Ar-B(OH)2 (1a: Ar = C6H4OMe-4, 1b: Ar = C6H3Me2-2,6) react immediately with Rh(OC6H4Me-4)(PMe3)3 (2) in 5 : 1 molar ratio at room temperature to generate [Rh(PMe3)4]+[B5O6Ar4]- (3a: Ar = C6H4OMe-4, 3b: Ar = C6H3Me2-2,6). p-Cresol (92%/Rh), anisole (80%/Rh) and H2O (364%/Rh) are formed from 1a and 2. The reaction of 1a with 2 for 24 h produces [Rh(PMe3)4]+[B5O6(OH)4]- (4) as a yellow solid. This is attributed to hydrolytic dearylation of once formed 3a because the direct reaction of 3a with excess H2O forms 4. An equimolar reaction of 2 with phenylboroxine (PhBO)3 causes transfer of the 4-methylphenoxo ligand from rhodium to boron to produce [Rh(PMe3)4]+[B3O3Ph3(OC6H4Me-4)]- (5). Arylboronic acids 1a and 1b react with Rh(OC6H4Me-4)(PR3)3 (6: R = Et, 8: R = Ph) and with Rh(OC6H4Me-4)(cod)(PR3) (11: R = iPr, 12: R = Ph) to form [Rh(PR3)4]+[B5O6Ar4]- (7a: R = Et, Ar = C6H4OMe-4, 7b: R = Et, Ar = C6H3Me2-2,6, 9a: R = Ph, Ar = C6H3Me2-2,6) and [Rh(cod)(PR3)(L)]+[B5O6Ar4]- (13b: R = iPr, L = acetone, Ar = C6H3Me2-2,6, 14a: R = Ph, L = PPh3, Ar = C6H4OMe-4, 14b: R = Ph, L = PPh3, Ar = C6H3Me2-2,6), respectively. Hydrolysis of 14a yields [Rh(cod)(PPh3)2]+[B5O6(OH)4]- (15) quantitatively.  相似文献

The plasma chemistry of NO has been investigated in gas mixtures with oxygen and/or hydrocarbon and Ar as carrier gas. Surface wave discharges operating at microwave frequencies have been used for this study. The different plasma reactions have been analyzed for a pressure range between 30 and 75 Torr. Differences in product concentration and/or reaction yields smaller than 10% were found as a function of this parameter. The following gas mixtures have been considered for investigation: Ar/NO, Ar/NO/O2, Ar/NO/CH4, Ar/CH4/O2, Ar/NO/CH4/O2. It is found that NO decomposes into N2 and O2, whereas other products such as CO, H2, and H2O are also formed when CH4 and O2 are present in the reaction mixture. Depending on the working conditions, other minority products such as HCN, CO2, and C2 or higher hydrocarbons have been also detected. The reaction of an Ar/NO plasma with deposits of solid carbon has also been studied. The experiments have provided useful information with respect to the possible removal of soot particles by this type of plasma. It has been shown that carbon deposits are progressively burned off by interaction with the plasma, and practically 100% decomposition of NO was found. Plasma intermediate species have been studied by optical emission spectroscopy (OES). Bands and/or peaks due to N2*, NO*, OH*, C2*, CN*, CH*, or H* were detected with different relative intensities depending on the gas mixture. From the analysis of both the reaction products and efficiency and the type of intermediate species detected by OES, different plasma reactions and processes are proposed to describe the plasma chemistry of NO in each particular mixture of gases. The results obtained provide interesting insights about the plasma removal of NO in real gas exhausts.  相似文献

