The nucleon electromagnetic form factorsG E P (q2),G M P (q2) and the axial-vector form factor GA(q2) are studied in a relativistic model of independent quarks confined by an equally mixed scalar-vector square root potentialV q(r)=1/2(1+γ 0)(ar 1/2+ν 0) taking into account the appropriate centre-of-mass corrections. The respective root-mean-square radii associated withG E P (q2) and G A (q2) come out as [〈r 2E P ]1/2=0.86 fm and 〈r A 21/2=0.88 fm. Restoration of chiral symmetry in this model is discussed to derive the pion-nucleon form factorG πNN(q2) and consequently the pion-nucleon coupling constant is obtained asg πNN(q2)=12.81 as compared tog πNN(q2)exp⋍13.  相似文献

The spectral dependence of the electron-phonon relaxation rate γe−ph(ℏω) in metals is studied in pump-supercontinuum-probe (PSCP) experiments with femtosecond time resolution. Investigation of this spectral dependence, which exhibits a substantial slowing of the relaxation rate γe−ph(ℏω) near the Fermi level E F , using the parametrization γe−ph(ℏω)∝λ〈Ω2〉 (ℏω−E F )2 makes it possible to determine directly the electron-phonon interaction parameter λ〈Ω2〉. A model pseudopotential depending on an effective core radius but otherwise parameter free is used to study the interatomic interactions, phonon dispersion curves (inq and r-space analysis), phonon density of states, mode Grüneisen parameters, dynamical elastic constants (C 11,C 12 andC 44), bulk modulus (B), shear modulus (C′), deviation from Cauchy relation (C 12C 44), Poisson’s ratio (σ), Young’s modulus (Y), behavior of phonon frequencies in the elastic limit independent of the direction (Y 1), limiting value in the [110] direction (Y 2), degree of elastic anisotropy (A), maximum frequencyω max, mean frequency 〈ω〉, 〈ω 21/2=(〈ω〉/〈ω −1〉)1/2, fundamental frequency 〈ω 2〉, and propagation velocities of the elastic constants in Cu, Ag, Au, Ni, Pd, and Pt. The contribution of s-like electrons is calculated in the second-order perturbation theory for the model potential while that of d-like electrons is taken into account by introducing repulsive short-range Born-Mayer like term. Very recently proposed screening function due to Sarkar et al. has been used to obtain the screened form factor. The theoretical results are compared with experimental findings wherever possible. A good agreement between theoretical investigations and experimental findings has proved the ability of our model potential for predicting a large number of physical properties of transition metals.  相似文献

The problem of defining the second quantized monopole creation operator in non-Abelian gauge theories is discussed and exemplified by the (3 + 1)-dimensional Georgi-Glashow model. We construct the “coherent state” operator M(x) that creates the Coulomb magnetic field in terms of the Dirac singular electromagnetic potential. Our calculation of the vacuum expectation value of this operator 〈M(x)〉 in the confining phase indicates that it is free from the singularity along the Dirac string and in the leading order of perturbation theory the 〈M(x)〉 vanishes as a power of the volume of the system. This supports the conception that inclusion of the nonperturbative effects introduces an effective infrared cutoff on the calculation providing the finiteness of vacuum expectation value 〈M(x)〉. Theoretical expressions of 〈y N〉, 〈|y N − σ1 y P c |〉 and 〈|y N 2σ 1 2 (y P c )2|〉 (wherey N andy P c are the normalized structure amplitudes of the structure and the model respectively) are derived in terms of the heavy atom contributionσ 1 2 for monoclinic and orthorhombic crystals containing a few (i.e., 1 or 2) heavy atoms of the same kind per asymmetric unit by taking the heavy atom part alone as the model. Results are obtained for both the related and unrelated cases. The local values of 〈y N〉 and 〈|y N n − σ 1 n (y P c ) n |〉, (n=1, 2) calculated from these expressions can be used to calculate the overall values of the conventionalR-indicesR(F) andR(I) for the related and unrelated cases. The pion momentum distributions (MDs) in four channels of virtual decay p→B+π, B = N, Δ, N 1/2-(1535), N 1/2+(1440) are calculated in two models, the microscopic model of 3 P 0 scalar q−q fluctuation with the pion as a composite q−q-system and the chiral semi-microscopic model of πq interaction with the pion as a structureless Goldstone boson. The results of the above models are similar for the baryon states B = N, Δ, N 1/2-(1535) but are rather different for the Roper resonance N 1/2+(1440) which corresponds to excitation of two oscillator quanta in the nucleon. The experimental investigation of pion MDs by means of the reaction of quasi-elastic knockout of pion by an electron of a few GeV energy p(e, e′ π)B may be very suitable for Jefferson Laboratory, Virginia (JLab).  相似文献

