Synergistic solvent extraction of lanthanides with mixtures of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazol-5-one and aliphatic amines: Influence of the ammonium salt ions

Summary The synergistic solvent extraction of Pr, Gd, and Yb with mixtures of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazol-5-one (HP) and tridodecylammonium (TDAHA), trioctylammonium (TOAHA), and dioctylammonium (DOAHA) salts (A ^–=Cl^–, NO ₃ ^– , and ClO ₄ ^– ) in C₆H₆ has been studied. The composition of the extracted species has been determined asAmH⁺[LnP ₄]^– (AmH⁺: ammonium salt cation). The values of the equilibrium constant have been calculated. The influence of the ammonium salt ions on the extraction process is discussed.

Synergetische Extraktion von Lanthaniden mit Mischungen aus 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazol-5-on und aliphatischen Aminen: Einfluß der Ammoniumsalzionen

Zusammenfassung Die synergetische Extraktion von Pr, Gd und Yb mit Mischungen aus 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazol-5-on (HP) und Tridodecylammonium-(TDAHA), Trioctylammonium-(TOAHA) und Dioctylammoniumsalzen (DOAHA) (A ^–=Cl^–, NO ₃ ^– und ClO ₄ ^– ) in C₆H₆ wurde untersucht. Die Zusammensetzung der Extraktionskomplexverbindungen wurde zuAmH⁺[LnP ₄]^– bestimmt; die Gleichgewichtskonstanten wurden berechnet. Der Einfluß der Ionen des Ammoniumsalzes auf die Extraktion wird diskutiert.

Effect of aniline derivatives on the extraction of cobalt with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoylpyrazol-5-one in toluene

Summary The effect of aniline derivatives [4-methylaniline=4-toluidine, 3,4-dimethylaniline=3,4-xylidine, N,N-dimethylaniline and tribenzylamine (Am)] on the extraction of cobalt from sulphate, nitrate and perchlorate aqueous media of 1.0M ionic strength with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoylpyrazol-5-one (HL) in toluene, has been quantitatively studied. With both primary amines a synergic effect was found owing to theAmH·CoL ₃ ion pair extraction. TheAmH·CoL ₃ average formation constant, from CoL ₂ andAmH·CoL, was logK _s =3.7 and 3.8 forAm=4-toluidine and 3,4-xylidine respectively. The composition of the extracted complexes has been determined asLn(TTA)₃ TDAHCl andTDAH⁺[LnP ₄]^–. The values of the equilibrium constants have been calculated. Some peculiarities of the synergistic extraction process are discussed.

Einige Eigenschaften der synergetischen Extraktion von Lanthaniden mit Mischungen aus chelatbildenden Extrahenten und Tridodecylamin

Zusammenfassung Es wurde die synergetische Extraktion von Pr, Gd und Yb mit Mischungen aus Thenoyltrifluoraceton (HTTA) oder 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazol-5-on (HP) und Tridodecylamin (TDA) untersucht. Die Zusammensetzung der ExtraktionskomplexverbindungenLn(TTA)₃ TDAHCl undTDAH⁺[LnP ₄]^– wurde bestimmt und die Gleichgewichtskonstanten wurden berechnet. Die Eigenschaften der synergetischen Extraktion werden diskutiert.

本文研究了PMBP及PMBP与锆形成络合物的极谱行为,并建立了微量锆极谱测定方法。该方法灵敏度高,对铪的选择性较好。测定了18个地质标样获得满意的结果。     

Solvent extraction of lanthanide ions with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolone-5 (HPMBP), II. Extraction of erbium(III), ytterbium(III) and lutetium(III) by HPMBP from aqueous-methanol solutions

The solvent extraction of lanthanides(III) (Ln=Er, Yb, Lu) by 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoylpyrazolone-5 (HL) in carbon tetrachloride from aqueous-methanol phase was investigated. The equilibrium constants for the extraction from aqueous –50% (v/v) methanol phase (K _ex ), two-phase stability constants of the complexesLnL ₃ ( ₃ ^* ) and stability constants of complexesLnL ²⁺,LnL ₂ ⁺ ,LnL ₃ ( _n ) (Ln=Yb, Lu) were calculated. It was confirmed that the addition of methanol to the aqueous phase causes a synergistic effect. The influence of methanol on the dissociation constant of HPMBP (K _a ) and the distribution constant of HPMBP (p _HL ) between carbon tetrachloride and water-methanol solutions was investigated.