The nucleophilic substitution of N2 in benzenediazonium ion 1 by one H2O molecule to form protonated phenol 2 has been studied with ab initio (RHF, MP2, QCISD(T)//MP2) and hybrid density functional (B3LYP) methods. Three mechanisms were considered: (a) the unimolecular process SN1Ar with steps 1 --> Ph+ + N2 and Ph+ + H2O --> 2, (b) the bimolecular process SN2Ar with precoordination 1 + H2O --> 1 x H2O, SN reaction 1 x H2O --> [TS]++ --> 2 x N2 and dissociation of the postcoordination complex 2 x N2 --> 2 + N2, and (c) the direct bimolecular process SN2Ar that bypasses precoordination and involves just the SN reaction 1 + H2O --> [TS]++ --> 2 + N2. The SN2Ar reactions proceed by way of a Cs symmetric SN2Ar transition state structure that is rather loose, contains essentially a phenyl cation weakly bound to N2 and OH2, and is analogous to the transition state structures of front-side nucleophilic replacement at saturated centers. In solvolysis reactions, all of these processes follow first-order kinetics, and the electronic relaxation is essentially the same. It is argued that "unimolecular dediazoniations" have to proceed by way of SN2Ar transition state structures because strict SN1Ar reactions cannot be realized in solvolyses, despite the fact that the Gibbs free energy profile favors the strict SN1Ar process over the SN2Ar reaction by 6.7 kcal/mol. It is further argued that the direct SN2Ar process is the best model for the solvolysis reaction for dynamic reasons, and its Gibbs free energy of activation is 19.3 kcal/mol and remains higher than the SN1Ar value. Even though the SN1Ar and SN2Ar models provide activation enthalpies and SKIE values that closely match the experimental data, the analysis leads us to the unavoidable conclusion that this agreement is fortuitous. While the experiments do show that the solvent effect on the activation energy is about the same for all solvents, they do not show the absence of a solvent effect. The ab initio results presented here suggest that the solvent effect on the direct SN2Ar dediazoniation is approximately 12 kcal/mol, and computation of solvent effects with the isodensity polarized continuum model (IPCM) support this conclusion.  相似文献

Electron capture dynamics of SO(2)-H(2)O(Ar)(n) complexes (n = 0-2) have been investigated by means of direct ab initio molecular dynamics (MD) method in order to elucidate the effects of solvent argon on the reaction dynamics of SO(2)-H(2)O. The neutral complex of SO(2)-H(2)O has a C(s) symmetry, and the sulfur of SO(2) interacts with the oxygen of H(2)O with an eclipsed form. In the SO(2)-H(2)O(Ar)(n) complexes, the dipole of H(2)O interacts with the argon atoms in the most stable structure. Following the electron capture of the complex SO(2)-H(2)O, the complex anion SO(2)(-)(H(2)O) is dissociated directly into SO(2)(-) + H(2)O. On the other hand, the electron capture of SO(2)(H(2)O)(Ar)(n) argon complex (n = 1-2) leads to the anion-water complex SO(2)(-)(H(2)O) because the collision of H(2)O with the Ar atom causes a rebound of H(2)O from Ar atom to the SO(2)(-) anion. The argon solvent enhanced the SO(2)(-)(H(2)O) complex formation. The reaction mechanism of SO(2)(H(2)O) in the participation of argon atoms was discussed on the basis of the present results.  相似文献

The copper(II) complexes 1(H) and 1(Ar(X)), supported by the N,N-di(2-pyridylmethyl)benzylamine tridentate ligand (L(H)) or its derivatives having m-substituted phenyl group at the 6-position of pyridine donor groups (L(Ar(X))), have been prepared, and their reactivity toward H2O2 has been examined in detail at low temperature. Both copper(II) complexes exhibited a novel reactivity in acetone, giving 2-hydroxy-2-hydroperoxypropane (HHPP) adducts 2(H) and 2(Ar(X)), respectively. From 2(Ar(X)), an efficient aromatic ligand hydroxylation took place to give phenolate-copper(II) complexes 4(Ar(X)). Detailed spectroscopic and kinetic analyses have revealed that the reaction proceeds via an electrophilic aromatic substitution mechanism involving copper(II)-carbocation intermediates 3(Ar(X)). Theoretical studies at the density functional theory (DFT) level have strongly implicated conjugate acid/base catalysis in the O-O bond cleavage and C-O bond formation steps that take the peroxo intermediate 2(Ar(X)) to the carbocation intermediate 3(Ar(X)). In contrast to the 2(Ar(X)) cases, the HHPP-adduct 2(H) reacted to give a copper(II)-acetate complex [Cu(II)(L(H))(OAc)](ClO4) (6(H)), in which one of the oxygen atoms of the acetate co-ligand originated from H2O2. In this case, a mechanism involving a Baeyer-Villiger type 1,2-methyl shift from the HHPP-adduct and subsequent ester hydrolysis has been proposed on the basis of DFT calculations; conjugate acid/base catalysis is implicated in the 1,2-methyl shift process as well. In propionitrile, both 1(H) and 1(Ar(X)) afforded simple copper(II)-hydroperoxo complexes LCu(II)-OOH in the reaction with H2O2, demonstrating the significant solvent effect on the reaction between copper(II) complexes and H2O2.  相似文献