New experimental data on the binding energyB λλ ofλλ6He, reported very recently, come up with the valuesB λλ = 725 ±0.14 MeV and ΔBλλ = 101 ±0.2 MeV which are substantially lower than the old dataB λλ = 109 ±0.8 MeV and ΔBλλ = 4.7±10 MeV in use in literature since 1966. In view of the new data we decided to undertake a re-study of the λλ 6 He hypernucleus using the same three-body model (α-λ-λ) with a simple coordinate space variational approach which was employed earlier with the old data onλλ/6He. After fitting different λ-λ potentials to the new data of λλ 6 He we have applied our method to study some double-λ hypernuclei in light, medium and heavy mass regions and have determined the structural quantities like Bλλ, the r.m.s. values of core-λ (〈rcore-λ〉〉) and λ-λ (〈rλ-λ〉〉) distances theoretically. The core-λ interaction considered is of Woods-Saxon type. The strength and the range of the core-A potential have been adjusted to reproduce the λ-binding energy(B λ) . These are in good agreement with the relativistic mean field (RMF) results. Our study shows that the λ-λ bonding energy ΔBλλ decreases with increasing mass number from λλ 10 Be to λλ 210 Pb of a double-A hypernucleus  相似文献

In this paper, a single crystal of 0.96Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3-0.04BaTiO3 with dimensions of Φ 30×10 mm was grown by the top-seeded-solution growth method. X-ray powder diffraction results show that the as-grown crystal possesses the rhombohedral perovskite-type structure. The dielectric, piezoelectric and electrical conductivity properties were systematically investigated with 〈001〉, 〈110〉 and 〈111〉 oriented crystal samples. The room-temperature dielectric constants for the 〈001〉, 〈110〉 and 〈111〉 oriented crystal samples are found to be 650, 740 and 400 at 1 kHz. The (T m, ε m) values of the dielectric temperature spectra are almost independent of the crystal orientations; they are (306°C, 3718), (305°C, 3613) and (307°C, 3600) at 1 kHz for the 〈001〉, 〈110〉 and 〈111〉 oriented crystal. The optimum poling conditions were obtained by investigating the piezoelectric constants d 33 as a function of poling temperature and poling electric field. For the 〈001〉 and 〈110〉 crystal samples, the maximum d 33 values of 146 and 117 pC/N are obtained when a poling electric field of 3.5 kV/mm and a poling temperature of 80°C were applied during the poling process. The as-grown 0.96Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3-0.04BaTiO3 crystal possesses a relatively large dc electrical conductivity, especially at higher temperature, having a value of 1.98×10−11 Ω−1⋅m−1 and 3.95×10−9 Ω−1⋅m−1 at 25°C and 150°C for the 〈001〉 oriented crystal sample.  相似文献

We investigate the asymmetries arising due to electromagnetic interactions in largeP T pion inclusive processes. The hardqcd processes that contribute to such asymmetries areq+gq+γ,q+qg+γ etc. which are suspected to be substantial, as indicated by theqcd predictions for a significant and increasingγ/π o ratio at largeP T. We calculate the expected isospin related asymmetries and propose tests that might detect them. Our estimates indicate that the effects are much smaller than may be naively expected. We also observe a remarkable scaling of asymmetries in the variableP T/(s)1/2.  相似文献

Discrepancies and accords between quantum (QM) and classical mechanics (CM) related to expectation values and periods are generally found for both the harmonic oscillator (SHO) and a free particle in a box (FPB), which may apply generally. These indicate non-locality is expected throughout QM. The FPB energy states violate the Correspondence Principle. Previously unexpected accords are found and proven that 〈x 2 CM =〈x 2 QM and τ CM =τ QMb (beat period i.e. beats between the phases for adjoining energy states) for the SHO for all quantum numbers, n. However, for the FPB the beat periods differ at small n. It is shown that a particle’s velocity in an infinite square well varies, no matter how wide the box, nor how far the particle is from the walls. The quantum free particle variances share an indirect commonality with the Aharonov-Bohm and Aharonov-Casher effects in that there is a quantum action in the absence of a force. The concept of an “Expectation Value over a Partial Well Width” is introduced. This paper raises the question as to whether these inconsistencies are undetectable, or can be empirically ascertained. These inherent variances may need to be fixed, or nature is manifestly more non-classical than expected.  相似文献

We consider the states with extremum products and sums of the uncertainties in non-commuting observables. These are illustrated by two specific examples of harmonic oscillator and the angular momentum states. It shows that the coherent states of the harmonic oscillator are characterized by the minimum uncertainty sum 〈(Δq)2〉 + 〈(Δp)2〉. The extremum values of the sums and products of the uncertainties of the components of the angular momentum are also obtained.  相似文献

We first deduce the s-ordered expansion of the Wigner operator. Since Radon transformation of Wigner operator is just the intermediate representation |x λ projector, we naturally obtain the s-ordered product of |x λλx|. Accordingly, the completeness relation is still preserved under the s-ordering. Finally, based on it, we obtain the s-ordered expansion of some useful operator in quantum optics, and some new operator identities are revealed accordingly.  相似文献