Extraktion von Seltenerdmetall-Ionen mit 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolon-5 (HPMBP), II. Extraktion von Er(III), Yb(III) und Lu(III) aus Wasser-Methanol-Lösungen

Zusammenfassung Die Extraktion von Lanthaniden (Ln=Er, Yb, Lu) mittels 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolon-5 (HL) in Kohlenstofftetrachlorid aus Wasser-Methanol Phase wurde untersucht. Die Werte der Gleichgewichtskonstante für Extraktion aus Wasser –50% (v/v) Methanol-Phase (K _ex ), der zweiphasigen Beständigkeitskonstante für die KomplexeLnL ₃ ( ₃ ^* ), sowie der Stabilitätskonstante des KomplexesLnL ²⁺,LnL ₂ ⁺ undLnL ₃ ( _n ) (Ln=Yb, Lu), wurden berechnet. Es wurde festgestellt, daß die Zugabe von Methanol zur wäßrigen Phase einen synergistischen Effekt hat. Der Einfluß von Methanol auf die Dissoziationskonstante von HPMBP (K _a ) und die Verteilungskonstante des HPMBP (p _HL zwischen organischer und wäßrig-methanolischer Phase wurde untersucht.

     

Extraction Chemistry of Palladium(II). Mechanism of Antagonistic Synergistic Extraction of Palladium By A 4-Aroyl Derivative of 1-phenyl-3-Methyl-Pyrazolone-5- one and Trialkylamine of High Molecular Weight

The synergistic extraction behavior of Pd^II, one of the main radioactive fission products in the reprocessing process, from HNO₃ solutions with a 4-aroyl derivative of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-pyrazolone-5-one (PMP), a weakly acidic chelating extractant 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-(2-methoxybenzoyl)-pyrazolone-5-one (HPMMBP), and a trialkylamine of high molecular weight, tri-iso-octylamine (TiOA), has been studied. An obviously antagonistic extraction effect was observed in the extraction system under the given conditions. To understand this phenomenon, a preliminary investigation was performed to explain the mechanism of this reaction. According to the theory of the corresponding solutions (TCS), the association between HPMMBP and TiOA is presented and discussed in the organic phase. An associated species HPMMBP·TiOA formed through hydrogen bonding in a CHCl₃ medium might be the main reason why an antagonistic extraction effect occurred. The association constant between HPMMBP and TiOA was calculated to be 0.212 ± 0.03

1959年,B.S.Jensen制得一系列酰代吡唑酮,并指出这类化合物可用于多种金属元素的液液萃取,但没有萃取的实验数据。本文的部分作者曾于1962年复制了1-苯基-3-甲基-4-苯甲酰吡唑酮(5),并研究了它的萃取性质及其萃合物。继后,又研究了它对钼、钨的萃取以及钼氧螯合物的晶体结构。这种萃取剂对金属的分析分离研究在国内外也受到广泛重视。然而,对它在溶剂中的异构互变平衡及其异构体的性质,尚不清楚。本文试图利用核磁共振方法,在不破坏异构体互变平衡的条件下,观测α-质子的信号,从而阐明这个螯合剂在溶剂中的异构体性质。

Summary The solvent extraction behaviour of Gd(III), Tb(III), Dy(III), Ho(III), and Tm(III) has been investigated using 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolone-5 (HPMBP or HL) in carbon tetrachloride as the extractant. Depending on the concentration ofHPMBP in the organic phase the chelatesLnL ₃ [Ln(III)=Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Tm] and adductsLnL ₃ · HL [Ln(III)=Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho] were extracted. The extraction equilibrium constants (K _ex3 orK _ex4) for the formation ofLnL ₃ orLnL ₃ · HL and the two-phase stability constants of the chelates or adducts ( ₃ ^x , ₄ ^x ) have been evaluated.

Zusammenfassung Die Extraktion von Gd(III), Tb(III), Dy(III), Ho(III), und Tm(III) mittels 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolon-5 (HPMBP oderHL) in Kohlenstofftetrachlorid wurde untersucht. In Abhängigkeit von der Konzentration anHPMBP in der organischen Phase bildeten sich Chelate vom TypLnL ₃ [Ln(III)=Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Tm] and Addukte vom TypLnL ₃ · HL [Ln(III)=Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho]. Die Werte der Extraktions-Gleichgewichtskonstanten (K _ex3 oderK _ex4) fürLnL ₃ oderLnL ₃ · HL, sowie die Zweiphasen-Beständigkeitskonstanten ( ₃ ^x , ₄ ^x ) der Chelate oder Addukte wurden berechnet.

Effect of p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene Fitted with Phosphinoyl Pendant Arms as Synergistic Agent in the Solvent Extraction and Separation of Some Trivalent Lanthanoids with 4-Benzoyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone

The synergistic solvent extraction of five selected lanthanoid ions (La³⁺, Nd³⁺, Eu³⁺, Ho³⁺ and Lu³⁺) with a 4-benzoyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone(HP) and the 5,11,17,23-tert-butyl-25,26,27,28-tetrakis(dimethylphosphinoylmethoxy)calix[4]arene, (S) in CHCl₃ has been studied. It was found that in presence of this phosphorus-containing calix[4]arene the lanthanoids have been extracted as LnP₃ · S. On the basis of the experimental data, the values of the equilibrium constants have been calculated. The influence of the synergistic agent on the extraction process has been discussed. A synergistic effect of almost three orders of magnitude occurs in the extraction of Ln(III) with mixture of HP and S. The values of the separation factors (S.F.) between the adjacent elements have been evaluated. On the basis of the IR and NMR spectra the stoichiometry and the structure of the solid complexes of Eu(III) with HP and Eu(III) with HP and S were proposed.     