M(+)(H(2)O)(n) and M(+)(H(2)O)(n)Ar ions (M=Cu and Ag) are studied for exploring coordination and solvation structures of noble-metal ions. These species are produced in a laser-vaporization cluster source and probed with infrared (IR) photodissociation spectroscopy in the OH-stretch region using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. Density functional theory calculations are also carried out for analyzing the experimental IR spectra. Partially resolved rotational structure observed in the spectrum of Ag(+)(H(2)O)(1) x Ar indicates that the complex is quasilinear in an Ar-Ag(+)-O configuration with the H atoms symmetrically displaced off axis. The spectra of the Ar-tagged M(+)(H(2)O)(2) are consistent with twofold coordination with a linear O-M(+)-O arrangement for these ions, which is stabilized by the s-d hybridization in M(+). Hydrogen bonding between H(2)O molecules is absent in Ag(+)(H(2)O)(3) x Ar but detected in Cu(+)(H(2)O)(3) x Ar through characteristic changes in the position and intensity of the OH-stretch transitions. The third H(2)O attaches directly to Ag(+) in a tricoordinated form, while it occupies a hydrogen-bonding site in the second shell of the dicoordinated Cu(+). The preference of the tricoordination is attributable to the inefficient 5s-4d hybridization in Ag(+), in contrast to the extensive 4s-3d hybridization in Cu(+) which retains the dicoordination. This is most likely because the s-d energy gap of Ag(+) is much larger than that of Cu(+). The fourth H(2)O occupies the second shells of the tricoordinated Ag(+) and the dicoordinated Cu(+), as extensive hydrogen bonding is observed in M(+)(H(2)O)(4) x Ar. Interestingly, the Ag(+)(H(2)O)(4) x Ar ions adopt not only the tricoordinated form but also the dicoordinated forms, which are absent in Ag(+)(H(2)O)(3) x Ar but revived at n=4. Size dependent variations in the spectra of Cu(+)(H(2)O)(n) for n=5-7 provide evidence for the completion of the second shell at n=6, where the dicoordinated Cu(+)(H(2)O)(2) subunit is surrounded by four H(2)O molecules. The gas-phase coordination number of Cu(+) is 2 and the resulting linearly coordinated structure acts as the core of further solvation processes.  相似文献

Infrared spectra of various OH+ and H2O+ isotopomers solvated in solid argon are presented. The OH+ and H2O+ cations were produced by co-deposition of H2O/Ar mixture with high-frequency discharged Ar at 4 K. Detailed isotopic substitution studies confirm the assignments of absorptions at 3054.9 and 3040.0 cm(-1) to the antisymmetric and symmetric H-O-H stretching vibrations of H2O+ and 2979.6 cm(-1) to the O-H stretching vibration of OH+. The frequencies of H2O+ solvated in solid argon are red-shifted, whereas the frequency of OH+ is blue-shifted with respect to the gas-phase fundamentals. On the basis of previous gas-phase studies and quantum chemical calculations, the OH+ and H2O+ cations solvated in solid argon may be regarded as the OH+-Ar5 and H2O+-Ar4 complexes isolated in the argon matrix.  相似文献