The experimental data from the 2-m propane bubble chamber have been analyzed for pC → Λ(K s 0 )X reactions at 10 GeV/c. The estimation of experimental inclusive cross sections for Λ and K s 0 production in the p 12C collision is equal to σΛ = (13.3 ± 1.7) mb and σ K s 0 = (4.6 ± 0.6) mb, respectively. The measured 〈Λ〉/〈π+〉 ratio from pC reaction is equal to (5.3 ± 0.8) × 10−2, and it is approximately two times larger than the 〈Λ〉/〈π+〉 ratio simulated by the FRITIOF model and than that of experimental pp reactions at the same energy. A study concerning the valence space dependence of neutrinoless doubleβ decay observables is performed for several nuclei in the framework of QRPA using the multiple commutator method (MCM). Calculations and comparison to earlier results show that at least for the ground state to ground state transition the dependence is much weaker than in the two neutrino doubleβ decay. It is still a difficult task to extract the parameters of the neutrinoless doubleβ decay since the half-life expression contains products of the parameters 〈m ν 〉 〈η〉 and 〈λ〉. Presented by M. Incorporating chiral-symmetry to the potential model of quarks with confining potentialU(r)=1/2 (1 +γ°)ar 2 with m q =10 MeV anda=2.273 fm−3 that gives a reasonable quark-core contribution to μ p , 〈r 2 p 1/2 andg A , the quark-pion coupling constant for quarks in a nucleon is estimated.G qqπ 2 /4π obtained between 0.4 and 0.5 is consistent with those extracted from experimental vector meson decay-width ratios by Suzuki and Bhaduri. The nucleon-pion coupling constantG NNπ 2 /4π comes out to be of the order of 13.1 in reasonable agreement with the experimental value.  相似文献

The current-voltage characteristics of Mn4Si7-Si〈Mn〉-Mn4Si7 and Mn4Si7-Si〈Mn〉-M photodiodes are studied experimentally. The current passage mechanism under illumination with hν ≥ E g is considered. The role of a contact to Mn4Si7 in the provision of high photosensitivity under illumination of the base by light with hν ≥ 1.14 eV at low temperatures, 77–220 K, is analyzed. From electrical measurements, electron microscopic data for the Mn4Si7-Si〈Mn〉 interface, and photocurrent-voltage characteristics, a band diagram under the conditions of photocurrent passage is constructed. The high low-temperature photosensitivity of the diodes (I ph/I d ≥ 109) is explained by the impact-ionization-induced modulation of the base conductivity and injection amplification of holes in the transition layer.  相似文献

The spectral properties of the Schr?dinger operator T(t)=−d 2/dx 2+q(x,t) in L 2(ℝ) are studied, where the potential q is defined by q=p(x+t), x>0, and q=p(x), x<0; p is a 1-periodic potential and t∈ℝ is the dislocation parameter. For each t the absolutely continuous spectrum σ ac (T(t))=σ ac (T(0)) consists of intervals, which are separated by the gaps γ n (T(t))=γ n (T(0))=(α n n +), n≥1. We prove: in each gap γ n ≠?, n≥ 1 there exist two unique “states” (an eigenvalue and a resonance) λ n ±(t) of the dislocation operator, such that λ n ±(0)=α n ± and the point λ n ±(t) runs clockwise around the gap γ n changing the energy sheet whenever it hits α n ±, making n/2 complete revolutions in unit time. On the first sheet λ n ±(t) is an eigenvalue and on the second sheet λ n ±(t) is a resonance. In general, these motions are not monotonic. There exists a unique state λ0(t) in the basic gap γ0(T(t))=γ0(T(0))=(−∞ ,α0 +). The asymptotics of λ n ±(t) as n→∞ is determined. Received: 5 April 1999 / Accepted: 3 March 2000  相似文献

Asymptotic behaviors of zero modes of the massless Dirac operator H = α · D + Q(x) are discussed, where α = (α1, α2, α3) is the triple of 4 × 4 Dirac matrices, , and Q(x) = (q jk (x)) is a 4 × 4 Hermitian matrix-valued function with | q jk (x) | ≤ Cx−ρ, ρ > 1. We shall show that for every zero mode f, the asymptotic limit of |x|2 f (x) as |x| → + ∞ exists. The limit is expressed in terms of the Dirac matrices and an integral of Q(x) f (x).   相似文献

We investigate numerically and analytically the statistics of Markov chains on so-called braid (B n ) and locally free (ℒℱ n ) groups. Namely, we compute the mean length 〈μ〉 and the variance 〈μ2〉−〈μ〉2 of the shortest word which remains after applying of all group relations to the randomly generatedN-letter word (Markov chain). We express the conjecture (numerically justified) that the mean value 〈μ〉 for the random walk on the groupB n (n≫1) coincides with high accuracy with the same value for the random walk on the “locally free group weth errors” if the number of errors is of order of 20%.  相似文献

Energy eigenvalues and 〈x 2 n for the oscillators having potential energyV(x)=(ω 2 x 2/2)+λ<x 2r >x 2s have been determined for various values ofλ, r, s andn using renormalized hypervirial-Padé scheme. In general, the results show an improvement over the findings of earlier workers. Variation of the evaluated quantities and of the renormalization parameter withλ, r, s andn has been discussed. In addition, this potential has been employed as an illustrative example of the applicability of alternative formalism of perturbation theory developed by Kim and Sukhatme (J. Phys.
