Ph(3)P 8a, Cy(3)P 8b, or THT 9), whereas the reaction with AuCl in acetonitrile affords the heterobinuclear compound [Ag(MeCN)(2)][Au{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)}(2)]·MeCN (10·3MeCN). The tetrafluorophthalimido ligand is not readily displaced by donor ligands; however, the addition of B(C(6)F(5))(3)(Et(2)O) to a diethyl ether solution of 8a leads to the salt [Au(PPh(3))(2)][N{COB(C(6)F(5))(3)}(2)C(6)F(4))] 11. The analogous reaction of (THT)Au{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)} with B(C(6)F(5))(3) in toluene in the presence of excess norbornene (nb) gives [Au(nb)(3)][N{COB(C(6)F(5))(3)}(2)C(6)F(4))] 12. Compounds 11 and 12 contain a new non-coordinating phthalimido-bridged diborate anion with O-bonded boron atoms. The crystal structures of compounds 2-11 are reported.  相似文献

The Staudinger reaction of N(CH2CH2NR)3P [R = Me (1), Pr (2)] with 1 equiv of N3SO2C6H4Me-4 gave the ionic phosphazides [N(CH2CH2NR)3PN][SO2C6H4Me-4] [R = Me (3), R = Pr (5a)], and the same reaction of 2 with N3SO2C6H2Me3-2,4,6 gave the corresponding aryl sulfinite 5b. On the other hand, the reaction of 1 with 0.5 equiv of N3SO2Ar (Ar = C6H4Me-4) furnished the novel ionic phosphazide [[N(CH2CH2NMe)3P]2(mu-N3)][SO2Ar] (6). Data that shed light on the mechanistic pathway leading to 3 were obtained by low temperature 31P NMR spectroscopy. A crystal and molecular structure analysis of the phosphazide sulfonate [N(CH2CH2NMe)3PN3][SO3C6H4Me-4] (4), obtained by atmospheric oxidation of 3, indicated an ionic structure, the cationic part of which is stabilized by a transannular P-N bond. A crystal and molecular structure analysis of 6 also indicated an ionic structure in which the cation features two untransannulated N(CH2CH2NMe)3P cages bridged by an azido group in an eta 1: mu: eta 1 fashion. The reaction of P(NMe2)3 with N3SO2Ar (Ar = C6H4Me-4) in a 1:0.5 molar ratio furnished [[(Me2N)3P]2(mu-N3)][SO2-Ar] (11) in quantitative yield. On the other hand, the same reaction involving a 1:1 molar ratio of P(NMe2)3 and N3SO2Ar produced a mixture of 11, [(Me2N)3PN3][SO2Ar] (12), and the iminophosphorane (Me2N)3P=NSO2Ar (10). In contrast, the bicyclic tris(amino)phosphines MeC(CH2NMe)3P (7) and O=P(CH2NMe)3P (8) reacted with N3SO2-Ar (Ar = C6H4Me-4) to give the iminophosphorane MeC(CH2NMe)3P=NSO2Ar (14) (structured by X-ray means) and O=P(CH2NMe)3P=NSO2Ar (16) via the intermediate phosphazides MeC(CH2NMe)3PN3SO2Ar (13) and O=P(CH2NMe)3PN3SO2Ar (15), respectively. The variety of products obtained from the reactions of arylsulfonyl azides with proazaphosphatranes (1 and 2), acyclic P(NMe2)3, bicyclic tris(amino)phosphines 7 and 8 are rationalized in terms of steric and basicity variations among the phosphorus reagents.  相似文献

New examples of [C6F5Xe]+ salts of the weakly coordinating [BY4]- (Y = CN, CF3, or C6F5) anions were synthesized by metathesis of [C6F5Xe][BF4] with MI[BY4] (MI = K or Cs; Y = CN, CF3, or C6F5) in CH3CN at -40 degrees C, and were crystallized from CH2Cl2 or from a CH2Cl2/CH3CN solvent mixture. The low-temperature (-173 degrees C) X-ray crystal structures of the [C6F5Xe]+ cation and of the [C6F5XeNCCH3]+ adduct-cation are reported for [C6F5Xe][B(CF3)4], [C6F5XeNCCH3][B(CF3)4], [C6F5Xe][B(CN)4], and [C6F5XeNCCH3][B(C6F5)4]. The [C6F5Xe]+ cation, in each structure, interacts with either the anion or the solvent, with the weakest cation-anion interactions occurring for the [B(CF3)4]- anion. The solid-state Raman spectra of the [C6F5Xe]+ and [C6F5XeNCCH3]+ salts have been assigned with the aid of electronic structure calculations. Gas-phase thermodynamic calculations show that the donor-acceptor bond dissociation energy of [C6F5XeNCCH3]+ is approximately half that of [FXeNCCH3]+. Coordination of CH3CN to [C6F5Xe]+ is correlated with changes in the partial charges on mainly Xe, the ipso-C, and N, that is, the partial charge on Xe increases and those on the ipso-C and N decrease upon coordination, typifying a transition from a 2c-2e to a 3c-4e bond.  相似文献

