利用EAST装置单道远红外HCN激光干涉仪测量了等离子体中心道(R=1.82m)线平均电子密度。通过充气加料连续提升主等离子体密度,首次在EAST装置上观察到偏滤器等离子体的三种不同状态:低再循环(偏滤器靶板处等离子体温度较高,密度较低),高再循环(偏滤器靶板处等离子体温度较低,密度较高)和脱靶(偏滤器靶板处等离子体温度和密度都很低)等离子体状态。分析了EAST偏滤器在这三种不同状态下的物理现象。  相似文献

The power threshold for low (L) to high (H) confinement mode transition achieved by radio-frequency heating and molybdenum first wall with lithium coating has been experimentally investigated on the EAST tokamak for two sets of divertor geometries and materials: tungsten/carbon divertor and full carbon divertor. For both sets of divertors, the power threshold was found to decrease with gradual accumulation of the lithium wall coating, suggesting the important role played by the low Z impurities and/or the edge neutral density on the L–H power threshold. When operating in the upper single null configuration, with the ion grad-B drift direction away from the primary X-point, a lower normalized power threshold is observed in EAST with the tungsten/carbon divertor, compared to the carbon divertor after intensive lithium wall coating. A newly installed cryopump increasing the pumping efficiency also plays an important part in the observed lower threshold. In addition, the H-mode in the Quasi-Snowflake divertor configuration has been obtained on EAST, exhibiting higher L–H power threshold compared to the lower single null configuration with similar IP/BT pairs.  相似文献

This paper presents the features of the edge localized modes (ELMs) observed in the 2010 experimental campaign on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST). The first high-confinement mode (H-mode) at an H-factor of HIPB98(y, 2)~ 1 has been obtained with about 1 MW lower hybrid wave (LHW) heating power on the EAST tokamak. The ELMs in EAST are Type III ELMs with high frequency (several hundred Hertz) and low amplitude. ELM features for the following two types of EAST discharges are investigated: discharges with only LHW and those with both LHW and ion cyclotron resonance frequency (ICRF) wave. The ELMs are observed in a wide q 95 window ranging from 2.6 to 5.0, and the ELM frequencies decrease with the safety factor, q 95. In contrast to most observations, the ELM frequency in EAST appears to be weakly proportional to the power through the separatrix. When the ICRF wave is injected, the ELM frequency increases. The control of the ELM frequency and amplitude has been achieved by puffing impure argon gas into the EAST discharge.  相似文献

We report the measurement of total molybdenum ion density for L-mode and H-mode plasmas on EAST using spectral lines observation and calculation based on an impurity transport code. A flat-filed extreme ultraviolet spectrometer with some spatial resolution is used to obtain the radial profiles of molybdenum spectral line emissions. The absolute calibration for the extreme ultraviolet spectrometer is finished by comparing the calculated bremsstrahlung intensity with the readings of CCD detector. Molybdenum ion transport study is performed using the radial ion density profiles and one-dimensional impurity transport code STRAHL. The total molybdenum density profiles are determined from the transport analysis. The molybdenum density during L-mode and H-mode phases are obtained, which are about 3 and 4 orders of magnitude smaller than the electron density, respectively. An inward pinch is found during the H-mode phase that leads to the peaked profile of molybdenum density.  相似文献

The complementary threshold ionization techniques of MATI and ZEKE spectroscopy have been used to reveal well-resolved, long-lived (>10 micros) hydrogenic Rydberg series (50< or =n< or =98) in a van der Waals complex formed between a polyatomic molecule and a diatomic molecule for the first time. The series are observed within 50 cm(-1) of the adiabatic ionization threshold as well as two core-excited thresholds corresponding to excitation of up to two quanta in the van der Waals vibrational mode.  相似文献

The surface topography and structure of copper layers exposed to multiphase plasma jets of products of electrical explosion of molybdenum and copper foils are studied using profilometry and scanning electron and light microscopy. Such treatment allows deposition of either layered coatings or alloyed composite layers. It is found that the surface layer roughness parameter is R a = 3.2−4.0 μm. The thickness of some copper and molybdenum layers of coatings is 15–20 μm. Electroexplosive alloying produces layers 25 μm thick. Sizes of copper inclusions in the molybdenum matrix near the surface of such layers vary from 30 nm to 1–2 μm.  相似文献