Infrared predissociation (IRPD) spectra of Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(1-4)(H(2)O)(1-2)Ar(0-1) and Na(+)(C(6)H(6))(2-4)(H(2)O)(1-2)Ar(1) are presented along with ab initio calculations. The results indicate that the global minimum energy structure for Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(2)(H(2)O)(2) has each water forming a π-hydrogen bond with the same benzene molecule. This bonding motif is preserved in Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(3-4)(H(2)O)(2)Ar(0-1) with the additional benzene ligands binding to the available free OH groups. Argon tagging allows high-energy Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(2-4)(H(2)O)(2)Ar isomers containing water-water hydrogen bonds to be trapped and detected. The monohydrated, Li(+) containing clusters contain benzene-water interactions with varying strength as indicated by shifts in OH stretching frequencies. The IRPD spectra of M(+)(C(6)H(6))(1-4)(H(2)O)(1-2)Ar are very different for lithium-bearing versus sodium-bearing cluster ions emphasizing the important role of ion size in determining the most favorable balance of competing noncovalent interactions.  相似文献

Photochemistry of HI molecules on large Ar(n) and (H(2)O)(n), n ~ 100-500, clusters was investigated after excitation with 243 nm and 193 nm laser radiation. The measured H-fragment kinetic energy distributions pointed to a completely different photodissociation mechanism of HI on water than on argon clusters. Distinct features corresponding to the fragment caging (slow fragments) and direct exit (fast fragments) were observed in the spectra from HI photodissociation on Ar(n) clusters. On the other hand, the fast fragments were entirely missing in the spectrum from HI·(H(2)O)(n) and the slow-fragment part of the spectrum had a different shape from HI·Ar(n). The HI·(H(2)O)(n) spectrum was interpreted in terms of the acidic dissociation of HI on (H(2)O)(n) in the ground state, and hydronium radical H(3)O formation following the UV excitation of the ionically dissociated species into states of a charge-transfer-to-solvent character. The H(3)O generation was proved by experiments with deuterated species DI and D(2)O. The experiment was complemented by ab initio calculations of structures and absorption spectra for small HI·(H(2)O)(n) clusters, n = 0-5, supporting the proposed model.  相似文献

The complexes between trans-N-methylformamide (t-NMF) and Ar, N(2), CO, H(2)O have been studied by infrared matrix isolation spectroscopy and/or ab initio calculations. The infrared spectra of NMF/Ne, NMF/Ar and NMF/N(2)(CO,H(2)O)/Ar matrices have been measured and the effect of the complexation on the perturbation of t-NMF frequencies was analyzed. The geometries of the complexes formed between t-NMF and Ar, N(2), CO and H(2)O were optimized in two steps at the MP2/6-311++G(2d,2p) level of theory. The four structures, found for every system at this level, were reoptimized on the CP-corrected potential energy surface; both normal and CP corrected harmonic frequencies and intensities were calculated. For every optimized structure the interaction energy was partitioned according to the SAPT scheme and the topological distribution of the charge density (AIM theory) was performed. The analysis of the experimental and theoretical results indicates that the t-NMF-N(2) and CO complexes present in the matrices are stabilized by very weak N-H···N and N-H···C hydrogen bonds in which the N-H group of t-NMF serves as a proton donor. In turn, the t-NMF-H(2)O complex present in the matrix is stabilized by O-H···O(C) hydrogen bonding in which the carbonyl group of t-NMF acts as a proton acceptor. Both, the theoretical and experimental results indicate that involvement of the NH group of t-NMF in formation of very weak hydrogen bonds with the N(2) or CO molecules leads to a clearly noticeable red shift of the CH stretching wavenumber whereas engagement of the CO group as a proton acceptor triggers a blue shift of this wavenumber.  相似文献