Reaction of the mixed-ring silyl methyl complex CpCp*Hf[Si(SiMe3)3]Me (4) with B(C6F5)3 in bromobenzene-d5 yielded the zwitterionic hafnium silyl complex [CpCpHfSi(SiMe3)3][MeB(C6F5)3] (7), which is stable for at least 12 h in solution. Addition of PhSiH3 to 7 rapidly produced HSi(SiMe3)3, CpCp*HfH(mu-H)B(C6F5)3, and oligomeric silane products. Reactions of CpCp*Hf(SiR3)Me (SiR3 = SitBuPh2, SiHMes2) with B(C6F5)3 rapidly produced HSiR3 in quantitative yield along with unidentified hafnium-containing species. However, reactions of Cp2Hf(SiR3)Me (SiR3 = Si(SiMe3)3 (8), SitBuPh2 (9), SiPh3 (10)) with B(C6F5)3 quantitatively produced the corresponding cationic hafnium silyl complexes 12-14. The complex Cp2Hf(SitBuPh2)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (13) was isolated by crystallization from toluene at -30 degrees C and fully characterized, and its spectroscopic properties and crystal structure are compared to those of its neutral precursor 9. The sigma-bond metathesis reaction of 13 with Mes2SiH2 yielded HSitBuPh2 and the reactive species Cp2Hf(eta(2)-SiHMes2)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (16, benzene-d6), which was also generated by reaction of Cp2Hf(SiMes2H)Me (11) with B(C6F5)3. Spectroscopic data provide evidence for an unusual alpha-agostic Si-H interaction in 16. At room temperature, 16 reacts with benzene to form Cp2Hf(Ph)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (17), and with toluene to give isomers of Cp2Hf(C6H4Me)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (18-20) and Cp2Hf(CH2Ph)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (21). The reaction with benzene is first order in both 16 and benzene. Kinetic data including activation parameters (deltaH = 19(1) kcal/mol; deltaS = -17(3) eu), a large primary isotope effect (kH/kD = 6.9(7)), and the experimentally determined rate law are consistent with a mechanism involving a concerted transition state for C-H bond activation.  相似文献

The reaction of Cp2Hf(SiMes2H)Me (1) with B(C6F5)3 produces zwitterionic Cp2Hf(eta2-SiHMes2)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (2), which is stable for >8 h at -40 degrees C in toluene-d8. Spectroscopic data provide evidence for an unusual alpha-agostic Si-H interaction in 2. At room temperature, 2 reacts with the C-H bonds of aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and toluene to produce Cp2Hf(Ph)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (3), isomers of Cp2Hf(C6H4Me)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (4-6), and Cp2Hf(CH2Ph)(mu-Me)B(C6F5)3 (7), respectively. The reaction involving benzene is first-order in both 2 and benzene; rate = k[2][C6H6]. Mechanistic data including activation parameters (DeltaH = 19(1) kcal/mol; DeltaS = -17(3) eu), a large primary isotope effect of 6.9(7), and the experimentally determined rate law are consistent with a mechanism involving a concerted transition state for C-H bond activation.  相似文献

New examples of [C6F5Xe]+ salts of the weakly coordinating anions [B(CF3)4]-, [B(C6F5)4]-, [B(CN)4]-, and [B(OTeF5)4]- have been synthesized by metathesis reactions of [C6F5Xe][BF4] with the corresponding MI[BY4] salts (MI = K or Cs; Y = CF3, C6F5, CN, or OTeF5). The salts were characterized in solution by multi-NMR spectroscopy. Their stabilities in prototypic solvents (CH3CN and CH2Cl2) and decomposition products are reported. The influence of the coordinating nature of [BY4]- on the decomposition rate of [C6F5Xe]+ as well as the presence of the weakly nucleophilic [BF4]- ion has been studied. The electrophilic pentafluorophenylation of C6H5F by [C6F5Xe][BY4] in solvents of different coordinating abilities (CH3CN and CH2Cl2) and the effects of stronger nucleophiles (fluoride and water) on the pentafluorophenylation process have been investigated. Simulations of the 19F and 129Xe NMR spectra of [C6F5Xe]+ have provided the complete set of aryl 19F-19F and 129Xe-19F coupling constants and their relative signs. The 19F NMR parameters of the [C6F5Xe]+ cation in the present series of salts are shown to reflect the relative degrees of cation-solvent interactions.  相似文献