Thermodynamic parameters for the extraction of some lanthanides with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolone-5 and trioctylamine

The synergistic extraction of Pr, Gd and Yb with a mixture of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolone-5 and trioctylamine diluted in C₆H₆, CHCl₃ and CCl₄ at 288 K, 298 K, 308 K and 318 K has been investigated. The values of the equilibrium constants as well as of H°, S° and G° have been calculated. The thermodynamic parameters indicate that the adduct formed becomes stable on the account of the enthalpy change which exceeds the antistabilizing effect of the entropy factor. A comparison is made to the extraction of the same elements with thenoyltrifluoroacetone.

Die thermodynamischen Parameter für die Extraktion einiger Lanthaniden mit 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolon und Trioctylamin

Zusammenfassung Es wurde die synergistische Extraktion von Pr, Gd und Yb mit einer Mischung von 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolon mit Trioctylamin in C₆H₆, CHCl₃ und CCl₄ bei 288 K, 298 K, 308 K und 318 K bestimmt. Die Gleichgewichtskonstanten und die Werte für H°, S° und G° wurden berechnet. Die thermodynamischen Parameter legen den Schluß nahe, daß die Stabilität des gebildeten Addukts in Änderungen der Enthalpie begründet ist, wobei der destabilisierende entropische Effekt übertroffen wird. Die Ergebnisse werden mit der Extraktion mittels Thenoyltrifluoraceton verglichen.

The extraction of Pr, Gd and Yb with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolone-5 (HPMBP) diluted in CHCl₃, C₆H₆, and CCl₄ at 288 K, 298 K, 308 K, and 318 K has been investigated. A compound of the typeMe(PMBP)₃HPMBP is formed in the organic phase. The values of the thermodynamic constants as well as of the parameters H°, S° and G° have been determined.

Der Temperatureinfluß auf die Extraktion einiger Lanthaniden mit 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolon

Zusammenfassung Es wurde die Extraktion von Pr, Gd und Yb mit 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolon (HPMBP) in CHCl₃, C₆H₆ oder CCl₄ als verdünnendes Lösungsmittel bei 288 K, 298 K, 308 K und 318 K untersucht. Es wird eine Verbindung des TypsMe(PMBP)₃HPMBP in der organischen Phase gebildet. Die thermodynamischen Konstanten und auch die Parameter H°, S° und G° wurden bestimmt.

     

2,3-二氢-3,5-二羟基-6-甲基-4(H)吡喃-4-酮的合成及热裂解行为

以葡萄糖和哌啶为原料，合成、分离并鉴定了2，3－二氢－3，5－二羟基－6－甲基－4－（H）吡喃－4－酮（1），以空气氛下直接热裂解，SPME吸附热裂解挥发生产物的方式，分析鉴定了20个裂解的挥发性化合物，讨论了热裂解的可能过程。     

3-甲基-4-芳亚甲基-异噁唑-5(4H)-酮的合成

报道了以吡啶为缚酸剂, 由乙酰乙酸乙酯、盐酸羟胺和芳香醛经三组分一锅法缩合制备3-甲基-4-芳亚甲基-异噁唑-5(4H)-酮衍生物的新方法. 产物结构经MS, ¹H NMR和IR确证.     

1-芳酰基-4-取代吡唑甲酰基氨基硫脲和环化产物的合成及生物活性

利用1-苯基-3-甲基-5-氯-4-吡唑甲酰基异硫氰酸酯(Ⅰ)与芳酰肼(Ⅱ)的加成反应合成了系列新的酰胺基硫脲衍生物(Ⅲ),并将Ⅲ在酸性条件下进行环化反应得到2-取代吡唑甲酰基氨基-5-芳基-1,3,4-噻二唑(Ⅳ).生物活性测定结果表明部分化合物Ⅲ和Ⅳ具有较好的除草活性.     

One-step synthesis of 5-acetyl-2-amino-4-aryl-3-cyano-4H-pyrano[3,2-b]indoles. Molecular and crystal structure of 5-acetyl-2-amino-4-(4"-chloro-3"-nitrophenyl)-3-cyano-4H-pyrano[3,2-b]indole

A one-step procedure was developed for the synthesis of 5-acetyl-2-amino-4-aryl-3-cyano-4H-pyrano[3,2-b]indoles involving the three-component reaction of 1-acetylindol-3(2H)-one with aromatic aldehydes and malononitrile in ethanol in the presence of triethylamine as the catalyst. The structure of 5-acetyl-2-amino-4-(4"-chloro-3"-nitrophenyl)-3-cyano-4H-pyrano[3,2-b]indole was established by X-ray diffraction analysis.