The reaction of [UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)Cl] 2 [Ar 2nacnac = (2,6- (i)Pr 2C 6H 3)NC(Me)CHC(Me)N(2,6- (i)Pr 2C 6H 3)] with Na(RC(O)CHC(O)R) (R = Me, Ph, CF 3) in tetrahydrofuran results in the formation of UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(RC(O)CHC(O)R) (R = Me, 1; Ph, 2; CF 3, 3), which can be isolated in moderate yields. The structures of 1 and 2 have been confirmed by X-ray crystallography, while the solution redox properties of 1- 3 have been measured by cyclic voltammetry. Complexes 1- 3 exhibit reduction features at -1.82, -1.59, and -1.39 V (vs Fc/Fc (+)), respectively, at a scan rate of 100 mV.s (-1). The decrease in the reduction potential follows the electron-withdrawing ability of each beta-diketonate ligand. Chemical reduction of 1 and 2 with Cp* 2Co in toluene yields [Cp* 2Co][UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(RC(O)CHC(O)R)] (R = Me, 4; Ph, 5), while reduction of 3 with Cp 2Co provides [Cp 2Co][UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(CF 3C(O)CHC(O)CF 3)] ( 6). Complexes 4- 6 have been fully characterized, while the solid-state molecular structure of 5 has also been determined. In contrast to the clean reduction that occurs with Cp* 2Co, reduction of 1 with sodium ribbon, followed by cation exchange with [NEt 4]Cl, produces [NEt 4][UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(H 2CC(O)CH(O)CMe)] ( 7) in modest yield. This product results from the formal loss of H (*) from a methyl group of the acetylacetonate ligand. Alternately, complex 7 can be synthesized by deprotonation of 1 with NaNTMS 2 in good yield.  相似文献

The structure of the dichloride hexahydrate cube, [Cl(2)(H(2)O)(6)](2-), as a salt with the tris(diisopropylamino)cyclopropenium cation, [C(3)(N(i)Pr(2))(3)](+), has been determined by low-temperature X-ray and neutron-diffraction studies. H atoms not involved in O-HCl bonding are disordered over two 0.5 occupancy sites around the O(6) ring. Calculations of the dianionic cube in the gas phase show remarkably good agreement with the solid-state structures with the exception of short O-H bond distances around the O(6) ring that suggests the involvement of a dynamic process. The cluster was also characterised by single-crystal infrared spectroscopy, and vibrational wavenumbers were found to be in good agreement with hydrogen bonding distances. Dibromide and difluoride hexahydrates were also studied theoretically, and OO distances were found to decrease in the order difluoride > dichloride > dibromide > (H(2)O)(6) and as OOO angles increased towards an almost planar ring in (H(2)O)(6). NMR spectra of a chloroform solution of the hydrated salt at -25 °C is consistent with cluster formation.  相似文献

Results of multiple configuration quantum/classical simulations of the dynamics of Ar x H2O photodissociation are reported. In agreement with experimental studies of Nesbitt and co-workers [J. Chem. Phys. 2000, 112, 7449], we find that the OH products emerge rotationally excited, compared to the dissociation of bare H2O. The wavelength dependence of the total cross section and the energy transfer to the argon atom are also investigated. The trends are interpreted in terms of features in the Ar x H2O A state potential surface.  相似文献

The spectral properties of protonated water clusters, especially the difference between Eigen (H3O+) and Zundel (H5O2+) conformers and the difference between their unhydrated and dominant hydrated forms are investigated with the first principles molecular dynamics simulations as well as with the high level ab initio calculations. The vibrational modes of the excess proton in H3O+ are sensitive to the hydration, while those in H5O2+ are sensitive to the messenger atom such as Ar (which was assumed to be weakly bound to the water cluster during acquisitions of experimental spectra). The spectral feature around approximately 2700 cm-1 (experimental value: 2665 cm-1) for the Eigen moiety appears when H3O+ is hydrated. This feature corresponds to the hydrating water interacting with H3O+, so it cannot appear in the Eigen core. Thus, H3O+ alone would be somewhat different from the Eigen forms in water. For the Zundel form (in particular, H5O2+), there have been some differences in spectral features among different experiments as well as between experiments and theory. When an Ar messenger atom is introduced at a specific temperature corresponding to the experimental condition, the calculated vibrational spectra for H5O2+.Ar are in good agreement with the experimental infrared spectra showing the characteristic Zundel frequency at approximately 1770 cm-1. Thus, the effect of hydration, messenger atom Ar, and temperature are crucial to elucidating the nature of vibrational spectra of Eigen and Zundel forms and to assigning the vibrational modes of small protonated water clusters.  相似文献