The successive addition of KCN and Ph3CCl to B(C6F4-C6F5-2)3 (PBB) affords triphenylmethyl salts of the [NC-PBB]- anion. By contrast, the analogous reaction with sodium dicyanamide followed by treatment with Ph(3)CCl leads to the zwitterionic aminoborane H2NB(C12F9)2C12F8, via nucleophilic attack on an o-F atom, together with CPh3[F-PBB]. Whereas treatment of [NC-PBB]- with either PBB or B(C6F5)3 fails to give isolable cyano-bridged diborates, the reaction of Me3SiNC-B(C6F5)3 with PBB in the presence of Ph3CCl affords [Ph3C][PBB-NC-B(C6F5)3]. Due to steric hindrance this anion is prone to borane dissociation. The longer linking group N(CN)2- gives the very voluminous anions [N[CNB(C6F5)3]2]- and [N(CN-PBB)2]-. A comparison of propylene polymerisations with rac-Me2Si(Ind)2ZrMe2 activated with the various boranes or trityl borates gives an anion-dependent activity sequence, in the order [NC-PBB]- < [MeB(C6F5)3]- < [MePBB]- approximately [PBB-NCB(C6F5)3]- approximately [N[CNB(C6F5)3]2]- < [F-PBB]-< [B(C6F5)4]- < [N(CN-PBB)2]-. The anion [N(CN-PBB)2]- gives a catalyst productivity about 2500 times higher than that of [NC-PBB]- and exceeds that of [B(C6F5)4]- based catalysts. The van der Waals volumes and surface areas of the anions have been calculated and provide a rationale for the observed reactivity trends in polymerisation reactions.  相似文献

We have synthesized a triamidoamine ligand ([(RNCH2CH2)3N]3-) in which R is 3,5-(2,4,6-i-Pr3C6H2)2C6H3 (HexaIsoPropylTerphenyl or HIPT). The reaction between MoCl4(THF)2 and H3[HIPTN3N] in THF followed by 3.1 equiv of LiN(SiMe3)2 led to formation of orange [HIPTN3N]MoCl. Reduction of [HIPTN3N]MoCl with magnesium in THF under dinitrogen led to formation of salts that contain the {[HIPTN3N]Mo(N2)}- ion. The {[HIPTN3N]Mo(N2)}- ion can be oxidized by zinc chloride to give [HIPTN3N]Mo(N2) or protonated to give [HIPTN3N]Mo-N=N-H. Other relevant compounds that have been prepared include {[HIPTN3N]Mo-N=NH2}+, [HIPTN3N]MoN, {[HIPTN3N]Mo=NH}+, and {[HIPTN3N]Mo(NH3)}+. (The anion is usually {B(3,5-(CF3)2C6H3)4}- = {BAr'4}-.) Reduction of [HIPTN3N]Mo(N2) with CoCp2 in the presence of {2,6-lutidinium}BAr'4 in benzene leads to formation of ammonia and {[HIPTN3N]Mo(NH3)}+. Preliminary X-ray studies suggest that the HIPT substituent creates a deep, three-fold symmetric cavity that protects a variety of dinitrogen reduction products against bimolecular decomposition reactions, while at the same time the metal is left relatively open toward reactions near the equatorial amido ligands.  相似文献

Reaction of aryllithium reagents LiR (R = C(6)H(4)((R)-CH(Me)NMe(2))-2 (1a), C(6)H(3)(CH(2)NMe(2))(2)-2,6 (1b), C(6)H(4)(CH(2)N(Me)CH(2)CH(2)OMe)-2 (1c)) with 1 equiv of sulfur (1/8 S(8)) results in the quantitative formation of the corresponding lithium arenethiolates [Li{SC(6)H(4)((R)-CH(Me)NMe(2))-2}](6) (3), [Li{SC(6)H(3)(CH(2)NMe(2))(2)-2,6}](6) (4), and [Li{SC(6)H(4)(CH(2)N(Me)CH(2)CH(2)OMe)-2}](2) (5). Alternatively, 3 can be prepared by reacting the corresponding arenethiol HSC(6)H(4)((R)-CH(Me)NMe(2))-2 (2) with (n)BuLi. X-ray crystal structures of lithium arenethiolates 3 and 4, reported in abbreviated form, show them to have hexanuclear prismatic and hexanuclear planar structures, respectively, that are unprecedented in lithium thiolate chemistry. The lithium arenethiolate [Li{SC(6)H(4)(CH(2)N(Me)CH(2)CH(2)OMe)-2}](2) (5) is dimeric in the solid state and in solution, and crystals of 5 are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 17.7963(9) ?, b = 8.1281(7) ?, c = 17.1340(10) ?, beta = 108.288(5) degrees, Z = 4, and final R = 0.047 for 4051 reflections with F > 4sigma(F). Hexameric 4 reacts with 1 equiv of lithium iodide and 2 equiv of tetrahydrofuran to form the dinuclear adduct [Li(2)(SAr)(I)(THF)(2)] (6). Crystals of 6 are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 13.0346(10) ?, b = 11.523(3) ?, c = 16.127(3) ?, beta = 94.682(10) degrees, Z = 4, and final R = 0.059 for 3190 reflections with F > 4sigma(F).  相似文献