The characteristics of plasma produced by plane polarized m=±1 and m=±2 mode helicon waves were investigated for the first time. Plane polarized m=±1 and m=±2 mode helicon waves were mainly excited using a Nagoya type III antenna and a quadrupole antenna, respectively. Two-dimensional cross-field measurements of ArII optical emission induced by hot electrons were made to investigate the RF power deposition. The components of the wave magnetic field measured with a magnetic probe were compared with the field profiles computed for the m=±1 and m=±2 modes. Two and four high intensity plasma columns were observed for the m=±1 and m=±2modes, respectively. These columns were located at the regions between the antenna legs. The radial profiles of the wave magnetic field were in good agreement with computations  相似文献

The EAST transient electric field measurement system is designed for detecting the distribution and intensity of the transient electric field while the EAST is discharging, and can provide the basis for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design. It is composed of monopole electric-field probe, photoelectric isolation device, NI data acquisition equipment and software developed on LabVIEW to deal with the data. By testing, it can make synchronous data acquisition with sixteen analog channels, 20MHz sampling rate and up to 650MB⋅s-1 throughput separately, which is able to meet the demand of acquiring, processing and storing the real-time data in the high-frequency analog signals multi-channel mode.  相似文献

总体描述了EAST机械臂真空舱系统设计,介绍了实现进展情况。EAST铰链式机械臂是用于在不破坏EAST内部真空环境下对第一壁内部进行近距离观测、快速维修的一种检修工具。考虑到对EAST铰链式机械臂的存储、支撑以及工作条件,需要设计和制造出一个密封的真空舱系统。该系统可以在真空条件下通过一个直径为250mm的连接端口连接到EAST主体机构上。系统设计主要分为真空存储舱CASK腔体、真空系统以及烘烤系统三个部分。  相似文献

Large, long-lived vortices, surviving during many turnaround times and far longer than the dispersive linear Rossby wave packets, are abundant in planetary atmospheres and oceans. Nonlinear effects which prevent dispersive decay of intense cyclones and anticyclones and provide their self-propelling propagation are revised here using shallow water equations and their balanced approximations. The main physical mechanism allowing vortical structures to be long-lived in planetary fluid is the quick fluid rotation inside their cores which prevents growth in the amplitude of asymmetric circulation arising due to the beta-effect. Intense vortices of both signs survive essentially longer than the linear Rossby wave packet if their azimuthal velocity is much larger than the Rossby wave speed. However, in the long-time evolution, cyclonic and anticyclonic vortices behave essentially differently that is illustrated by the conservative intermediate geostrophic model. Asymmetric circulation governing vortex propagation is described by the azimuthal mode m=1 for the initial value problem as well as for steadily propagating solutions. Cyclonic vortices move west-poleward decaying gradually due to Rossby wave radiation while anticyclonic ones adjust to non-radiating solitary vortices. Slow weakening of an intense cyclone with decreasing of its size and shrinking of the core is described assuming zero azimuthal velocity outside the core while drifting poleward. The poleward tendency of the cyclone motion relative to the stirring flow corresponds to characteristic trajectories of tropical cyclones in the Earth's atmosphere. The asymmetry in dispersion-nonlinear properties of cyclones and anticyclones is thought to be one of the essential reasons for the observed predominance of anticyclones among long-lived vortices in the atmospheres of the giant planets and also among intrathermoclinic eddies in the ocean.  相似文献

The m/n = 2/1 neoclassical tearing modes are first observed in HL-2A low density, low beta plasma with central electron cyclotron resonance heating. The neoclassical tearing modes (NTMs) are triggered by a sawtooth crash with m/n = 1/1 precursors, which are toroidal coupled with a small scale m/n = 2/1 mode. The time history of the island width is compared with the prediction of the NTM theory, showing a good agreement between theory and experiment.  相似文献