Infrared spectroscopy of gas-phase hydrated clusters provides us much information on structures and dynamics of water networks. However, interpretation of spectra is often difficult because of high internal energy (vibrational temperature) of clusters and coexistence of many isomers. Here we report an approach to vary these factors by using the inert gas (so-called "messenger")-mediated cooling technique. Protonated water clusters with a messenger (M), H(+)(H(2)O)(4-8)·M (M = Ne, Ar, (H(2))(2)), are formed in a molecular beam and probed with infrared photodissociation spectroscopy in the OH stretch region. Observed spectra are compared with each other and with bare H(+)(H(2)O)(n). They show clear messenger dependence in their bandwidths and relative band intensities, reflecting different internal energy and isomer distribution, respectively. It is shown that the internal energy follows the order H(+)(H(2)O)(n) > H(+)(H(2)O)(n)·(H(2))(2) > H(+)(H(2)O)(n)·Ar > H(+)(H(2)O)(n)·Ne, while the isomer-selectivity, which changes the isomer distribution in the bare system, follows the order H(+)(H(2)O)(n)·Ar > H(+)(H(2)O)(n)·(H(2))(2) > H(+)(H(2)O)(n)·Ne ~ (H(+)(H(2)O)(n)). Although the origin of the isomer-selectivity is unclear, comparison among spectra measured with different messengers is very powerful in spectral analyses and makes it possible to easily assign spectral features of each isomer.  相似文献

Complexes 1-3 upon reaction with NaN(3) in ethanol at ambient temperature afforded [(η(6)-C(10)H(14))RuN(3){κ(2)(N,N')((ArN)(2)C-N(H)Ar)}] (Ar = C(6)H(4)Me-4 (5), C(6)H(4)(OMe)-2 (6), and C(6)H(4)Me-2 (7)) in high yield. [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of 5-7 with RO(O)C-C≡C-C(O)OR (R = Et (DEAD) and Me (DMAD)) (diethylacetylenedicarboxylate, DEAD; dimethylacetylenedicarboxylate, DMAD) in CH(2)Cl(2) at ambient temperature afforded [(η(6)-C(10)H(14))Ru{N(3)C(2)(C(O)OR)(2)}{κ(2)(N,N')((ArN)(2)C-N(H)Ar)}]·xH(2)O (x = 1, R = Et, Ar = C(6)H(4)Me-4 (8·H(2)O); x = 0, R = Me, Ar = C(6)H(4)(OMe)-2 (9), and C(6)H(4)Me-2 (10)) in moderate yield. The molecular structures of 1-6, 8·H(2)O, and 10 were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction data. The ruthenium atom in the aforementioned complexes revealed pseudo octahedral "three legged piano stool" geometry. The guanidinate ligand in 2, 3, and 6 revealed syn-syn conformation and that in 4, and 10 revealed syn-anti conformation, and the conformational difference was rationalized on the basis of subtle differences in the stereochemistry of the coordinated nitrogen atoms caused by the aryl moiety in 3 and 4 or steric overload caused by the substituents around the ruthenium atom in 10. The bonding pattern of the CN(3) unit of the guanidinate ligand in the new complexes was explained by invoking n-π conjugation involving the interaction of the NHAr/N(coord)Ar lone pair with C═Nπ* orbital of the imine unit. Complexes 1, 2, 5, 6, 8·H(2)O, and 9 were shown to exist as a single isomer in solution as revealed by NMR data, and this was ascribed to a fast C-N(H)Ar bond rotation caused by a less bulky aryl moiety in these complexes. In contrast, 3 and 10 were shown to exist as a mixture of three and five isomers in about 1:1:1 and 1·0:1·2:2·7:3·5:6·9 ratios, respectively in solution as revealed by a VT (1)H NMR, (1)H-(1)H COSY in conjunction with DEPT-90 (13)C NMR data measured at 233 K in the case of 3. The multiple number of isomers in solution was ascribed to the restricted C-N(H)(o-tolyl) bond rotation caused by the bulky o-tolyl substituent in 3 or the aforementioned restricted C-NH(o-tolyl) bond rotation as well as the restricted ruthenium-arene(centroid) bond rotation caused by the substituents around the ruthenium atom in 10.  相似文献