The N-imidoylamidine ligand i-Pr2C6H3N(C(Me)NC6H3i-Pr2)2 2 was prepared. Direct reactions with AlI3 or AlMe3 afforded [(i-Pr2C6H3N(C(Me)NC6H3i-Pr2)2)AlI2][AlI4] 3 and [i-Pr2C6H3N(C(Me)NC6H3i-Pr2)2)AlMe2][AlMe4].AlMe3, 4 respectively. Thermolysis of 4 gave (i-Pr2C6H3NC(=CH2)(NC6H3i-Pr2)(C(Me)NC6H3i-Pr2)AlMe2 6. Subsequent reaction with B(C6F5)3 gave the zwitterionic species [(i-Pr2C6H3)N(C(=CH2)NC6H3i-Pr2)(C(Me)NC6H3i-Pr2)AlMe(mu-MeB(C6F5)3)] 7. In a related reactions of 2, [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] and AlMe3, AlH3.NEtMe2 or AlD3.NMe3, the complexes [(i-Pr2C6H3N(C(Me)NC6H3i-Pr2)2)AlR2][B(C6F5)4] (R = Me 5, H 8, D 9) and [(i-Pr2C6H3)N(C(=CH2)NC6H3i-Pr2)(C(Me)NC6H3i-Pr2)AlH][B(C6F5)4] 10 are formed. Single-crystal X-ray data for 2, 3, 5 and 10 are reported.  相似文献

The silyl ethers 3-But-2-(OSiMe3)C6H3CH=NR (2a-e) have been prepared by deprotonation of the known iminophenols (1a-e) and treatment with SiClMe3 (a, R = C6H5; b, R = 2,6-Pri2C6H3; c, R = 2,4,6-Me3C6H2; d, R = 2-C6H5C6H4; e, R = C6F5). 2a-c react with TiCl4 in hydrocarbon solvents to give the binuclear complexes [Ti{3-But-2-(O)C6H3CH=N(R)}Cl(mu-Cl3)TiCl3] (3a-c). The pentafluorophenyl species 2e reacts with TiCl4 to give the known complex Ti{3-But-2-(O)C6H3CH=N(R)}2Cl2. The mononuclear five-coordinate complex, Ti{3-But-2-(O)C6H3CH=N(2,4,6-Me3C6H2)}Cl3 (4c), was isolated after repeated recrystallisation of 3c. Performing the dehalosilylation reaction in the presence of tetrahydrofuran yields the octahedral, mononuclear complexes Ti{3-But-2-(O)C6H3CH=N(R)}Cl3(THF) (5a-e). The reaction with ZrCl4(THF)2 proceeds similarly to give complexes Zr{3-But-2-(O)C6H3CH=N(R)}Cl3(THF) (6b-e). The crystal structures of 3b, 4c, 5a, 5c, 5e, 6b, 6d, 6e and the salicylaldehyde titanium complex Ti{3-But-2-(O)C6H3CH=O}Cl3(THF) (7) have been determined. Activation of complexes 5a-e and 6b-e with MAO in an ethene saturated toluene solution gives polyethylene with at best high activity depending on the imine substituent.  相似文献

Treatment of the titanium(IV) alkoxide complex [Ti(Oi Pr)(OC6Me2H(2)CH2)3N] (2) with BH3.THF, as part of a study into the utility and reactivity of (2) in the metal mediated borane reduction of acetophenone, results in alkoxide-hydride exchange and formation of the structurally characterised titanium(iv) tetrahydroborate complex [Ti{BH4}(OC6Me2H2CH2)3N] (3). Complex (3) readily undergoes reduction to form the isolable titanium(III) species [Ti(OC6Me2H2CH2)3N]2 (4). Reaction of (2) with B(C6F5)3 results in formation of the Lewis acid adduct [Ti(OC6Me2H2CH2)3N][HO.B(C6F5)3] (5). In comparison, treatment of the less sterically encumbered alkoxide Ti(Oi Pr)4 with B(C6F5)3 results in alkoxide-aryl exchange and formation of the organometallic titanium complex [Ti(Oi Pr)3(C6F5)]2 (6). The molecular structures of 3, 4, 5 and 6 have been determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献