The binding properties of O2 and CO to recombinant human serum albumin (rHSA) mutants with a prosthetic heme group have been physicochemically and kinetically characterized. Iron(III) protoporphyrin IX (hemin) is bound in subdomain IB of wild-type rHSA [rHSA(wt)] with weak axial coordination by Tyr-161. The reduced ferrous rHSA(wt)-heme under an Ar atmosphere exists in an unusual mixture of four- and five-coordinate complexes and is immediately autoxidized by O2. To confer O2 binding capability on this naturally occurring hemoprotein, a proximal histidine was introduced into position Ile-142 or Leu-185 by site-directed mutagenesis. A single mutant (I142H) and three double mutants (I142H/Y161L, I142H/Y161F, and Y161L/L185H) were prepared. Both rHSA(I142H/Y161L)-heme and rHSA(I142H/Y161F)-heme formed ferrous five-N-coordinate high-spin complexes with axial ligation of His-142 under an Ar atmosphere. These artificial hemoproteins bind O2 at room temperature. Mutation at the other side of the porphyrin, Y161L/L185H, also allowed O2 binding to the heme. In contrast, the single mutant rHSA(I142H)-heme could not bind O2, suggesting that removal of Y161 is necessary to confer reversible O2 binding. Laser flash photolysis experiments showed that the kinetics of CO recombination with the rHSA(mutant)-heme were biphasic, whereas O2 rebinding exhibited monophasic kinetics. This could be due to the two different geometries of the axial imidazole coordination arising from the two orientations of the porphyrin plane in the heme pocket. The O2 binding affinities of the rHSA(mutant)-heme were significantly lower than those of hemoglobin and myoglobin, principally due to the high O2 dissociation rates. Changing Leu-161 to Phe-161 at the distal side increased the association rates of both O2 and CO, which resulted in enhanced binding affinity.  相似文献

In this paper, we report the synthesis of carbon coated Li(Mn0.35Co 0.2Fe0.45)PO4 and discuss the effect of Co2P formation during the carbothermal reduction process, which enhances the electrochemical performance of cathode material for lithium ion batteries. It was observed that Co2P was favorably formed in 5% H2/Ar than in Ar atmosphere. The conductivity of Li(Mn0.35Co0.2Fe0.45)PO4/C sintered at 600-800 degrees C in 5% H2/Ar is increased as the temperature is increased. The O K-edge X-ray absorption near edge spectrum (XANES) demonstrates that content of hole carriers is increased in Li(Mn0.35Co0.2Fe0.45)PO4/C as the amount of Co2P increased. We also observed that the capacity of Li(Mn0.35Co0.2Fe0.45)PO4/C is increased with sintering temperature, and it exhibited a maximum capacity of 166 mAh/g at 700 degrees C. It was found that the enhancement in the discharge capacity of sintered Li(Mn0.35Co0.2Fe0.45)PO4/C was as a result of its higher electrical conductivity under 5% H2/Ar atmosphere as compared with Ar atmosphere.  相似文献
